Maloki don’t try and make us look bad by leaving FSP. We did everything we could to help FSP after the first set of guilds vanished. Everyone at VcY still has alot if respect for FSp and its community and we are more interested in your match up than ours.

I know why me and my guild is staying, that is good enough for me. Can we not whine about staying or going, and focus on discussing the actual matchup?

I had a lot of fun yesterday, jumped into EB for some quick support because no commanders were there. Fortunately I joined at the same time as another commander, we had about 30-40 people with us.

The 3 way battle between FS, DL and JS by Speldan and the Three Spirit for a good 30 minutes was amazingly epic, and FS did really good even if I’m convinced we were outnumbered most of the time. We had a lot of fun in there!

I was informed that FS BL needed immediate support, we jumped over, kicked kitten and recovered most of our BL before I had to break for the evening. Then I had a lovely break from WvW for a few hours (still am having it) and enjoyed PvE with mah friends and laughed my kitten off.

Booyah! ANd also, when I jump in to take over any commander I always bring a few extra guildies, and people from LA, way to go positive reinforcement.

What is it with people “trolling” other matchup’s threads.
I did it with the Blacktide matchups I guess, when we on FSP lost GF and Nug for them. ;( Just to tell them and remind them that I loved them..

Anyways, I am enjoying this matchup even if we’re “losing”. I actually really do not mind.
Soon we’re clear of afew more guilds that apparently aren’t in it for the longhaul, in the mean while we have people that are getting more and more in touch with each other. Guilds bonding together in Alliances that weren’t there before.

We will persevere. We will flurish, and guess what? WE WILL HAVE FUN while doing it <3

(I don’t care if the initial post was a troll, here’s what’s going on for me)
I’m currently co-leader of my guild, after having been just an officer since launch, but part of the community for 7rs.
With 2 extra officers underneath us we’re now managing a lot more efficient. With a lot of guilds already having left our server I am not as obsesssed with helping/saving/stepping up/being there for everyone anymore. I am, but not the 10hrs aday I’d easily put in before (or just the 6hrs management without actually playing).
Other than the guild, I’m currently the sole representative of our Alliance, I take a great deal of responsibility in coordinating the server, and I’m one of 2 admins on our community forum. (farshiverpeaks.com)

I have told everyone that because I can’t possibly do everything in a day it’s all about baby steps now. The game is going to be around for years to come. I am focusing on creating a stable base for the community on our server so we can stay and enjoy each others company.

The people who are still here hardly cares if we drop to the bottom tier (we went from t1 to t6 in a few weeks when guilds started leaving). We focus on having fun. I try to focus less about the numbers and more about each encounter I have when in WvW.

Agian; DELEGATE. Trust others that want to help you, release control. And give yourself a day a week (yes I know it’s hard) that you wont play. And reward yourself ONE RESET that you do not log on.

Oh a tip; Always be in a 5man party, this increases your chances of loot, since your combined damage ( or some there of ) counts towards the threshold for getting loot.

I know exactly which supp camp you’re refering to as I’ve fought ppl running back and forth to that spot.

It’s not close to any spawn at all, yes there’s legendary guards up on the hill but the invulnerable spot is down from the guard, in the actual battlefield BUT, it’s just a small spot where you’re untouchable from enemy damage.

So yes, this should be considered as an exploit and to all knuckleheads using it, grow a pair and fight on equal terms or just log off from w3.

I only see people (in our own case) run back there when you’re about to get steamrolled by a 30-50man zerg. And you yourself is 10-15 people

Great morning. Was nice to recap some stuff in EB after taking all of FSP back in 30-60min. (with 1 golem I might add… )

I do dislike the whole night-capping thing, especially these days when we’re really low on numbers and have like no chance to compete.

At least without the 5man aoe cap you’d have a chance against a zerg when you were 5-10 people.

We are very social, kid around and have yet to have any drama in the guild since the release of GW2.
We’ve been together for 9 yrs, but with the release of GW2 we have plenty of new people. Yet we seem to find a home for our new members pretty quick.

We aim more to have fun than to be hardcore (thus casual) we’ll never force a player to do something they do not want to do. This doesn’t stop some of our players to be more hardcore tho.

Hey mate,
We can welcome you to a guild with a lot of active members. We declare ourselves casual (for the sole reason that we do not enforce anything) but are in many cases perceived as hardcore, especially in WvW.

I must warn you, we are no fair weather guild, and have stuck with our server when a lot of the other active and big guilds in WvW are leaving. We’re located on Far Shiverpeaks.
There’s Dungeons, Fractals, WvW and PvP happening among our members on a daily basis. We host events on a regular basis (2-4 a week).

At daytime we have around 20 members online, primetime between 30-40 and on night time somewhere between 5-10.

yes we dropped tremendously! That’s because we do not have the manpower anymore with more than 10 active WvW guilds transferring out. And 2 more are leaving this week.

It is interesting to see the fights we’re putting up even when we are outnumbered.

I just say tho Drakkar, Good work with those veils! You really know when and how to do them to totally annihilate our team. However, it’s not hard to annihilate a group of 20 people max when you’re 30 or 40.

You have great coverage and good lock-down. Unfortunately we couldn’t pull off the tactics I was aiming for.

It is still the weekend tho, will be interesting to see what this week brings.

Hi Snowbkitten! (doesn’t it get chilly?)

I am of the the co-leaders of a casual PvX guild with an active WvW team (I have responsibilities for WvW and Recruitment as well) and to me it sounds like you’d feel right at home in our guild.

We do get a bit rowdy at times, but it’s all in good fun and the laughs are aplenty. We’re a very social guild and will never force anyone into any activities they do not want. We currently have 155 members, with about 60 of them logging in on a daily basis.

You can find us on Far Shiverpeaks (EU) but since we’re an International guild we have people from all over. NA, EU and AU. This means we basically have players online 24/7.

We host various events each week, for WvW, PvP and Dungeons / Fractals. We also encourage our members to step up and create the event they are interested in. We do not believe in officers doing all the work and deciding when their members should do what.

As for WvW, we’re in an Alliance with whom we have WvW events at least once a week, but now one of our commanders are back from vacation and a new guild in it are bringing in their own commander.

Our sPvP team is new and definitely up and coming with dedicated members, both new and old.

I tried the various supply depots, but the only appear to have upgrades for the camps themselves. When I say Borderlands, I’m referring to the bottom right, or left-hand corners.

I think there is / have been on one of the maps.

If you look closely the NPC’s are in different places on all the maps. So I never remember on which of the maps they are on >_>

We are currently looking to recruit about another 50 casual/active members to see where we land and how it pans out.

We expect people to be having their holiday break soon, that will both increase and decrease activity depending on which members of the guild we’re looking at.

Our organized WvW runs are getting more and more fun, and today we had our first tPvP event!

• Graceful – Most of the games are good games, so you shouldn’t make a point about it if you win or lose it. Be graceful in defeat, and magnanimous in victory.

• Well Mannered – Maintaining a good attitude is essential. Childish and Obnoxious behaviour is not tolerated, which includes abusive behaviour, swearing, etc.

• Support – Always provide help and advice wherever needed, if one would ask us how things work, we should treat them nicely and help them instead of saying things like RTFM.

• Code of Silence – We don’t wish to be a clan known for whining. There will always be people like that flaming other people or even clans and WE WILL NOT be one of those. If someone flames you, dont argue or disrespect them or their clan in return, just ignore the person because they arent worth your time and effort.

• Playtime – The most important thing: play when you can. Of course it is nice that you have the opportunity to play in a nice clan, but of course real life comes first!

• Availability – Let us know when you’re available for practices / matches. We don’t expect u to be there every dayJust don’t forget to tell other people when you are unable to come to a game or meeting.

It wouldnt make any sense, you’re asking to get a buff for having less players? In all honesty that 50 man zerg should be able to kill you unless you outskill/play them, or you have siege set up. Theres no reason why we should increase cap limit for that. And even for portal bomb turtling, i still wouldn’t want aoe cap limit increased. I dont run with zergs of 50, but thats just my 2 cents.

We were actually NERFEd to start with. Just make the change better

The 5 target cap is kinda ridiculous. Before 5 people could very well defend a tower (we still can with proper siege) from 20-40 people. Now it’s more like “Oh lol let us just faceroll you because you’re outmanned”

At least I see us catching up on these points. Moah

A big thanks to everyone who participated, if I could chose a server I would like to merge with one day in the future it would be far shiverpeaks, you guys are class. Unfortunately I witnessed more alt-f4ing from FR to keep such a high opinion of them! Regardless of that, they fought well and gave us a great week of war

All the guilds and individuals that worked together this week to bring it all together were heroic! On behalf of myself and SN, a big thanks for everyone’s efforts and gargantuan repair bills

Honestly, focus on pwning primetime. And afternoons. Do not strain yourself with night crews (I just did it for a week, and phew it takes a lot of energy).

Gandara and Fort Ranik should know that from Far Shiverpeaks, at least every time I’ve been leading any groups the target have been the ones with the most points. Either currently potential or overall.

Gandara have been really good at holding down the fort in their borderlands. And we were a bit disappointed last night when you went to take our entire map as well, if you hadn’t we would have stayed in this tier. (I do understand it however, we would have done the same)

FS was 1.2 in rating points from staying in t5. And did now drop to t6.

I wish you all a great new matchup, and try to remember; Discuss the current matchup not the guys you fight the week before. I got a bit dismayed by all the Jade Sea posts in this thread.

What is currently happening on Far Shiverpeaks for WvW:
- We are getting new members to the server and to the guilds.
- We see an increase in tactics (when we have enough players) to pull off crazy things.
- We are having a lot of fun again ( at least I know I am!)
- Increase in communication between commanders and planning to not invade the same BL
- Crazy tactics = Laughs!

To me it sounds like you want to be with Dynasty Warriors on Far Shiverpeaks. We have are a casual PvX guild with an active WvW team, and an up and coming sPvP team!

On Saturdays at 20.00 (CET) we have a dedicated PvP night, and we have about 1-2 WvW events / week. Together with this we have an open door policy that encourages all of our members to just kick something off to happen! No need to wait for an officer to tell you what to do really.

We’re an international guild and have gathered up some NA and AU players as well as our main EU base. This means we have people online most hours of the day.

Yes. You know having a night crew takes it’s toll. We didn’t give up last night tho, I must say. Wed-Thursday was one of the better night crews. Today was really good as well, considering!

It was fun to push Fort Ranik off the map in EB “together” with Gandara ( not i was not planned, because they totally went after us afterwards to catch up the last 10k points or so)

I really hope FS keeps fighting during the day today and realize that it will make the last bit of difference we need to stay in this tier. And for morale I really believe we will need to stay in this tier!

I finally got you today! I met you in EB last night. Necro vs necro, commander vs commander. Yday you managed to run away! Today… Moah! … then you got to kill me too.

However it was a nice fight against this team of what were you 4 Guardians? Gandara put up a good fight by that tower.

Oh oh and Fort Ranik, did you almost hsit your pants when we sort of busted into both Briar and Bay at the same time out of now where? Good times good times!

Oh wait.. I just realized you wanted the guild to be Aussie, that we do not have to offer. I will give you an idea of what we offer non the less.
We’re an EU based guild with an international members base. We have a few recent recruits fron AU, and some NA people as well on the side of that. Some of our members in the EU plays at really off hours (not primetime) which makes us having an international guild work for everyone!

We’re currently about to reach 150 members total, and yesterday 61 of them logged in (did not check the other resent days). We all speak English both in gchat and on TS.
