Even if PUG-raiding isn’t encouraged it is still going to happen and i see noting wrong with it at all

honestly i think the re playable content comes from where the person doing so has the most fun . and they are in a area they like the most. my self i find fields of grass by the lake the most fun to replay or just set at . but that is just me every one is different

compared to some of the names i seen that are not blocked yet by anet for what ever reason . this name is that bad compared to some of the account names i got on my blocked list have you thought about maybe trying hashbrown and cheese maybe ???:)

trying to do map completion and coming across these events . is painfully lagged filled and makes it hard to just get the map done. shame they do not put these things into the guild halls for the guilds or something on that lines ;/

agreed with you on this and maybe the fix in some way if this is bond to happen . and they want to play that said raid bad enough . maybe make up all the armor suits and so forth used with all the runes . and keep them in your banks maybe is a costly but yet easy fix ???

I have a feeling a guild who recruits and requires GW2 efficiency in order to clear you for raids is going to not have a problem with players that feel offended by that not joining.

It’s about looking for a certain type of player – if you’re not that type of player you don’t matter really.

the same can be said for guilds too maybe they are not the type of guild you want to belong to . thus they do not matter sounds like a two way street to me

since my first post on this iam able to log into LA now . but takes a bit longer then normal to log in there but once i do it,s kinda back to normal . but the news feeds still do not show up when you log into the game it,s self. but very glad for the drev,s working hard to fix this problem . and getting us all back to playing !!:)

So you know the newsfeed that loads when you login to the GW2 client? Mine is not loading.

I thought it was just taking longer than usual to load (since I did change my ISP recently), but I left my computer on and client open last night to install the HoT patch and upon checking my client this morning, the newsfeed still has not loaded.

iam having the same problem for the last half hour myself including no news feed . are you able to log into the game ? are you getting any error codes ??? hope they get our problem fixed soon .

just tried to log into game again . when doing so I do not see the news welcome page and get logged right into the game . and while waiting for sprakfly to load . it just sets there and then iam given this new code of 7:00:990:101. not sure what these codes mean . but have reset my modem and every thing even before I did that every thing works normal as always . all but the game if I could get some help on this please that would be great . thanks

i agree with you on this and yes it is something that will not end well. and i think it will make more people leave the game . i mean if i want a paint by numbers game i will open paint shop and play with that instead of this .

Organize a group from your guild and/or friends list. Then you don’t have to deal with players who play like that.

Scribing was designed to only be maxed by very very few people via their Guild selecting them for the Job and donating tons of mats to that person. So without selfless help and trust expect to spend 11 million gold.

gosh with that being the factual case of the matter no wounder why this needs major changes any one in there right mind will ever be foolish to do that and give up that much gold or mats . i know i never would and just the reason why it needs to be taken out of guilds or take the rank for it of people,s list of ranks they need to do.and make the leader of the guild do the scribing all by him self . as that is something not worth the time or gold by players for a hall or a rank . but yet we all know anet will never change this or fix this problem they fail to see they have made . just my 2 cents on this all the way around now

Yeah, I wish they’d made Scribe in line with all the other crafting professions – something you can get and level solo but that specializes in making guild hall items.

I agree. Scribing in the current form is a sick joke. And this is coming from someone who enjoys exclusive things.
Not only is levelling it way 10x more expensive than it should be, but the items you create with it also do have a horrible cost-benefit ratio.

It also will not be a guild effort to level this, since everyone want the personal rewards – 40 AP and the backpack skins, too. So if people help others level this profession, they hurt themselves.
I know I would leave a guild if they would ask me to send my materials to a guild scribe.

your right on this and not only that but i think this Scribing is something that should not be hooked to a guild at all . as it be more better suited with other crafting classes . and as well cut down on the costs to craft items as it is now with all crafting the costs are more the rewards of it are a bit less . but yet still have to do it . thus being forced to join a guild for some is not a welcomed idea . from what i get out of what i hear about it all together . even tho we know anet will not change any of this . it be nice and good idea if they did . and i think it would be more welcomed by some if not most all if this was not hooked to a guild at all . just my 2 cents on this topic is all

There are no rich plant nodes but there are small gardens or farms where around 10 nodes of the same kind are put next to each others. There’s one for potatoes in Ashford, the lettuce one outside the gates of Beetletun, the pirate vineyard for grapes in Lornar’s Pass or a cauliflower patch guarded by a hylek in Sparkfly, among others. I’m sure one of the pages dedicated to gathering has all locations available if you’re interested.
yes i know these are in the game already as i go to the one in queensdale when i need to do so . but other wise for as pages goes it gives the info but be nice to have rich nods tho . just something i think would make crafting more easy on us all .

I don’t know if rich tree nodes can be made either, but I imagine they could find a placement for sapling ‘forests’, an area like the one in Malchor by the statue where there are 6 trees very close to each other.

Pretty sure there are rich plant nodes, they’re just not labelled as such. Every now and then you find a plant node that you can harvest 3-4 times.

yes i have noticed this too as well when harvesting them . but there is no rich plant nods . i think that one happens with them and magic find being lvled up properly . but other wise the one ones i see is the rich mining nods and thus this is why i made the post be nice to have them too.

They could also add trees that are bigger than saplings (and act as rich nodes for wood).

i agree with that and think it would be nice to see and farm for crafting stuff make them look like a red wood or something of that type . and make the rich plant nodes look something like corn or maybe even like a big house plant . setting them off from the other nodes and making them different

i know what you are talking about . and i do not have that answer but yes it be more nicer to play the game with and the chat box and other stuff off the screen . only leaving us with the map and our skills bar to fully run around in the game to enjoy it even more. the daily stuff can be taken off in the settings . just not sure about the rest of it . hope that helps some and maybe some one has these answers to the rest of this too

i tried to look up this information with the search tool .but it came up with noting. so i got to ask why is it there is no rich plant or tree nodes at all in the game ?? got to say this is something i think that would be welcomed in the game for thos of us who do crafting . so Anet next could you please give us rich plant tree node,s to farm for Christmas please ??

i find the easy way to lvl up is to use xp boosters i get from laurels and as well as crafting that is always good for at lest 4 or 5 lvl,s and also use food and utility boosters as well as much as you can have your magic find boosted much as possible . and if you got the time you can get a toon to 80 in 2 weeks flat doing just this very easy

for me i find that coming up with 400 gems is not that hard . it just takes a bit of work is all and that is easy done with crafting and doing the hearts and just picking up every thing i see. and in doing that i in no way what so ever even think about spending real world money for gem,s . i just go out and pick up every thing and break it down to sell crafting stuff . and the rest just sell it to the traders and call it a good day . and honestly it does not cost that much when you buy gems in small lots or big lots .

going to have to try this out and hope it makes me fps much more better then it is right now . and I hope this is soon out of beta .

On a serious note, this is a picture of a bug I’ve been having for a few months. For some reason, these story chapters have been set to this totally affordable price of 4,294,967,295 gems at some point and stayed that way ever since.

I have contacted support. But thought I’d share this for the lulz.

um it does not cost that much for the Ls2 it is being sold on the trading post right now for 320 gems . on sale normal price is only 400gems it is very cheep and easy to get . and the rewards are worth it . so iam not sure where you get all these numbers but that is what it is on the trading post . #justsaying

Like all the home instance nodes, if you look at the amount of gold you could get instead for the gems they cost, or the sell value of the ones you find in the black lion chest…

Then there’s the candy corn node which costs 5,000 candy corn. It would take what, 1,000+ days to make it up? That’s assuming you mine it every day and you average to like 5 candy corn each day. That’s not worth it, so I guess I’m not going to get the candy corn node.

That’s what I always end up concluding about these home instance nodes. They simply aren’t worth it. They are cool but they might as well not be in the game because they’re not worth getting.

you do know you can get some of these nodes with laurals right??? and they do not cost that much . as i recall it only took me about a month at best to get the ones off the laurals person . but i will say for the nodes that are sold on the trading post . i will fully agree they cost too much . but if you can scrape up the gold for it in a months time let,s say to get them all . yes its a bit painful but very much worth it. disptie the high price on the trading post

went to play this morning after i got a patch from last night. and played for about a half hour then from no where just got a major lag spike 3 times . tried to ask in chat if any one was getting major lag too as well . then game crashed and give me this code =7:11:3:191:101. and told me to try to log back in after a little bit of time. please fix this what ever is doing this. so i can play my toon,s and enjoy the game . and no this is the only thing iam having problems with and yes iam using the same machine to post from . thanks

if i could make a small suggestion for these kinda problems . and maybe make it easy on us all when we have these umm problems . and make it easy for thos who do not have or use twitter or facebook .or are limited by facebook all together. and that is to make a widget link it to the front of the forums page . so this way you can see it before you log in and after you log in . and in real time too with server status . with the servers saying its online or in maintenance or offline. and this way we avoid a lot of umm problems . back in 02 when i played first person shooters the squad or clan if you will . used this on all there forums so we knowed when there was a problem or if it was play time. as at that time we did not have face book or twitter if i remember right. maybe this is something that could be done here for us all and make it a bit more easy and a lot less pain full

Again, the follower’s list is not a stalking list. You are seeing it in the wrong way. It is there to let you know someone has added you as a friend. How are you meant to know otherwise?

As I said as a reply to someone else, most people, and by most I meant probably 99.9% of people who play Guild Wars 2 – add people as a friend for a positive reason, not to stalk people.

If you or anyone else has a stalker in game the chances are it’s because you’ve had an altercation with each other – in which case by all means block them – and report them via support if they persist after blocking. But you’re more likely to know your stalker if you have one in Guild Wars 2. People adding you as a friend are not stalkers.

He made his way to the beach and was SHOCKED to see that there was immoral nude bathing there. He made a big outcry in the newspapers and of course people laughed in his face.

The point being. If it bothers you to see it, don’t go over there and look at it.

Not everything is for everyone. If it’s something you don’t need and annoys you to see, and you then spend the time thinking about it and then open up two panels in order to look at it, then don’t. Don’t go over to look at something that has no value or use to you and that you know ahead of time it will annoy you to see.

the GOOD PARTS i got to say honestly this is the most FUN i had in a long time with a group of people . and not only that but iam very happy Anet drev,s made it so you do NOT crawl up in some Conner like a small scared sick kid or something. and i also enjoyed the bosses pushing you away from them and forcing you to go to them !!!! major ++++ there for you Anet Drevs !!!! and also too i got to say the content looked great . and the skills worked well . shame this is something the Anet Drev,s team could not put into the dungon,s . and from what i saw for the most part i liked and i also loved the open spaces of the boss area all together and as well as being able to see whats going on fully in the game . i can not wait for this to go live on the 23 !!!! and that is my own personal take on this whole new pack . !!!

made a ranger a while ago and was thinking i would have full skills when i hit 10 . well i hit 10 and NO HEALING SKILLS AT ALL !!!!!!!!! how come all the other classes have healing skills 10 and not the ranger . that makes the game bad to enjoy with not being able to heal ones self as need. this is a bad idea and hope it is fixed soon !!!!! and from reading the first poster i do hope i get to heal myself at lvl 11 .

edit since this post i used my wit,s of xp and got to lvl 11 and got my healing skills !!! now being able to do story stuff and so forth will be much more easy to do . but this is something that needs to be changed back to the way it was even tho Anet will not do it it should be changed back . for being able to do first story part and so forth .

giving all the trades you can take in this game. what i did is i took Jeweller and cheff . for the fact . all your other toon,s . will need both of these class the most first . and then if you make another toon suggestion mind you . take leather worker and tailor as that is what i did . got to say it worked out very well .
