FSP had super bugged queues yesterday, we could not go over to FSP and defend, which is a “great excuse” it is both true and a good reason for us to have painted the rest of Gunnar’s map Blue.

However, I want us to remember and think back on, the maps were never designed for us to own the entire map, we have our “Own sections” and they used to be fought over a lot more when there were orbs around.

I’m very glad to harass in enemy borderlands, as long as we do not lose everything on own, and sometimes even then.

Gunnar’s some of you are worthy opponents, I will not argue that, but I feel sorry for most of you going up in higher tiers than you’ll be able to handle, and even if xaoc have a good presence it will not make up for the rest of your issues. They will get tired of carrying the server on their play hours.
Similar to what happened on Far Shiverpeaks on primetime. back in t1.

We haven’t alwasy had Xaoc, they’re transferred recently… so we usually fought without them and at a certain point we fell down from higher position and did our best to go up (and we did it before Xaoc)… so which will be the difference? We’ll do our best, we’ll enjoy fighting and when we’ll go down at lower tier than now, we’ll face the situation and have fun…

This match is great, we’ve fun and a lot of fight… so stop discuss of alliances between ms and fs or ms and gh… it’s nonsense, because there isn’t such a thing, we often fight with the two enemies at the same time and it’s happened also to fs and ms… so guys have fun.

That xaoc hasn’t been with you forever is exactly my point. We fought against them when they were on Blacktide too. So this is where we get our revenge. :P

What does this error code mean?

I’ve been tryign to figure out what my normal issues are caused by, while pinging an playNC server I ended up getting disconnected with this error message.

Other than that I was having great ping to that server, but still lagging in game.

Does ArenaNet have ANY Tools to provide us so we can help troubleshoot this crap?

I think people tend to forget, that with the full reset it’s not ONLY About who we are fighting right nwo and what points we get ourselves, but the rating we get compared to OTHER matchups that will decide where we end up.

It’ been an intereting week thus far.

Arrowcart do not close to as much damage as they used to / should I hate that.

Fights on Gunnar’s Hold map today were really nice.

Too bad Miller’s couldn’t capture hills even if we kept them alone in their corner for hours while attacking bay and garrison, so they could take kills..

btw, how much people have Miller’s lost to higher tier German servers?

Gunnar’s, I’m glad you’re enjoying your rising in tiers, but to say that We have superior numbers on primetime is kinda silly, isn’t it?

Wow, first some from FSP try to openly make an alliance with Miller’s. Miller’s refuses and now some act kitten when Miller’s attacks you using standard 3- way tactics – As if you were entitled to Miller’s cooperation. The arrogance is mind boggling. But I’m sure these are just a few bad elements and not representative of the whole server. :-)

“Trying to make an Alliance” is not as close to the truth as you might want it to be.

All it was was being practical. Miller’s best option would be to help us Sandwich Gunnar’s at any oportunity they get, not help Gunnar’s defend their keeps and towers by trying to clear us of them. :P

Let’s be honest. Most matches are decided by the 48 hour mark. For uneven match-ups that means the servers are just waiting for reset.

I completely disagree with this.
I’m on a server that’s very strong on the week days, stronger than on weekends. This means that during the weekend we might appear weaker and then catch up during the week.

Nice to see that FS can show what we’re worth in this matchup still. Our weekly day time crews are really solid.

Miller`s Sound will never alliance with any enemy Server, so don`t worry.

At least this way you do not have to worry about if it has happened or not. That is something that kills morale if anything.

Judging from the awesome, massive battle FSP vs Miller in/between hill and your spawntower on our map atm you guys are way too much fun to fight to pass up on that.

There’s always going to be fights over everything, if we can take easy points we will. We can not control everyone.
But certain times a day I can promise you that if you do not attack us, we will nto attack you.

Is it just me or do we have crappy server this week a lot of rubberbanding and delay on skill animations randomly at times in small and bigger battles, didn’t have this before.

Have been having the same problems all day….about a 1 sec delay on many skills and not even fighting in a zerg :/

Their new and superior culling I guess.
I keep glitching out at least 5 times / hour during any type of prime time.

step 2: get them to use all their invisibility skills
step 3: run into pug zerg and spam melee attacks and aoe
step 4: collect lewt

bonus points if you do something clever like portal around the side of a wall

We do it as 5-10 people against 40… Works too .:P
Or actually: We do nto use veil. We pop shadow refuge around a corner, go in. If we need to retreat we go for mass invis.

From what I can see we fight both sides equally, the respective progress depends on the resistance. Imo the ‘ganging up on the leader’ usually ends with one of the runner-ups turning on the other for 2nd place anyway (happened to Miller before at least).

So far I enjoy the rather close race, looks like we are going to have some fierce battles this week.

But FSP never sleeps… I was up 24hrs from 4am Saturday, till this morning.. >_< then slept only 6-7hrs.
I had people in my guild still fighting tooth and nail when I logged back on.

I’m enjoying the matchup tho. These tiers are even.

I do feel a bit sorry for Gunnar’s to end up in higher tiers than msot of them are used to or can handle tho.
Having your point tally saved by one guild, at early morning, can’t be a very satisfying way to play can it?

Then again, I mean we have people who actively play at night, beacuse we’re nigth rats, don’t lag out as much those hours and so forth.

There is no new way of calculation..is only a reset to 1500 as http://mos.millenium.org/matchups shows. So its seems to be correct.
So Whiteside Ridge and Ruins of Surmia will be the top 2 servers on the new ranklist cause they are fighting against 2-2 “wvw empty” servers, so they will get the highest +rating now. But after then for a couple of weeks they will get “the old top servers” as enemies..so slowly they will go back to their old tier7-8. But till that they will lose more wvw players because of the hopeless fights against much more wvw populated servers.

Yes there will be a new way of calculating. They are adding/fixing/modifying something, which is anotehr reason for why they decided to reset it as well.

They are also revising the math behind the ratings formula but these changes are not yet known (source).

Here’s my net log, since I’m still getting these issues.
Not every 5 minutes anymore, but way too often.

They are talking about that they are going to fix it. I’ve heard it from reading this full thread and some other places.
I actually even thought it was added in the latest patch, but apparently not.

Run around for 1-2 minutes. Get kicked off with this message.
I feel that I don’t properly connect to the Login-server as I can’t talk in Gchat either.

This has gotten worse since the last build, not that I know if it’s related.

When in game I’m not being skill locked (right now) before this happens, and can run around and interact with everything “as usual”.

Any tips and tricks?

One of our guildmates lives in Australia (we are a EU server located guild) and he gets the dailies for tomorrow, and has the same issue.
When he killed veterans yesterday, while having today’s daily achievement, he kept crashing.

Um, they did not remove it. The patch came before the rotation of the dailies and you got a new daily after about an hour or so. I actually got two dailies yesterday.

Not really impressed with what i have seen so far regarding Drakkar Lake.
Was looking forward for a good fight but all i have seen is just portal bomb after portal bomb. You guys obviously have the numbers, why the need for crutches ?
Hopefully your commanders will learn that hey can use other tactics and wont ruin good fights with this garbage in the future.

At least we get out of playing Gunnar’s next week, which feels good.

UW, good luck and have fun one tier down, I think it can be a well deserved break for you, except that you’ll be running into RoS down there.. Just keep your chin up.

And yes, when you’re behind in points you will always have less random people joining. For some reason they don’t want to join when you’re “losing” :P We experienced a lot of that the past 13 weeks.

On primetime we do have all borders covered with people and at times even queues on all of them, even if they are not much longer than 5-10min.

The past 13 weeks have been a rough ride for us here on Far Shiverpeaks. It started with our beloved Russian mob leaving us for greener pastures. Following them were a few other guilds, and a few more, and then a few more. But not everyone ended up leaving Far Shiverpeaks for another server. Some of us stayed behind.

Those who left told us WvW was dead, they told us we’d never go anywhere. I knew we could, we knew we could. Not only that we could, but that we would.

“You are in Tier 7” you might say. Yes we are, and kitten proud of it. For the past 6 weeks we’ve had a weekly meeting discussing our strengths and our differences. For the past 6 weeks we have stabilized. For the past 6 weeks we have showed ourselves that we can do it.

Together we figured out how we can jell together. The jelling process is still ongoing and we are not planning to stop fighting any time soon.

In a few days paid transfers are coming, before then you have to know if you’re staying or going. We do not even know yet what the big WvW patch brings; What we do know is that the Far Shiverpeakians are a strong breed, and we welcome you to join us.

Necromancer’s AoE doesn’t even trigger (Marks) unless someone else stepps into it, it doesn’t trigger on downed players. It’s quite a pain when you mainly run staff, to try and kill a downed player.
When someone tries to revive them it makes me happy!

Those who stayed fought hard to for it, those who left not so much.

It is not about being in T1, if it is you probably should switch servers, and you will keep switching servers. It’s not about roflstomping the enemy to “rise a server in ranks”. But finding a good match up.

As soon as we found our tier, t7 and proud, we’ve stayed in it for 6 weeks. Last weeks matchup was the first week we turned back around (after Dzagonur ran through our tier and stomped on us a bit).

The server switching doesn’t help anyone. It will just upset the balance either way.

Focus on doing what you can with what you still have left, and wait to find the tier that fits you. You’ll get there, and on the way you’ll get 3-5 guilds join you and it will become a nice server to play with again.

ps. Whining about PvEers will not help you. Instead encourage the rest of the server to join you for server wide events in WvW and show individual “PvEers” that WvW can be fun.
