auto loot never worked for me, i have the check box checked in the settings but it still doesnt work. i have to use my hotkey to pick up everything within a certain range
the animation seems to get stuck once you fire infiltrator’s arrow and then dodge with unhindered combarant before the arrow lands.
not a big deal, im just pointing out the bug.

I like the idea of a giant tower in the middle of the map
this could save a lot of time traveling. only problem to keep players from abusing it would be to set a 10 or 15 minute cool down way point after a player dies or uses it.
of course this should only be use for players that are in their home borderland.

we never ask for all of these rock bottom lava with super talls keeps, random desert mountains, pve mechanics, center event and other b.s.
we all just wanted a new map with different routes. new keeps, towers, camps with more destructive structures. maybe some new sieges such as large scale hidden traps, some way to transport large amounts of supplies with a siege, a few secret passes, you know stuff that player could have control over. but no and Anet will probably will not seek out for new ideas or change back to our old BL, what do you guys think
before GW2 came out i used to play Runescape and i loved it because all i would do was the wilderness, player vs player. once i moved to gw2 i felt in love once again but the game play was so different, graphics were and still are amazing but i couldnt settle right until i discover WvW. ever since then it became my wilderness again and once again i was in peace.

So the only reason I’m using my thief in HoT is to rather enough hero points to unlock the whole elite spec since all the hero points of Tyria arent enough. I notice this weekend when i entered HoT i was having a hard time surviving due to NPC high damage and only healing with Withdraw. so i started using Signet of Malice and Invigorating Precision but now im relaying on it too much.
so my question is, what build are you guys use in HoT, if youre using a thief?

i also agree that not all classes should have stealth. if they do it, it should be limited compare to thief. runes that grant stealth should be deleted and thieves should be unique. dont get me started on mesmers, omg they have everything. they definitely shouldnt have as much stealth even with combos. they have clones and those clones can perform their own attacks and other functions, thats their thing. anyways, anet pretty much is killing another class for no reason just like warrior and they have it worse.
nerf Rapid Fire and then True Shot! sorry guys rapid fire gets me work up lol i just hate that skill with passion.
anyways i can agree on some of this stuff but not all, i reroll from warrior for the same reason and now i have this class nerfed too
the main reason i bought the expansion was for the elite specializations to wvw, not to pve but the new maps killed wvw. now wvw is empty and players are no longer in control, which is the way it shouldnt since its servers vs servers. i regret wasting my money! im force to grind in HoT in order to unlock the spec for each character and i dont even enjoy HoT compared to Tyria. my warrior who had 100% map completion, 100% in wvw still needs more “hero points” *skill points even though i had tons of them. the only place i can use the new specs without getting all the skill points of the map and doing HoT is pvp but even though i never did like pvp. i hate team work, matches, queuing and then queue again after that match is over. WvW was like the “wilderness” of other games to me but in gw2 as you could roam solo, find small pug group, zergs or guildies to take over territory. now all of that is dead.

this is the armor i currently have with marauder weapons and zerker+val trinkets,
it has -35 power and -3.93% ferocity less than the first build but its free of pack runes, giving the option to run any other runes (i use this armor for wvw and pve)

over all marauder gives you more stats for your buck but only if you can combine and get the stats you are looking for

this is very annoying if you swap between different sets of weapons either if youre doing pve, wvw or even pvp
you know how there’s different bags for junk, materials, equipment etc…
why isnt there a soulbound or account bound bag for player’s items??
for example if you swap between a 1-hand weapon and a off-hand to a 2-hand weapon from the safe bag, the off-hand weapon ends up somewhere in your inventory, not back in your safe bag. Get it?
i find these very inconvenient because when i try to re-equip my 1-hand and off-hand weapon from my 2-hand i have a hard time looking for my off-hand weapon as it gets lost in my inventory

make this feature available. we can already change the stats of ascended armor and we all know some of this ascended back items are not cheap to make.

i have always used hoelbrak but since things got tough, i think melandru and loaf of saffron bread might be better off, especially being full glass
Last night I logged in, threw my full ascended assassin armor into the mystic forge. Head over to the trading post, spent +100g on genesority, bought melandru runes, crafted cleansing sigil and all i have to say is WOW!
i no longer have problems with condis
it does not run berserker because main core warrior is still better.
hopefully by the end of the week i can collect enough clips to make a short video out of it.

oh man! why did i have to discover this when i been spending time trying to get my sinister trinkets. I like how there’s a new set of armor stats but im also shock that its better than sinister. it can pretty much replace sinister if someone makes a build with full viper and perma fury. i feel like a girl, who cant decide with what guy to go with “im just confused” lol i hate to be the hater but i think they should at least nerf the precision to even things out :P
Are you using Lemongrass/Leek Soup and/or Hoelbrak/Melandru Runes?
I notice condition duration are rounded to every quarter of a second but it works the same with a negative factor.
example: Cloaked and Shadow
If its PvP this is pretty much unless as the minimal time you’ll have blindness is 3.75s with Melandru Runes.
In WvW, if you have Lemongrass and Melandru and if they dont have any condition duration bonuses you’ll have blindness for 1.25s which is very avoidable to wait it out.

Too much focus on dmg output rather than survivability.
Shield offhand is definitely one of the best choices for wvw play, especially outside of zerg situations.
I never wrote a guide for this but check it out.
why do you have a link with Toxic sharpening stone and Sigil of Malice? and on top of that you have Vigorous Shouts with Stances Utilities? If youre doing it to boost Sigil of Doom and Leg specialist the effect is very minimal.
Also, you do realize shouts got nerfed on the last patch and only heal around 1k with full zerker armor

if you dont have those trinkets try 3 knight and 3 berserker

Good! I want less players playing thieves. I’ve played thief for long enough that I can still 1v1 most faceroll builds as of today. The less thieves there are the more room for me as a thief.

the only thing that bothers me about burning is Guardian, i just cant stand that long and heavy stack of burning from them. cant say much about engi because rarely anyone plays that class now
we sure have a ton of access to poison and weakness :P
yes, hotkeys are save account bound, so if you change the hotkeys within in-game those settings will show in another computer.
example: my gf used to play on her laptop and i used to play on my desktop with a keypad. so whenever i logged on in her account on my desktop, her settings would show and i would mess with her setting every time >:D

im still learning but when i first started and i had no clue about thief, i found this video very helpful…i used to practice in pve until some of those moves became muscle memory, while others i still cant execute right.

Today I learnt that sword/dagger must be played almost without cloak and dagger…My effectiveness incresed by 120% ^^
is cool and everything but it feels like a waste of rune set, if youre going for direct damage s/d. the extra dodge every time you heal just doesnt cut it,
plus the conditions s/d outputs are not damage conditions so that +175 condi will disappear in thin air D:
I think Runes of Rage and Marauder amulet are better than pack if you’re running No quarter
