Just came to give a shout and welcome to SF, our big bro, even if it’s late.

I have to say: I kinda of missed you guys. <3

It’s funny that was unmotivated to play wvw on the latest few weeks before you moved tier. But I got a morale booster, am more confident on my skills, and it’s nostalgic to meet you again.

Fighting SF again have been fun! Keep up the good fight like the one we just had over Greenlake, 20+ on each side fighting for the tower. Whoever finally killed me got a good xwp, I was alive for a moderate time in wvw. ; )

And on side note, whoever think that EB painted in green is bad, while we fought SF, I remember that once, they managed to paint the whole wvw map green. Even if it was painful for ET and FC, I have to congratulate and say that it’s epic.

Cooldown for changing WvW-map

Maybe that can work on high populations wvw servers, although I have my doubts, but that cooldown system can harm medium and low populations servers since they wouldn’t have enough players to cover all the maps during the cooldown period.

Great fight in HoD border near Redlake and the ruins against SOL and BS, VLK. Also, thanks for the duels, as I said, it helped me confirm that I have the right weapons to use against thief with my guard.

My thanks to the FC thief that also participated.

Great fight at EB, HoD!

I even checked the watch when HoD captured Langor, it was more than 20 minutes of fight with HoD pushing ET back to Langor and ET defending it. Eventually we lost the tower due to our lesser number plus the Valley defense and supply. But I’m sure we all had fun.

Dying Zones: A solution

What about Guild missions? Well, assuming you can now easily jump from overflow to overflow, it would make large guilds have more people joining for guild events (as those who are limited to guesting can still aid them). What if the overflow gets full of players then of said guild and other guild mates can’t join? Well, keep in mind, this system already exists (if there are too many players in one map they get put in an overflow) its just that the threshold for players is high enough to support many players in one map should that ever happen.

This is an actual problem. My guild ran a bounty and we got Ander “Wildman” Westward. Since the Southsun Cove story event is on, we left to do this one for last, assuming would be easier since we have a lot of farmers on the place. Conclusion: bounty failed because we got divided by the overflow.

I haven’t got overflow for the other bounties yet, but ET is a “small” server comparing to the others. So, at the very least, I think Anet should disable Ander “Wildman” Westward bounty until the Southsun Cove event finish or the overflow for Guild Missions are fixed.

Sadly we (all tiers) are dealing with issue of players not willing to listen, respect and obey commanders orders. I don’t mean small groups that are in tactical move, they are serving their purpose to create a distraction, take a camp, tower or something, but players in general.

Hopefully they will learn that we need to play as a team, that WvW requires team fight, tactics and effort. : )

Why Aren't There Any Dragons in WvW?

Well… the idea is to fight against other servers… not fight a Dragon while the enemy is taking away all your territory.

Wouldn’t be cool when SM inner gate is down and we are all stacking to rush inside when, suddenly, Tequatl appear right on top of SM and cause mass fear? lol

Guild Options in Party

If there is a thread that refer to the same topic, please link it out. Also, sorry in advance for duplicating.

In my humble opinion, I think the guild options should be removed from party options. I know that is easy to invite someone to the guild using it, but you can also kick your guild members by mistake. I have seen it happen, even I made that mistake a few days ago, and it causes a certain discomfort between us.

To avoid the accident kick, would be nice to have some kind of safety in case of the option continues in party, like a box asking to confirm if you want to kick the person from the guild or limit the guild invite and kick to be done only by the guild rooster.

Why still downed state in WvW?

I’m not opposed to downed state, but I think it need at the very least be fairer between all the classes. That said, in my opinion, Anet should remove the ranger skill to call their pet to heal, it’s an almost instant heal, or they need do something similar to all classes. Currently, it’s not fair that rangers can get out of downed state so easily while the only class that have one shot try to rally is the warrior.

Since we don’t have a rally party, I say to take the skill out and give something else to rangers in spvp and wvw.

Oh, ET is hitting FC border as well, believe me. I, myself, always roam their border with a couple of guild mates. But I have to say, it’s kinda of hard to even cap a camp when “Zerguson” are everywhere. Twice I came face to face with their commander and a small group of 8 people to defend one camp, let alone the towers.
