Completely doable.

Command Mastery – Requires the purchase of a Commander tag.
Rank 1: Allows the equipping of the Commander Tag in WvW zones. Without this, the commander tag can only be equipped in PvE zones.
Rank 2: Allows access to the special commander /com chat channel, to discuss WvW tactics. This channel functions much like a guild channel and can be used regardless of your location.
Rank 3: Allows the Commander to broadcast to his servers entire WvW population (all 3 BL’s and EB) using the /wvw channel. His Commander icon appears next to his name in /map and /wvw.
Rank 4: Allows the Commander to “Ping” on the WvW map, so that everyone on his server can see it. The commanders and name and tag are displayed next to the ping, and “blocking/ignoring” a commander will hide their pings, to prevent abuse. Pings will remain visible for 10 seconds.
Rank 5: Allows the Commander to “Draw” on the WvW map, so that everyone on his server can see it. The commanders name and tag are displayed next to the lineart, and “blocking/ignoring” a commander will hide their lineart, to prevent abuse. Lines drawn by the commander will persist for 3 minutes.
Additional Features
The Commander Guide Vendor also now sells Tag Dyes, which cost 1000 Badges each. Additional colors include: White, Black, Red, Pink, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Green, Orange, Purple, Navy. Your tag color also determines your Ping color, and Lineart color when using Command Mastery abilities 4 and 5.edit: dang typos
1. Love the Dye idea – This should be added already IMHO
2. The cost should not be 100G then, But this change will anger most if not all existing commanders
3. What determines the Rank? another EXP bar (No!), average recorded activity in WvW (more plausible?), lets have rank’s diminish based on attendance/activity and failures. Based on 14 or 31 days. Maybe Ranks reset when WvW resets? WvW Dynamic Living Content – Be the Players!
Once you have the tag, it remains Blue in WvW but can be dyed for PvE. But you can have it ‘on’ once you buy the tag.
Rank1 – Able to /chat with custom channels (set permissions and enable other players to join) total of 3 chat channels. Be able to show your Commander Dye Color. Channels drop when you log out to character select after 5mins.
Rank2 – Able to Ping on the Mini Map, Comment on the World Map(Lines/marks stay a max of 5mins)
Rank3 – Broadcast to server population in Tag Color Dye. Includes ability to Link WayPoints. One broadcast every 10 minutes.
I think this would be more sane and doable!

1. GW2 does not hyper thread, But when Hyper Threading is turned on, the game CRAWLS Graphically
Very few programs use HT properly, this should come as no surprise to you. The other points about GPU/CPU utilization are valid.
It doesn’t, I wasn’t sure if GW2 used HT or if it was an error in my Config. But the fact that when HT is enabled the game crawls is a surprise. I have never seen an application screw up that badly with HT enabled. Applications that don’t use HT, or don’t use it well, usually ignore HT all together.

It would be nice if these skins could go into the same skin back as the Zenith skins from the achievement progress – so that they could be accesible on all your characters at any time :P
They so need to do this. All Skins earned via Achievements need to hit that ‘panel’. Even older skins that we have already obtained. One time use skins that are achievements, feels cheap.
And for account bound TP/Gem Purchased skins, they want those to be single use so you are forced to spend another 600/800 gems for Character #2+ I don’t have a problem with this, as its income for NCSoft.

Checkerboard means you might be missing resources in gw2.dat (checkerboard is often used as a placeholder/fallback texture). Run the game with -repair on the command line.
However, from your other evidence:
- The screenshots look like lighting artifacts. This may be caused by problems with your graphics card.
- The “worsens over time” nature (where it only occurs after some time) means it could be a memory issue (RAM or Graphics RAM).
Both of those could be caused by damaged hardware (sorry
) , or just not adjusting voltages accordingly when overclocking. If you have OC’d undo it and see if the situation improves. It also looks like you are using a laptop? Combined with the fact you are using a TV means that it’s likely you are playing GW2 in bed? Put a tray under/solid surface under the laptop – it will improve the airflow. Blankets are great and killing cooling performance on laptops.
Absolutely right.
1. Update your Video drivers to the latest stable (dont run Beta drivers)
2. Memtest86+ for 48hours to rule out system memory issues
98% of the time, those artifacts are Driver bound issues (esp on REALLY old drivers)
2% of the time, bad/dying video card. Usually you’ll see mass pixelization when the card is dying (mainly from overheating). Bad Video ram would generally corrupt textures and you’d see more then lines and checkerboards.

So finally got my Intel system setup and running last night and I found the following (I feel Unusual) issues;
1. GW2 does not hyper thread, But when Hyper Threading is turned on, the game CRAWLS Graphically
2. when HT is enabled, my GPU has 0% utilization, yet when its disabled it will spike UP to 75% (HD7790)
3. GW2 does not do any better on Dual Socket systems (8 Cores/16Threads-with HT). With 1 or 2 CPU’s socketed the FPS does not change, nor the performance around/near populated areas. I expected more out of the additional physical cores (rather then Logical). I can verify that with both CPU’s that GW2 spawns across all of the cores, same with a single CPU, Just no performance gain.
This was just a test setup, Borrowed a servers from my datacenter and ‘played around’ to see if I wanted to invest in a new desktop setup for WvW. So far from what I’m seeing the cost is not worth it for GW2 as the performance is TERRIBLE with top of the line hardware, as it is.
FPS never dropped below 20, with or with out HT enabled (no GPU offload, when HT Enabled). When the GPU Offload works I get 45FPS when in populated areas (WvW is still sub 20) and up to 120 for spikes. Its the SAME on my AMD system!
Bottom line; I get better performance out of my Denab AMD PhenomII x4 830 then I do out of this Intel setup (close to a i7-2600K specs). Even though the Intel setup is worlds ahead of the AMD one. Just makes no sense.

I’m used to the 400ms, I’m NEVER going to get away from that, however the perceived latency (pressing an ability and counting seconds until it fires – e.g. the SAB shovel) is 4 seconds (sometimes 10). Tracerts are just part of a good latency support post (they really care about hop 14 onwards) – and reading into them means that the connection between my computer and 64.25.47.120 looks completely normal, it’s server-side lag. Level3 looks bad to you because I’m crossing an ocean and you are not
, plus my guildie in the UK said that he was having the same issue.
I’m going to see if it improves at all tonight.
Did you see the TraceRT I posted? I have the same Latency STARTING at level3 and I’m less then 900miles (AZ to Cali) from Level3’s Datacenter.
This issue (for you and those routing through L3) is not server lag.

Looks like the issue for you sits on level3’s side. Nothing you can really do about that other than complain to your ISP, give them the traceroutes and see if they can adjust the BGP routing through level3 to avoid hop 12. But on a side node, hop 1-5 is missing, and hop6 is already well above normal latency. I would like to see the trace response from hop1-5 as well (you can * out your IP address).

So as you can see from my live example, the issue is not with Anet or their servers (form this issue) it starts at level3, as that’s where the response times jumps from a sub 50Ms to 150ms on a single hop.
I think someone at anet needs to place a NOC Call into their ISP to do head to head testing with Level3, and if it cannot be resolved route out on verizon (Level3 is NOT the LEC in Cali, Verizon is..they have better BGP handoff’s then L3 does) until Level3 gets this fixed.

RAM: 8GBCan provide more info if required.
with the simple info you posted, it should be running fine.
however there are various things that you omitted.
1. Windows version (Vista, 7 or 8…32bit or 64bit)
2. Driver versions for your Video card
3. Hard drive (and how much free space is on it)
4. do other games work as expected?
One thing that I have found is slow/dying HDDs cause gaming performance issues. and unless you know exactly what to look for you would never know about it.
download hdtune (google for it, download the free version)
install and run it, goto the health tab and make sure there are no Yellow or Red lines. and that you powered on time is less then 20,000 hours (the number is in hours)
if any of the above does not match – replace the hdd
now – goto the performance tab, run a bench mark. it should be 60MB/s-120MB/s for standard hdds on UDMA-5. If the HDD is running slow (normally 25MB/s-45MB/s) it’s time to replace the hdd.
Next – CPU speed/HT(AMD)/FSB-NB speeds, and Memory Speeds
download CPU-Z and run it. You need to make sure your CPU is running at the expected Clocks when you are running your game(s). AMD uses p-stats to control the heat on the CPU. Meaning when its not under load it will lower the clock of the CPU to cool it off when its not being taxed. If your system is set to ‘power saving mode’ the CPU will always run at low-middle speeds, and never high (or Turbo Core for some of the APU’s they have). CPU-Z is the best way to verify this. Run it, start up GW2 and when you are in the game tab back to CPU-Z and see what the clock rating is for the CPU. If its not the expected clock (3.0Ghz or whatever it should be) make sure your windows active power settings is set to Balanced or High Performance and not ‘power saving’.
CPU-Z can be used to verify the NB/HT link speeds as well as the RAM speeds. SPD tab will show you NB-Link speeds (should be 1800-2400) Memory Speeds (its always 1/2 of the rated speeds, so 665.7 for 133Mhz Ram, 800 for 1600Mhz ram…ect) and the CPU summary tab will show you the HT Link speed (2000-2400).
Anyway, that is enough info to start digging into your system’s issues and to give the forum community more info to help you with (once you reply).

For a thief; – Attack on thief on purpose, as the O.P. seems to have a kitten for them.
Invis – Drop condition + Regen
Get behind your target
press 1 – do 10,000-15,000 Damage (Depending on Debuffs on your target)
Wait 2.8 Seconds, Invs again and repeat until target is dead.
Single target mastery – sure no AOE in that. But IMHO theifs shouldn’t be the masters of single target AND AOE.
Mesmers;
3 Clones (or 2 Clones and 1 Illusion)
Clones do what, 5% of your characters Damage? They are there for Shatter skills and enemy displacement/confusion. Illusions are what do Mesmers Damage on that front.
If you are taking 50% of your health as damage from a mesmer you are not evading enough (on Dagger you have #2,#3 + Dodge rolls to evade some/most of the damage from a Mesmer, and you can Invs).
Guards/Elementalists – IMHO are fine as is. they are support roles (primarily) that can be built out as power houses (with the right ideas behind them). But as you build into power you give up defensive abilities. And such, basically the player has to make a choice here.
Warrior – mixed feelings on this. But a warrior is supposed to be insanely powerful. Hence the name of the role. Maybe shave 10% off their damage over all would help. But then you have the freaking annoying hammer builds with continuous Stun builds (oh what fun). So Dunno what to really say there.
Necro/Eng/Ranger – Never played them, So Cannot comment

Laptop: M6600 – 2720QM, AMD HD6970M, 32GB 1600CL9 RAM, Arc100 480GB SSD
Its not the GPU but rather the drivers that I found causing that issue. For AMD (I dont run nvidia anymore) you had to kill the CCC.exe to get past that error. I would try that with the nview manager as well.
Laptop: M6600 – 2720QM, AMD HD6970M, 32GB 1600CL9 RAM, Arc100 480GB SSD
What Video card is in the system you are doing the install on?
if its ATI, locate and find CCC.exe in the task manager and end task on it.
If this gets the spash screen past where it downloads the few KB then stops, you must then reboot and update your video drivers.

GW2 is incredibly CPu bound, BUT its bound by the single thread performance aswell as the number of threads available. there are some situations where GW2 wil lrequir more than 4 threads, so an i7 can and will show better performance in those situations.
I wonder, can GW2 spawn more then 4 Threads? If so what is the max threads it could spawn. Been thinking about ‘toying’ with GW2 on a dual socket E5 Xeon (32threads, 2×8core+HT) just to see how CPU bound GW2 is.
You seem to have some ideas on CPU and Threading, what would your take be on this?

800W for future upgrades. When building a system there are 2 things to consider, the Now and the 1-2 years from now. And nothing but a PSU normally stays in a system through 2-3 upgrades down the road.

I highly suggest getting an HP DV6 with a APU and the discrete/dedicated HD7690M.
You can get them used/refurb on ebay for 350 shipped.
with a little tweaking, and some CPU Core Locking (there is a windows program for it) you can get 50-70FPS easily on that laptop.
IMHO primarily gaming on a laptop isn’t good for your health. Esp if you use the laptop on your ‘lap’ most of the time. The heat from the machine can damage your skin and the veins under your skin.
I would rather put 350 in a ‘decent/OK’ Laptop that can play games, then put the rest into a good Desktop. And use the Laptop while traveling/out and about, rather then putting 1k into a gaming laptop.
But thats me.

oh I am so confused after reading Xaton’s comments.
1. is this person trying to build a Paper MMO based on GW2’s ideas using D20 rolls.
2. Is this person trying to create a healer out of GW2’s abilities using concepts of RNG from D20 Rolls (WTF?!)
3. I dont really know what this person is trying to do, so I cant make suggestions!
If you wanna heal, its not going to be primary. Healing is passive for the MOST part. Every class has good self healing utility. 3 Classes have good healing others utility (Guard, Engineer, Elementalist)

I want to see 4 things about this
1. I have been complaining about for a while now – when you block someone they can still see your account online. This needs to be addressed. Its a security risk. When you block someone you need to to always appear as offline to them
2. Block – should be setup to block for 24hours, or 36hours depending on blocked content. If you block someone that is spamming gold selling via websites, the system should auto block and report on that. If you block someone for being rude, I think 24hours or 36hours is good enough. This doesn’t need to be a perm block (this would be a dynamic Block List that is in addition to the static block list we have now)
3. Report – this should be followed by a QA from Anet via Email on why you are reporting such user, and a follow up that an employee at Anet got the report is is reviewing it. We do not need to see the outcome, but rather just know thakittens not being dropped off as insignificant by Anet. And when you report someone, that account should be perm blocked from sending you messages.
4. Report based on harassment. I have reported a few accounts in the past week or 2 about harassment, one was very very bad in nature (she was trying to sell pics of herself via Paypal….I mean, Common!), And as of last night that account is still online. I feel this, out of all the reporting I have done in the past, this one should have been taken seriously. And this is why on #3 Feedback needs to be given to the account that reports certain behavior.

On some bosses/encounters this would be ok. But there are a few that you must stack to beat. Gravelings for example. They burrow if you dont stack.
And for the fun factor, If you stack, every player gets buffed with a bomb. that when it explodes it does 50,000 damage to everything around them with in 900 yards. But does not damage the player. That would not only be fun, but get people to stop stacking with in a few hours of release :-)

Pretty simple; lets add the following to the Guild roster Page as Columns
1. Guild Member last logon/Average time played for the last 30 days
2. Guild Member represented time over 30days (in a %, 100 being the max)
3. Guild Member total contributions – based on a value set by the guild masters (Week/Month/Quarter/year)
4. Guild member /GuildChat activity (either lines, # of words), time period set by the guild master. – Or something better tracked, Tracking Lines is going to be a huge number.
5. Guild Member Group activity – How often does this member group with other guild members.
Those 5 things will help guilds to track member activity in regards to guild contributions. and be able to reward accordingly. The calendar is self explanatory.

We need a guild calendar. I do not like having to use a out of game/3rd party/website based calendar to organize events for the guild.
Not everyone in the guild goes to the website.
Not everyone in the guild shares email (google Calendar)
best solution – make the calendar in game!

I want to see my guild members position on the main map. I want to be able to have the option to show guild members that are on the same map, show up on the minimap. Be able to disable group/Commander Tags/Dead Players/NPCs as well. Let us control who/what we see.

So, 17 250 stacks of that bloodstone dust. And I cannot use it until I get one of my weapon professions to 450 (Not happening any time soon), so the only choice is to pollute my Banker Alt, My Bank, or destroy the materials.
Because stacks of 250 is to small, and the collections stacks are too small.
I think we need to get these 250 stack limits in collections removed. If only for the new BoA, none sellable ascended materials.

when they released the ‘culling’ fix game wide, everyone’s Graphical settings for Player Culling Models were Low and low. (meaning the place holders were not used, but the number of players was set to 10-15?). You will want to mess with those settings in a populated area, as if you put them to high/high its going to really slow the game down for you, and you wont see the slow down until you are in WvW or a populated Zerg (Champ Farming)

Then I’ll forget about the disk drive. Would the 650ti be able to play the game in 3d?
Sure, but it will be slow. Also a 3d Monitor would be required with the glasses. For a 3d setup you are looking at a $2000-$3000 PC Build.

AMD FX-4130 – $105
MSI Radeon 7750 2gb – $98
Cooler Master 460w – $35
Kingston Value 4gb RAM – $30
1 TB Hard Drive – $63

Side Case Fan – $9
ASUS DVD Drive – $22
Windows 7 or 8 – $100
The FX-Series when Over clocked can stand up to the i5’s pretty well. I would watch tigerdirect for a couple weeks and look for an FX Combo on sale. I saw one last week with a MSI Motherboard, and a FX-6×00 Series for 149. Don’t let anyone here say AMD is not good enough for this game, cause thats just BS. The AM3+ is where it’s at, DO NOT get a AM3 if you do not buy a Motherboard/CPU combo.
Your motherboard should have 4 slots for Memory. always buy your Ram in pairs. 4GB is cheap, so you can get 8GB (2×4GB) from newegg for about 50bucks shipped. You want DDR3-1600MHZ CL9 or lower (CL7 is very expensive) for best results. You can then over clock that 1600Mhz ram to 1800 or 2100 (running at about CL10 or CL11) and push that CPU to 4Ghz+. G.Skill is one of the best Ram Manufactorers for the Buck.
For your GPU, the HD7750 is going to be weak. Drop down to the 6000 Series and get a 6770(you’ll be happier) and you will get 50-80% more performance out of it compared to the 7750.
I would avoid an Intel Motherboard, go AMD for an AMD Cpu (Dont touch Geforce/Nforce either) the AMD980Chipset is very nice, but the 880G is also decent too. Supports USB3.0, Sata6…ect. MSI, BioStar, Asus(rarely) are the brands to look for.
Drop the Optical Drive (you don’t really need it anymore)
Drop the Extra Fans
Buy a cheap lightweight Metal Case. 80MM or 120MM Exhaust Fan slot, and a 80MM intake fan slot in the front. I wouldn’t run a top or side fan port.
You can get Win7Pro OEM for 119~, or Win8Pro(Full) for 149 from Newegg. Both are ok, But Win7 still handles gaming better then Win8 IMHO.

You might not be able to ping the servers, but you can name resolve them to IP, then TraceRoute the to that IP to find out how many hops it takes to get to the server.
Coming from Japan you will want a UK server. As to get to a US server you have to continent hop quite a bit. You will expect 250-300Ms of Ping time at a min going from Japan to US based servers. While you can get in 80-130MS going back to the UK.

Update the Ram to at least CL9 1600Mhz, A 650 or better (Or an ATI HD9770~), and aim for a 800W PSU.
But aside from that, GW2 isnt written properly. So even the best systems struggle with it.
IMHO, Build a system ‘good Enough’ and save on the cash. until AreaNet gets the code fixed and optimized correctly. UNLESS you are playing other games or running other applications that can benefit from the new build.

you didn’t say what Video Drivers you are running. I have a HD7770 In my PC, running 13.4 and do not have that issue. BUT running the Beta drivers It would be a hit and miss.
Also to rule out Heating issues, download GPU-Z and run the sensor tab with logging, and make sure your GPU is just not overheating.

For those of you with lag issues, Guest on a different server. One more close to your Localization. I play on a server that is close to me and I have 0 lag issues.
It might not be your ISP, but it very well could be sending packets 4,000 Miles away to hit the server you are playing on (East cost to West Coast hosted servers). I see this on many different applications that run through attens.net (AT&T) Backbone Nodes on the east coast.
Just saying, before going after Anet, try everything in your power to make sure its not something between you and them.
cause, complaining here on the forums with out working on the issue isn’t going to lead to anything fruitful.

So..After reading the forums here (the living World Section) I can see that I am not alone in the feeling that the Living World does not stay around long enough between the 2 week updates (From my experience, 2 Weeks for the update, then in 2 weeks you have another update…ect. It feels like a dog pile on events). And while I do not go for all LW Achievements (Some are just DUMB!) There are some that I feel it would be a shame to miss out on.
So here is my suggestion for Anet. Build a server that holds all living World Releases 2 weeks after the other servers pull back the release. So that way, if a player needs to/wants to they can guest for 2 weeks and finish the LW they may/may not be working on.
This is probably the best solution for dealing with the LW and players that are busy to enjoy the aspects.
But, Personally, I think 2 week releases should be 3 Week Releases and the releases should be pulled back every 6 weeks. 2 Weeks and 4 Weeks is extremely rushed and really makes no sense in the model of an MMO.

I would like to see Karma useful. Maybe make Karma part of TP Purchases, or Gem store Purchases to cut back on Gold costs (if you only use ingame currency and not paying for Gems directly with Real Money).
Right now, 103,351 Karma is about 1g 23s if you use the Orr Boxes to convert into Gold.
That could be a good starting point for Gem store Conversion Rates from Karma.

Actually you are very wrong on that.
They can scroll the view in just in front of your avatar. And make it a ‘Camera Position’ Rather then an ‘avatar Position’
As for the view changes due to environment, Dodge Rolling, Combat (Shadow Behemoth) That does not have to affect this view port change at all, as its just a camera show.
Does your screen roll around when you dodge now? No
Does your screen Bob up and down now when you move, drink potions…ect.? No
Does the Camera auto pane out when big event start, EX Shadow Behemoth, ? yes
The above would/will have no effect on a really unpolished simple First person view, which is quite literally the camera view changing and your avatar Fading out.
its simple programming, and changes in the camera settings (Client Bound). Anet could get this done in a weekend + 2 weeks of in house testing.

Another +1.
That should be mandatory of the Guild system. Its a pain to manage stagnant players that just eat up roster space, or have left to Rep another guild leaving yours in the dust.

Yea Maybe I was a little mean spirited there. But do you see my point at least :-)
I can’t disagree with you or the OP on this.
Personally, I want to see more grouping activities (where you like…actually group and not just get together and be in proximity of each other). This would include Missions that let you get more then 5 people in a single group. Guild Content that would be more like Raiding (instanced, would be ideal). Stuff like that.

WoW = Monthly Subscription
GW2 = No Monthly Subscription
WoW = Entitled Brats
GW2 = You dont play for that living story, you miss out. No need to bring entitlement to this game.
and to your statement OP. NO thanks. I played the Living stories. I do not feel it right nor Fun for players to ‘go back in time’ to get this missing achievements. The fun aspect is to show off items/achievements/Skins you get from doing those living stories, and telling your buddies not to miss out on future living stories. it keeps people interested.
If you can go back in time and get those time locked achievements anyway..what is the point of logging in with the rest of the player base to enjoy and jump in on the fun AT that time?
Marketing wise, they have to pull in players from games like WoW somehow. And right now, there really is no better way then by creating Limited edition/Time Achievements/Items.

I also feel the same way. I fight myself daily to not uninstall the game and get a refund and my friends are the only reason that I have not yet done so. I believe one of NCSoft’s other companies said it best that we want content that is of good quality and that is what your players will expect. The daily grind is not enough of a carrot on a stick to make me log in every day but on the other hand I do not expect the undoable from you. How difficult is it to add in a couple of dungeons every 6 weeks? Your free to play competitors seem to not have any issues with such a thing.
Let me stop you right there.
1. You do not pay an access fee to play this game
2., Please see #1
3. After reading 1# and 2# again, you have no reason to fight yourself to uninstall this game or keep playing it or not. Either take a break and wait for them to release content that better suites you, or just stop playing all together. In its current form (minus Raids, I really think GW2 needs some form of Raiding material!) This game already offers 200% more content then any other MMO on the market. And it doesnt require any Login Fees.
But back on track to the OP – I agree. I am getting a bit tired of the Grind this, Find that, Fetch this approach. But that is the holy trinity of any good marketed MMO to keep its player base busy.
Just be grateful there are no TIME SINKS in this game. And by TimeSink I mean MONTH AND MONTHS in order to progress in order to PLAY with your friends.

yes, this idea is so very needed. And on the event Calendar you can choose to Opt in or Opt out of that event so the guild has an idea of who is/isn’t coming to that event.
The only issue with this are the kitten guilds that are attendance freaks. Nothing like a guild abusing such a nice feature to put the screws to its members to be repping, online, and there at that event…or you get kicked from the guild, cause now they have a participation tracker.

Giant Mad kings clock tower style jumping puzzle where it is timed and really keeps you on your toes, but even more challenging, when you fall you fall on a random map in a random location from the sky and die if you don’t hit water!
Then at the top a boss fight that’s like Liadri but tougher mechanics instanced (so you don’t need to deal with a mass of people near by) bigger room maybe even a bigger intense 3 phase boss (maybe drop the time limit) fight with tons of instant death for standing in the wrong spot. The kind if thing that makes you yell “COME @ ME BRO” knowing that not everyone with every build is going to be able to clear it.
Daily or weekly boss rotation, perhaps parts of the jumping puzzle change, introduce mechanics half way up that also frequently rotate.
Reward once per day: guaranteed 80 exotic *for your class chance at precursor, account bound.*
Level 80 req no scaling.
If you like this thumbs it up!!
Contact me A-net lets make this happen!
If it weren’t for that one statement, I would take this as a troll. But with the idea of account bound (Salvageable) Exotics, with a slightly higher chance of a precursor (ONLY for what your class can equip, No Bolt for a guardian for example), I think SOMETHING Like this would be a fun idea.

I really do think that is their plan. Other then the obvious requirement of karma (Exotic Trinkets, Legendary Item parts, and the Racial Weapons) what other use is Karma?
IMHO Nothing.
Farming Champs I can get 20-35k karma a night, and use it on what exactly??

Best back item they made so far is the Infused Cap from FoTM and the Flower from Southsun. The rest are really crappy IMHO.
Capes/Cloaks would be nice, if done correctly. Chars dont desert Capes….they barely deserve to be playable races as far as Im concerned :-)
Capes on Asura and Humans would look awesome. Vines for the Slyvarans would be nice too.

Combo Fields need more bang, that much is for sure. Maybe Karma or some account stat for completing a Combo field is in order. Not Solo, but when your in a group of 3 or more?
Firefield+ Blast = 3stacks of might
Waterfield + Blast = 75% healing of everyone around you
IceField + Projectial = AOE Regeneration
Light Field + Wirl = AOE Condition Removal
Those are the main Combos I use (Mainly Play a Ele/Guard).
I think;
Firefield+Blast should give Might + Do damage to your target. Maybe a 100% Crit when the combo is completed (Internal CD of 10seconds)
Waterfield + Blast Should heal for more (100% healing) since 1. its not used that often, 2. Blast on an Ele has a long CD, AND would be better off alienged with FireField (PPL want their Might). And maybe apply a random 15-30second Boon (not swiftness)
IceField + Projectial Lets face it, Regeneration is WEAK in this game. It doesnt even mitigate direct incoming damage with out kiting around. Its good against conditions (NOT BLEEDS). This is one of the weakest Combos I know of. But I use it to top off after the 75% Heal. The 10second regen will fill in that other 25% IF you take no additional damage. This needs a new combo result, period.
Light Field + Wirl = Probably my personal favorite combo field. Removes conditions from everyone around you and self. With this, as a guard, I have 6 ways to remove conditions. I think thats the most any 1 character in the game has to combat conditions. I think and added bonus would be to either ad a small heal on condition removal, or boost up regen and add that.
Changes I suggest are small, in comparison to some of the other things I wanna see. But that might be what we need to make Combo Fields more favorable to the player base. Get more ppl using them, get them to stop demanding Might fields over other fields…ect.

King/Queen is European, while Emperor is Eastern(China/Japan..ect).
Different Dialects different parts of the world. Europe Shared power between Man and Woman (Queen/King) while the eastern countries did not. With out force anyway. There is no changing history.
If we are going to get all cut up over titles like this, lets stream line it.
Master/Mistress, and remove the rest. But you cannot be neither the Master Nor the Mistress.
But as said above, this title is from a fable/story. Nothing more. Changing or adding another option to it is kinda stupid IMHO.
The Emperor – The Moron who bought Invisible clothing….do you think a woman would be as stupid to do that? Hence why its Emperor and not Empress.

Should have done more research. The INFO is out there for what CPU/GPU to get for what games. The E# Series from AMD are garbage for games. You needed to start with an AMD Vision APU with a dedicated GPU built into the Laptop (Like for example, a HP DV6z-6c00 which has a A6-3550 and a HD7690M, and you can get them on Ebay used/refurbed for 350 Shipped in MOST cases, if not cheaper). But to Properly Play GW2 you really also need a Quad Core (NOT INCLUDING intels HT) else the game just Bottle necks terribly, even with a very high end GPU.

) , or just not adjusting voltages accordingly when overclocking. If you have OC’d undo it and see if the situation improves. It also looks like you are using a laptop? Combined with the fact you are using a TV means that it’s likely you are playing GW2 in bed? Put a tray under/solid surface under the laptop – it will improve the airflow. Blankets are great and killing cooling performance on laptops.
, plus my guildie in the UK said that he was having the same issue.
