Well, obviously they’re obligated to explain it in some degree: Imagine if there were no explanation for anything, and players had to figure it all out. How many would stay with the game? Add some tutorial and people will learn much faster, and be inclined to keep playing.

The more they explain in-game, the more people they can get understand it faster, which ultimately means more players and therefore money. There’s a balance they have to find, though, as there are some lengths to which it is not to their advantage to go in explaining the core ideas of the game and genre.

Well yeah that was my question what is A.Net’s job here? Should they explain all the basics of RPGs? In this case.. good luck this will take a while. And will eat up a lot of ressources. I mean jesus.. what’s so wrong about figuring stuff out on your own.

I’m just over weapons that have pieces floating around or leave effects everywhere or look nothing like a weapon you would actually use, ie metaphysical, I just want something that looks cool but realistic.

Gemstore weapons have to be that way to bait people who usually don’t think before they spend money on keys.

Nope and this is where you are wrong. Farmers usually go to one side, kill the champs that give boxes and then run over to the other side, by doing that they drag the mobs over to the other side. Which most of the time results in the death of at least 2 golems that just spawned.

You don’t contribute to the event you just leech and get the same reward as the people who do the actual work. It’s a shame that you actually think that this is okay.

Add champion loot bags to all champion mobs. Problem solved.

Then they should ban those who afk auto attack Jormag with Pact Bazookas during Phase 2 while standing at the safe spot. Those are far worse leechers as they contribute nothing, those who kill the champions kill them so they don’t attack the golems, if everyone did that then everyone would have their extra lootbags, smaller mobs would die as well from aoe/cleave and golems would run safely to Jormag and explode. You don’t have to dps Jormag when he is not stunned, attacking him when he is stunned is enough to kill him, but the leechers want to afk the fight and get the same rewards.

Did you actually read what you quoted like 3 posts earlier? These leechers drag mobs right into the middle to the golems when they change the side.

Also funny that you mention it, you rarely see the leechers running to the claw when there is a burn phase, they rather stay behind.

Well when it comes to rewards.. A.Net basically did that with GW1 all the time. There was no way for example to get the Year 1 christmas hat ever again. They changed the rewards with each year.

Champs at Jormag don’t drop bags. No one is farming champs there.

For all you people who clearly don’t know what they are talking about, this guy is correct and these mobs do drop champ bags. I know because I hang in the back and farm them. To be fair, as a squishy zerker thief, it’s pointless for me to be any closer as his debuffs wipe out my entire health bar and I drop every time.

So why don’t you adapt to this situation and change your gear? Also usually you shouldn’t even get the debuff. Your positioning in the fight seems to be wrong.

I5 will run gw2 decent with dedicated graphics card you will be golden in wvw, its a 50$ more doh. But it will run gw2 way better than your choices.

I doubt that a dualcore processor with 1,7Ghz is a good choice for GW2

I do this world boss daily with a success rate of around 60-75%. There are plenty of guilds that do public runs of this. You just need to join them in a TeamSpeak and taxi onto their map. It’s more involved than Tequatl, but that’s the point. You put in more effort to overcome a harder challenge. You must work with other players in an organized setting to beat Triple Trouble.

tl;dr: don’t change the boss, but maybe have it drop more than just two gold, a bunch of masterworks, and a chance at a mini and crappy ascended armor

2g for like 15minutes of fight is pretty good. And you have a chance of getting some pretty sweet loot from the boxes.

Why the gemstore? It could be a regular reward or part of a reward track.

Yeah it’s boring when you don’t know how the fight works. The fear, the ice spikes and the ice thingies from above all have huge tells.

I really don’t think it’s fair, sure none of the home instance nodes are worth the money, but this harvesting node is the worst offender. Unlike trees and ore which you can hit 3 times each, herbs you can only hit once, and they also give out junk items despite using orichalcum tools. For the insane price of 800 gems, there should at least be 9 plants to harvest to make them on par with the rest of the nodes. Or reduce their price from 800 to 250 gems, because this is just silly.

But enough people bought it so they seem to be happy with it. Never touch a running system.

Hey I tried to send several 0 gem items from the last days from my alt account to my main account and every time that item went straight back to my alt account. I double checked everything when I selected the recipent. So my question is, can you not gift 0 gem items?

Plus some of the bosses you will die if you don’t actively try to avoid AoE. Even if some kind soul rezzes you, it will have stopped the auto-attacking.

I mean you can’t AFK auto attack Tequatl, Claw of Jormag, Golem MkII, Karka Queen (she moves around a lot and can roll over you), Megadestroyer, Triple Trouble, and I’m sure some more.

And this is the point, you can autoattack the boss until you are dead, this will be enough for event contribution.
Run forward to claw of jormag in phase 1 once the wall is down, autoattack until you die and that’s it you are now considered to be on the same level as someone who actively tries to bring down the wall, resses people, supports people via shouts/banners/fearwards, escorts golems, etc.
