And this is where you are wrong this is not an opinion this is a fact. Someone who can, without any effort, open endless amounts of bags will be able to make more money than I do with clicking or even using a scrollwheel to open them, if this is not an advantage, what is? No. You will never EVER get a clear answer. The only thing we know is that music macros are allowed everything else.. who knows. For example “Does opening bags faster than other players give you an ingameadvantage?” Yes it does because the more you open the higher the profit is (bags usually result in profit as long as you open enough).

It’s so freaking easy to pull it off consistently because unlike Mesmer Spatial Surge, Lightning Whip casts so fast you can easily get a rhythm for it.

It was pretty clear from basically every GW2 stream that any “high-level” DD Ele uses the stow weapon trick.

Still, I can easily point out who macros it and who doesn’t. Very few people DO NOT macro it actually. And I think this is an even better reason to look into it.
I don’t think increasing the cast time of Lighting Whip would be a bad thing to do honestly. This way, even if you stow weapons you won’t be able to get the double proc of Signet of Restoration. Watching D/D Eles going back to FULL HP in 4seconds after tanking a crit, Steal+Backstab combo is just ridiculous.

It’s not really overpowered but it is a braindead build that relies on AI.

Had some weird fights today aswell where I wasn’t sure if that was intented to be this way. I fought against some rang 200+ people, while I wasn’t even remotely close to the top 1000. Also I fought against at least 2 premades where with full random groups.

Here is what I think about cliffhangers in this game. EP5 did it extremely well, after the episode was over you thought “Okay, that was awesome, can’t wait to see what’s happening next episode”. In contrast to that after I finished EP6 and EP7 I was more like “what?! that’s it? that’s not enough.. geez I hope the next episode won’t be as short”. The biggest problem right now is the huge break after an episode that didn’t continue the story in any way.

Dont even bother I saw people with legendaries autoattacking single targets with their staff. It’s pointless.

Nope, not my app in OP and nope, zero acknowledgement from ANet. It’s understandable though, it’s a gray area and they rather pretend it doesn’t exist than do anything about it. Still using it daily for the good of the mankind.

I guess I will be using your application haha. If people who exploited snowflakes for ectos were able to plead for and get 72 hour bans instead of permabans. I figure this dps meter can’t really hurt as I am not harming other players or altering the game.

Is it worth though? You get to see a number and that’s it. You can’t compare it with other people because rarely anyone uses a DPS meter.

The problem with the short stories is that, even though they are written by A.Net writers they are apparently not canon.

They were nice stories, though.

The reward was lackluster.. as in “okay we have all the achievements.. let’s randomly assign rewards to them”

Can you please never use this filter ever again? It makes it extremely hard to see AoEs. I think we got the idea of it being something from the past after the first mission.

They already make the equivalent of 7$ per user per month with gemstore transactions. A subscription wouldn’t change a thing.

And the best thing is we don’t even know if we get the finale this year. Maybe they will take another break (and use wintersday as an excuse) after that break we will play EP 8 which is followed by another break until we get a feature patch which is then again followed by a break until S3 starts, that will almost certainly have a mid season break aswell.

If you try to rush through the story, on day one you have nothing for a few weeks, that’s how it is.

I read every dialog, I listened to every little chat in the background and I was done with the story in like 45 minutes. It was short at a point where it shouldn’t be short, makes me wonder what the season finale will be. I bet it will be the same kitten “Sylvari did bad thing!”

Oh and the obnoxious focus on sylvari is just insulting for everyone who plays other races.

Something else that kittened me off was, that my Charr, who is supposed to be a mean tough guy called Majory – “Jory”, like we are friends or something… A.Net is forcing a friendship onto my character.. this is annoying.

Being forced into the position of killing an entire village was just… distasteful. Even though it was a ‘memory’ and we were supposedly acting as another person, having to physically participate in that fight left everyone on my team feeling very sick.

Maybe that’s what you were going for, I dunno, but it marred the storytelling for us. It is one thing for a player to make choices that are less than ‘heroic’, it is another for a game to force a player to act like that.

(Tack on that the PC and Jory’s reactions completely missed the maipulation that was happening, and just described it as Caithe being in some ‘dark places’, and it really felt, well, yucky.)

They recently greenlit macros for instruments, there is no statement of that in their Terms of Service which is really confusing.

Their definition is very unclear so it’s basically a “do whatever you want and we may or may not ban you” policy.

Why does it have to be in the gemstore and not aquirable via other means?

First of all I really hope that this episode marks the change in the way you present your story because this stuff was really good. For me GW2 felt always disconnected from GW1, which is/was a real shame but now you guys seem to understand how to connect these 2 games and that’s what really excites me.

What did I like about the narrative moments? Something that I also enjoyed about the other S2 episodes… I always know exactly what’s going on. Season 1 had so many different small stories all over the world.. it felt so random and disconnected.

What did I like about the content? The libary! the lair! The ruins in the new map with new speculation material.

The way I was adressed as the commander felt more naturally in this episode aswell, I really liked that.

Managed to do it with a group, it’s cleary not working as intended but it felt very rewarding when we finally got it

Yeah, you choose from a list of stats for those. However, keep in mind that they’re level 78 and, thus, won’t have quite the same stats as a level 80 exotic backpack. And any upgrade put in it will have to be lower than level 80, as well.

Wrong. They are actually better than exotic level 80 backpacks WITH upgrade.

A regular level 80 exotic backpack has the following stats with max upgrade:
+22 Power
+16 Prec
+16 Fero

+25 Power
