If you were positive you saw a jump in to a tower, you should report it and hopefully in game bans can be considered. Please do not assume wrong doing.

If you were mistaken and chose to jump onto the forums and commit Slander, the innocent party deserves an apology or forum bans should be considered.

I was not at the incident, all I know is ; There have been some great fights this week with JQ really sticking it to us on SOS borderlands the other night, many of us stayed online 14+ hours weathering the storm. Good stuff people,

The week is ended but before I let it lie;

Congratulations all, a very good week of fights, pushes and counters.

I wish to compliment all three teams on the fact that nobody else decided to play reprisal exploit games with garrisons.

It would have been very easy for people who were not guilty of any previous wrong to strike back, glad to see all three teams were better than that.

Loved that portalling 4 man camp take group last night, very tough group, thanks for the fun and new tactics.

as posted above it is rediculous to think that an enitre guild was doing this. Even if the fraps taken shows some senior names, it is not proof that in spite of it occurring twice in an hr that the group was not told they had a mesmer in legally. Or they just blindly followed a good leader.

I do not blame SBI or an entire guild, that is silly. either the mesmer was acting alone and the leader was foolish, or there were more than one involved though. both times.

2 garrisons fell tonight , I wonder if both were exploited into. and yes it was seen not just imagined.

I would ask guild leaders to speak to the culprits and get them to stop.

It is a very low act to exploit into garrison along front weall and then mesmer team in.

Please stop it, it is dishonorable.

Three points;

1. I wish everyone seasons greetings and hope you enjoy Dec-Jan .

2. I hope the system resolves incorrect banning of players.

3. I ask all guild leaders and friends of posters to inform them when they needlessly attack , abuse or slander, we still have a number of people who can not resist spewing forth hatred rather than just making comment. They need to be kept on leash.

Ok, SO if I am on team A and leading, team B and C should work out a deal to outscore A by points sharing until A is in third place. (assume total compliance)

At this point, assuming team B is leading, I am now allied with team C until team B is third, AT this second point, Assuming Team C is now leading, I am now allied with team B until team C is in third Place……

At this point I get to fight both B and C again Until I am in third place and therefore allied to C, sounds easy….

Can we get some sort of ingame message to tell me which yaks I can kill?

all anger and contempt for each other aside, the solo thief who “finds” his way into sealed towers and kills all guards, supervisor and 1-2 players at the same time, seems to me to be a factor in some people leaving the game.

ask anyone who plays SoS/JQ/SBI, they will have seen him in action, not really any contest for most, just hit, vanish, hit vanish

and yes I play a thief, all 8 actually but thief among others to 80

I have been playing these games since around 1997 and it is best to just leave the drama on TV.

IMHO, The responsibility to enjoy yourself while representing your server, is yours…

I am a defensive mindset player, I like to set up siege to defend things, run supply, scout and run yaks BUT if other people enjoy blazing around the map attacking things and moving on, Good on them! I will feed them all the intel I can.

IMHO, There is zero point in forcing OTHER players into playstyles that will see them become bored and leave the game entirely.

Some great fights, those presents are very distracting though…

This was a very interesting and amusing Link, thanks for posting it Jahva. IMHO, it would be fun to test some military professionals with this sort of scenario. I suggest the outcome would be slightly different than the site assumes.

Please consider editing your posts and removing the vitriol and replacing it with considered statements rather than slander and emotion.

I play all 8 classes, which one is strongest varies with the situation. I enjoy my ranger but he is unable to escape if noticed while soloing supply camps, Meh comes with the class. He ( and bears) does very easily solo an undefended supply camp though.

There have been some great fights the last few weeks. I am not affiliated with any WvW guild and I see people from all sorts of guilds playing great and having fun. This game is still alive.

The last few hours of last week SoS had many first timers out in WvW. It was great fun and hopefully all the communities can generate the same interest in WvW now and then.

There is zero chance that slander on the forums helps grow server populations, keep that in mind please.

These things are very hard to assess. If I am playing any solo character and not under instructions from SoS commanders or team, I will play through my own eyes.

If this means backing up that ballsy JQ/SBI Ranger who is fighting 3+ from the other side, I may do my best to cut the odds against them before leaving, my call.

This is an mmorpg and I am bound by my own codes. ( dolyaks shall not pass)

Rift is doing a very good job of scaleable/soloable dungeons, maybe a free trial is worth a look for you.

The borderlands are a lot of fun this week. I leave EB to the big guilds unless shouts go out for help. All 3 servers face periods of being outmanned on borderlands.

Many times this week I have been able to get into 3 vs 3 style fights and I appreciate the fun, win lose or draw, there are a lot of fine players on the three servers.

I play all 8 classes. Only some are lvl 80 so far but I found that playing a thief through to 80 made it far easier for me personally to combat a thief with my ele, mesmer, warrior, or even ranger.

I do not personally slot daggerstorm.

I have soloed around WvW maps for greater than a few hours on 4-5 classes only so far, so I do not have the information to confirm which classes are overpowered vs a decent opponent without guesswork. ( 4 classes to 80 mainly in wvw )

I do know that my favorite Yak killing class is my elementalist…….. Zoooooom…….. gone! It is a long way to 10000 Yak kills solo….

Look what I discovered. Somehow SOS is involved… conspiracy!!

None of the four SoS thieves in that picture had anything to do with the killing of the deer.

In DAOC my minimum size unguilded Luriken char had a minimum length name so I could occlude the visible writing behind an npc or even a tree given a 270 degree angle of approach. ( names were handled differently in daoc though after awhile)

If you ever ran at a DAOC “Keep Lord” only to receive arrows from 25 Luriken rangers standing under his robes, well……..

There is good and bad in being able to see names/characters behind things.

Hmm, A well respected leader led us on a complicated path around and behind the enemy lines, under the Briar bridge unseen and placed a catapult shouting “Build”.

An un named Asura said " but we own this tower"…..

I have personally seen JQ Members refuse to defend a tower taken by the often reported team. It appeared to be a group reaction to something.

I doubt JQ has anything to answer for, we (SoS) have faced the identical “things” in other match ups as they moved across the servers. They did not represent the servers they inhabited at those times either.

Good fights JQ and SBI, huge fun again this week. You always fight hard and I hope you are all enjoying the fight, keep up the fun.

Not all posts in this thread strike me personally as funny, some do and others I give the benefit of the doubt as attempts at comedy..

Great fights all. AT one point last night there were 2"speaking" SoS players on a map in our last Location, Hills.

Thank you “Drop Bears” guild for sending 5 out to make a spirited defence against a well drilled and talented offence.

I am loving the fights and congratulate the 3 man teams that stayed on harrassing the camps once we were thrown out of the keep. Good stuff all!

I am a soloer, small group player from SOS. I would suggest you would be in good company if you joined SBI, JQ or SOS. I have seen some amazing fights and have learned a lot from both SBI and JQ teams.

In the 10-12 hour period I play daily, there is often only a few players ( been alone ) on a map. You can get instant queues and some good small team stuff in Tier 1 as well as the big end of town stuff.

It is an interesting internet concept where people who agreed to a code of conduct continue to flagrantly breach it .

Accusations are to be directed to the support team. Issues can be posted to support forums IAW the same code of conduct we all signed prior to getting forum access.

I seriously hope anet works out how to track these things properly so that exploits are removed from the game and the accusations are removed from the forums.
