I crafted them as soon as I had enough materials, ended up with 31 bolts, I’m not a huge farmer though. Since I have no plans on crafting an ascended armor right now I decided to sell them.

With more PC games releasing on console, I think GW2 would do very good on console. Look at Diablo 3 or Destiny. Those two games are so kitten good on console. Diablo 3 on PC was pretty boring, played Diablo 2 on PC years ago, but Diablo 3 on playstation is so kitten good. I’m sure GW2 would do magnificent on console.

What is the “benefit” of playing a game on a console rather than on a PC? A different control device? You can use those with PCs too, just so ya know.

P.s. Destiny is a shooter, shooters suck without mouse.

Appealing to a wider audience is always risky. Suddenly you have a lot more people expressing their opinion on a certain matter, maybe even wanting the content changed into a completely different direction.

Regarding your PS: yes you are right but the audience is big enough and they shaped that genre into that what it is right now. Slow, boring shooters with no cool settings, weapons without recoil and no level curve.

Sometimes they even pull champs to the middle area so that the champs can destroy the golems. They drag out the fight just so that THEY get more rewards.

Other games have this problem aswell but in GW2 it’s more severe because loot/exp is shared and you basically just have to hit 1 event related mob to get the eventreward.

The people at world bosses aren’t actually AFK. They are just standing around after doing just enough damage to get credit for the kill. Which is one step worse than being AFK. Being legitimately AFK at a world boss will get you nothing.

Targeting a boss and press 1 to activate autoattack and then leaving your pc is pretty much afking for me.

That’s why I was referring to them as leecher And they do in fact not prevent the champs from entering the golem spawn area. Most of the time they kill the Champs that drop loot and run to the other side, pulling every thing that’s left with them. Which always results in 1 or 2 golems spawnkilled. Also they encourage new players to join them dragging out the event even further.

Hey I never bothered to use this weapon in PvE because I think it’s a very bad choice. Is there any way to make it work for guardian or ranger in PvE? I really don’t see it being useful. Or do I miss something?

So i rather think i have been everywhere, besides just 100% map completion i have found hidden caves, treasures and places not even marked in achievments or map.

At this point all i want is more spelunking todo, deep caves, old ruins hidden away, not new zones but new things to explore in old zones, more jumping puzzles too.

I’ll keep roaming the lands, maybe there is more i missed, but it’d be nice for you Arena Net too add these little tidbits into your zones.

So what are you trying to say? The guy from china guessed your 2 passwords? They hacked the GW2 Account database? I don’t mind making my account more secure but at some point you gotta ask yourself “Is it worth it?” is it worth the hassle just because 1 out of 100000 players got hacked this way?

How would that help anyone?
Obviously the hacker knew your account and email password, otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to get into your account, which means that you either used the same password or that you had a keylogger on your PC.
If you used the same password for both your email and your game account chances are high that you would have used the same password for the TP aswell. If you had a keylogger on your PC that security measure wouldn’t help you at all because the logger also logged the TP/Bank/.. password.

It might work on low settings but will this help you in any way? You want to command zergs, right? What do you need for that? A strong CPU. Why? Because you want to put at least the number of visible characters on max. You need to see what’s going on, see how huge the enemy zerg is, see if your zerg is tightly stacked etc.

Another question, what do you need the laptop for in school? Any special requirements?

There is this funny little feature in the game, called “chat”. When you join a group and you think they expect you to know the run you can just simply write something like “Hey guys I generally know this run, but I’ve been away from the game for a while so I may not know the latest tactics”.

If they kick you find a new group, if not you learn something and they know from the beginning of the dungeon that there may be parts in the dungeon that require explanation. The worst thing you can do is saying nothing at all or joining a group that explicitly looks for experienced players.

Why not allow players to throw different ascended weapons of the same type into the mystic forge (one of which celestial adds a time gate) and then you will get that precursor.

So for example 3 different stated ascended weapons and a celestial ascended stat will give you a precursor/ precursor equivalent. Then you can use it to make your legendary. It would have to be all greatsword for Dusk or all rifle for the hunter.

It will fit in lore/logic/ease etc.

I think it’s a simple fast fix that will allow people to get legendary that feels we get there through skill not a gold grind/RNG god prayers

How would that change anything? It would remove the RNG sure but it would be still pretty dull.

I refuse to use anything that’s on that site. Stuff like that should be on the official wiki and not on a website with ads + using guides for stuff like that feels like cheating and I don’t like cheating or be rewarded for cheating.

Seems to be a bug, when you get downscaled. When you are in a level 25-45 zone for example and your character is level 50. You are in one part of the map where you are downscaled to level 26 now you move some steps and suddenly you are in the part of the map where it downscales you to 28. This is the moment I think where your minions despawn, but I don’t know any specifics because I don’t play MM neither do I play necro in regular PvE

The advantage is an item of slightly lower level that’s account bound with chosen stats. This is used for alt characters, but is not monetarily worth it. You are better off paying to get dungeon rewards and boosting yourself to 80 than making these items.

What do you mean by that? The required materials are listed in the crafting window when you craft that item.

The idea behind the collections is awesome but it’s a feature where I hoped that they would put more effort in it, or released it at a later state. Because right now the rewards we got for really high end stuff set the tone for upcoming collection achievements. A complete set of corrupted weapons? Here you get a generic exotic, that’s lame. Why not a cool corrupted themed backpack or a piece of armor?

I also think that there should be a collector achievement for every set in the game, like kitten cultural weapons, etc. These collections are easier to get and may encourage newtimers to collect them aswell.

Oh people do? Here have a look at this video . This what you see on a regular basis now at those dodge trainers. Keeping in mind that all the time they do this there is a huge textbox telling them what to do, if they click it away it will reappear, if they talk to the npc right next to it they will know exactly what to do and they have a HUGE arrow pointing at the endurance bar all the time. This guy made it through, not by dodging but by using a skill, he finished the tutorial but never understood the concept of dodging because he was too lazy to read a 6 liner + he also saw how another player dodged through it.

It’s pointless to cater to these kinds of people, they aren’t overwhelmed by the game they just don’t want to put in any effort, they are lazy. They don’t read, they just want to be entertained. THIS is the crowd that demands more cinematic experiences in a frigging videogame, less interaction, more handholding, NO CHALLENGE.
Those are the same people who have no remorse when they afk every world boss, disrupt dungeon groups with their inexperience and lack of communication skills ( Hey you know what you do when you have no idea how something works? Hint: You ask the group!). If A.Net seriously decided to cater to this group then what’s left for “us”? You know, the people who like challenge, the people who actually like the social aspect of mmos, the people who help each other without expecting any compensation?

What I never understood about underwater combat is, why we deal less damage. The best example would be a guardian underwater.. what were they thinking?
