Do most buy their precursors off the TP?

I bought Tooth of Frostfang in January of this year. Gave up on waiting for a precursor drop

On a side note: At the time I had 5k+ hours of game play and 0 precursors when crafted Frostfang and yet still am counting, now is 6k+ hours with 0 precursors on record.

I don’t agree with any sort of immunity, everyone should have equal powers since there is no more host. However the kick system is broken.

There should be a rule for kick vote. One person to propose and another to second is not correct nor fair. It is democratic and fair if the notion is shared by the majority of players.

My suggestion is to change the kick vote depending on how many players compose a party:

Every single player in the party can see and vote for the kick, including the one that is being voted.

*Full or 4 members in the party: Once it is suggested for the kick, needs at least 3 positive votes (agreeing with the kick); if receives 3 negative votes, the player isn’t kicked from the party;

*Party with 3 players: Needs 2 positive votes for the kick or 2 negative to deny;

*Party with 2: No option to kick, only to leave the party.

Something needs to be done. Perhaps open a poll where you need 3 or more votes to be able to kick someone from party.

Definitely some people have been abusing of the new system. Sadly I fell for their schemes a few times. People are taking over parties, kicking everyone and doing as they bid without a care about the others. It sure gives you the sensation of being powerless when you and your friend, which created the dungeon party, are kicked from your kitten party when the last boss have less than 10% of HP because the other players felt their own guild mates deserved the rewards more than you, when in truth they wouldn’t even had made to the boss without your help…

Some people from my old guild, myself included, used to send cheap items to the members, specially one player, as joke. Besides that people already mailed me random stuff, players that I never saw before, but I always send them back. Blues, greens, rares, 2 exotics once and 10g. It is worth the mention the gold was sent more than year ago, before the dungeons revamp, when was incredible hard to hoard 100g.

Leaps Suck

Agreed, leap have been broken for a while, but seems after a patch many months ago, got worse. Sometimes I test how bad it can be with targets near edge, cliffs and almost 7/10 the leap goes wrong. Not to mention when the leap is canceled one second before hitting the target. For the warrior leap, sometimes they leap to the ground or even, I saw only twice tho, backwards.

Uncategorized Fractal is a ‘funny’ place to test that out and see our character leap off.

My last tragedy with the leap was in WvW, inside Garrison. Inner SW gate an archer started to snipe our omega so, since I was using a guardian and a bit far from the archer, I hit #3 to leap to get close and blind the archer but, instead, my character fell down, landing outside the keep. Since we were a small party, we had to abort the mission because I’d have to run all the way up to NW gate…

Dolyak Statue

Indeed, Anet decided to give a bonus instead of a reward as it happened in the past (Dolyak Finisher). With the reduction of the achievement and the final reward gives the impression this tourney focus was more towards individuals instead of server wide.

I’d like to see both happening tho. Be rewarded by your own commitment to WvW, a personal score, plus server dedication and placement overall.

They did not stated, however, how long the statue will remain available. Will be, at least, ironic if I miss my server reward because can’t access the game during the weekend, when I played every possible hour I could in WvW and claimed all my tickets.

What about the people who are polite and show a good degree of maturity? We just want information of what is the future of Gw2

Just look at this announcement, just a plain image with a date, that is just sad.

Actually if you look at the details of the image, will notice that is a new unexplored area. If Anet is trying to say anything with that image is that for the return of Living Story Season 2 a new area will be open.

I was more than content when I saw that. Do you know where is that map ‘portal’ located? I do! I’ve seen first hand before it was patched months ago and for sure am looking forward to check it out.

Two questions for a dev.

If you are a WvW veteran player then you know exactly why there are servers caps. Taking technology aside, what will stop people from flocking to the top 1 and 2 servers? It is known the tendency to do it, is happening since early days.

If anything, top servers should be locked down for undetermined period to encourage players to spread out more. Personally, I hope those servers keep their ‘full’ status even with the end of the tourney.

Why, instead of asking Anet to allow people to stack even more in the tier 1 servers and ask to lower tier servers to be scraped down, don’t you, your friend and guild, do the opposite and transfer to a lower tier server and help them out while being together?

It is the stacking mindset that made WvW imbalanced the way it is right now.

EDIT: Merge servers is a bad idea. I can’t fathom how people even dare to propose that. I hope all that do that, are aware that low tier servers can as well field 50-80 players during NA prime time right? So you are basically saying to merge 3 servers which can field at least 50 to another server which possibly can field even more during the same period of the day! Merge will fix nothing, only cluster and make a huge queue during NA prime time.

The forum log-in expires in 20 seconds. It is not enough time, perhaps if the time extended to 1 minute wouldn’t cause so much trouble. I usually have to try 3 to 5 times to log in the forums because the session expires way before I receive the authorization email.

As for the game client, I noticed that if I click to login but don’t authentic it by email, letting it expire, the game client password which was marked to remember disappears.

Do banned accounts count towards server pop?

The account is banned but not deleted. If one claims the account was hacked, wouldn’t be possible to restore the data from a deleted account. I’ve many accounts blocked for gold spamming, hacked accounts, which most, now, apparently the real owners, are in control of them.

About the blackout, as stated such thing doesn’t exist on GW2. I’ve told many times that if one needs proof, just check low pop servers you would clearly see the pop changing all the time, which isn’t true. Furthermore, Anet already stated they do maintenance on the servers from time to time where they manually adjust the cap.

Besides the ones that for some reason couldn’t log in GW2 during the week or weeks of the tournament, I can honestly say that I don’t understand why people are complaining.

I have to ask, those that are complaining, participated of seasons 1 and 2 as well? Because if you did, would remember the problem players had with the rewards and especially the tickets for season 2. A couple of weeks before this tourney and people still hadn’t received their rewards.

Anet didn’t find a way to fix the problem, hence why they gave every player 300 tickets for season 2. I am pretty sure they didn’t want the same issue to happen again, reason why players have to claim weekly for their tickets instead of having them delivered to us in a chest.

Someone said something about world bosses but remember that they give fixed loot while WvW is dynamic, it depends on your personal contribution plus the server weekly score.

You can get the boosters outside gem store. I have heaps of them, got from achievement chests.

From my 20 months playing WvW I can say that I can use the fingers of only one hand to count how many players I saw and fought against which were using boosters.

Honestly I don’t see a difference with using or not the boosters, with the gold sink WvW is, don’t think many players would spend their own money with boosters that only remains for 1h. I can agree that would be ‘unfair’ in a small scale fight as well as a duel, but the later can have their own rules if a consensus is reached.

Tequatl, loot and RNG

I have 50+ Tequalt events completed and, so far, the significant loot I got was 2 exotic pieces of armor, 1 ascended weapon chest and last week finally got the mini teq.

WvW and sPvP seem to be Anet’s Focus on this game now (PvE involves the LS releases – which take me 2-3 hours to complete ON AVERAGE – and SOME revamping of the bosses)

Ah no. Do you realize WvW didn’t had a significant change in over one year and that’s accepting EoTM as a part of the WvW system. Anet only promotes WvW tournaments when the Living Story is on a break.

Jormag's Claw Leechers / Champ farmers

These leechers drag mobs right into the middle to the golems when they change the side.

Do you realise where all the mobs spawned at the ledges will go if no one attacks them??

They are scripted to come down into the little valley to destroy the golems and attack the players. If players do not deal with these mobs the event will fail.

So, no one needs to ‘pull’ them down into the valley because they are scripted to go there!!

Honestly, I think it is unfounded the complains. If want to do something to the event, anet should revamp every world boss and make people destack and actually play, dodging from AoE, cleansing conditions.

As long as the champs are busy fighting the ‘farmers’ they aren’t downing and killing people in the middle of the path to the boss as I have seen so many times before. A few are complaining about how long takes to kill Claw of Jormag, I’ll tell you it is way shorter than before the megaservers. You think 10 min to kill a boss is too much? If can’t give 10 min for that, might as well skip the boss and go to the next one that will spawn during the fight.

To conclude, let me ask something, among all the complains, when was the last time you saw Claw of Jormag fail? If the ones killing champs were actually contributing to make the event fail, I’d agree to remove the loot bags, but in truth that is not happening.

Use Dry Top style rewards for EoTM

With the population unbalances, meaning green usually have more people than the other colors, that would turn out to be a real issue. If green dominates entirely a match up, only they will be able to enjoy such rewards. In order to add such mechanics to EoTM, need to, first, deal and fix the lack of balance between the colors.

why won't Maguma drop rank faster?

Because of the server rating. Maguuma isn’t losing enough rating to drop several tiers, the server will pass through all possible tiers until Glicko stabilize. The current rating puts Yak’s Bend at position of number 6 and Maguuma 7, in other words if wasn’t for the tourney, YB would go up to tier 2 and Mag drop to tier 3. However even if Mag don’t have the population to keep up on tier 3 or 4, still might take several weeks before the server drops even further.

Last week ranting:
6th Maguuma 1 710.716
7th Yak’s Bend 1 685.418
8th Dragonbrand 1 659.511

This week predicted rating so far:
6th Yak’s Bend 1 697.106
7th Maguuma 1 696.790
8th Dragonbrand 1 676.668

Mag needs to keep scoring negatively, by at least -20k, on the next match up, assuming DB don’t lose ranting as well, in order to swap ranks between them.

So braces yourselves and try to enjoy a bit the drop race, which I heard can be quite painful.

Please Remove Map Completion from PvP Areas

And to the person who doesn’t believe that I captured SM on ET, that is fine. You can believe whatever you want, but it did happen. Heck you can ask people on ET that SM does indeed get captured from time to time and is NOT an impossible feat like people make it out to be.

Sure SM does get captured from time to time, just not by my server. Unless you have a concrete plan on how just 1 player, with only 2 hours to play each day due to real life responsibilities, can change his entire server to be a WvW god, I suggest you stop giving such advice.

That marked on the text is exactly your problem. Unless you want to wait for players capture objectives and then run to them without offering help, you can’t do it by yourself, such mindset doesn’t exist in WvW unless you play on a low tier server where you can solo towers and even keeps sometimes.

You have to be part of the ‘community’, you have to mingle yourself with the WvW players and I am not talking about shouting in map chat that you need a certain PoI because I can tell that most commanders will ignore it, but if you are active, trying to be helpful, I am sure once giving time you will get what you need to finish map completion.

The most common problem is that people leave WvW map for last, which is a huge mistake. You should map WvW while mapping PvE as well. Hop in for 30 min or one hour then go back to PvE, always check your server situation, which objectives are being held. If done this way, you will pretty much finish both maps at the same time or perhaps will need a couple of weeks or so finish WvW still.

On the topic that low pop servers have no chance into taking objectives, I will say that is inaccurate. With a bit of effort, tactic, skirmish and organization of a group you can accomplish that. Yes, I speak of experience. I got my map completion at the worst period possible during the old fixed match ups where ET would be paired with FC and SF and the later would dominate all 4 maps and yet spawn camp us.

For the record, check on Friday how are things in WvW. There are many servers that runs k-trains, which can benefit you, as well as reset when all is chaotic and paper, that’s when you have higher chances.

Solution to fix the population imbalance

Smaller servers are their own meta. Same way higher tier servers are another.

Reality is that balance in smaller tier servers and their player activity IS the problem. You can look at the 10 pages of post here and the complaints are ALL from people in lower tiers. And the truth of the matter is that if as solution is to be applied it would happen to the community as a whole not just those smaller servers. I dont get how a large people in lower tiers have complained about how WvW is an issue for them but keep ignoring the one element they all share (low populations in lower tier servers).

A better handicap would be great but then again what do you base it on? using GLICKO rating is terrible as shown by cases like Magumma and SoR who were on higher rating for months than what they trully were. Sever population numbers are just as terrible as not all players in a server accurately represent the active WvW comminity. Also how significant should the handicap be? is it a constantly shifting algorithm that changes with every possible transfer? Should you intead get static matchups so that servers only fight the 3 closest to them in numbers? then youll complain about how boring it is…

while it is true that consolidation is not an absolute solution it is a start.

You don’t get it because you don’t want to see it. Inst because the servers are low pop that means they are balanced. Two low pop servers can have a huge disparity on how many players they are fielding, it is unbalanced, it is as simple as that.

Since we are talking about this, you are praising the JQ/BG/TC match ups but I reckon TC not long ago was complaining how both JQ and BG outmanned them…
So even on your Tier 1, which you consider the ideal model, have problems with balance. Want a prove? Check your latests match up, you will see the unbalaces where TC was ticking for +465 when BG was ticking for +65. If that doesn’t show you that even on your so stacked servers the matches are far from being balanced, I honestly don’t know what can.

Honestly, the stack is the big main factor of why WvW is the way it is. I’ve seen guilds transfer to lower tiers, they could field 20+ alone plus a few pugs that would join them and a few weeks or months later would transfer to another tier complaining there are no real fights.

The problem is, there are more than enough fights in a lower tier server but the stack mentality, in a way, ruins it. If the tier you are fighting against can summon a max of 15 to defend their border but you insist to bring 25-30 and blob all, of course won’t find a fight until their main zerg hop borders to crush you.

Those guilds could very well adapt to the situation and unstack, play more tactically, create a few squad groups and split up with different objectives between them and still being each others backup if a situation arise. Would be more efficient and for sure more balanced during fights until backups are called from each side. Instead they keep transferring from server to server trying to find one that fits their play style and eventually quit the game.

Humor: Friendly fire would, no doubt, fix the stack problem. :P

I don’t know how people still believe in server blackout. If such thing existed, ET would be a very low pop instead of what it is right now…

Anyway, people transfer in and out all the times that’s when a spot is open. Besides Anet already stated that from time to time they tweak the server cap to add more spots and raise the numbers if it is needed. Just keep checking.

No, just no. At least not as long as PvE and WvW shares the same system. The maps are small enough for the zergs which have 100% of uptime swiftness, don’t need to add more to their already good mobility.

Besides, if you are only mapping what is the problem in using a signet, utility or a trait? The only professions that really suffers with mobility are guardian and mesmer. Still guardian can use Save Yourselves, but mesmers only have Signet of Inspiration which can or not give swiftness.

I don’t think it is a violation of the ToS. The app uses the official API released by Anet plus the company is promoting a contest over this kind of app.

It is not much different from what we see and use from Mos Millenium and GW 2 Score, one could point out the extra resources like siege and and damaged wall and/or gate. However it is a pen and paper style, one person have to fill up all the information, would be same as you make a doc about what you have of siege and upgrades in your border then share the link with the server.

I think, perhaps, the only concern about it is the prospect to grief since anyone could supply or change the information about siege placement and damage to gate and walls. A way to increase the security level would make the information displayed more trustworthy and incentive more players to use it in my opinion.

Kicked from low population map?

I just think people are spoilt now.
If you play a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game,you must have in mind that you are going to play with…well…a lot of people.
If you dont want to,you shouldn’t play it,its simple.
In the last 2 days people are picking every single reason to complain on the forums,you know…“just because”.

Also,I can’t think about any MMORPG that let the player be alone in a instance,GW2 and GW1 are the only games where you actually have an option to play alone.

I repeat,I can’t think of any other MMORPG that creates a instance for the player and actually give him an option to play alone if they want to (even if for 1~ hour before they move you to a more populated server,and even so you actually don’t fight for mobs or KS,maps rarely have people in the same area as you,unless you are doing an event.

I am out of this discussion btw,there is no point,I already gave my opinion on this subject.
“MMORPG” and “I want to play Solo,I can’t breath with players around me” just don’t fit.

So every time I go play a MMO I have to expect to play in a map crowded with people, laggy, cluttering and low fps? No, thank you, but no.

People are spoiled because they want to actually be able to play the game?
Well I will tell you that between been impossible to play in map because of lag and low fps, encounter zergfests everywhere spamming 1111111 and not being able to enjoy my game play, I’d rather quit the game. What is the point of keep playing like that?

World Bosses are terrible enough as they are now. What is the fun to be part of a zergball auto attacking while your fps drops to 20 or lower and you have no clue of what is going on? Is that what we should expect from all MMO’s as well?

Boost Defense or see the death of wvw

Personally I have already been in a defense with another person against 40. We had tons of siege covering every spot to counter and in the end kept the keep? Yes, but I can assure you that only happened not because we had siege and defended but because the offensive forces gave up and went to PvDoor our border instead.

Two people can only delay the capture of the keep, can’t avoid it unless the other players go elsewhere due to boredom.

They tried 3 attacks, blobbing a gate, we had a counter for all siege they tried to use, but if they had used a real tactic as splitting up their numbers or kept a constant attack to the keep, sooner or later the gates/walls would go down and they would be the winners.

Two or three players can’t defend and flip camps, escort dolyaks, repair the gate or wall or both that are damaged, rebuild siege, so obviously the keep will run out of supply which will benefit the offensive forces. That’s how you capture a t3 keep, isn’t bashing a blob head against a gate, but with proper tactic and time. With that in mind, if you were able to “defend” a keep with 2 or 3 people wasn’t because of siege, but because the other server didn’t wanted to put effort into taking the keep and decided to withdraw to more simpler tasks, which usually works well since many think 2 hours or more fight for a keep is a waste of time.

Actually, many “vets” should probably make new character and go through new tutorials (from my ingame experience).

So yeah, theres that.

It is not a tutorial, just a lock down. The day Anet actually care about making tooltips with a better, cohesive, text in a way the players need to take their time to learn content, things will change.

Besides, those vets and any other player won’t learn absolutely nothing about their classes as long as they can and will level up almost entirely in EoTM by pressing 1 and F or even with experience scrolls.

Certainly a good change for WvW, it is a step in the right decision.

On the other side: RIP Kittens! Urban Battlegrounds Fractal at level 49 and 50 will need another strategy besides bannering the kittens to use them as a meat shield when the Captain Ashym go into frenzy with that sexy FGS. Nerf plz!

Ok, since Anet don’t consider the current prices as work of an insider trader then how about put some soft cap and make things at least reasonable? Simple exotics being sold for 300g, 400g, 500g is non sense. How come they cost half the price or so of a precursor?

Where is the control over the market to not become abusive?

The item price have been fluctuating over the year, the selling price during August was ~70g and 100g-ish. The current price for said product is over 600g. That’s clearly an abuse.

I am all for trying different builds and gear set in PvE, dungeons included but the real problem is: PvE and WvW uses the same system. Every change Anet does in PvE, affects and hurts WvW.

Raw damage, berserker, is the effective way to speed run dungeons;
Condition is inefficient for speed run dungeons, slow the process;

Condition is the most effective way to play WvW nowadays;
Being a berserker is a good way to counter conditions, getting the player down as soon as possible before they unleash tons of conditions on you.
Anet nerfs raw damage, people try different alternatives, more efficient, to counter conditions like certain classes and builds and even more conditions.

Honestly, the same way the berserker meta can be a hindrance for PvE, the condition meta can be for WvW and yet Anet keep tweaking, pushing people even more towards it. Will be forever unbalanced if they don’t separate PvE from WvW and that would be just the beginning.

What happened to Anet saying months ago, perhaps 1 year ago that they wanted to make GW2 more alt friendly? Seems all they are doing since then is the opposite of that statement.

The content is overwhelming for new players? Yes, for a first MMO it can be, but it is not raising the cap level that will fix this.

The game needs a proper tutorial, an instance like any other RPG game have it, need to make concise explanation of things, this game lacks of it, the UI is bad. The instance can very well explain weapon skills, combos, utilities, combat, dodge and everything else.

It is not putting such hindrance and stress over players that will ensure they will learn, quite the contrary. Most of the times what is stopping players of learning is themselves, they don’t need to read, don’t need to learn, the way they play and auto attack are more than sufficient to level up and kill champs on the maps with the trains.

Anet shows how much they are are worried about new players, but honestly, the people they are trying to aim and please, plays this game for a few months and quit, it has been since the release the game. The ones that are buying things on TP, supporting the game, aren’t new players, are the veteran players that Anet have been ignoring so far.

The difference is so small it is absolutely not a good call to make ascended gear and spending so many golds only to do WvW.
You can’t deny that and say it is false.

You think it is not enough for the process you need go through to craft it. Although if it is small or not, it is a bolster, period. Besides, works more than just WvW, you can use it whenever you want minus PvP.

If you think there is no reason at all to have ascended, it is your personal opinion. Now, let the others come to the conclusion if the 5% booster is enough for them to craft or not.

After playing this game for more than 1 year, at some point will see yourself with plenty of mats to craft something. Not only that, but can also be something to aim for in game. Legendary? Check. Ascended? Check. Dungeon Master? Check and so on.

To conclude, my last post about this matter. I won’t derail the topic with ascended talk. Ascended has been around for about 10 months now, people should be used to it by now.

If you pay attention, I never stated as a requirement. All I said it is a good call. You can’t deny that and say it is false. For certainly helps if your party will do a 5v7,8 or so fight, the party skills, traits, plus gear are bolsters. Simple as that.

And you HAVE TO HAVE full set of dungeon/ascended armor in GW2 because?

How do you progress in WoW without grinding same dungeons/raids over and over again? How do you get that gear that you HAVE TO HAVE if you dont run dungeons/raids at all?

A full ascended set in WvW, which is end content by the way, makes difference. If a person wants a better experience of that game mode without relying on big groups, ascended is a good call.

When someone talks about dungeon tokens, now with wardrobe they want the skin, but I am pretty sure they want the tokens for the variety of stats. They don’t need to HAVE to have, but they need to have in case want to try different builds, which require different gear stats. I am one of those that likes to try different builds from time to time to try to optimize my experience as a player. Now where do I get the gear I need? Dungeons of course, if I don’t want to pay to craft them.

So as you can see, it is not just as you said HAVE TO HAVE. There is a purpose behind it.

I would like a more challenging end content for PvE as well. Before the introduction of megaservers, I used to solo champs or duo with a friend and at the time that was enough to entertain us, but now with the maps full and people farming everywhere, it is almost impossible and discouraging to see people pressing 1 in a rush before the “zerg” melt the champs in a few seconds. Now if I want a challenge go duo AC and HoTW exploration or even CoE story but still I think it is due time the game introduce something different than Living Story.

A challenge for the wvw community

Is sPvP players better (skill wise)?
Not necessarily. They will be better at an individual level, and they will certainly be better in smaller number when you add an objective into the mix. However in terms of sheer ability to cooperate in order to kill the enemy, wvw players are more likely better

Some weeks ago when I went to WvW noticed people talking in map chat that there was a group of pvp players, all of them with dragon finish, running amuck, harassing the militia.

Those players were scared of course, they had beaten them a few times and their finisher says they are hardcore pvp players so they were giving position about said group and how to avoid them. That’s when I asked my party to rally because we would take the fight to that pvp group, a proper 5v5.

Conclusion: One of us was spiked during the battle while we spiked them all. We had 4 standing victorious in the end.
They tried to use pvp tactics against us, which didn’t worked quite well. We used our small roaming squad tactics against them and was more than enough to counter theirs.

Servers Tanking Before Tournament

I’d personally rather be spanked bad by a zerg 24/7 than play like that. But even if you prefer the alternative, there is no debate about it being pretty bad and sad and, most of all, unsustainable.

Would you really? Can you say the same for your new server or even old one? Can you say the same for the majority of players? Can you say for sure the server that goes to Gold will remain as they are and won’t suffer from it?

It is pretty obvious that the servers tanking are concerned about their base players and community. It is a high stake, if the community is really tight, they can survive the upcoming stomp; if not they will dissolve just like as it happened to so many servers in the past, which some haven’t been able to recover since then.

I think it is safe to assume that at this point the majority plays this game for fun and there is so much fun you can find being spawn camped and have 0 belongings in all 4 maps besides discouraged players. The server that have the lead, will probably maintain their PvE players at least until they finish their achievements, more advantage for them. The same won’t happen to the server that is being dominated though.

It is easy to say those servers are doing a disservice tanking while sitting in higher grounds. Let their own community decide and do whatever they want and think is best for them, because they are the ones that holds the knowledge about it, if they are structured enough for hardships or not and not someone from outside.

Anyway, as it says the other topic: Don’t bother merging servers, it won’t fix any lack of coverage, will only create headache for NA prime time players.

High rank servers have, small, but it is a fact they do, have queues still. Why people want to stack servers and have 2h queue again is beyond me. The 2h you spend sitting to play WvW, if you play on a low pop server, is way less compared the time you will take to find a good fight. I’d rather play on a low pop server and know I can go to WvW any time I want than wait 2h to be able to play.

Let me see if I understand:

You complain about Zergs and population and yet play on the 2nd most stacked server on NA;

Also complain about not changing colors, which have happened, perhaps not frequently, but the fact is that it did happened;

You insult your own server mates and yet expect them to do all the job for you because you need those 2 PoI’s;

You complain can’t take objectives because of zergs and yet you use your own server mates to spawn camp;

You complain once again about objectives and yet instead of taking matter into your own hands and discussing with the community about it, you decide to be a troll and take the players to spawn camp for your own amusement;

You say WvW doesn’t require skill, well if didn’t, I am sure you could just solo whatever you want because you got the skillz, right?

You spent an awful number of hours in PvE with boring quests and hearts for map completion, but can’t give your time for the endgame content.

Well then, after analyzing all this, perhaps if you are not willing to buy your own legendary, you are not worthy of one. Your server color doesn’t seem to be the issue here…

Even if some people from ET think merge servers can be good due to the current state of the server, I am pretty sure the majority is against it.

The fact is the threads about low population and server merges were not created by low tier server players. It is manly made by high tier servers players using lower tiers as a escape goat to fix their coverage problem.

Right now there are no blobs outside of t1. The largest groups are around 30 man SoS zergs which only are spotted at prime time.

That sounds off, unless you mean multiple zergs of 30 man, like 5 or so. Otherwise I will tell you that a t7 server, Ehmry Bay, can field way more than just 30 during NA prime time.

About the topics, right now there is next to no queues anymore, if you merge servers, will be back to the 1h or more queues. There are lots of NA prime time players scattered across the 24 servers, if you put them all into 9 servers, yeah hello queue. Merge servers won’t ensure there will be way more people playing during EU, OCx or SEA time to avoid PvD. The only thing can be know for sure is that NA prime time will be overpopulated.

Is the game crashing a lot recently?

20 months playing this game and the game client crashed about 3 times, however since latest patch, the game client crashes at least 2 times per day and gives the option to send the report to anet. Besides that getting disconnected a lot in game, showing people of my friend list on and off, yet my game was working normally, which I thought it was a problem with the friend list per see until a friend told me to stop logging on and off .

Not only experiencing the crashes and disconnects in game but also LA is taking way longer to load and been lagging a lot since Living Story season 2 got live.

I understand your reply, but thought about giving a little warning, since one could misunderstand and be under the impression they would have the power to change the color of the tag later and, if doesn’t happen, could blame you for that. Have to say it is a high risk investment you are suggesting because:

“Players who have already unlocked at least one commander tag will get the blue tag for the whole account.”

It doesn’t state you can choose additional colors if have more than 1 tag and it is unlikely that Anet will announce since players would just rush and buy 5 tags now. So, you are under the risk of losing all the gold if Anet stick with refund only not giving the option to pick a color.

It seems to me that there is a camp of people who are anti-SAB and a camp of people who are pro SAB. And some people in the anti-SAB camp have stated that they hope SAB never sees the light of day again because it takes away precious development time from other aspects of the game that they feel are significantly more important.

SAB wasn’t a waste of resource, the mode was used as a test ground for performance and future content. Anet was gathering information while we played it. People can’t claim that was a waste since it was indeed a tool to improve the game. Have ever compared SAB with Bazaar of the Four Winds? All the jumps, including tricky ones and the achievements for collecting all the baubles (crystals)?

Nowhere and they certainly won’t discuss this matter now. It is all speculation.

Though if they are talking about refunds, leads to believe everyone will have the same old blue tag, because they won’t give a chance to choose the color, they would rather give the gold back if you have bought 4 tags or more due to the new price.

We will only know for sure on September 9th.

It’s 300g for an account bound Commander Tag. The color choice is simply icing.

Now if they don’t offer a way for duplicates to pick a different color then I’m disappointed.
