This is the email I received by a staff regarding this issue after sending them a record of my connection using Ping Plotter; it may apply to some or most of you:

“Thanks for getting back to us. I’m thinking this is a connection related issue, not necessarily something with your immediate network or even your ISP but something with one of the server hops your connection goes through on it’s way to us. We’re not seeing any issues with the servers being reported and we’re not getting any indications from players that there’s anything going on ( when something is wrong with the server or client, our support inbox explodes). What I hope to see with the proxy is if your connection takes a different path if it improves. If it does then the issue is somewhere in between and it may be difficult to pinpoint/resolve but ultimately you would have to go through your ISP as they are the ones who dictate what path your connection takes to reach any given destination, like our servers. If the proxy has no effect and you suffer the same issues then that would mean something is effecting the connection before it’s able to reach the proxy server so it would be limited to either your local connection, your computer or something with your ISP directly.”

Don’t care about it at all except for their exp rewards in my toons’ early levels.
I enjoyed its predecessor’s story though; it played a more significant role in the game and had more depth, and the cut-scenes were a lot more exciting than just two folks standing opposite sides of each other talking :l

I was curious, what if we get stuck and lack the funds to waypoint out of there :S

I especially get heavy lags and DCs during pvp, close to never in wvw; odd considering the fact that wvw is generally more populated especially in my server.

Kept DCing right before Teq’s death… Missed out on numerous rewards Invested my whole day trying to get any rewards from at least one fight out of 5+ of them. All of the overflows i was in succeeded and all of them… I missed out on rewards due to this error code. >_> been like this since the gauntlet patch.

Hey Anet, so I keep DCing ever since yesterday whenever Teq is just about to go down. I don’t DC on any other games, only on Gw2 when Teq is about to die. My internet was working fine. Invested my whole day into killing teq, 4 hours gone to waste :l Hope there is a fix/compensation for this. I am going to go for teq again my third time. And yes both times, my overflow succeeded.

Answer: Yes you can. as long as you have access to the missions, you can guest to any servers to activate them.

My home server is Darkhaven, and I am planning to guest to SBI to activate it (long story :P)

It has yet to be fixed. My internet is fine, it is only gw2 DCing on the constant…
Even after the new release-patch.

yeup :< All day errday. Any other games, it runs smoothly, esp net-wise. But as soon as I get on Guild Wars 2, it becomes Net Wars. LUL

im getting this every 30 seconds in the gauntlet, and every 5 min during invasions. @@

Packet stops only when I get on GW2

I see my packet receive, keep stopping from time to time for a while, not sure if this is merely my router/modem issue, or gw2 affecting it as well. I only see the stopping of packets when I am on GW2

I am constantly getting this DC code error usually every 30 seconds. Impossible to play.
If I am lucky I can last up to 5 minutes before another DC.
Can’t make any progress in many of the new achievements, especially the gauntlet, i keep dcing as soon as the boss is about to be defeated.

Any fixes? Compensations?

The loot icons that appear on the right side when you loot now covers up the EXIT instance icon, hope this can be fixed soon <— reason why I had to drag the minimap to the top so the loot icons appear where the mini map was where it doesn’t cover up the EXIT instance-icon

Hey guys! I dragged my minimap to the top right corner, now I can’t drag it back down to bottom right corner. Any ideas on how to make it return to its default location?

I just tried it. In red letters it stated that any transmutations will make the item soulbound :l

Is this possible (still)?
I want to wear a certain Order’s armor that is not relevant to the Order I am currently in. I heard there are ways such as transmuting it to release its state of being soulbound to account bound and whatnot

It’s “trolling” because it really aggravates your opponents coming from a silly spec. Just checked out Jumper’s duels and wow am I out of the loop haha.
Was unaware you can make a perma evade thief with another weapon set; will definitely give it a go.
