Support no longer uses the support account way of helping. Now, you just go to Support and submit a request (an email) by clicking at the top right of the page. If you are having trouble getting emails from ArenaNet, there is a thread here about that.

This is my problem too. I have two extra molten axes & two extra consortium harvesting sickles now sitting in my bank but I’ve tried every password I can remember to try & log into support because that doesn’t update with my game password and it won’t send me the reset email. >.< I’ll keep trying I guess.

And if you’re unlucky enough to try again and meet the same result then multiply that times however many times you have to try to get through. It adds up and for those of us that don’t have hundreds of gold lying around it does make a dent in your wallet.

I started with the Wallpaper they gave us and then expanded it using the small version of the header image. It actually scaled up nicely and as there wasn’t much on the outside of the large images it isn’t very noticeable that the resolution is different

One half the fanbase gripes that armor sets are too revealing and that they should cover up more.

The other half would rather run around half naked.

That’s female light vs medium/heavy armor users.

I can’t remember a time where I’ve seen someone with their character wearing nothing just to be immature. I’ve had “naked” fights in pvp for fun and had a few guildies run with zergs naked, but other than that I haven’t seen anything that would convince me that it would be abused.
It would be a big deal for about a week, after that no one would care. Or if the devs REALLY wanted to be careful they could only give it to the races that need it.

Charr could honestly get away with hiding everything except their pants.

PvP bores the pants off me, hence my female norn does not wear a chestpiece or pants in PvP….she’s wearing helm, boots and gloves shown, a quaggan backpack and (hidden) shoulders.

Everywhere else I have my main set which is a skimpy heavy armor set so I can see my tattoos. :P

I would like to add my voice to this as I also had a post deleted and was infracted for trying to format my post to make it easier to read. I have a very hard time reading a wall of text and find that when I have a large amount to say it is easier for me to create headings and use the formatting tools available to create a clear message.

As for what I had to say, I guess that my voice won’t be heard anymore in this thread. I’ll continue to read what others say, I just feel very trodden upon about this whole thing.

I made this one so it would stretch across both of my screens.

I had been using a dual monitor wallpaper of the black citadel for a long time now and I love the look of the header graphic here, SO here’s a makeshift version for you if you have two monitors. If you set it to tile wallpaper then it will stretch across both screens. I wanted scarlet to be on one monitor rather than spanning the center so here I give you version 1 of this wallpaper. I’m not entirely happy with how it transitions to the tower at the end but I’m not sure how else to fill the extra space. Any suggestions?

I like that if you don’t finish them off fast enough any of the other NPC mobs come and try to rez them!

It makes the game more varied and I love it.

Reward Skins
The skins that are given as a reward for the meta should be accessible through the achievement rewards panel. The unique ones that drop should not….but if I got a skin as a reward for finishing an achievement meta, I should always be able to access this skin.

Other Rewards
I love that you’re starting to give us unique items that go in our home instance. My only problem is those unique items that we’re stuck with a physical object. The Zephyr sanctum model & the book we got from some other living story segment are the two that spring to mind. I personally deleted by book because I needed room in my bank, but I so far still have my zephyr sanctum model. Why can’t these be items that show up in our home instance somewhere too?

Storytelling
I love the short stories on the website, but I want to be able to access these stories in game. I know that making cut scenes is expensive and time consuming. It has been mentioned by others that even just a story book that you can interact with that gives you the story & some pictures would be nice to have. Our personal story has a tab with a recap and pictures from our journey. Why not make that tab “STORY” with sections for personal story & living story. As we progress through the living story, what we helped with shows up there and at the beginning/end of each story segment we get short stories that show up there as well. For new players they’ll get the short stories and a recap of each segment but nothing personalized because they didn’t participate.

Continuity
I know you’ve said you have an overarching plan for the story, but so far we don’t see what tying each section together. I love a plot twist and surprise endings, but there needs to be some (even a thin one) connection from each segment to the next. Something very obvious, so that even the most unobservant among us can see how they connect….it can even be a red herring.

Closing Thoughts
Overall, I love the stories. I always love achievement points and free skins (even if I don’t always like the design). Thank you for ever changing content and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I’d just be happy with heart quests to start to appear in Orr, starting with upper straits and slowly moving outwards.

Yes! Please. I want the skins I’ve earned though the different events to be put into the skin bank with my achievement reward skins. This way players can have a copy for PvP and PvE/WvW. And I won’t feel so bad about changing the look of my back piece from time to time so I know I will always have access to the different event skins.

Molten Gauntlets – had to transmute them onto a white lvl 1 something so I can save them for later. But I picked the heavy then and now can’t ever get the medium/light versions.

Scelerite Backpack – Again just got one. Just let me have the skin in the bank. I realize this one came with stats and we could ascend it, but why can’t I have a back up of the skin in my rewards area? And why can’t we infuse it??

Shattered Dragon Wings – This was the reward for the living story, why couldn’t this go in our skin area with the Achievement skins? It was an award for achievements.

Same goes for any of the other skins that we earned through achievements. The ones we earn from drops, I understand we can’t make those unlimited (though I’d love that), but the achievement ones should be with the achievement ones. >.<

I don’t want to delete any of my skins, but I do want to be able to re-use the skins and they’re taking up a whole lot of bank space.

I love the simplicity of the UI the only change i want to see is to be able to lock the minimap on my location. Too many time I’ve tried to turn around only to be moving the minimap in some random location and then die because I had lost track of where on the screen my cursor was.

And others might like the option to turn off the personal story location tip if they never plan on working on it.

I love my Kraitkin and the bubbles around me when I’m stationary, but when I move there’s really nothing. I’d love to have a unique projectile and something more.

This bat gs is of legendary aesthetics. The only thing it is missing is footfalls… but the bat effects help in that regard.

Meanwhile look at daggers… there literally have been no good non-legendary, particle effect daggers since launch. The few that come close (super, fused, winter’s, zodiac) are still lackluster compared to gs counterparts.

I completely and totally agree. I was working on the components of Twilight, but then I saw the bat Greatsword. I now have an ascended Bat GS and couldn’t be happier. I literally danced around the room with glee when I saw the look of the sword, squeed at the bat sounds and get a huge stupid grin when I see the bat flying around when I wield my new awesomeness.

To whomever designed it, Maggie Jackdaw would love to thank you from the bottom of her heart.

I have gotten so many as drops in the labyrinth that I have at least 60 uses of each after doing the achievement.

Go in with a character with good AoE skills (Guardian staff, Ranger Longbow, Ele Staff, Engie flamethrower/bombs, necromancer wells/staff, Mesmer gs?, Thief??). Loot falls from the sky that way as you tag lots of things.

I love the web stories and am glad they’ll continue, but I do agree that it’d be great to have them in game as well.

Maybe a book on a table in our home instance that logs living story “discoveries”. Or a room of story memories in our home instance. We could have Majorie’s book (even if I deleted mine), the sanctum model, and a bookshelf where the short stories we’ve earned appeared once we get the achievement from the different segments. If you brought someone into your home instance you could then show off your collection. Some of the books (like Majorie’s) would be interactive, others could just be text with pictures. That would be awesome.

1) Guilds – Management tools mostly (but guild halls too I guess)

2) RNG/DR – Despite doing a variety of content (dungeons, farming, events, etc) with 300%+ MF I see the amount of rares/exotics in a week as a “lucky” person sees with no MF in a day. How do we fix this without taking all the fun out of getting random stuff and saturating the market.

3) Player home instance – I want to be able to put collectibles (like Sanctum model) in my home instance. And a trophy wall to display back pieces/items I’ve earned but am not using. Display case maybe?

I also think part of the reason they were implemented last year was for a way for people to use up the tons of candy corn they’d accumulated from the candy corn nodes, t or t bags, etc. But, given the amount of candy corn needed for the mini, the pail, and the recipes, I don’t see there being much of a possibility of players wandering around with mad stacks of candy corn and nothing to do with them …

That doesn’t make any sense since the recipe only called for a single piece of candy corn. o.O not much getting used there.

I’d still like some form of this to return.

The Halloween content is the worst in the game. Last year, I hated it so much I left the game for about 6 months. I am about to repeat that scenario this year.

Story: What I’ve done so far is awesome. I love the bickering of the Mad King & the Prince while you’re there in the Labrynth.

New Halloween weapons: I don’t care for all of them, but the Bat greatsword is by far the best greatsword I’ve ever seen. For me, it’s more awesome than any legendary I’ll ever see. Working on making an ascended GS to skin it onto. The spider longbow is gorgeous and if I get lucky enough to get another full ticket I’m buying one and stashing it in hopes my guardian will someday get to use a longbow. >.> (pretty please)

Decor: Gorgeous as always. Some may complain it’s recycled from last year, but it’s Halloween. It’s awesome either way!

Candy Corn Nodes: I’ve started to see them appear throughout everywhere. Found one in Cursed Shores, one in Gendarran, here and there. I hope they become more frequent as the event goes on.

Labyrinth: I love this place. The CC gets a bit infuriating when you’re trying to fight your way to the zerg/group/team….I don’t just try to run past things. But getting stunned, pushed, pulled, then frozen so I can’t even use condition removal/stun break…that UGH. Other than that I love the boss mechanics, just wish they had a tiny bit less HP.
