1. Right-click targeting is frustrating when trying to move your camera. Please add a way to disable it.
2. Classes still seem imbalanced. I realize this is a work in progress, but a patch dedicated to this would make me a very happy camper.
3. Town clothes options as skins for armor. I’d love to have glasses 24/7 on my character(s).
4. RNG is a cruel mistress. I’ve had one amazing day in the past 6 months, while some people seem to trip over precursors/exotics/t6 mats every day.
5. WvW has no incentive for someone who despises the zerg mentality. Other than being a feww loot bag for your enemies, there’s not much point to enter wvw unless you plan on joining the mindless zerg.
6. Add event timers to zone events. Would be so nice to not have to sit around 45 minutes for SB/Maw to spawn at the last possible second of its window.
7. Easier dungeons/dungeon paths as options. I like playing with my friends, not hardcore min/max pugs. Just because one is less efficient than the other doesn’t mean some dungeons should be upright impossible based on the people you bring.
8. Add new low level dungeon to replace AC’s pre-update position. I honestly miss helping friends level through AC runs, and now with the new AC, it’s a problem that was moved from difficult trash to difficult bosses. Die on trash? No big deal, try again or just run pass/avoid it. Die on a boss? Gotta restart the 5-10 minute ordeal again. :\ Kohler is still not visible enough on his tells due to the loud graphics on player spells and mob effects.
9. Option to turn off other players models/graphics/spells/everything. I don’t need flying horses and popcap whizbangs and blue fire immersing a mob that I’m trying to discern the tiny little shout/shine/whatever animation to let me know "Hey, this next attack is gonna hurt or knock you down or something. Also, I prefer to see mobs hammering on me than some guy not in my party/guild. Why prioritize loading players first?
10. Drop rates. Still pretttttty low to argue that farming is not necessary. DR doesn’t particularly help, and magic find randomly seems to work?
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
As said before, the problem isn’t with berserker’s gear, it’s that everything else pales in comparison. If condition damage was competitive, rampager’s gear would be what everyone complains about.
Build diversity would help if all the on-crit effects were just fair and random procs, but then min/maxing would bend towards weapons that had multiple hits, and 20% recharge reductions on weapons would be the new meta.

I run each character through world 1 while digging just enough to have 500 baubles by the hedge maze in zone 3. 6 bubbles for the daily chests plus 2 from the converted baubles.
Got about 3 skins so far, hanging on to them.
Got pretty good at getting through world 2 zone 1, and I appreciate the sneak peek, but just one bubble at the end while you have a full bag of baubles isn’t worth more than to plan your attack for when SAB comes back. >:)
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Instead of nerfing the one dungeon that has a reasonable time/risk/reward ratio, how about we bring the other dungeons up to speed?
(PS, HoTW is hilariously easy with anything that can inflict constant crippling/chilled, maybe even easier than CoF)
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
The problem is that there’s no reason to wear anything other than berserker gear.
You go in to dungeons/fractals/group events and get hit by a stray … whatever…. you die. Full toughness/vit gear? You die. Why? Because the ‘difficulty’ in GW2 is synonymous with ‘kitten hits really hard, learn to dodge’. Having Champions hit like that with one-shot abilities and have hp bars as long as ‘War and Peace’ only backs this up.
Might as well hedge your bets and take something down with before you screw up your dodges, better chance to rally as well…
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Wow, kinda sucks for anyone that wanted the minipet not because its rarity, but because well…. bunnies?
No bunny from SAB was kinda a disappointment as well.

I think i got best luck here with 1 key drop from mobs and just take ticket
Same thing happened to me last night at around the same location. I got a key off of a random zombie during the packheart escort from caer shadowfain on my zero magic find warrior and got a fused weapon ticket for free. I have never bought keys before.
Now I just have to decide if I want the greatsword for the warrior or the dagger for my ele. I never bothered thinking it through because of how they are attained, I just wrote all the skins off as unattainable.
KEYS STILL DROP FROM MOBS?
News to me, I can wear enough magic find to choke a horse and have 1 t6 mat to show from an hour of farming. >:C
Edit: 30 or so keys, finally got 1 ticket.

I’ve noticed streaks of dead space in gear with and without magic find, and I can’t figure out why this consistently happens.
Go out to farm, have an initial burst of good will drops, then nothing for about 10 minutes, then back to occasional drops, then greys and nothing until you leave.
Drop rates just need to be raised across the board, because RNG certainly isn’t working right.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
5 vials in 138 fractals completed.
Still only at fractal level 12 or so because well, skill and my friend’s skill. Guild is very casual…
I gave up on fractals. RNG sucks. There’s a guy in the other thread bragging about how many vials and everything he gets, and he is/was in my current guild. Makes me want to quit seeing some people so lucky while I’m forced to drag by with next to nothing.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
If people are ‘cheesing’ content, it’s because they don’t want the level of difficulty the game is providing. It’s either too hard/time consuming/repetitive after the 100th time to bother doing it the preferred way.
I honestly don’t blame them. Some parts of AC got a lot better with the remake, others are tenfold worse. Staying at range with the spider queen makes her fairly easy (read: not worth exploiting) though.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
I absolutely suggest you try soloing it. It’s not hard, by any means, and does not take that long. Just make sure you clear everything past the first gate.
I’ve also had my mists drop on the final event when the Shaman is doing the ritual, so keep that in mind.
Perhaps I need more information, because I certainly wasn’t able to kill a single mob past the Siegemaster, and certainly can’t spam VoJ.
More insight on your weapon/traits perhaps?
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
I hope you’re correct, OP. Some of us (still) have pretty bad RNG, and others don’t know how good they have it. I’d love a guaranteed way that effort = reward instead of relying on the fickle kitten of lady luck.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
I gave up on fractals because of the RNG. Got up to fracts 18 or so, and I have 5 vials, only had one ring drop from maw (not useful for my fractals character) and it was just too painful to bother with with a group of semi casuals.
I’m 25 tokens short of getting the backpack and I. Just. Don’t. Care.
I think out of all those runs I could count the number of yellows I received on both hands.
If i’m going to have kitten RNG, I might as well fight things that are easier, like world events.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Yeah.
I don’t believe that you could only find 1 single barrel. I think you’re using a bit of hyperbole to try and make a point.
I’m an officer of Iridiana’s Guild.
We don’t care if you believe it or not as it is what actually happened.
To be more precise some of us kept searching for him for another 5-6 minutes after the Bounty Training end, without finding other barrels.
By the way, searching in the forum it seems that there’s also a bug that makes Sotzz disappear just a couple of seconds after you find him, making him very tricky to complete successfully.
This exact same situation happened to our guild last night. Totally understand your frustration, don’t get too discouraged by the haters on here that automatically assume its player error.

- WvW Skins prices equalized because they’re skins and not gear.
- WvW drop rates increased, badge drop rates increased.
- Ghost eater fixed to not go full kitten for 5-10 minutes after you activate a trap.
- DE removed. Dungeon tokens and money will always give 60/26 on completion.
- Path one of every dungeon retuned to be on par with CoF path 1, Path 2 and 3 of all dungeons are now intermediate and hard, and have had their loot scaled up to compensate.
- PvE mobs now count condition stacks per player PvP/WvW remains as normal.
- Option to turn on superculling, making it so you see no other player models outside of your party/guild, because seeing monsters that are killing you and having a decent experience at Jormag is probably more important to you than that guy with the unicorn bow.
- More weapon options for all classes.
- Healing power scaled up.
- Precursor drop rate increased
- Core drop rate increased.
- Sotzz removed from the game, influence refunded to guilds who failed bounties because of Sotzz.
- More options for smaller guilds.
- Death of zerg vs zerg mentality
- Super Adventure Box team given huge raises and non-passive-aggressive cookie bouquets and encouraged to make more content and keep the awesome amount of feedback on the forums.
- Magic find works now.

Two weeks in a row on Tier 1, failed both times. :C This —really-- hurts as a smaller guild.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Personally? I’d look into the effects of orb incentives as such.
0 orbs: No repair cost until your server retains an orb.
1 orb: Reduced teleport cost
2 orbs: +Magic find, plus previous +orb bonus.
3 orbs: +WXP/XP gain, plus previous +orb bonuses.
This not only encourages losing servers to get in there and play, but also gives incentive to defending and attacking orbs. I doubt increased wxp/xp gain would be too overpowered, since their effects are not that enticing in the first place.
It would balance the risk and reward.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Only change it if there is a PvE equivalent offered. We honestly need more guild management abilities that the commander title helps alleviate somewhat.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Because this goes against Anet’s group philosophy. They never want a situation to arise where a player sees a group event and is hesitant to join in for fear of being reprimanded by those already there who will now be faced with debuffs or diminished returns or anything like that because someone joined late.
Why? This already happens in pre-events to Shatterer and other certain situations. A simple mission that one person can finish in 3 minutes gets scaled terribly due to 50 people hanging about and now takes 30 minutes to complete.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Failed our bounties this week, had about 16 people.
First attempt: Group A and B find and kill their bounty, Group C and D can’t find their bounty in Gendarran Fields (barrel guy… 300 spawn points!… >:C ) Found only one clickable barrel that 3 minutes before the time limit only said that it looked suspicious and that was all. No activate or anything on it.
Second attempt: A and B find their bounty, C and D find their bounty (timberline falls?). AB kills theirs, joins CD. CD bounty starts one shotting everyone in the area, people wandering by join in, makes it worse, it’s impossible to pick up the sparks without being one shot, can’t kill boss because people wandering by won’t leave long enough for us to throw sparks at the robot. Boss despawns after 10 minutes. Mission failed.
SOOOO we do a guild bounty training in hopes to salvage the night. 5 players, no big deal right? Blazeridge Steppes, we send the players to different map points, and search along the path. Mob just doesn’t exist. Looked for the 15 minutes plus another 10 after we failed. Still didn’t find her…
This is just disheartening and not particularly fun.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
1UP
Even with the limited version we have available, the key points of a successful event are present. Accessibility to everyone, loot via RNG AND effort and so forth…
Honestly I just like the change of pace from doom and gloom and crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of … you get the point.
Simple and fun, and it benefits you fairly in the game.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
We are using the tried and true maxim: “10 – bauble, 20 – bunny”.
Well that makes my day!
1 in 5 vs 1 in 4, not that far off.
(Please add a bunny minipet or combine all to make queen bee dog!)
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
I’m going to start this off completely bluntly that this is an assumption. An educated assumption but still, a complete shot in the dark.
Chance to receive a bauble randomly on dig: 10%
Chance to uncover a bunny: 10%
Simply put, bauble is critical win, bunny is a critical loss.
Good thing I love bunnies. (And of course, guaranteed bauble dig spots!) Cause seriously I dig up them cute little suckers 1 out of 4 uses – and that’s being generous.
I’m sincerely hoping that the dev team is using the info from SAB for ulterior purposes. After the whole Karka event/loot drop rate problem I want to believe SAB is a subtle way to gather this essential data in a vacuum and see what bugs pop up.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Honestly it feels nostalgic…. I kind of want to say something obvious like Castlevania/Indiana Jones Lucasarts games/Pitfall but I can’t put my finger on it…
Besides, all the other ‘weapons’ have a secondary purpose other than what is listed, though I haven’t found anything for Moto’s Breath or the Slingshot yet…
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Personally, 72 chests, 0 skins.
Friend has run 72 chests and received 2.
Guildie ran one with us, received 1 so… Add another 1:3 in there.
Its always the same characters/people that have the luck… :/
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
You can stand under the boss’s chin to avoid the tongue (though you should be throwing a crystal instead).
You can just click the boss’ face to target the crystal throw.
You can hop back to the grey stones to avoid the big stomp.
But yeah. watching his eyes (wow dem eyebrows!) telegraphs most everything.

World 2 Zone 1:
Before the long thin bridge you can wander around to the right and down and around the cliffside, at the end there’s a 50 stash.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Honestly I’d like the ‘Nameplate only’ option in PvE. I don’t care what people look like when I’m out farming or doing events. I want a consistent framerate and to be able to see when mobs spawn. I don’t really care seeing things that can’t kill me if I miss the ‘easily-clouded-by-flashy-spell-effects’ wind up the 3 champions are starting.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
As long as it’s not a timed JP, I have hope for the Super Adventure Box. Timed JP’s are just too much stress and pressure. Not. fun. at. all.
Honestly I just want to walk away from this with a greatsword skin, and if it’s fun, well…. bonus.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
I’d love to see them do something minuscule in combat, whether a passive 1% buff or even healing you while you’re downed (outside of pvp of course) or maybe even casting abilities on mobs for little or no damage. Just for the looks would be cool.

72 hour build time for a consumable event? Urgh… I can’t even finish building all the bonuses to pop on weekends in time to keep the players we currently have representing.
You might say, “Well, if you have the influence to build all the bonuses, you don’t need guild bounty training.” but we don’t earn 30k influence a week without player donations and having bonus weekends… Still don’t have trek/rush unlocked because of the dumb long build times (that we can’t afford to speed up) and the exorbitant costs.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
One berserker’s ring from AC EXP chest Pre-Nov
One from wintersday dungeon chest, random speargun of the whatever. :\
Two from the new revamped world boss chests. Fixer-Upper from The Maw and Kenshi’s Wing from Fire Elemental.
Makes me want to give a stern talking to the people hating on the new world chests, considering I didn’t get more than a rare a month between November and February.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
We have a group dedicated to farming CoE and giving all our cores for one person to work on their legendary.
The reasons no one goes to CoE:
- You have to event unlock it. When is it available? WHO KNOWS?!
- The event is long, and the Champion at the end can and will reset if you don’t have enough people due to his teleport and that he can knock you off in to the water with no way to re-engage.
- Subject Alpha is very unforgiving on almost all his fights. You miss a dodge? Welp game over. No one can res you without an instant ability because he spams all day.
- It’s long. It’s full of bosses with big humongous oversized hp bars. Timed events and/or task completion events make it go even slower.
- Subject Alpha is a kittening jerk.
- Meh rewards. We maybe get one core/stone per run between all 5 of us on average.
Seriously, after putzing around for 30-45 minutes to complete the event to open the place up, half the time I don’t even want to run it anymore because I know it’s going to be another hour long ordeal that just isn’t worth the time.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
The story bits the refugees give you for returning their items are actually pretty interesting. But then, you probably shouldn’t be spending your limited time doing content called ‘Living STORY’ if you’re not gonna read any of it.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
How about we get a cheaper guild-only version of commander, or better yet, just let us be able to see all guildies on the map (perhaps with a different color than party members)?
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Helping manage a what I would call ‘medium’ guild of a constant 10-20 online constantly, this content is a bit harsh. Being forced to run a logistics nightmare of coordinating 15 people every week with the prospect of maybe in 3 months we’ll be able to do jumping puzzles, which is the only guild content they wanted in the first place.
It was sad telling them that we had to research at least 3 time and content-locked events before we could even access the JP’s. A good handful of the guild lost all motivation to do anything beyond the first kill of tier 1 bounty because that’s where their rewards are, now that their jp’s were put out of reasonable reach.
Of course, we still have a scant few willing to finish the content for the greater good, but really… why do we have to deal with a system like this in which we have to carry other players at risk of them hopping to bigger guilds?
tl:dr – JP stuck behind excessive gating for no reason other than to extend content.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Protip: Cultural tier 1 gear is lv 35, yellow and has great stats for your first dungeon run.
There’s no reason to not be in yellows by 35 other than being unable to afford it.
Lionguard weapons at 40 for karma, pirate jumping puzzle weapons… there’s lots of vendors that have stuff fo you to level up in assuming you don’t spend all your cash/karma on junk.
There’s a lot of ways for you to stay out of blue gear problem being that most players don’t know this stuff exists.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Not for me anyway.
Fighting regular enemies with near champion level HP requiring all 5 players to focus fire for 3 to 5 minutes isn’t fun.
Getting killed in 5 hits at best and 2 at worst isn’t fun.
Having to sit there dead because I can’t just waypoint and run back until everyone’s dead or the others retreat isn’t fun.
Getting rewards that aren’t worth the time isn’t fun.
Although my group still tries to find fun in dungeon running, these are completely legitimate concerns.
We had a boss that was easily 3-4 mannable due to the mechanics, but of course had some bullkitten one-shot mechanism that yet again, had a poor tell or weak warning animation.
After 5 minutes of attrition, he announced he was going to go make a sandwich to watch the remainder of the fight due to being teleported on death (boss mechanics) to somewhere completely out of the way, when leaving him where he died would have been reasonable to res him.
Sitting around isn’t fun. Boss warnings aren’t loud enough. DR forcing you to run paths that aren’t worth the time investment. Meh.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Took a group through the Story dungeons one by one this weekend, and holy kitten SE story was just the most painful thing out of them all. The only time I have comparably less fun is CoE path 1.
Story modes could really use some love/rebalancing for level/gear appropriate characters. Rewards beyond being able to unlock explorable modes all by yourself would be nice.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Bank flippers complaining about their income, wants everyone nerfed under guise of ‘no effort’ HILARIOUS.
Seriously, if the loot gets nerfed at all, it’s going to be a mass exodous. A large portion of the community hasn’t been able to even see a rare for over 3 months now, and people just callously come along and complain that its now too easy to get rares/exotics.
Please. If you don’t like it, don’t participate. Let us get our fun in where we can and you can turn the other cheek and have fun in your way.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
From being one of the people who would never receive rares outside of Fractals and the general ignorance of the people in those threads that contained the ever-so-popular “Oh, it’s not happening to ME, so it must not exist.” mentality —- I’m not too surprised to see this thread.
Just gonna shake my head in disgrace and enjoy my first rares in months until you guys get it nerfed. At that time, I quit. Enjoy your mindless grind.
Seriously. for the first time I have the money to BUY BAGS… more shocking I have a reason to have them, because I can actually FILL them for once.
I just don’t understand you, OP… There are games that would satisfy your hardcore no-reward mentality, why don’t you try them?

Not worth the bag space anymore. Tossed out about 200 of them because 10 seconds alone isn’t enough to get you through the times you really needed them, and the leashing fix means I’ll never really use them casually.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
You cant all be serious, as of yesterday i decided to start working for my legendary so the first thing i did was go and get some MF gear. Considering masterwork gear has the same MF bonus as exotic, they didnt set me back much. If you include the runes and sigils i bought it probably cost me 10g.
Today was my first day farming orr, and after 4 hours i came away with 2 exotics, 5 rares, 20k karma and a TON of mats. So in one day of casual farming i already have more than covered the cost of my MF gear, and to me it seems to be doing its job.
Imho if you arent actually working to get these drops, you probably wont. So stop complaining. Its not arena nets fault you arent meeting the requirements they set, which arent actually that hard to meet.
Rude. If you were receiving no rares or exotics for your efforts, or a paltry amount like myself (+- 1/month), you’d be complaining on here just like everyone else.
Only received 2 exotics outside of the rigged karka box since game launch, not a single one from mobs, only chests, never a dragon and never a JP. Even the amount of rares is horrifyingly low for some.
In short, just because you aren’t having this problem, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, or that it is our fault. Rude.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
Happy about this, but holding back until the patch confirm everything is back on the level again.
Still would like some compensation for 3+ months of an unfair disadvantage.
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”
what about those people that worked hard to get their precursors?
Luck != working hard.
Plus the devs just confirmed partially the loot bug that has been plaguing so many people, so your whole argument is moot.
Loot chances was unfair, some people were meant to get precursors by luck with work and some people would never receive any loot. DONE.
