Don’t quote me on this, but I think this was done as a response to a rather infamous bug, where a karma merchant was selling gear for pennies on the dollar relatively. People exploited this, got banned, and it was a big mess.

Well there was “bug” with the orders weapons. They were pretty cheap and could be salvaged giving you ectos. You pretty much made profit on every single salvage. But they fixed that by making them kinda expensive.

I still don’t get it why people are still complaining about it. What’s the big deal? Getting that stuff is soo easy without spending real cash on it. You can make easily 10g by just doing some fast dungeons on a daily basis. So that’s like 8 days until you can afford a gemstore armor, that you will keep forever unlocked with the new system.

I bought all the order armour and weapon skins to unlock them in wardrobe, and then proceeded to destroy them. I couldn’t even vendor them back for a few silvers, let alone salvage or forge them.

You can put them in the forge…..they no not what they are talking about.

That would be like if they disabled the ‘strafe left’ key for no reason. It’s in the game, it works, it costs nothing to enable it, but I think we’ll leave it as a developer only feature just cause.

People would start to use it, people would complain that they can’t see anything because of all the particle effects and suddendly this small option becomes a new project for the team again.

I think GW2 has a solid skeletal structure.

I strongly disagree one of the most important features are still very lackluster – the rewards.
On top of that the dynamic event system seems to be forgotten since we had no new dynamic events since at least a year.

We already know that they want to release LS season 2 in EU/NA and China . I think that we will see season 2 about 1 month after the china release.

There was no real lucked involved in getting that set iirc. you just needed to be rank 30 to have access to the wolf tokens.

People who never played PvE missed out on a lot of skins aswell.

It’s funny to see how many things from GW1 still look better than their counterparts in GW2, although there’s such a great age difference.

Just one thing: in GW1, you could see the whole process of an arrow being taken by a ranger from behind the back and put on the bowstring before being fired away. In GW2, you can’t see an arrow in the whole process, just when it fires away.

That’s the corrupted staff, you can get it by combining some components with an Etched Staff. It requires a recipe and some really expensive items though.

I personally think http://argos-soft.net/GW2/WeaponGallery/index.php?weapon=12&lang=en is the better choice for a weapon gallery.

If people buy those “low quality items”, A.Net will keep adding more of them as they, I think, are easier to create and yeild a bigger profit.

Even if they would look similar, that’s what LoL does “stealing” character ideas.

Fire and Air just for having a little bit of fun, not sure if it is the best combination.

Rangers get kicked if they have SotW equipped.

Just a small advice, don’t rush it or you’ll be burned out as soon as you have the item. Take it slow, play the game at your own pace, pretty much every minute you play the game can contribute to your legendary.

I heard that the only profession that benefits from it is the mesmer, is that still true?

Besides that I never bother with assasins because in a group situation I am almost always above 90% critchance

Champs reset at 5 minutes, the train takes about 8 depending if wasp is up. Works just fine.

Why do you make it so overly complicated. If you want lots of loot just go to orr an kill regular mobs.

And yet, you will be lambasted on these forums for saying that. There wasn’t enough gold in game before the patch (barring a few heavy farmers). It’s going to get much worse now. For brand-new players, they may as well just give up getting anything good.

Not sure what you mean but I made a new account like 1 week before the update. After 30 hours of playtime I had 100g on that account. I didn’t “play the TP” I just sold everything that dropped for me. Lower level materials are so much worth now.

I don’t think that we will see any changes to the forums any time soon.

It was nearly impossible before to make money and still a hard grind

I made a new account, so I had no money what so ever. 23 Levels later my character had 30g, without any luckdrops. 30 hours later this account had 100g on its bank.

And all I did was leveling that character.
