I thought today’s features were really good. People have long commented on the problems with Instance owners leaving. And, I find the new crafting feature very helpful.

Who doesn’t want improved performance? Well, I suppose some have great performance now…lol. But, I will look forward to possible improved performance on my machine! =)

Can’t agree with that, the matchmaking system (if there is any) seems to be pretty bad, I’m rank 30 and don’t consider me as a good player but most of the time I will get matched with rank 80s who simply just outplay me on every level, you can’t really learn anything from that. Doing hotjoin isn’t optimal either but it’s a better start than sPvP.

With the same old PPT system, inevitable server stacking and people leaving for the winning server, I couldn’t say I’m excited all that much.
Plus, Gold League, if FA and MAG stay, they’ll be losing every week, so there’s really no competition, the score will be known before the season starts for the 4-6 servers.

Seeing how many big changes we are going to get with the feature patch in WvW it was kinda obvious that they won’t change too much with the new season. The removal of the lockouts is kinda stupid, though.

You know… in orr there are chickens that kill you by pooping eggs at you.

Is there a way to check if those keys are actually working? I know you can do that easily in linux but I have no idea about windows. Maybe it’s a faulty device + when you have that problem in every game it would also be good to ask the logitech support.

Also sometimes it can help to actually read the manual, I know it’s just a keyboard but you never know maybe some software, besides the profile software, is required.

Wrong approach to the whole situation, imo. They should just ban the players who literally abuse failure states of events.

What I want is that when you put a commander on your ignorelist that you don’t see his tag on the map.

Why do people play RPGs when they dont like the leveling experience?

If this was my 1st character, or 2nd, or even my 3rd to 80 then yeah i would say same as you. But i have 6 lvl 80’s already. i have about 4 or 5 more to finish up.

I have 11 80’s and everytime I get a new slot I’ll level up a new character to 80 regularly, no tomes, no cheese like EotM, no dungeon leeching, just playing the story/completing the areas.. But maybe I’m just an exception.

The only other way that I know of to get dungeon armor is to do the appropriate PvP reward track. You certainly cannot buy it with gold.

You dont have to be good in PvP to get those rewards.

For people that actually do play hardcore WvW these changes ARE big. It will increase the ability to coordinate massively and might very well change the dynamics of the game quite a bit.

I doesn’t change anything imo. On my server, we assign commanders(on the same map) to different roles , those commanders are in different teamspeak channels and people who want to follow one commander join that channel/join the squad. Pugs will still not know what color tag is doing what.

Why do people play RPGs when they dont like the leveling experience?

What I do when I reached level 80 with a new character is 100%ing all the zones that give me exotic items. When you are lucky you get exotic armors with runes in them that a worth a lot.

What I also recently started doing is completing my weapon/armor wardrobe, it’s a longtime goal for sure but it’s nice to work your way through. I tend to craft/collect skins from a specific area, for example I recently finished my corrupted set, I will now starting to work on the destroyer set… once I’m done with it i’ll look for the next set to complete. Same goes for armors.. I run dungeons not only because they give a nice amount of money but also because they give me tokens which I can turn into new skins… that’s what guildwars was all about anyways – skins. Besides that I also enjoy working on stupidly timeconsuming achievements for example the underwater weaponkills, which in fact also generates a nice amount of t6 materials
Hm… Doing the latest content can also keep you quiet busy, getting all the achievements for Dry Top was awesome, imo same goes for the story achievements!

But the most important thing to do at level 80 is to actually get more confident with your character… learn different styles of play, try different builds maybe even readjust your keybindings to make playing professions like elementalist more enjoyable.

No worries, the new commandersystem will change it!

There will be most likely an event. I don’t think that we will hear any information about it this week though.. kinda like a surprise.
There is a birthday trader at the Lion’s Arch fountain, which gives you a title depending on how old your character is.

The name thief is just a generic term, so A-net.
The thief has the role in the game as the stealths, acrobatic and/or shadow class.
So they can be played as: Assassins; Ninjas; Thiefs, or what ever.

Yes it will be more work, but don’t right will generat more income for them. So what your point?

How do you know how much work it would generate for them? They had to rework all the weapons that already got released and they would have to implement an option to disable those effects. Sounds like a lot of work.

And yet A.net won’t do anything about it. I reported a bunch of them because they affected my gameplay experience. It seems to be an unwritten rule to not defend jofast camp in cursed shore, I did that because it’s easy karma + bags. Guess what happens? Commander tells the farming zerg to stand right next to him to upscale the event to a level where I just couldn’t do anything anymore, me and 3 other guys who tried to do the event were slaughtered and the zerg left. I reported the commander and he never got banned.

racial elites are almost ever bad/weak, I think the human hounds of balthazar are an exception to that.

rampage is going to be reworked again but I don’t think that it will ever be viable.

If you want some fun go for the rampage skill, if you want to be “effective” go for the Signet of Rage or the Warbanner(in group situations)

They should put the extractor in the BLC, imo.

that clearly can’t be right, as i have opened almost 100 chests since i started this game (all of the keys earned from map complete, random drop, or story instance, before anybody says i spent way too much), and have gotten not ONE ticket scrap or full ticket. yes, the rate is more than 0%, i was just exaggerating, but it isn’t that much more
