Where do I buy things with guild emblem. Or guild backslot piece?
where do I get higher level underwater helmet?
where do you get mysterious present.
where is the misbehaving wintersday toy?
ya they should make 3 difficulty. easy mode, normal mode and hard mode. Easy mode is for people like me. And you can play the hard mode.
what is inside the giant bag. I give up. I’m bad at jumping puzzle.
Let’s say John and Peter is in a party already. They are looking for more for a dungeon I want to go.
Is there anyway to join John and Peter without whispering them?
Like type “/join John”? Or do I have to whisper them to invite me to party?
I’m an armorsmith and weaponsmith. When I get to lvl80 I have no problem to get exotic armors since I can craft them. On top of that doing dungeons gives token that I can trade for armor.
But for exotic rings and accesory I have problem getting them. I can’t craft them and can’t do dungeon for them. I’m only at fotm 4 so I can’t get them through that. Is there any other easy way to get them?
If I already did the dungeon today, and I start another dungeon run 10 minutes before reset, and finish it 10 minutes after reset. Do I get full credit for the token?
For example I already did cof, but start a cof run 10 minutes before reset, and finish it 10 minutes after, do I still get 60 token?
if you read the description for example basic salvage kit it says 10% chance of rarer material and 20% chance of recovering upgrade.
The 20% chance of recovering upgrade means if you have a rune in armor or sigil in weapon it have a 20% chance of recovering. For expensive rune or sigil it’s a good idea to use the highest salving kit since usually those is worth a few gold.
The 10% chance of rare material means if an item you salvage usually give for example copper ore, you have 10% chance it’ll give you the next tier item which is iron ore. Usually you should use at least basic salvage kit and not crude since those 10% chance is good to get you the next tier item which sells for more. For example if you have lvl75 white cloth armor you should use basic salvage kit since it’ll give you 10% chance to get you gossamer scrap which sells for a few silver.
I’m not sure if you should use fine salvage kit over basic. I think it depend on the price of item. Since fine salvage kit cost alot more than basic. But use at least basic salvage kit for every white item is a good idea.
I look up my monthly achievment and it tell me to kill 5 world invader.
What is world invader? anyone in your server’s borderland?
Or just kill anyone in wvw?
I just did fotm level 1 and can do level 2 now.
There are 3 dungeon for level 1.
If I do level 2, do I just repeat the same 3 dungeon over again? and how many dungeon are there?
Another question is if I was doing fotm level 1, and only did 2 dungeon and leave the game. Can I just do 1 more dungeon next time and be on level 2?
Does the +15% guild karma boost also boost the karma gained from jug of liquid karma?
I believe I read somewhere on the web it does, but when I read the description it only specify karma gained from dynamic event.
I only did 2 dungeon. I fail to see how it’s the problem with the signet build and gear.
I’m using knight gear, shout healing with soldier rune for condition removal. I still faceplant.
The only time I dont’ faceplant is I switch to range weapon and have it easy like other range class.
When I kill a monster there is a red bar under the skill on my mark and battle roar. What doest that mean?
Anyone felt gold seller and not enough reward is a completely different subject?
If anything they need to nerf the rewards more and double the gem to gold exchange rate to combate the gold seller. Which is completely opposite to what everyone is saying.
Just because people is stop buying from gold seller because they stop needing to do it, dont’ mean Arenanet make more money from the gem store.
Making the game less grindy do make the players happier. So they play longer and have higher chance to buy expansion and future content. Which is a valid argument. But that gold seller thing is completely unrelated.
I salvaged 4 items. 3 level 80 rare with some rune/sigil in it, and a lvl70 rare with no sigil.
I use master salvage kit. The 3 lvl80 rare I get the rune/sigil and basic material mithril ore/wood. The lvl70 rare I get wood.
Is that normal? What’s the chance to get ectos from salvaging rare with master salvaging kit? And I’m not sure where to get better salvaging kit. I can’t afford to buy black lion key to try to open chest to have a chance to get good salvaging kit etc…
Can someone explain to me?
do anyone even read the post?
You guys keep talking about grinding etc. The post is asking about balancing of the reward between different type of players. Why is that dungeon runner get more reward for people that dont’ do dungeon etc.
I’m not personally bothered that only dungeon runner get the most reward. I’m just confused why people say things like there isn’t much grind, they can get 10-20 gold a day just running dungeons and some other things. Which is exactly the complaint is about. You get 10-20 gold a day because you run dungeon. If people dont’ run dungeon they get less reward.

I will venture to say that it will get worse. They want you in the cash shop.
The less you can make ingame, the more likely you will open your wallet.
This is not right at all …
Money you can make ingame are more than enought. I can make 10-20g a day just by running dungeons, doing wvw and cursed shore.
Everyone who is saying this just probably wants things for free.
Back to your original topic. You said casual players should get items 10 times slower than hardcore.
That’s true. That is because casual players play 10 times less. But now you the so called hardcore player are having much easier time than casual because you can make much more gold in shorter time by doing dungeons casual players can’t do. That’s the problem.
Why are casual players spending more time and make less gold than hardcore player?
The OP want to nerf dungeon on par since casual players have a hard time find group for dungeon. They log on try to play 1 hour or 2 and spend most of those time looking for group.
Wait you find dungeons hard? I find every dungeon easy even for casuals. Look AC for instance … Whoever can do this dungeon without effort
And casuals can defintely do all 3 paths in 2 hours
HC can do them in 1 hours tho ..
Ofcourse experienced can do those dungeons fasters, they know what to do ..But I wont argue with you here
everyone has his own oppinion and I am not saying your is wrong and mine is right. Let Arenanet decide, they have all those tools to mesure everything. They already did neft Arah path 3 farm and I am glad they did.
I am definitely sure if they see too big difference between dungeon rewards and the open world one, they will change it
just be patient
You read the OP’s post again, he also says what if he is on a low population server, finding a group is hard.
You read my post again I said what if casuals log on 1 to 2 hour a day and can’t find a group.
I dont’ know if dungeon is hard or not, I’m just saying finding a group itself is already a hard thing to do. You probably logon many hours a day, you can find dungeon group everyday. That is not so true for people who only log on 1 to 2 hour a day.
This game need LFG system like some other game have. And not everyone like to do dungeon.

I’m currently in a guild at the moment. I want to creat an alt. If I want to join the same guild with my alt, does that take up a guild spot?
I’m wondering which sigil should I buy for my weapon.
Can someone suggest/explain some of the popular sigil?
I’m thinking of using sigil of blood/fire. Are those any good? or if anyone can suggest some other popular sigil. I’m mainly for pve farming or dungeon.
I got a back slot item from my personal story at lvl30-40. I’m now lvl80, I want a better back slot item. How do I search it from the trading post? I tried armor and trinket, can’t seem to find it.
I’m new to the game, and just got to level80. I’m wondering what I should do with the gear I pick up. Specific lvl70+ white, blue, green, yellow, exotic.
Should I salvage, vendor or???
what does it mean by shouts healing? Is it a trait? I cant’ find a trait called shout healing
can pvt armor be crafted? or is it weapon only that can not be crafted?
When I try to sell things to vendor, only things in my starter backpack is visible. Items in my other bag I can’t sell to vendor. I have to move the item into my starter bag to sell.
Is this intended? Or is there other easier way to sell things to vendor from my other bag.
HC can do them in 1 hours tho ..
