blargh. my internet has been crappy all weekend for some reason... i havn’t been able to enjoy the fights. i disconnected 5 times in a row saturday night, and sunday night when i tried to play, i lagged out and got killed, raised, and killed again (and raised again) before i even saw i took damage. i took that as my que to call it a night.
hopefully my internet gets fixed up soon and i can enjoy playing again

You say you wouldn’t like it if Paxa or a similar guild was on your server instead of against you. You guys talk about how Paxa provides no help to a server cuz they just kill people and take camps to draw people in, they don’t actually try to add points to the tick for the server. You zerglings. sorry excuse me, you WvW players that enjoy massive fights and point captures just can’t understand that groups like Paxa and KoM do not give a kitten about the points. But also that doesn’t mean we aren’t contributing to our server, even tho we don’t really care about that either. With a very few we can distract and kill much larger numbers and be a huge pain in the kitten . You disagree that killing your enemy and keeping enemies occupied is helpful? Do you even notice there are people on the other servers or is wvw just green, blue, and red dots on your map with a couple numbers at the top of your screen?

ahh drama drama drama. please don’t put words in my mouth. let me try to address and explain… one more time…

1. i said PAXA. not guilds like them. specifically PAXA. and the only reason i did that is because… FROM MY POINT OF VIEW… with VERY few exceptions…all i have ever observed them really doing is hanging around the southern camps ganking… excuse me… killing solos/duos. i did see them (and KoM) at Garri this evening,, and even then, they would hit the gate, kill whoever came out in small packs, or run away if a larger group came out. if they do indeed to more than that… i’ve not seen it. sorry. based on my (admittedly limited) observations of their MO, and their plainly stated and often repeated preferences, i still don’t think PAXA (or any guild that would act exactly like them) would be good for ET. we’re already hurting for WvW players (lost a big WvW guild recently)… for those of us who care about the points, we don’t need a bunch of people who don’t care. again… sorry if that offends you.

2. i totally understand you don’t care about the points. its been stated quite clearly numerous times. i myself prefer the grandscale tactics of the battlefield… and medium-sized battles (15+/- each side). i dislike the truly huge fights, as they grind my somewhat older computer to a dead halt.

3. killing the enemy and causing distraction is always useful. duh. but like i said earlier… from the times that i’ve crossed paths with them, PAXA just seems to hang around one area for a while and just pick off stragglers. then it appears they get bored and move to another area. its quite easy to just say “PAXA at green camp. don’t go alone” in /map chat. since they are in it for the fun of killing others as quickly and efficiently as they can, i would think it would serve them better to roam more, instead of camping in an avoidable location.

i’ve said my peace. if you hate me for it, so be it. if you feel the need to seek me out and kill me in game over it… so be it. with a currently dwindling WvW population on ET, i need to work on my solo/small group skills anyway. thanks i guess.

PAXA is getting alot of attention for killing people. I wanted to point out there is another group on HoD doing the same thing, KoM.

I was lagging behind a mini zerg and KoM killed me. They violated a few WvW rules

Dont kill me when you have more people, (but its ok for me to kill you while zerging or using an arrow cart)

Also when attacking a group that has 2x 3x etc... more numbers then you if you start to win its time to stop because clearly they were not ready for the attack.

Its not cool to jump groups in the open field you need to let them get to a tower/keep so they can laydown arrow carts then you need try to take the tower/keep from them regardless of how many are in the tower.
When you die to the arrow carts/zerg hiding in the tower the commander of the zerg will then be able to post in this thread and talk about how it was a good fight yet you failed to take the tower due to the commanders great leadership and tactical skills that would make Sun Tzu look like a noob.

Start following the rules PAXA and KoM, stop killing commanders and their zergs in the open field, also you must ignore solo thiefs because they are supper skilled ninjas that should never die.

occasionally getting ganked while running solo is... while annoying when it happens... to be expected in any game that involves players killing players. notice i never ever said anyone should stop doing that.

as for KoM... yeah, they got me a couple times this morning by blue tower. regarding round 2... yeah, no. no matter how much you beckon... i’m smart enough not to run to you solo when i already know you can kill me fast and hard. clever of you to send the big guy (guardian i think? not 100% positive) around the back of the tower to blindside me. kudos on that. however, the after celebration for killing a lone guardian was a bit... excessive... IMHO.

and on an UNRELATED NOTE.....

shout outs to the human engineer from CATZ and the red-skinned male sylvari mesmer from WZ (i think). you two are hella skilled and tanky as kitten! awesome fights with you two. >thumbs up<

Isn’t that actually HELPING their server on the macro scale?? “Dont go to south camp, PAXA is there” therefore no one retakes that camp in fear of being killed or a huge zerg goes to the camp to retake it, meanwhile they (PAXA) is at the north camp flipping it.

PAXA is like many PvP guild, they want to kill PEOPLE, not lay siege to a tower for hours on end. Take it for what is it worth, personally, I’d like to roll with PAXA sometime, 2 5-man groups can do a lot of damage if organized.

if you’ll read my post again, i did compliment your skills at killing people remarkably fast. i’ll admit, you guys do work quite well as a small tight knit team. that doesn’t mean you are not really annoying to face. while everyone is certainly welcome to play however they want, please forgive me if i am not impressed by your chosen MO, and forgive me again if i simply avoid you on the field instead of feeding you bags. i don’t see a point trying to attack you or even try to pass by when i am alone.

Actually we on FC do miss HoD. We miss the HoD that came down to T8 not the HoD that uses 2 trillion arrow carts on every tower, the HoD that didn’t count only on numbers but skill level. So to sum it up, yeah we miss you, the version of you that was fun to fight.

Trust me your not the first person on this server to lead a push and come to find out you were actually just committing suicide lol. I blame all of my repair bills on ET players not pushing into the zergs with me. Its like no one has ever played Starcraft before, zerglings are one of the weakest units in the game people, and this very much applies to GW2 WvW as well, lol. All you can do is soldier on, try to teach as many as you can or simply get up and leave to join another server like plenty already have. Keep it up High, your a good commander.

FYI my guess is 89.7% ;P and that includes the good players too.

yeah. it’s hit or miss. sometimes they’ll go rushing right in with you… especially if most/all of the people behind you know/love you, but much more frequently, you’ll have 10-15 behind you, and you’ll PUSH… and turn around to see you’re either alone, or only 3-4 followed. what’s just as much fun is to call for reinforcements to come save such-and-such tower/keep/whatever… (and ya got yer tag up so they can find ya and everything…) and you get… 4 people. and you KNOW there are more on the map… somewhere… ooooooh that annoys me.

Fergy was definitely quite active in ET BL last night... kept us on our toes trying to keep them out..not to mention they took our keep in EB and decided to try and camp the spawn.

there is no double teaming occurring that i am aware of, but there are always rumors flying rampant. when SF reigned tier 8... ET wondered why FC’s borders stayed blue while our stuff turned green. then there was the brief and never truely agreed upon "non-agression-pact" between ET and FC. i didn’t care. i never hit FC anyway because SF was the bigger threat. now HoD thinks ET and FC are together, FC thinks HoD and ET are working together (you have some interesting conversations when you duel on quiet mornings...)

it looks like FC will be green next week. and they have been VERY active lately. becoming a big threat. which means our focus will probably shift to defending against/attacking FC... unless HoD wakes up and starts playing with us again.

this one’s even better. (ET BL hidden behind the scoreboard is all red except green camp. which is... well... green)

Got Quaggan tonics. Went as a Quaggan group in EB. We got to have a lot of fun. Shoutout to Jo-whatsit (I am sorry I am horrible with names) and the other ET who was chill enough to just goof around with us. We were trying to make it to the ET spawn point to party but couldn’t make it. Maybe another night!

i was part of something similar a few days ago… about 8-10 ETs grabbed a few knave tonics from the TP and ran off to HoD’s Garrison water gate. our original intention was to make mischief, but it ended up with a big ol dance party with some HoD peoples… followed by some dueling.

was fun. supposedly the commander of the moment got a screenshot of all of us knaves kneeling in a semi-circle around her. XD

and ya know what? you can have your high-stress high-pressure hour-long (or more) que commander-handovers 100v100v100 man zergs. that doesn’t sound like fun to me, or i’d move there.

i’ll take my last-tier, being able to log in and go straight to WvW with no wait any time of day or night and have some FUN. i was dancing with HoDs this morning near their Garrison’s water gate... for giggles.

maybe in a few days i’ll take it from them again. that was fun the other day.

whoever this HoD ranger is, i must have made quite the impression last night at Sunny tower... they danced on me till i was forced to withdraw due to the inactivity timer. i of course was LOLing pretty darn hard the whole time, as while they were busy dancing on a lone asura, their BL was slowly flipping red around them.
