Are people actually afking for rewards. The reward track progression if someone afks is snail slow. When I am active in wvwvw I get around 400-500+ track progresion. If I spend to much time crafting or cleaning my inventory I may get 75 towards progression. That is a huge difference. A player that does that is wasting there own time. I dought it’s going to impact the game economy negatively considering the type of items in the reward tracks. I personally have not seen anymore afkers in wvwvw now then I have in the past.

AFKing has always been a problem in WvW, and now they have an actual incentive to do so. It isn’t the game economy that is the issue, but Map queues. Servers not only intentionally use sending alt AFK accounts over to enemy servers to queue their maps as a tactic but have outright told us they were going to do so repeatedly. This often happens when hitting targets such as Garrison on your Home BL or Your Keep n EBG to prevent your server from mounting a response.

When players are rewarded for doing nothing at all while they are at work or sleeping, and ALSO will not have to fight getting back in queue to get on the map, there is far too much incentive to do so now. The game economy is not the issue, but as long as there are map limits, queues and a score, it is like being able to keep riding the amusement park ride for free never having to get off while the lines just pile up outside.

Except they can’t afk at work or sleep and get rewards.. It decays over time. I tested it after you brought this up the first time.. It starts a countdown and your reward participation decays. In 9 mins I went from 275 participation to 0 and I was just running around inside my keep. To keep your timer you actually have to go out and do things.

No, the WvW rewards are ABSOLUTELY NOT OK.. any of those current like 72% who have voted for yes must have misunderstood either the question totalyl or are absolutely blind, or just want no changes in fear, that it could become too rewarding and somethign that had value maybe becomes lesser valuable or for whatever else for not understandable reasons…

they said in the exact same post they plan to add more to the reward tracks

We definitely plan to add more reward tracks in the future.

Also since I still see some confusion, WvW reward track potions will be added to dailies once the feature exits beta.

they want to get it out of beta it looks so it is permanent feature.. lets say for some reason they decide to end the beta at the end of this month. if no wins say goodbye to the reward tracks.

who cares if its blues, greens and a few yellows. that’s all i get when i pve anyway.. i got a few ascended pieces already and that is more than i got from wvw in the past year.

also no on resetting ranks.. rank to me = time invested in this game mode.. they touch my rank i would probably leave

Rewards need work because they still reward lazy game play and do not encourage players to be more productive in WvW. Participation went up to 100% while standing in the keep doing nothing AFK at the armor repair guy while eating dinner and I was rewarded for being AFK. You do not even have to do anything to be rewarded.

You are still also rewarded for Die as fast as you can, go back PvD something undefended, kill NPC get a chest and then have your zerg siege hump and THIS is why players stopped caring about WvW. You do not just need to resolve the scoring to make people care about the game more, more players care about personal rewards than they do the score any day, so you have to make it worth their while to do so.

If you want players to fight over the objectives, you have to reward them personally and specifically for doing so. Increase ascended and legendary LOOT and PPK for players either fighting other player without the use of siege while they are fighting over a yak, sentry, camp, tower or keep. Give the defending team slightly better LOOT than the attacking team and people will come back to defend. The LOOT is MORE IMPORTANT than the objective itself to get players to respond.

Reduce or Remove passive scoring and loot gain and you will reduce the lazy game play taking place. Currently players do not even have to fight other players to be rewarded, and that is part of why no one cares about putting forth the effort to play the game mode how it should be played.

Rewards are nice, but you should at least have to do something to receive them. Standing in the keep while eating dinner is not deserving of rewards.

Though most who AFK just use a macro to not log out while they are gone all day/ night, you can also just use any skill or move your character over periodically and you won ’t log out. BTW I was watching the participation bar go to 100% when I was not even touching the keyboard/ mouse at all.. IT was MUCH longer than 10 min, I cooked RIBS, baked potato and made a salad then ate lol . AFK should not be encouraged like that. ALL that rewarding AFK does is encourage more players to clog up Map queues by this being a great AFK spot to get rewards while at work or asleep.

well i’m not seeing this.. were you in a squad and a scout? after afk’ing mine starts to decay. i had 275 participation points with 10 mins left on tick. with 1 min left on tick mine decayed to 0

played map for 5 minutes. realized i played this same map for years and left because the k-trainers are already out k-training empty objectives

So you are unhappy that more players want to play on these wvw maps?

lets just see how long they keep playing it before they ask for new maps again

I think you misunderstand the plan here. This was not the “solution” this was the waiting room while they worked on the solution. Players want new maps, they just do not want THOSE DBL maps. They considered the HOT DBL such a mess it made the game unplayable, and at least going back to alpine would make the game playable while they worked on maps that would make players cheer not rage quit.

Now that they made it so players can at least play the game while they wait, Anet needs to start over making good WvW maps designed from the ground up with the primary focus to keep players in the PvP action not trying to get to it.

The problem isn’t " New maps" . The Problem is the new maps need to be designed the opposite of what those maps were designed for. Like every idea they had .. they should have done the opposite of that, and players would have liked them.. :p

gl getting new maps.. people were leaving before HoT came into picture.. we will see how long they stay before they leave again

I gank one and spam /laugh over and over

most players that do this can only kill players by jumping others in fights. when i get laughed spammed i remember the guild that did it and i hunt them down 1 by 1 and they die so fast when they are alone. i can even 1vs2 many of these laugh spamming siege tossing nubcakes. i even find them hiding inside zergs and focus them down just to kill them.. easy bags these type of players are.. easy bags i tell ya. no wonder they get joys by jumping others in fights. they can’t hold their own in 1vs1’s

Alpine BL keep WP's bugged

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the wp’s are bugged and if your t3 keep gets flipped fast and you don’t see swords pop until its too late this is probably the cause of it.

This daily can not be fulfilled on the old Alpine maps.

Have you tried to capture a bloodlust ruins? I think I remember reading somewhere that those count but haven’t tested it myself

WvW Waypoints Bugged on Alpine BL

Way points are bugged on the Alpine BL Keeps. At times they open up for the enemies to wp into. We are blue and the keep is red yet we can WP right into the keep when wp opens. Not exactly sure when they open up but we were attacking the gates with rams, I went to get a drink, came back and nobody was on the rams but the WP was open and people were inside fighting. I clicked it to see if it let me in and it did. Attached Screenshots

Also another thing I noticed was the bonus supplies from EoTM in our Citadel was red and I couldn’t pick up supplies when the red team held our Garri..

All I see from ppl disliking the ABL so far boil down to “it’s not new so we don’t like it”. Which is a pretty lame and weak argument. Are there real and factual reasons as to why ppl dislike it?

It’s not more blobby or zerg oriented than what I’ve seen from the DBL. That argument is pure unadulterated BS. So, really, what is it?

I’ll tell you what I never noticed in the past before the DBL but notice now that I consider a flaw/bad design. The enemy spawn on each side is so close to the south towers and the side keeps. Doesn’t take long to wp into a map and start attacking a keep.

But that’s the benefit! Action instead of a track meet.

So? This isn’t real war. If enemies are immediately chased off of one of the first objectives (most likely by building a lot siege) then things can get boring real fast. Yay, we still have all of our stuff …but the map is dead. An accessible foothold encourages offensive forces to press which in turn gives defenders and scouts something to do. It’s a give and take, home borderland shouldn’t automatically mean easy defense, this is part of what makes Alpine a functional WvWvW map.

My argument still stands. You complained about Alpine south towers being hard to defend. Last time I checked, karma trains don’t treb from towers. Anything else?

I went back and reread everything I said and not once did I say they were hard to defend. I said I never noticed this before the DBL came into play BUT the south towers and side keeps are easy to get to just by spawning into the maps. You can get to them pretty fast before the defenders even show up.

then I commented on someone saying faster action.. well you can probably get into lords of south tower before the action even gets there lol

since the BLs came back there have been 2 threads recently about the event notifications popping up. Yes people complained about them in the past but they are annoying more people now because things are constantly flipping more..

Sure an option to turn off capture notifications is fine. My point is that a couple objectives being accessible to enemies is a small price to pay to get people to actually stay on a map.

lets see how long they last on the old map before they get bored of it and pile into ebg again.

look i’m happy the majority got what they wanted and I even caved in and said give the old maps back but in a way i’m bummed because we will probably not get any thing new ever again. guess only new content this game will ever get is pve stuff lol

For the past 6 months ppl has been flooding the WvW forums saying that DBL killed WvW and asking for Alpine back.

Now you get Alpine back and you want DBL again?

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE.

I read the first couple lines, a real WvW player is someone who almost exclusively plays WvW and doesn’t ONLY k-train around the maps. Your definition might differ from mine, which is fine – but if all you do is run around with zergs, I have a hard time taking your talent as a WvW player seriously.

Also, I say almost exclusively because we are sometimes forced by ANet to do PvE to get things that would better our WvW experience, such as guild hall upgrades, ascended armor, ascended weapons, etc.

Edit, read a little more – 20 hours in DBL, but between my 2 accounts, 6000 hours in WvW total. Most of which were in Alpine.

anyone who defines what a true wvw player is, isn’t a true wvw player if you ask me because there are so many different ways to play and no one way defines it..

I stopped doing WvW when DBL came out for several months and played PvP where they wanted me to be since I play with 5 or less people generally. I don’t know a lot of people who are rank 2760 that didn’t ktrain with blobs for their ranks. Most of my WvW time was with my small group and some 15 man skill groups as well.

But yeah, I am just a casual these days. Now that Alpine is back, I’ll try to impress you by playing more.

I solo roamed or small group roamed (2 – 3 players) for about 2 years now and only zerged on reset night which is the night everyone zergs and I’m close to 5k ranks. The thing is when I roam, I’m taking camps to bring out other roamers. I react to pretty much every map call out to defend stuff. I have done more roaming than anything in this game mode. Maybe I’d be maxed diamond rank if all I did was zerg but you do not have to zerg to rank up. You just have to put in a lot of time.

Anyway I just get ticked off when I read people defining other players. As long as I’ve played this game mode I’ve never been labeled as a wvw’er. First I’m a pve’er because I never joined a wvw guild and stuck with my large mainly pve guild yet I’m always in wvw. Then I get labeled as a EoTM after that came into play because everyone knows only high rank players farmed them in EoTM

I could care less about which map we have and I didn’t stop playing because we had one and not the other but they both have different advantages and disadvantages.

We are aware of this issue and working on a fix.

I also noticed the flickering gates in the BL yesterday.. I know you fixed them on the DBL but it seems to have come back with the Alpine BL.

As I said in another post on this topic you can turn them off but it will also turn off the chat message as well. Uncheck wvw in your chat box options and the pop up messages go away too.

Its the middle of the day. Coverage balance was not fixed by the server combinations.

Hopefully tonight all maps are queued in every tier.

maybe you are right and maybe ebg won’t be as blobby as it has been but after playing the updated desert bl and going back to this map I now see the flaws of this map

Wait, so the server that has won 1st place in 2 out of 3 seasons, continues winning when their playerbase feels like it, counts as an oddity to you?

During a time when BG is active in WvW again, you’d think this is the time your commanders would want to step it up and fight against equal numbers. Instead, you make excuses and blame everything but your own server.

Keep telling yourself that it is now equal numbers. I’m happy to see BG finally come out to play but now you are using the exact same tactics that you all complained about when you were not playing. For some reason you think its ok because you all decided to play again but you don’t realize that now YOU outnumber the other 2 servers.

Anyone who says servers are now equal failed math.

What happened to Yaks Bend?

atheria I think you are missing the point. YB wasn’t ‘winning the larger battles’ before. They were winning the PPT by back capping other maps when the smaller BG (can’t speak for JQ) were rampaging on a different maps.

With this change, now the coverage is equal, and BG has a presence at the OCX times and coverage for when YB tries to back cap another map.

So in short, this change by Anet indirectly forces servers to fight for objectives now. Map hopping and capping as much as possible on an empty map to get the PPT points to dominate the scoreboard. For weeks we’ve been hearing how YB is this superior server cause they know how to use siege. Well now YB cannot entrench in structures as much anymore, as more people on the map means more structures are flipping more often and not getting upgraded. Supply lines are getting destroyed, no supply for building 10+ sieges anymore, etc.

IMHO, they should make one super-map. Map hopping and back capping objectives uncontested bloat some servers egos into thinking they are these gods at WvW.

coverage is not equal one bit.. Maybe if guilds didn’t hop servers right before we got changes it would be a different story. I’m seeing more people talk about massive queues in other tiers and all I see is outnumbered icon more than queues on YB

Picking off “zerglings” that are likely not geared or traited for 1v1s isn’t impressive at all.

picking off duelers isn’t impressive at all either :P

why not go to obsidian sanctum or your guilds PVP arena? then you don’t have to worry about the random interferance

I’m not a dueler but like I said somewhere else I respect players fighting 1vs1 because it rarely happens and most people just want a good fight.

This topic has came up in the past many times and both times I’ve said red is dead and respecting 1vs1 is fine.. it is wvw

either way I respect people that can take me 1vs1 before I ever give respect to players that jump me.

i keep seeing all of these posts saying they wont help, let me give you some insight. the “duel” is happening on an open battleground, and your teammate losing that duel affects the points for that week. you joining in on that fight guarantees that your team gets points. there are better (and less populated) places to be hosting you duel. if i see your duel in wvw i run my zerg all over it, end of story. wvw is made for getting points for your team. not dinking around fighting other players.

If I see you running outside your zerg (which I probably never will because most zerglings don’t leave their spawn without a zerg) I will kill and stomp you for points

Also duelers usually do not stomp each other, they let them rez themselves because they actually found a decent fight which is hard to find in this game mode.. So no points are gained or lost when dueling.

or… we could listen to what alain put up. saying that you are taking up a player spot and you arn’t helping the cause, i would rather have a mindless zergy than you standing around watching fights.

Taking up space? They usually roam after dueling. They usually duel when they find a decent fight. Its not like they duel for hours on end because they can’t since zergs keep rolling over them.

Sounds like they can’t keep up with the pace of competition in T1 while BG is playing the game the way Anet designed for it to be played. Maybe it’s time for them to drop and let another server that can provide good competition come to T1? :/

BG only fights when they outnumber others 3 to 1.. Rest of the time all they did was back cap, run from fights and hide in towers on siege.. Not to mention the fully buffed SM with airship strikes, chilling fogs and cloaking waters. Other servers are taking a break but when there is a reason to play we’ll be back..

Scoring could change the game mode while those QoL changes won’t. I think if scores were more closer more people would login every day to try and keep them close and continue to fight. I feel that when matches are decided over a few days people go elsewhere during the week.

The problem with this is the suggestions for scoring improvement do not necessarily reflect what the WvW community want to see happen to scoring. SCoring improvements need to happen, just not the changes ANet is suggesting. If you focus scoring on PPK instead of PPT and stop rewarding PvE, PvD kill NPC get rewarded system and instead make it so the score is more based on PPK while fighting over objectives you solve numerous problems at once rather than make more. People who play outside of " prime time" timeszones should not have their efforts devalued, instead the scoring should be based on PPK while fighting over objectives without the use of siege and it will balance itself instead since there are obviously less players to PPK during the off hours and still the same number of PvE objectives.

It is the PvE objectives that are throwing off the score, remove that from the score to solve the primary issue. Make is so the better fighters win instead of reward lazy game play.

The current system rewards dying as fast as you can so you can run back and PvD something undefended or get a whole zerg to sit in a keep and siege hump instead of fighting over objectives with a fun fight IS the problem with scoring. Make it so the teams that do that will lose and the players actually using their characters to fight over objectives win instead. That is what it will take to make players see the system as fair and worth keeping score on. Players do not care about the score due to it being based on such lame game play. If you make it right and base it on PvP game play in a PvP game mode and people will start to care again.

What needs to be on the poll is :

  • Make scoring based on PPK over objectives rather than rewarding PvE game play in a PvP game mode, and I do not see that option there.

The thing is players WANT these things fixed, they just may not want them the way you think they need fixed. In fact some of the proposed ideas may make most the players who do not play prime time leave the game all together, and if that is the case, you are doing it wrong again. No thank you for a PPK focused score.. That will make the zergs even bigger than the ones we have running around right now.. Players need to split up more if you ask me and this is one way to not make players split up.

Not rewarding players for their kills is why so many have left WvW from Day 1. Players can accept losing to the better fighters, but not to the guys who die as fast as they can so they can run around and PvD because that should not be able to happen in a PvP game mode.

If you solve the actual population issues, every server will have a blob, so you will no longer have just a bob vs a few, instead you will have blob vs blob and that is not imbalanced. You have to keep in mind this IS a large scale PvP game mode and that the game already has a small scale PvP game mode, so yes they should not be concerned about catering to small scale PvP in the large scale PvP game mode. Instead, you can play small scale PvP in the game mode designed for Large scale PvP and if you get steam rolled, it just comes with the territory.

If you want fights restricted to lower numbers, you play the small scale PvP instead, as this is the only place in the game you can get large scale PvP. I prefer to be outnumbered in fights as that increases the challenge and fun for me personally, and do not want the numbers restricted so that if you win it felt like you earned it and if you do lose, at least it was a fun fight.

Everyone has there own reasons for leaving wvw but there was a time where many of us used to say we do not wvw for rewards. Those are the days I miss.

PvP doesn’t help my server out so please stop trying to tell me if I want small scale fights I should go to pvp. I want SMALLER scaled fights happening in several spots. Not look at map for battle swords and go join every single person from all 3 servers in one spot..

There was a time where you blobbed it up to take a big objective and that was it. You actually had to ask the other groups and guilds to gather up so you can make a big push on a keep. Now its blob it up to take paper towers.

Sorry but the players have changed and if they continue to just blob any change we get isn’t going to make a difference. IMO your suggestions will just push for more blobbing..

Most players will leave duelers alone but there are always the kittens.

The same can be said when those duelers that you left alone stop dueling and jump you later on with 5 of their buddies..

I usually leave everyone that seems to be in a fair fight alone but I never get the same back ever. I honestly do not know why I do it but to me its more of a respect kind of thing. I’ve pasted duelers that were dueling and they stopped dueling to jump me.

I don’t even kill afkers.. If I hit someone and they just stand there I move on.. I want a good fight not an easy kill yet most see me and jump me instead of giving me a good fight lol

as i said there are always the a holes. most duelers from what i’ve seen don’t do that unless they are attacked. but maybe that’s just the servers? but it’s also some guilds are just like that too. some guilds are just trolls and salty about god knows what and will try to ruin anything and everything for a certain server. its sad but when you get f2p players and tweens playing this game that kind of thing happens.

I hear you and from what I’ve seen a lot of duelers are gankers in disguise that got owned and now want to duel instead because they don’t want to get stomped

My suggestions: add a temporary buff to wvw reward track gain when joining / playing outnumbered. Change the wvw icon at the top of the screen when your team has an outnumbered matchup so people know to get in there! Finally, make a reward at the end of the week for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd that gets scaled by your participation over the week so that people want to win!

or remove the exp buff from outnumbered and the mist war buff since they removed exp from wvw and change those to reward track bonus

Second……It is amazingly wrong in every way to tell a player how to play a game……no matter the subject…..Not saying casual game, casual players……but yeah game promotes casual gaming, so forcing players to do your version of gameplay based on whatever abnormal mindset you got for that game……really does not matter……

I will give u a week in my server waiting for 1 or hours to get in wvw , then you will be posting complain lol
if you wanna use the word majority , if there was a majority of you ? why do I see more complain then ppl posting they love this patch ?
also majority of us , who work , got family
and just wanna spend an hour or so in the game to relax
for the people who want to fight in high population servers , let they pay to transfer

Most of us from back in the day remember when we had to wait to get into WvW.. Anet even went and created EoTM for this very purpose. Reset and the weekend are always the most populated days.

I got tired over the past few years of hearing nothing but complaints from many people because they refused to transfer to a more populated server and instead came here claiming game mode was dead and nobody was playing on their servers. Those people did this for years instead of moving to a more populated server. We already had it where if you wanted massive wvw you could move but people still complained!!!!!!!!!!

I get it some people do not like massive fights and players all over the place. I for one do not prefer it. Even I transferred after putting in 9k hours on 1 server in bronze to T1 because I got tired of people calling my old server dead. I got tired of guild after guild leaving to another server and never getting players to replace them. I got tired of nobody to fight for hours up until prime time where we had 2 hours of wvw then it went back to pvd’ing empty objectives.

If more people actually did this in the past instead of constantly complaining maybe you’d still have your no queue empty maps matchups.

They should be testing the map adjustments prior to testing mergers as mergers should not even be a consideration until they can figure out if they can make static maps work. I a not aware they are even working on static maps. “ALPHA” is to determine whether or not they are going to do something, " Beta" is to work out the bugs/ crashes but are planning on doing this.. This should be in alpha not beta and static maps should be in beta for this to even be considered.

Now you’re just arguing semantics. LOL…..ok….I am not trying to change your strong opinion on how you think this game should be run. I just have a different opinion.

How do you think the game should be run? Run off the thousands of players we just talked back into coming back instead? YIKES. The game will die fast if they leave again. They are not solving the problems causing the queues or the coverage issues by merging due to the servers being merged all having population only during certain times. They have posted screens from T8 on these very forums prior to the merger during NA prime, the reason they a er T8 is due to coverage wars outside of NA prime. If you take those players and put them on a map with other serves that also already have queues during NA prime, it still does not solve the coverage wars, it just makes it so you have many players not able to play the game at all that would have been playing otherwise. THE MATH DOES NOT ADD UP. You do not suddenly turn the NA prime players into sea/ ocx players ( where they have a population imbalance) by merging NA prime heavy servers with NA prime heavy servers.

Not only is it not solving the current issues, it is just creating more issues. They still have no OCX/ SEA to compete with " coverage wars" and are still outnumbered while having massive queues on the same servers…( It just makes a bigger mess)

Don’t want to jump into your discussion too much but scoring was not in the top priorities of the wvw players when anet asked the community what their top priorities were. No need to go on a rant about something they haven’t worked on giving us yet. If more players top priorities were scoring we may have seen that too but it was more for rewards, population, desert bl and skill balance and they gave us that..

I haven’t seen all 4 maps queued in T1 but I’ve only been here since HoT. The most I’ve seen since I’ve been here is a queue on EBG and maybe 1 or 2 bls with small queues not over 10 – 15 but even that was a rare thing..

When I logged in a few hours ago EBG was outnumbered in T1

In a way we really can’t just base it off of reset night.. I played Tuesdays patched and liked all the changes we got but I didn’t play the rest of the week until Fridays reset.

There was a time that even in the lower tiers we would queue every map during reset.. It used to be a normal thing but after the weekend and outside of primetime those queues were gone.

I think lots of people came back to see what Fridays change did and over time it will die down. If you never experienced massive queues on reset then you missed a lot of the older days of wvw.

Howdy

For me as a wvw-only-player loot is pretty much a necessary nuisance (except for ascended armor / weapon chests). There is nothing i will use, everything gets sold. Lots of clicking and playing the TP – only to get the few gold i need to keep up with sieges / buff food. Its not something i generally enjoy (except for selling the odd exo drop).

Imo you could pretty much scratch the whole drop system down to getting exos, ascendeds, badges and gold. all the rest is just a waste of time for a wvw-player.

In this light:

I dont like all the clicking that comes with reward tracks. autoloot was a step forward, opening 2-3 chests every 10 minutes is not, and then there are even chests in chests and stuff… its work. And all the greys, whites, blues, greens.. they serve no purpose for me except eating up my nerves to get rid of them.

The Anet-Dogma “there can never be enough treasure” has always been wrong. I need a milion gold, not a milion blues.

I couldn’t have said it better.

Salvage everything – deposit into storage – sell those mats when storage is full – collect money from TP

Chances are you’ll get some ascended drops within the reward track.. Haven’t done much wvw yet as I’m semi waiting for Friday but I did the last pvp season and got 3 rings and 2 armor boxes from those reward tracks..

Maybe the crafting in this game should finally get tossed out or revamped. Due to other systems, a lot of the crafts aren’t worth crap apart from a few items (some foods and Ascended time gated mats) and only serve as gold sinks with mostly account bound carrots dangling at the end. I can’t think of any leveled crafting system in any MMO that I’ve played that’s as unrewarding and closed off. Let PvErs and their bountiful resource nodes craft food and let other PvErs spend their gold buying from them. Put level 80 account bound foods on a WvWvW vendor.

What’s your complaint here, that crafting is a poor system or that crafting provides items for both PvEers or WvWers?

Having that crossed system is good for the game. It adds broader value to both rewards from PvE and WvW.

My issue is that, crafting being largely useless aside, WvWvW players get the short end of the stick by playing one of the most high maintenance and poorly rewarded parts of the game and needing these items. Meanwhile PvErs have more access to the resources to make and buy said items.

As much as the developer likes to link WvWvW and PvE, item acquisition (not just crafting) leans pretty heavily towards PvE and that needs to change.

food isn’t needed to wvw though. same as ascended armor. those that think it is needed are the ones spending all the gold to buy it.

I usually check players food and if its condi I ignore those players so food puts some builds at a disadvantage :P
