Quaggans and love make the world go round
Looks like im doing my asura updates on the wrong server….
Hahah
I suggest implementing a SENT panel in the inbox, so the sender could at least re-contact the wrongfully mail-received player. I have sent mails to the wrong player before and don’t remember the misspelled name, so I wasn’t able to apologize or clear things out about the wrongfully sent mail. @Anet
What is this “rental time”? These purchasable custom arena kits are time bound?
“You’ll also be able to get custom arena time tokens, which you can use to add rental time to your own custom arena, or you can go to someone else’s custom arena, and add time there.”
More Asura = more awesome
:D
^ Awesome mentality

Introduction
Greetings travelers,
Welcome to the recruitment thread of Leaders [LEAD]. We have been around since the launch of Guild Wars 2. Leaders [LEAD] originally started with just around 5 to 10 members, and never planned to expand beyond that. However, those original members were all such fun people to play with that we attracted similar-minded folks in numbers far beyond what we ever expected. Somehow and naturally, we stumbled on the right mix of laid-back, down to earth, respectful and great sense of humor-minded players. Our foundation is based around a casual gaming lifestyle; relaxed approach towards gaming. Therefore, we are not an elitist clan. We understand that people have lives outside of the gaming world and encourage our members to maintain an active healthy lifestyle. We strive to be a greatly respected guild on the server with a fun and warming atmosphere.
We allow our members to play how they want and when they want. We currently cover both PvE and PvP aspects of the game with an increasing trend of WvW recently. Our requirements to join are minimal to none; we give everyone a fair chance to enjoy playing by our side. There may come a day when a member may move out, but if they decide for a return, our doors will always be opened to them. Members will not attack another member verbally, physically, or in any other form. Doing so will endanger their membership with the family. LEAD wouldn’t be here without its members! The members’ individual contributions of specialties, friendship, talent and great character is what makes LEAD a spectacular place to be!
Cheers and best regards,
Jeff (Jayvux.4128)

Hmm, how can you do a storyline quest at a lower level than the storyline level requirement. According to my understanding, you have to be the equivalent level of the storyline level to be able to gain access to doing it.
Is it possible?
I have a GW1 account as well as a GW2 account. Am I able to merge them into one account?
Same reasons as OP, and just coming on GW2 forums now in hopes of good news and positive changes. Still hopeful of GW2 to become a better game
Pretty much @OP
Had a world DC at 10pm pst in an overflow server at the killing of the boss for the Lost Shore event…
very well thought-out post, took the words right out of my mouth
GW2 is definitely lacking some magic…
Lacks major longevity </3
You took the words right out of my mouth about my perspective on GW2. It “didn’t live up to its potential”
Oh wow awesome! Thanks for the vid link Venirto!
My hope is looking bright!
I’d love more sophisticated jump puzzles in GW2 as well, +1 vote
Hmm, I am sure if ArenaNet have plans on having such implementations of Pet vs Pet, they would definitely play it smart in regards to balance, etc.
I am sure these tamed pets can have super distinguishable features as opposed to Rangers’ pets, etc.
My idea is actually strictly for Pet vs Pet, so these pets actually won’t have any role in PvE or PVP except for strictly Pet vs Pet
*hoping for this
I would love this to be implemented somehow
Raising your own pet, training it, evolving it, battling other pets with it, etc.
stoked
You got my vote op. /+1 vote.
Maybe a mini game for the loading screen?
All in all, something more captivating and engaging than an art piece as the loading screen would be lovely.
Hmm, as far as to my knowledge, GW2 loves to stay as realistic as possible. With that being said, in reality…when you engage in a war, you would not be informed how many opposing members there are. That would be more of like a prepared competition you know?
+ 1 vote. We need more individualism aka need to be able to stand out more. I feel like everyone is just a herd, no one really stands out
It’s not the tagging of monsters that I am referring to for the faster loots, it’s the speed of killing due to having damage over MF; it is only logical :P
As for the concept of MF, MF doesn’t increase loot drops, it increases the quality/rarity of your items just as it does in any other games. It has been tested and confirmed.
Hmm if I am digesting your post correctly, you are basically saying it is possible to gain both MF and combat-focused attributes/stats?
If that is so, then I am already aware of that haha. What I am saying is, some of combat-foucsed attributes/stats have to be sacrificed for MF. Players would get their hands on as much MF as they can
You got my vote, a player’s level should play a tad bit more of a significant role. Unfortunate feeling to always be part of the herd and not an individual.
I find this to be a problem especially for parties doing dungeons, etc; can really anchor a party.
I find the implementation of Magic Find stat aka selfish stat being implemented into armor/weapons/accessories is a conflicting attribute.
~Power-focused= faster kills + faster loots but less rarity compared to MF focused wielders
~MF-focused= slightly slower kills + slower loots but more rare loots compared to Power focused players.
Who gains more profit in the end, evidently MF-focused players, and the gap of power between the two different focused groups are not that big of a gap either.
I suggest taking Magic Find stats out of weapons/armors/accessories and restrict them into charm pieces instead. (ex. Diablo 2) This way, combat game-play is not affected.
Now your question is going to be but what about the existing items with MF on them being worn or carried in their inventory already? Extract them into charms :P Replace the “extracted magic find stat” with a stat of the player’s wish….they can pick Power, vitality, etc. I am sure GW2 will come up with something reasonable to compensate and maintain balance if this change was to occur.
TLDR: We should not have to be able to pick between MF or Combat stats; they should be mutually exclusive.

Would love fishing to be implemented.
Mining/chopping/gathering leveling.
Skill Capturing like GW1.
Factions.
Better designs and physique for Medium armors pls. /desperate.
Climbing ladders hehe.
More contents on less populated areas or merge servers to fix that.
Character re-customization like GW1 (face, hair, body)
etc.
More of my 2cp: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Bible-of-suggestions-for-Guild-Wars-2-s-lack-of-longevity/first#post551225
I would like to suggest on merging servers, or adding more exciting and captivating contents on the less active areas.
Gw2 already has plans on implementing items that will give you the ability to change ur face/hair. But I would also love to see the ability of changing your physique implemented too in the near future; body shape, size, form, etc.
I honestly appreciate the level of competitiveness in PVE as a casual player. But I would love for GW2 to somehow work on individualism and give players more sense of progression. Everything gets scaled down to maintain balance… but on the down side, strips us of the feel of progression and makes it seem like all our time and effort didn’t pay off to a certain extent.
Our generation loves fast-pace… and the dungeon explore just seems like such a drag and super time-consuming with very little pay-out in the end. If it is going to be time-consuming… at least make the dungeon more captivating, engaging and exciting!
You got my vote. LF GW 2 take a tad bit small break from PvP and focus more on PvE.
LF GW 2 to implement Skill Capturing like their predecessor GW1.
Having Factions would be a great idea too like GW1.
Cape > Backpack any day in regards to charisma.
Fishing would be nice too to add to mining, gathering, chopping, etc.
More hierarchy and individualism.
Make combat flashier like Cabal Online/Kingdom hearts 2 type of combat-flashy.
Anyways I have made a list of suggestions to improve GW2’s gameplay and longevity here on the forums @ https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Bible-of-suggestions-for-Guild-Wars-2-s-lack-of-longevity/first#post551225
So database of ArenaNet has been leaked regarding face/hair change coming soon in a few patches if not the next.
With that being said, I anticipate for the feature or implementation of having the ability to change your body shape also after creation of your character.
I made my human thief too buff… makes him look anything but slick and stealthy :C

This is a well-thought out post that took the words right out of my mouth, or more precisely… a post that I couldn’t have said better myself.
Will you please post this in the “Suggestions” panel or (to mod) transfer it over to that panel? I find it more relevant and viable there.
Those would be nice
@ZeroStatic Just to clarify I never said “I died a lot so Arah took the entire day” or anywhere to imply that :P
The reason on my stance for nerfing the dungeon, namely Arah Explore is not just from my own horrible experience with it (death was not relevant until the grub-eating boss) but also gathering comments on the dungeon from map chat. Everyone I asked seemed to have said that Arah Explore takes at least 3-4 hours even for a novice group. The last time I took on this dungeon was about a good month ago anyways, right after the exploit fix. Maybe I should give it another go, now that there should be more experienced runners of the full run around.
Now when you mention the timing for the runs in respect to the amount of deaths and scene-skips, how experienced of a party do I need? Are any particular classes/builds recommended? The farthest I have gone was the grub-eating boss; my party and I would always get murdered when he’s at the stage of shadow-stepping -3-
I find this a captivating and exciting implementation to have <3
A personal customize-able mercenary would be a nice implementation also
There should be more features/contents from joining our Order/Organization. There should be more networking going on, some more interaction, and exclusive things to do with our order/organization/clan.
I also recommend implementing the organization or order that we join send us exciting, rewarding and captivating daily missions to engage in.
