Every moment you have to move your fingers off the WASD keys to activate abilities is a moment you’re not moving effectively. Especially in PvP movement is half the battle.

At least as it applies to PAXeast, NC Soft sprung for a HUGE middle of the trade floor presentation for Wildstar this year. Even the year of GW2’s launch there was no onsite booth, just five (or six I can’t remember) members of the Anet team who attended four panels.

GW2 had huge panels aswell especially @ gamescom.

Because this falls under the “1 click 1 action” rule. Everytime you rotate the mouse wheel a bit you input 1 simulated click.

Yeah that build should do the job. Good choice of CPU, it’s powerful and gives you the option to overclock if needed (k version). In case you never want to overclock your CPU you could also use the non-k version which is cheaper.

Many players use fullscreen. Try to run the game in windowed on Windows 8.1 and move your mouse to some corner.

They are unsavoury game tactics much like real world espionage. Spies get the death penalty for treason in many countries when caught by enemy but is not outlaw by Geneva Convention 1949 .

GW2 is 50% off this weekend. Any server worth their salt will be purchasing additional accounts and stationing them on enemy servers, if not already. War is unfair, get real ! It’s not aiming for e-sports status.

I am pretty sure that this is not what he meant to say. I think he was trying to say, that there is nothing you can do about it.
Sure, you can report them (not via ingame but via support ticket outside of the game) but this is 1 extremely time consuming and 2 you don’t even know if they are going to do anything about the person you reported because they won’t tell you (I still don’t know why they are doing that).

Also it is sometimes pretty hard to find out whether the person is trying to manipulate your server by, for example, building lots of useless siege engines or if the person is maybe just trying to level up an achievement. The first one should be a bannable offense, the second one… not so sure (imo, it should be)this game attracted way too many " I play how I want I don’t care if it affects you" kind of people and I don’t think A.Net wants to kitten those people off

Too bad that they start with the starting areas, I think they are already crowded enough 30-60 areas should have been the first maps, but still awesome change.

The most sensible thing would be to unlock it for all armor classes otherwise people like me ,who always transformed those skins into pvp variants and therefor getting 1 for each armor class, would have a unfair benefit.

You could buy any cheap sub 700$ laptop and it’ll work. The problem is laptops aren’t made for gaming this means that you don’t get as much performance as you would from a desktop PC, the lifespan of a regular laptop will be reduced drastically when you use it for gaming.

A desktop pc can be small (m-atx) and be cheap.

New accounts seems to have restrictions when it comes to trading:
- can’t buy stuff on the TP but you can sell
- can’t trade in gold for gems
- can’t receive mails or mails with items in it

Those restrictions make sense but the game doesn’t tell you why you can’t for example buy stuff from the TP you’ll only get a “order did not match current listings”-message
I think there should be a clear message that tells your that your account can’t do certain things for 24h(?)

Hi,

Like the title sais, whats the best way to exotic gear (except Black Market, my recources are limited). Im looking for rabid gear, exotic or better, i’ve tried:

- doing Cad… (something) Manor, got 43 tokens in 1 run, took me whole evening and it was very boring. I need approx +1000 for a complete set? This will take a very long time.
- I tried doing a “Train” in the human starting zone for 1 evering, all i got was greens end some prof. materials (don’t have a prof. yet). Why is everybode doing this? I don’t really see the point yet :S
-I also did maybe 2 hours of WvW (i just followed some train). That got me over 400 honor badges. The WvW gear vendor has some nice exotic Rabid gear, can this be used outside of WvW? And if i got ~400 badges in 1 evening, i should be able to get this set in a decent amount of time..

What are your experiences? Pls. help a newbie out

well if WvW worked out well for you go for it. Did you enjoy it? Only do things ingame that you’ll enjoy.
You can also use the karma to buy armor at the Orr Temples but they lack some statcombinations.
