how else im going to tell to warriors that flee like superman that they are cowards since i cant touch them?

warriors are the best class so they have the best armor and best hp thats why they added them the best mobility and very good damage and condition cleansing and traits that automatically work on their own like half autopilot mode

i did dungeons i have to wait two more days to craft my celestial helmet.
wvw is getting smacked by a spanish blob.
spvp has no rewards at the moment.

hello im thinking to change the skin of my sword to something smaller because my character is not of big size and big greatsword doesnt look good on me,
do smaller swords have smaller hitbox or is the reach the same with a longer sword?
you can simply not use it, but sometimes i wish i had more durability since my guardian is celestial and i get massive damage when i have to listen to wvw commanders .
i will occasionally use it since im not full bunker.

On the other hand, they are more or less useless in a large group and at best modestly useful in a small group fight.
The way to avoid thieves is to simply never travel alone in WvW.
Seems balanced to me.

building your class selfishly should not mean a guaranteed win.And Warrior? They cannot do the same?

hello im a guy that crafts his ascended armor and weapons but i still have many stacks of empyrial fragments and bloodstone dust shall i keep all of them or shall i throw some away ?
will they have any other use in the future ?
im against op traits too but how are classes going to reach a certain level of balance if they dont all have the same level of powerful traits
at the time its almost impossible for a guardian to do not have stand your ground on skill bar , atleast at pvp

i find mace to be useful in spvp where the pressure is granted with traited symbols

since there is almost not a single guardian that does not use stand your ground why cant we have the choice to have it as trait than always and forever have a slot kept for it?
as a shout guardian the only shout that i can occasionally not use is save yourselves the other two seem mandatory .
and then you wonder why no one uses signets or spirit weapons , its because at the time its impossible.

Yeah they are. And one promotes brainless zerging while the other you have to think a little bit when you’re fighting. Basically get some fresh air in sPvP, then come back to WvW and see how that thief fairs then.

WoW – Rogue, can cast Vanish any time, resetting the fight and waiting a bit for a better opportunity.

Did you purposely run into them? I mean if you have such problems… if you see them from a distance try to keep away from them (take another route). I’m guessing you “can’t” kill them because you think they’re OP right? You know they’re OP? This has nothing to do with your own skill level does it? Or the self imposed limit of “I can’t kill them because their OP so i shouldn’t even try”, what’s the point of trying right? Gets you nowhere in life.

yes guys when speaking about someones class problems its always a l2p issue
thiefs / rogues in lineage 2 have not so much access to stealth and are still one of the top pvp classes
and even in wow that has terrible pvp rogues cant abuse stealth over and over and over again
If they rework stealth and compensate with better performance out of it, sure.
Literally in WvW thieves are good at roaming, they suck at zerging. Immortals, unkillable, invincible (often confused with invisible), no… try playing sPvP (even just hot join) for a few weeks instead of WvW, it should improve your overall PvP’ing skills, considering WvW rewards mindless zerging vs sPvP where you have to think a bit. Very good single damage, yeah… but that’s about it.
Is it okay for a class that only has one use? (that’s probably a bigger issue…)

seriously is it ok for the game to have a class that can chase you for 5 minuets in wvw , having all odds to kill you and having no chance to die is considered ok?
i know you will say that thiefs are not good in a zerk but you think its ok for the player that tries to find his team to have to fight someone in the road that has no chance to die and only kill you?
maybe reduce the stealth abuse and make thiefs perform better out of it?
why did you design them to be immortals i cant understand this and the funny thing is that they make very good damage aswell .

A lot of living story maps and mechanisms are being turned into FotM. Not to mention GW2 has quite a lot to offer for that 60 dollers you paid for it. They’re even producing new content monthly, called “Living story”, free of charge.Also, I’m fairly sure they’re not putting all the resources into living story, they got different development teams working on different parts of the game afaik.
we have seen a lot of living story and not much about classes lately, maybe im wrong but i get the idea that the game gives too much emphasis on living story than other parts of the game .
im putting a lot hopes on next balance patch atleast.
enough with living story theme parks.
make dungeons more interesting and not places for just one trick pony zerkers.
balance classes and give them unique and cool abilities that make the difference.
attract more people to pvp and make it fun for everyone.
stop giving all your resources to living story, its cool now and then but the game should be the focus.
tower of nightmares was cool but i feel its moving too fast from there and on .
pls start making the game awesome, its a great game but it still has crazy potential to be even better.

better players (most of the times) and better rewards
It is down to the player to avoid such attacks – This is very easily done against a Hammer
the game is not 1vs1 to always see it coming and hambow warriors are like 50% of the tpvp population

i always played elfs in mmos
i said the dungeons are doable without being a zerker.
The dungeons are “doable” naked, in a 0/0/0/0/0 build or maybe even under both conditions (didn’t bother to look whether there is a video about that). So “doable” is hardly an argument for any kind of build.
im sure the threat creator did not ask if he can do dungeons with no traits or while being without armor so take your bitterness and sarcasm somewhere else
hello guys i hit max level soon with my warrior and i want suggestions for gear and build
i plan to use greatsword and rifle and want to do good damage while having survivabilty too
shall i go with berserkers gear or will i be too squishy?
and suggestion is welcomed
i use greatsword/ rifle and i still feel extremely powerful ,
never tried hammer but it seems i wont bother with it.
i rolled this warrior 3 days ago and i play better than with my guardian that i play since launch.

try find a balance between damage and support it pays off good especially in pug runs since a lot times you are called to you save the group.
tower of nightmares was simply awesome hope we live something similar again
too bad valour has nothing for damage modifiers, which make much more difference than crit dmg. also, wow, 2 paths of arah!! good job, those paths are really hard and I’ve never seen zerkers do it well.
to OP – for survivability run hammer build (15/x/0/20/x) for perma protection and larger HP pool and if really necessary some knight’s gear.
did i compare my self with a zerker ?
i said the dungeons are doable without being a zerker.
even a guy like me that does not bother much with dungeons completed them.
so he can run non zerker if he wants to.
he will save the time of others ressing him in pugs aswell.
i completed every dungeon (all of them pugs) i entered till now and fractals till lvl 20(stopped doing them a long time ago because i got my asceneded back) with mostly exotic clerics gear and full valor full honor traits and knight greatsword .
did also two paths of arah.

when i saw warriors base health my jaw dropped to the floor and realized how much time i have wasted on this crippled class.and i wont roll a warrior for its power but because i like mele combat.
and to people that say that HP doesnt matter it will always matter on classes that lack mobilty and have almost no cc like guardian
I felt the same as you, until I remembered which was the class that I liked the most in Dragon Age: arcane warrior.
Then i remembered how I loved tough characters with low health.
i have played lineage 2 and there was no heavy class that had the health of a robe class
anyway i made the wrong choice, you live you learn .

Mace is always dismissed as a defensive weapon, It’s one of the best burst weapons we have. Mace/Torch has incredible spike damage, however this is for PvP/WvW. If you’re talking about PvE, you’re just better off going with sword. For the most part if you want sustain dps go sword, if you want burst go mace. Again this is for PvP/WvW.
i like sword for wvw for its extra mobilty but i never tried mace
mace is a static weapon with very slow swings it brings some support in dungeons and spvp but thats all.
sword has nice mobilty and more damage and its a weapon that will want to use mmore often than a mace
Beta is a testing phase … obviously you haven’t learned that the fact they changed it to lower HP after testing means it had an unintended impact to the game.
im not sayin its an issue its just that class took a different path we are mostly an enchanter class than anything else
we started as a tanky class and had the same HP as warrior but they nerfed us to the point that we are an enchanter class except if you go full bunker
Unless I’m mistaken, we were never in the same HP category as the warrior. If we were, it was at best only a few months at release or it’s because warriors got a buff to HP. That’s not really relevant anyways because anyone that identifies HP as a problem for Guardians in the game doesn’t understand the class in the first place.
HP is not a problem in SPvP but that being said, Guardian isn’t exactly a faceroll class either.

You’ve been slashing and hacking your way through charr, mole-men, and aether-soldiers for the past week and now you’re having a moral dilemma about killing the chick that routinely drops orbital nukes on peaceful cities?

they confirmed to her that they would kill her and then she started throwing bombs
