It is a matter of skill actually. It’s what separates good players from average ones. Getting tunnel visioned to a single enemy, or even 2, shouldn’t affect your map awareness.
But tbh, Dragon’s Maw could use a nerf(PvP only).
Reduce the barriers duration to 3s and cut the damage by 20%.
so if you are defuffed or out of energy and cooldowns its a matter of skill?
then ill tell anyone to not used cooldowns or dodges because of possible dragon hunter traps
if you are debuffed, out of energy and cooldowns, why the hell are you complaining about being killed?
you’re suppose to die to pretty much any build at that point.
no only dragon hunter can kill that easy at that situation if im debuffed maybe enemies are debuffed also, a dragon hunter just comes and kills the momentum by nuking everyone .
they dont even need to target anything and no skill is involved ,
just know where the point is and thats it
@OP what class do you main? You are gonna have to accept at some point that some class with some build counters another class with another build. As a mesmer main, I would certainly not want to target the DH first, unless I +1 one of my team mate or I have portal up to make the DH loose some time on a point. Daze on traps were pretty dumb and OP though before.

i never said i have a personal extreme weakness against dragon hunters .
i say they wipe teams extremely easy.
for example i can put healing rain on point and it doesnt even do anything if the team doesnt play good or has no cooldowns left to avoid traps.

This forum…why do I even bother? If half of your team wipes through a single trap you might not be the most qualified person to propose a balance change. This probably sounds mean to you, but please deal with it. Hell the majority of people here including me should not propose changes since only a few of us play all classes in pvp and have a broader perspective because of that.

If you get caught without defense, lots of stuff can and should kill you. Nothing wrong with it …
Players aren’t supposed to be unkillable.

theres always 2 dragon hunters per match and theres a simple reason for that

If you cannot manage your cooldowns then yes, it is a matter of skill.
so dont play with skill because you will need cooldowns for possible dh traps thats very logic

If you lack awareness and cannot dodge – any class with any build will be able to “1 shot” you.
no one does it better and easier than dragon hunter on a massive scale
someone could be out of cooldowns out of energy or debuffed and not be able to escape
If they didn’t see a DH or him putting traps or cannot dodge it is not DH problem, it is a people lack of skill problem. Traps have a very distinct and obvious animations and you have to be a total newbie to not recognize and react to that. In that case, obviously, it should hurt you so you could learn and improve

and tell me where is the at skill putting some traps on a circle and fish kills like crazy
yes you can say that you can avoid traps thats understood but if the group is focused elsewhere a dragon hunter can fry people in matter of seconds and it doesnt need any skill at all.
its not ok to go to a point put a trap and kill everyone because they didnt see you or they where fighting someone else and used their cooldowns.
I fully support having team que back. While at times it did get frustrating going against a full team solo/duo it rarely happened and even then it wasn’t a guaranteed loss.
I think team que would produce better players. I know personally I’ve learned a lot more about rotations/builds and just pvp in general when I played with a group of people than just solo/duo. I agree with the poster above me as well, I met more people given the option to group as a team rather than just solo/duo.
a premade team vs a pug is 95% win
if team q returns it should not be against pugs
i usually top 2-3 stats and i loose all the time i dont know what is going on
Getting a couple top stats is effortless with the right classes and says very little about your actual impact on the match. Getting basically ALL of them, however… shows your teammates were really dragging kitten

- Combat system imo is pretty much a tie between GW2, BnS, BDO, and ESO. ESO, BnS, and BDO have a more skill based combat system. GW2 has a more casual combat system.
- Class balance goes to ESO and BnS. Tho ESO and BnS is balanced every 3 or so months. Their balance teams actually listens and partake in a way more active role with their game’s playerbase. Hence why every class in those two games are viable in all of the game modes.
- Build variety goes to ESO and Eve Online. The viable builds for PvP in those two games are immense. We have META and anti-META. Build variety in these two games are pretty much null due to the nature of NPCs. And the fact that these two games are only being balanced around PvP. Yes sometimes PvE suffers but instead of just lazly add power creep to the classes, they take a different approach and nerf the PvE content instead. PvP suffers nothing, from PvE content.

as a zerker main, i have to call BS. i can fly into enemy boats in naval battles as iron man, it’s the most kitten thing ever. zerker awakening is amazing.
plus the animations are excellent. sure you can glitch out on rare occasions, buts that’s all games. as far as fidelity goes, BDO trumps gw2 ezzzzz.

Hopefully anet doesn’t listen to people like you who did not play warrior when hot first came out.. everything could kill a warrior like a ping pong. Took anet a lot of work to get it on competitive terms
They are not competitive now, they are God tier. And gods need to be toned down to human level.
its either buff the other classes or they need hotfix asap they are kind of unacceptable

i will never have a bifrost my self cause i dont have the spine to craft it that means arena net should give it to me for free?

Depends on the brand. The big companies that churn them out like Dell or HP generally don’t have much customization, but the custom PC brands (yea, they’re prebuilt too but are more focused on putting in custom parts) tend to use standard parts though sometimes customized a bit. But everything is different. Although there are some things like hard drives/SSDs that are unlikely to be so oddball that you can’t upgrade them. But yea, if you can’t even get a 750ti in there, there’s just no hope.
Usually the later tend to be rather specific in listing their parts, while the big brands just are incredibly vague. For example, alienware has “Alienware™ 460 Watt Multi-GPU Approved Power Supply” ??? and then for $100 you can upgrade to another approved 850w supply. Unless someone actually knows what that is, I’d stay far away.
I looked up INNOVATOR 5 EXTREME GAMER 6400 but couldn’t find anything in English. From Chrome’s translate it doesn’t seem too bad though you may want to try upping to a bigger SSD (more than 200 GB) though not mandatory. The i5-6400 isn’t as ideal as the 6500 but it’ll work pretty good. I don’t know what that PSU is though.

the most unknown brand is actually better i guess ,yes my computer atm is HP already upgraded to SSD and also upgraded the ram, but the door slammed in my face when i tried to upgrade the gpu.
the psu is 650W btw.
also i just discovered that i can build a pc as i want from that shop and also has ryzen processor to pick for 319 euros.
will that processor be reliable and good for gw2?

thanks for your replies, basically i have a i5 core that i tried to upgrade but my pc for some reason wont accept a different graphics card and im stuck with a GT530 because its a brand pc so im aiming for at least an i5 again but this time custom.
from what i understand a modern i-5 with a GTX1050 gpu will be more than enough.
