Staff 3 still puts you in combat…

Oh yes the 2 seconds combat mode when you finish the skill… So annoying and also diminish the mobility of the skill.
But to have the blast i think it’s mandatory to change to combat mode. Isn’t that right?

Yep the blind is missing would be amazing if we could keep the blind in the skill.

You can blast the field to get stealth.

Ancient seed does not work most of the times because of the cooldown.
Only trigger the first target it hits, even if you are using piercing arrows or Axe main hand.
Same problem with traps and glyphs, it does affect only one mob, the first to hit.

Really few times the conditions are perfect for the seeds to work.

At least add an icon like the Clarion Bond so i can be seen when the trait is available.

Also when triggered add like one second of active effect were any dazed, launched, knocked back, etc mob that we hit is affected by the ancient seeds. Enough at least to make use of the Axe main hand and piercing arrows.

oh thank god. Now they only need to bring back the old bristleback skill.
It is true it wasn’t good but having the burst in the F2 skill is just awfull.

Bring back the old lingering light

I don’t like the new lingering light. Even when it was 3 seconds CD i didn’t use it.
I did like the old one the one in the beta.

The wisp around you made the druid to be noticed, if you want healing you stay close to the ranger now the other players get random healing that can’t be attributed to the druid.

The idea of the wisp (in the staff and the trait) to apply blind seems interesting though. But the actual lingering light is not fun because it does not give the heal needed.
300 heal every 12 seconds is not noticiable.

And change the other pets skills to fit the same design philosophy.

It is not fun to have to watch the countdown in the pet skill instead enjoying the game. The pet skill must be an utility that does not need to be cast all the time during combat, but when you need it.

Really it not fun how the smokescale and the bristleback are design now. I liked better in the beta.

the reason is they prolly did not consider Rangers.

Top tier Rangers are running Druid, currently which does not use traps within the top set ups currently.. so they felt this change Wouldnt change the Rangers Strengths as it doesnt lay into any of its traps.

They prolly didnt even take it into consideration this would lower anything people were using with druids cause the majority of known rangers arnt using it.

Actually if you main druid (i main druid now) the only way to go (in a sense of get exp/loot) is an hybrid condi druid with traps and SB.
You take your condi trap ranger (with runes and all) and you add the druid trait line and the staff.

It’s not as good as the meta but at least you get some rewards

Ancient seeds only affect ONE mob

When using piercing arrows or Axe main hand only one mob is affected by this trait although you may hit 5 mobs with the same arrow.

Let's Fix Ancient Seed Bugs

For me the triggering works fine: you have to strike an CC’ed mob to trigger. Also works when they are CC’ed by another character, even your pet (the dogs and smokescale are amazing for this).

For me what it buggers me is the fact that only trigger the first impact.
For example: A trap/glyph will trigger up to 5 roots, while the piercing arrows or the axe MH only trigger one although is the same attack.

I would get rid of the CD, is not like you can perma-daze and hit at the same time.

Druid only get astral with staff

The druid does not generate astral force with the other healing skills he may use:

  • Nature Spirit
  • Healing from pets
  • Water sigil
  • Traits that heal others: Resounding timbre, Invigorating bond…
  • Healing spring.

The tool tip of Celestial Being does not imply that the generation of astral force only is applied from the staff but from any heal the ranger applies.

Astral force does not regenerate when heal...

I mean astral force does not regenerate when used:

  • nature spirit
  • Healing spring (regenerate allies)
  • Resounding timbre (regenerate allies)
  • Water Sigil.
  • Pets
  • Traits that make your pet heal when used the F2

I mean, the astral force should regenerate with any healing skill we use to heal others.
Right now the druid can not generate astral force unless he goes all the time with the staff. If you feel like to change to a damage option there is no way you can use the other healing skills to regenerate the astral force quicker (the damage coefficient is still too low)

I have learned this recipe but is does not appear in the crafting window. I have level 500 in huntsman, but i can’t see the sigil to craft it.
Am i missing something?

Necessary Pet update

We have now our very own dev, so I’m positive, especially since HoT just launched and they need to keep track of the balance, that this thread will be read by the devs.

The issue here is someone is over Irenio’s pay-grade and has the final word. Doesn’t matter if Irenio reads it, promotes it, or comes up with an idea for Ranger that could/should/would have improved the class. He has no final say.

I don’t think that is that. for example Robert did a great ob with the necro (not only the reaper) and i don’t think Robert is above Irenio. Or at least it shouldn’t.

I think what is happening here is Irenio is easy to push around in the office. He thinks in a great way to make the ranger to be able to stack boons, so the the trait Bountiful Hunter has some sense to exists, and also making the ranger more competitive, Roy comes around and says that he has to change that because the boon maker is The Herald.
And Irenio close his mouth and change the skill WHaO to a really crappy one.

That’s why i think he would be happier working in other department and we should ask for a dev that actually can stand on his ground. And communicate more and effectively.
I don’t see threads so good and helpful in any of the other subforums as you can see in this one. Practically the players are doing all the work for him, still the changes show he does not care.

Druid bunker

Bunker does not work in this game where you have to do a minimum amount of damage to get rewards.
Also you have to kill players to get rewards in other game modes.

Bunker will leave you without rewards while the rest of the players will get the ascended gear or the precursors from drops. I don’t think your teammates will share their loot with you.

Astral Force is a failure.

i wasn’t wrong i didn’t want to say anything but….. I TOLD YOU SO.

For the astral to build up Irenio could use what i suggested long ago:

  • Just simply make any outgoing attack to heal for a small amount the allies around your target like the water sigil and make the Astral to build up just with healing like in BWE3.

I can’t understand why Irenio does not make it happen. Although it seems he likes a lot of countdowns. Not fair when the Ranger is the only one affected by this disease.

For the clunky Astral form he could use my suggestion:

  • Astral form is drained ONLY by skill casting. Longer the CD bigger the consumption.

But again, his last comment was the 19th. Let’s see if he hasn’t taken a long holidays from the forum.

PS: have any of you tried to build up caf underwater? I can kill the megalodon champ in Arah before it get 100%

Quick question: Do you think Irenio is still working i the Druid? because i don’t see any changes that we asked in the BWE3 feedback thread and they changed a lot of stuff we didn’t asked for.
Who did ask for the astral thing to work like this?

Last message from him was on October 19th… Now that HoT is out we should expect him and the rest to take a long holidays from the forum.

PETS

  • The bristleback F2 fail to hit some enemies. The scales go above the mob and hit nothing. This issue also happens to the LB rapid Fire.
  • The skill from the bristleback like sharpening stone are not good or useful. Please change it to any kind of utility skill like most of the other pets have.
    Still couldn’t test the wyverns and the tiger.

STAFF

  • The staff#5 sometimes fail to apply the effect. The magic wall does not change the projectile to healing. This happens when you lift the wall when the projectile is in the air. Although i can see clearly how the projectile go across the wall is does not apply the healing.
  • Please extend the wall duration from Staff#4.
  • The healing from the magic wall – staff#5 has to scale better with healing, has to heal more by projectile. This skill should be more rewarding because is really situational and has a long cooldown.
  • The Staff#3 stucks in some small terrain irregularities.
  • The Staff#5 has the same problems as the earlier Reapers GS#5, is really difficult to point the skill when you can’t see your pointer when walking around. The same as the Reaper GS#5 was fixed this skill should point at the beginning at your tagged enemy. Or bring the permanent pointer back as a dot or something.
  • Staff#5 only immobilise for 1 second. Please extend the duration of the condition.

ASTRAL FORM

  • Build astral energy from damage is not enough. Underwater we can’t use staff, the weapons don’t build the astral force like ever.
  • Please bring back the astral build up from BWE3. Delete damage aspect of the astral build up, and bring some healing upon outgoing attack to allies around the target like the water sigil.
  • Astral force goes away after combat.
  • There is like a 10 seconds cooldown after leaving astral form.
  • the astral form is too constrained: the astral energy evaporates after combat, you can only use it when is full, it only last like 10 seconds and has a 10 second cooldown. Please decide how you want the astral form to work. Right now I can not support my team because all this constrains.
  • The animations for astra#1 to #3 are too fast. Although is good for visibility it really dull the beauty of the Druid because they are almost not noticeable which make difficult to see if hit.. Please bring back the animation speed from BWE3 but make the animation smaller, the lunar impact could be thinner.
  • Please make the astral skill#1 to hit faster. Also i think the animation is missing, i can’t see when it hits.
  • I’m gated now between Astral#3 and astral#4 because Astral#5 kills me, Astral#1 and astral#2 are underwhelming.
  • Please add some damage to astral#1.
  • Please make the astral skill #2 to apply resistance instead of cleanse. The trait could also use this change.
  • When cast Astral#4 i can’t do anything else except walk around for all the duration of the skill. Please change this to allow me to keep casting other skills while i have the water field around me.
  • Please add an animation tail while Astral#4 is active, so my teammates can see when i’m casting it and be able to use the water field.
  • Please make the Astral#4 to last a couple of seconds longer.
  • Please add stability and protection/resistance to self while casting Astral#5. Right now i have to die to be able to cast astral#5.
  • Astral#5 is not applying immobilise. Or Just apply 1 second, if that is the case, please extend the duration.

GLYPHS

  • Please change Empowerment. Frost spirit does the same but better.
  • Please increase the self-healing for Rejuvenation. Also increase the range.
    I couldn’t test the other glyphs yet

TRAITS

  • Please increase the range of Celestial Shadow so my teammates can benefit from it.
  • Please consider applying the effects of Celestial Shadow when entering the Astral form.
  • Please consider applying condition damage/duration mitigation by permanent aura like spotter in Grace of the Land.
    I couldn’t test the grandmaster traits yet

No-druid related issues.

  • The action cam miss the AA. If it could behave the same as the normal view, to click once and keep auto casting until i click on another enemy that will be great. From i saw this i stopped using the action cam. Also keep the other behavior that if you keep clicked keep casting to the cross.

The little fire trail the terragrifs leave behind seems to block projectiles in general though there is no official notation that I’ve found.

Yes but also sometimes the projectiles goes above the target, which makes them to miss.
This is happening to the bristleback also.

Why do people persist in thinking Ranger/Druid is not good at supporting through boons?
Why do people persist in thinking Ranger/Druid is not good at supporting through unique abilities?
Are you kidding me?
Look at this build. It’s miles better than Herald and Ventari.

15% additional direct damage
15% additional condition damge
30 burn ticks every 8s
10% damage 6/16s
10% damage 75% of the time 60/80s
+7.5% crit chance
Perma Swiftness, Fury, Regeneration and 11-14 might. 50% Vigor. Perma Protection if you want it, drop GoEmp for Stone Spirit.
Then the healing on top. Plus you can contribute decent damage with sword during burn phases.

How will that not be wanted? It will be outright mandatory because of the damage boosts and healing alone.

No, not kidding. This is a bit of off topic but your numbers are too optimistic:

  1. no one uses sword. You know why.
  2. Ranger does very little DPS compared to other classes. +15% damage will not fix that.
  3. To access to the boons from the Warhorn you have to drop the healings from the staff for 10 seconds. You could go to CAF after WH, but you are maybe wasting your burst healing just to keep the might, fury and regen.
  4. Spirits only give 3 secs effects every 8-10 seconds. Only good one is frost.
  5. Elite spirit has very small radius. Not useful in raid where no one is stacking in one corner.
  6. Spirits passive is only 5 players not 10.
  7. with 15K hp and 2.1K armor you are going to struggle to keep yourself alive in melee.

And hundreds more issues that already have being commented by other users here in the forums.

I see what you want to accomplish there, i want also the community to change how they view the ranger. But for that to happen is not enough with hopeful thoughts, we need facts. And for that core ranger has to be fixed and reworked. Then Druid will have the chance to become awesome.

Actually, I meant Ventari/Glint Herald. Herald cannot maintain the boons from Glint and heal at the same time, Druid can. Not as much Might, but everything else as well as far superior healing.

Also, their DPS will drop significantly when maintaining those boons, because they will not be able to spam weapon skills.

Still, i think Druid will not be needed because up to the last update although it gets much better (thank Irenio) still stays with the only heal no other kind of support theme.
Ranger does not offer much support in boons: Spotter and Frost Spirit (after last change with 95% damage mitigation) being all of them. The other spirits have too many conditions to apply the very short passive to be reliable, you will see.
In the raid in BWE3 I didn’t see anything that could make the Druid a must class, the players that needed that much healing are the ones that keep dying most of the time (aka L2P). Other classes can not heal as fast as the druid but they can heal fast enough. And bring more support (boons and such) and DPS to the team.

This is my opinion with the actual state of the core ranger, if Irenio is able to balance the class to be in line with the rest druid could be awesome.

Pets/Spirits update for HoT

Remember, you’ve seen that many designers are actively reviewing professions. So don’t give up hope, and be sure to keep in mind that the devs have to look at the big picture as well as the small. There is a lot of careful and critical review taking place, and I have a feeling there will be other changes in the future. (And no, I don’t know what they are, but I’m glad that the professions are getting so much attention these days, and this change seems a really great step in the right direction!)

We are angry, bitter and venting many years of frustration Gaile, don’t go waving the happy wand around these parts! Get off our lawn!

Man, and rangers, as a rule, are usually so nice! Well, all I can say is "HUMPH!!*

And we are the nicest community of players in GW2, always available to help!! but that doesn’t mean we can’t spit some salty and bitter comments on the way.. Just because we live alone in the forest and the loneliness of not being listened by anyone make us so. But always with a good heart in hand

Actually i don’t see permanent damage mitigation like a problem solver here. It’s a dirty fix but i don’t see it like really working. For pvE there shouldn’t be much complaining though, anything that can make the pets survive the megadestroyer’s lava like AoE boss areas is very welcome, but the main problem with the pets AI is in PvP and WvW.

While the team can’t find a solution for this the general mentality of ranger = useless will not change, the ranger’s teammates have to be able to appreciate the pet to change that.

If more fine grain control is not possible Just making the pet smarter so they actually help the ranger/other players would be fantastic. I think things like the dogs breaking stomps channeled skills, the bears offer cover with the immunity skill, birds dropping swiftness on crippled teammates or moa healing allies when is they need it instead fully random would change that mentality really quick.

i have to see yet if Irenio is working to fix ranger, but as right now my prediction is this one: Druid will lose it’s newness really quick and then will go back to complain how bad is the ranger and how useless is the druid that only heals.
Revenant will replace any spots the druid could get in the raids very soon. Druid will be like the ranger the class none uses except for casual farming.

I agree with the OP fully.

Does this reduction include cleaving attacks? or are those considered “targeted” attacks?

If the cleave attack targets the minion then no reduction, if the minion is not the target of the cleave attack then yes it does get reduced.

ok guys my two cents here. As Irenio explained in the rangers subforums (thanks Irenio) the problem with the attacks are that all of them are treated internally like AoE. That means that you have two status: targeted and AoE. There is not something like AoE for real AoE attacks, the sword#1 that hit 3 targets is also AoE.

Within PvE there is no problem with that, PvE mobs will not complain. But can you imaging what would happen if your GreatSword attacks would do just 5% of the real damage because you don’t have the pet specifically targeted? (Or even the 50% for what matters)

So i think that’s the reason why Roy and the rest of the team can’t apply it now to any competitive environment : PvP or WvW.

As i commented before to Irenio in it’s thread one of the best ways to fix this is to increment the minion environmental awareness and add mechanics to avoid damage, but not permanent mitigation.
To accomplish this at least for PvP and WvW I would advise to make the pet behave closer to a player (because to change all the mobs in PVE seriously does not worth it and the damage mitigation is fine, although future mobs could use more player-like mechanic):

  • This controls could be made on the player side, because there shouldn’t be more than 1 or 2 of those entities, shouldn’t be much taxating on the player computer. Could be handled within the pathing algorithm to check for the red areas.
  • Can you obtain some object id unique to that attack from the AoE damage? That way you can apply the rule: if the damage is coming from the same Id more than one tick that means is sustained AoE area (firestorm, barrage) = Avoid.
  • Can you know when the AoE area is marked in red circle? If the can can detect where the red circles are the pet can decide to avoid to go in and to get out when is inside, like a normal player would do.

Making all the AoE areas detectable to the pet (traps once activated too) would mak the AI to be able to behave consistently against those threats. Also would make pets viable in PvP/WvW without becoming overpowered (evade every X seconds for example) .
I wouldn’t apply this AI to all minions though, just to make difference between classes.
I would leave it for the smartest of all (a way to say this) definitely the ranger’s pet (it’s not something they can choose to exchange), and maybe some elites, like the meat golem from the Necro and minions from thief.
Other lesser minions or illusions is not advisable to use an smarter AI simply because of the spawning ability of those. Wouldn’t be much fun if in 1v1 would become 1 v mesmer an all his friends.

Please, consider the following information:

During beta, I saw many original warriors, elementalists, even guardians being accepted in a raid… but not one single Ranger (just druids)

Rangers have not been improved and Druids are just a total different profession, healing oriented.

In HoT we will find warriors, elem, druids… but not rangers.

So… rangers are dead. Amen

That could be solved if Irenio consider apply the suggestions are being made i the forums like the ones in my signature. Most of them are really easy to implement, just some small changes, but enough to feel significative.
The most difficult could be Pet Ai and the change in shouts to became more like status you assign your pet. If you could activate the search and rescue status, so your pet goes by itself to res allies (although at 1/3 of the real speed) or the guard command so the pet could attack stealthed enemies the other players really would begin to appreciate the ranger as a useful tool. The ranger wouldn’t need to do any powercreep (like the recent changes in MDG hat although addresses in some way the lack of might stacking stills doesn’t solve the deep problem of that is impossible to give use to that trait with our HP pool).

Here are my thoughts on the matter if somebody is interested.

There’ll be more supportive damage for Celestial Avatar by launch… possibly from trait modifications or from skill changes.

Yes please. I mean i must agree that CAF is the best healing in game. But except some very extreme situations i don’t think that much healing is really needed. CAF to be able to give extra support options (protective boons, CC or other kind of damage mitigation) would be awesome. In the beta i found that once you healed your team you had nothing else to do (well spam Lunar impact). Some damage would be nice, but if you prefer to keep the healing theme on the CAF with support abilities that are not only heal should be enough.

An issue which should not be decoupled here is that Celestial Avatar felt gated behind staff use (and troll unguent), which left a ranger with one damage-focused weapon option and one support weapon.

I’m making some changes to astral force rate gain to try to address this. Ideally it should be possible to build up your astral force without -needing- to run staff, but running staff should speed up the process by nature of the heals it provides. This would yield the option of running two non-staff weapons while still having Celestial Avatar available.

Again a correct observation. Just saying that Healing spring also filled up your astral bar.
However maybe I’d like to use an hybrid build that allow me to support offensively my team while keeping some healing attribute.
Adapting one minor to provide an small healing to allies around your target (up to 3) with any attack would be nice and would solve any complains about the staff This way if you want to be full healing you use the staff otherwise you could use you usual weapons and keep building the Astral with no need to use the damage (that i see kinda difficult to balance having in mind the variety of spike/sustained damage skills we have).

If you want to focus on being the top offense then you probably shouldn’t be selecting the Druid specialization.

Well, we all know that if we would want to go for top offensive we would not have chosen the ranger in first place.I don’t think that’s the point here, the constructive feedback usually pointed out that the druid needed more support options.
The staff is find as a pure heal option, the damage is really low but has a lot of heals instead. If the Druids can keep an small aspect of the healing while use other weapons that i think could solve any complains about the damage in that weapon.

Some change in how the Glyphs work would be very welcoming too. In this forums you have a lot of new ideas to apply so i hope you can adjust them for your glyphs.

Personally i don’t like the shout-like mechanism. For me it feels really boring with no strategical awareness of those. you just put yourself in the middle and hit 7 to 9.
The variety in normal state was good just working in the effects to be relevant, the CAF state needs to differentiate from more healing.
I would go as far make the mechanics closer to the signets from the thief with ranged activated component.
I would make the active effect to be a ranged small AoE (the actual 300 is fine) with 10 seconds delay trigger that triggers automatically if a foe/ally step on it. Short lived traps.
Just to make the mechanics differentiate from shouts, because although Glyphs behave like shouts the miss the synergy with the actual items in game. Something to make up for the lack of synergy.

Glyph Redux

So, came up with a different idea for Glyph of Rejuvenation and it could actually solve a couple of issues, ie mob tagging and building AF without staff or TU, check it out!

What do you think about this? More in line i was thinking.
Although i still think it would bring less work if it goes to a minor trait.

I have to disagree Power Druid is not good. Just don’t use the staff.

Healing on attack is not a bad idea though, I wouldn’t make it a trait though, why not make our glyph function like Signet of Malice while not in celestial form and then deal damage PBAoE on heal when we are, as well as a mild heal? That would solve a LOT of problems actually.

Anything could be good, I don’t like the shout-like mechanic of the glyphs anyway.
However that could make that glyph a nice thing. We already saw what happens when we get nice things.

the thing is if you don’t use the staff you miss the sustain the Druid can have. And most of the traits in the druid line are referring to healing.

I think most of us get where you’re coming from, Anduriell.

There is a point where hyperbole starts to get hard to spectate, though, and while I’ll readily sympathize with the things you say – I’m having a hard time making it to the end of your posts lately.

Let’s just take things one step at a time.
Even if we had proven developer traction, they’re not going to fix everything overnight, ya’ know?

Yeh i agree lately i’m getting over the top. I’m sorry for that, mostly because you fellow forumers are who read this instead the people should be doing it, is just the sentiment of that Anet just does not care only wants more money like StarCitizen.

The Druid seems really rushed with not really new mechanics, The CAF is nothing more than a recently scrapped Tome of Courage.
It’s just a marketing campaign to steal from WoW players with the healer thing, same as ranger was at the beginning.
But that does not mean i don’t want the ranger /druid to be a finished product.
That makes me feel sad and powerless. I don’t understand how there is people delusional enough to defend a company interests over their own.

Actually power druid is lame. The staff do the direct damage as the shortbow without the condi component.
Go with condi druid it will have more synergy. But you still have to use the staff that is a really weak weapon or you’ll waste most of the sustain and druid trait line.

I vote to make a minor to heal on hit with any weapon like the sigil of water.
Healing more in line of the Staff AA but trigger on hit.
That way 1/3 of the problems with the druid would be fixed for me. They can do with the staff whatever they want.

Most players are not aware but the highest dps build for rangers is Longbow Condi, A/D or A/T. and this build can compare about the same to an Ele burst combo/Guard just not require to be up close, and have allot of cleanse. even tho we can do this, rangers are still not liked in dungeons.

thought it was sinister A/T with quickdraw for bonfire and frost/sun spirit

A/D for PVP because of the extra evades and the poison direct application that is much better than an static fire i basically use for might.
I play a build like that and is useful in any game mode. Not like i saw anywhere just experimentation

This thread is too long to be read but anyway there we go:
Druid should get a minor that heal on hit with any weapon, same fashion as sigil of water.
Maybe less healing more in line of Staff AA but more frecuent like 75-100%

Would make the staff more relevant (not for much should be around 80HP) and if you play with other weapons you don’t lose the healer theme.
Also most of the traits are healing oriented so you don’t lose almost everything when swap weapons.

That depens on your actual power. If 7% of your power is greater than 150 then yes.
Keep in mind you have to keep the pet alive. If you can’t do it go with pack.

Ok damage with the staff is underwhelming, most of the players here agree with that.
So they end up, for what i read, the usual weapons and CAF as a healing source.
Which actually denies the ranger the ability ton heal himself and use most of the traits ins Druid.
if you need full heal you use the staff. Otherwise you still use your usual weapons and keep the healing theme.

BTW Longbow with the DragonHunter is perfectly fine actually much better than scepter. Indeed is not the ranger Longbow.

Tempest and DD i can’t say i didn’t tried them.

So that. The staff is underwhelming, and you have to waste your heal skill to recharge the CAf (celestial avatar form).
Also if you don’t use the staff are wasting almost the full spec.

I think would be positive if a minor would give healing on hit same way sigil of Water.
That could solve 1/3 of the problems with druid. What do you think?

My last game: 420k damage dealt. 470k recieved. 180k healing to allies. The build posted must be more tanky/healer oriented to get those heal numbers, such low damage numbers, and clearly the other team knew and didn’t want to hit him because of it haha

Don’t worry, Heimskarl Ashfiend.9582 already shared some.
After that i went to EoTM to test it. Well, you can make a group of 5 facetank any champion as long as you have at least 4 around you.
I don’t know if that is fun, i got bored looking at the screen. You have to stay still anyway if you want your wisps to be useful.

protecting a ram, you can sustain any ele attack as long as there are 3 around you. Even with CAF 2 fire eles.

Still that needs you to be still while spamming staff.

This is absurd. It is not the same thing at all. It would be like buying a meal at a restaurant and then 3 years later deciding that you don’t like the way the meal has been changed on the menu so you go back into the restaurant and demand the chef be fired. It’s that stupid.

Just waiting from Irenio’s answer about the disappointing druid and about fixes in the ranger.
And don’t care if he is bullied at the workplace, we need someone that can fix the ranger once for all.

I’m afraid that will be a long wait. This whole WHAO-business together with the limited time to get druid right (3 weeks) just shows how much care and attention is spent on ranger. The only time ranger really gets attention is when they need to nerf a skill that gave ranger a buff lol. There were some people in this thread saying that “we had them listening”. Apparently one dev even spent some time reading the posts till late at night. All I hear is nothing. “Words, words, words and the rest is silence.”

Then we should demand they have to change the lead developer.

We should ask for a right service and Irenio does not provide or in case Anet can not comply demand for a refund as Anet can not provide a full and rewarding service.

That guy obviously after the balance patch, the WHaO business and then this druid is just the most boring thing I’ve seen in a long time, it is not fitted to do the development of the ranger.
