IMHO, if you choose to run solo, you deal with whatever arrives and move on. It is your/our own choice and gamers do NOT get to choose other gamers playstyle.

Some great fights on SoS bl last night, tenacious attacks by CD and a lot of fun, Thank you.

There have been some great fights this weekend. There are some good roamers moving about BUT it is their call regarding the choice to run engage call others etc, not the call of the forum monkey.

Good fights in EB last night, good movement, great turnout and a lot of fun.

Please keep turning out to WvW. See you on the battlefield.

Some great fights this week. A very spirited performance by Mag, including several open field battles have created a series of extremely fun gaming sessions. The quality defence by Mag of their bay was a highlight and I doubt anyone at the battle failed to complete monthly wvw kills.

IMHO, this has been a very enjoyable week. Thank you all for turning out to WvW.

Some great fights this week, for one reason or another Mag’s is pushing back hard and in spite of our fortune over the weekend, the winner is not yet decided.

Both mags and yaks have had some fine thieves operating this week, props to them all.

While many people choose to accuse thieves of all manner of crimes, there are others that enjoy the pucker factor thieves bring to matches. I am currently roaming as a necro and enjoy fighting any professon you wish to bring.

If you run solo, duo, trio or even 60 deep and attack me, so be it I chose to be there.

If I am fighting you and you choose to stealth and reset, re engage or leave, so be it, all good to me, I am in a WvW free fire zone and will adapt.

See you on the battlefields.

While the forums performance is fairly poor this week, the in game performance of the three servers has been IMHO, “very good”.

As someone who prefers to solo roam ( necro mostly this week ) I have enjoyed some excellent fights vs skilled opponents, including one guardian who fought me for many minutes. Win lose or draw, please keep turning up to WvW.

Props to the 8-10 man “blue” team that was taking SoS BL towers last night, ballsy and could easily have taken the whole thing if our responders were a tad slower.

I seldom respond directly to posters who show ( by clicking their post history) themselves to be pushing their own barrow but I simply need to restate a few things hidden amongst walls of opinion.

After having played a mix of servers ranked 1 through to 10+ in the Random draw series, I have NOT noted a significant difference in individual player skills when looked at on a serverwide basis.

Just like my own server, our current opponents have a mix of skilled players and people learning the game. Please keep turning up to WvW as it is the players that bring the fun. I have enjoyed many fine fights this week, thank you.

I have often wondered why they put achievements in eb jp and understand the frustration of those who simply wish to reach the achievement. While some will disagree, It is very similar to people who want to duel/ GvG near windmill being annoyed by others.

I have enjoyed the battle against a guild named KIWI, they are aggressive, willing to hit towers with a small force and seem to know their stuff! Thanks for bringing the fun.

At reset SBI and CD came out of the blocks firing and hopefully all three servers had a lot of fun in those first 4-5 hours. I definitely enjoyed it!

I understand the frustration RNG matches may bring to some players. SoS has not had the luckiest month RNG wise but I am proud of how classy most SoS posters stayed while facing massive forces.

Enjoy the game world. Please remember that these forums are part of the game experience and that you can easily check a post history to see “who” you are responding too…

The match has had many highpoints for me so far this week, in no particular order;

Mag pushing a TC group into our siege range at NW tower then bowing and leaving.
Mag, TC and SoS solo roamers fighting at a Yak ( multiple times ).
TC Solo Guardian fighting between SoS spawn and lake tower, great fighter not yet sure how to kill him/her alone if ever…
The 3 man/womanSoS , MGWC (sp) guild engaging any size force that turns up.

I do not care how you choose to play, win, lose, draw or even forcing me to swear at the monitor, players are the game.

DB has not appeared to go all out this week and I thank them if they have chosen fun over outright PPT. They have provided some great open field fights and some intense keep battles. I hope they are enjoying the match.

EB has defended well many times and should be happy with their defensive effort. The open field fights have also been fun with some fine battles.

SoS has had a lot of fun open field fights and the regulars appear to be having fun. There are always moments when WE could improve but SoS has never given up.

Friday for me now and another RNG weekly match draws closer to a reset.

All three weeks that SoS has faced TC have been enjoyable for me and I have a great deal of respect for TC’s ingame performances.

CD last night ( oceanic) went within a whisker of turning all but SoS garrison and a TC held hills on SoS BL green. Great effort from a group I estimated at only 12-15 players. We barely clung onto cliffside!

Remove gold and karma costs for upgrades, keeping supply cost AND reset all structures to match starting condition every 6 hrs starting with match reset.

This would remove the problem of facing T3 structures during your timezone if the previous one is dominated.

Sorry I was not clear enough, The first question was aimed at the start of the match

ie, server A dominates the Reset NA primetimes hours. Server B dominates the non NA primetime hours.

Server B does a 100% blackout for the first 5 hrs post reset, then comes in and captures ALL the high value holdings. Would that work or is it mathematically impossible to do better than the worst you could do by playing and losing during the first 5 hrs.

Question two was simply, is the 24 hr period at the end of the match going to be worth more or less total points than it is now.

Thanks, I am pretty happy with how your proposed system works over the week just each end seemed interesting.

I understand the need for people to embellish stories, edit videos etc to make themselves look “the best”. It likely does help personal morale.

I also hear many people say " $%& server X always melts" etc, I have heard this in the old t1, t2, t3, t4, t5. It has been said about every server.

I personally have seen very little difference in absolute skill lvls between servers.

Latency, numbers, finance available for computer, best use of current "questionable"skills, gold/cash spent on gear all of these things are difficult to factor in, but DO play a part in fight outcomes.

Good luck all, be proud of your efforts, but be truthful to yourselves.

Assuming the system was implemented.

How do you motivate players to participate in hours where they are outmanned, when the impression may become ,“stay out it lowers their possible score”.

Under your propsed systme what is the max 24hr score available if opponent/s chose to blackout 24 hrs prior to reset ?

GJ SoS. Had some great small-group fights with you in EBG today.

The biggest problem is that They’re gonna land in T3 at some point, having learned lots of T2 tactics and organization…and they’re gonna spank. xD

I agree, as a server we have “relearned” much that we have not been using the last 5-6 weeks. Many SoS players have been here since the start and while a lot of WvWvW focussed guilds moved on, not ALL their members went with them.
