There is a quick and easy way to solve this but it requires your own proactive initiative.

GW2 allows players to join multiple guilds and but only represent one at a time.

Pick a time slot that you usually play WvW , join with a guild active in WvW at that time slot. Get to know the members and join their vent. Learn new tactics and coordination with them.

I would be happy to help recommend active WvW kaineng guilds if you drop me a mail with your timezone ( NA, EU or Oceanic ) with languages you understand.

I already found a solution…you constant complainer….it does not involve Kaineng or you. Good Luck.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the OP. I’ve been logging into TS for quite some time, as requested, and hear little if anything useful. I realize most are simply using their guild channel. Not useful! Oh and the spies…yes…we’ve been hearing about all the alleged spies for a while. Funny how it didn’t seem a problem before. WEV.

I have checked out the Community Forum (my wife registered for it) and been disappointed with the attitudes expressed by some of the Leadership, particularly towards “PUGS” and/or Militia. This is why I have decided it’s time to finally move on, after all this time on Kaineng, my only server to date.

Hopefully it improves in the future and the current stiff neck leadership loosens itself up much more.

Fair enough. I was just wondering because the Kaineng population I’m seeing now is totally different that the population I saw on their ascension up the rankings.

I was worried that maybe some people had bandwagoned onto your server when you guys were rocketing up the tiers and maybe they weren’t inclined to stick around when the train started to lose steam. Thank you for quelling my fears! I now know that you guys are just hard working citizens trying to fit in a little time for the rest of us whenever you get the chance.

I want you guys to stick around, because honestly the 3 of us are about as evenly matched as any of us can ask for, at the moment.

No worries. My reply may have come off as slightly cranky. KN has usually been more slack during the weekdays, but we used to have enough people to mitigate the effect. No longer. But hell, we aren’t doing bad considering. Besides, I think all servers here can appreciate a close match for a change.

If you’re looking for a balance between zerg and small groups, we are looking to fill in some gaps. If you are from NA, or EU/SEA, we could use you. If you’re a small or smallish guild looking to move on, then please consider KN. If you look for honor, respect for your opponent, pride and dignity in a server, then choose KN. If you are looking for tenacity, then look no further. We do not chest thump in victory or QQ in loss. We are militia friendly.

If you are looking to only win, and not take the losses with the wins, not satisfied with recharging our batteries when needed, too impatient to move up…then please consider others.

No disrespect to our opponents, but they have their own threads and we will leave their own recruitment to them.

It’s only cause Maguuma isn’t Maguuma’ing your forum. I think DB demoralized them, and now KN is continuing the pain.

That’s not at all true IMO.

We have not demoralized them and they do not seem demoralized either, from DB or anyone else. They are fighting well, as they always have. Our numbers are now close, and it’s actually balanced.

We never really got to know them or Yaks when we crashed through them as the “terrible” Tier Usurper on our way up. Now we will. They have been great so far. I have to say, considering our first experience (understandable at the time), I am impressed and pleased this time around. Everyone seems to be enjoying the match, although Yaks so rarely post in the thread, I am not sure what they think.

Every class in this game can do damage depending on spec,but guardians are just not as good at it in comparrison with warrior or thief for example .I personally wouldn’t roll a guardian for pure dps purpoises.

theyre great roamers. each can be specced to be siegekillers. just dont stick around a zerg too long or youll feel useless.

This is also not true. I can’t speak for Engineers, but experienced Rangers are not bad in open field either.

Guardians are great in WvW too. That’s my main 80. Really ALL classes have their value and fun in WvW, it all depends on how much effort you put in. But you’re trying to decide, so likely as true as that is, it’s not much help.

I saw someone suggest Warrior, I have a mid forties warrior I am running in WvW right now. She’s not nearly what an 80 warrior is in there, but also very fun. Right now she is rifle and sword/axe.

Necro also has it’s fun…and lots o loot too!

You’ve obviously never dedicated yourself to playing a Ranger in WvW. If you learn to play one they are anything but useless. I pretty much leveled mine on the maps, starting at mid-twenties.. The class is a challenge but quite rewarding once learned.

Well there were multiple karma trains run this morning on YBBL and KNBL with 0 resistance. All 3 keeps were taken each time and no one showed up to defend. Was strange.

What time and time zone? I noticed even this past weekend I logged in at some points during the late morning/early afternoon (PST) and there were hardly any of us on the KNBL map, or any other map other than perhaps EB. It picked up as we got later into the NA West Coast prime time. I’m trying to get a handle on our newest coverage gaps.

This is not a hack and actually used to happen a fair bit in T2. Usually FA or TC were posting it. It’s funny and no big deal. Congrats on their craftiness. I’d try it but being one of those very un-thiefy toons, I’d get caught.

Fun match so far. It was good weekend of play. What sucks is I work 12 hour days usually during the week, so playing on weeknights can be a challenge. Our population is still settling, so not sure how we will fair when all is said and done. I am glad that we are able to bring balance to the tier however. There’s a lot of advantages to the reduced numbers. Feels a bit like “Old” Kaineng.

There isn’t a bag big enough, my friend. Had to empty all 100 slots of my necro’s inventory a total of 9 times last night in Kaineng BL. I was only in there for 3.5-4 hours, too.

There is this part of the game called “PvE” and in it are people called “Farmers” who like to run around Gathering Mats (joking here – I know there are some WvWers who still don’t know what “Jormag” or “Orr” are ).

ANet is currently selling a limited-time Molten Mining Pick for 800 Gems in the Gem Store. It has Unlimited Uses. It is the “Nirvana” or “Holy Grail” for Farmers.

Since it was released, the Gold-For-Gems Exchange Rate has dropped roughly 10-15 Gems/1g. That makes it noticeably more expensive for people to farm Gold to cover their Transfer costs.

Get bent. I’m pretty sure FA would start to lose population if it were suddenly to find itself outmanned on all maps except EB 75% of the time. I’m getting really tired of this “bandwagon” crap. Not all of us were lucky enough to roll on a server that had a stable WvW population. I’ve been from Crystal Desert to HoD to Elona Reach [DE] to SBI to Kaineng and now to god knows where. I wanted off CD because it didn’t have much WvW interest at launch, and I had nothing to do with TA taking their ball home and HoD dying. My German sucks so I left ER eventually, and SBI tanked for reasons beyond my control. So get over yourself.

Anyway, more to the point plenty of CO are still on Kaineng as we haven’t made a decision yet. We probably won’t start leaving Kaineng in numbers until Wed or Thurs. RISE and WM are confirmed on Blackgate (I’ve seen them there) but I would doubt that every single one of their regulars have transferred so far.

Also don’t forget there is a huge gap in population and coverage between tier 2 and below. Right now I think there are 4 or 5 servers with tier 1 population/coverage: JQ, BG, SoR, TC and, judging by what they’ve shown so far in tier 2, DB. KN & FA have tier 2 population, Mag & YB are tier 3 servers.
I’m going to hazard a guess that we’ll see KN & FA trade places a number of times in the coming month or so, one dominating tier 3 and the other getting dominated in tier 2.
