1. How do you feel overall about reward tracks?
Overall it’s great! I ended up opting out of WvW due to wanting achievements (like the dungeon gear etc) elsewhere in the world. Since WvW it’s a pvp content, it makes sense that it would have a reward track just as normal PvP does.

2. What are your thoughts on the rate at which you gain participation?
In general the participation gain seems okay, however I found myself with some concerns. I was running around defending towers, but not through events, but by destroying enemy siege, and there I was losing all my participation, because destroying enemy siege did not count towards participation. I realize that this could also be “fixed” for me by being in the Commander Squad, and get assigned a role of scout, but this was not me being a dedicated scout, but rather just temporarily doing it at my own accord.

3. How do you feel about the rate you earn reward track points?
I did feel that the rate was good. I need to ask however: Does the % increase reward track progression work for this reward track, or only the PvP one?

4. Overall, what are your impressions about the types of reward tracks we have?
Dungeons unlocked by completing story mode, check. Unlocking map rewards, check.
Yeah looks good.

5. Are there any other reward tracks you would really like to see?
Maybe offering some reward track which offers a BLC Key? It could be unlocked after all other repeatable ones have been completed once. Or something like that.

Now, the real question is: Why doesn’t the other Christmas Tonics count towards this achievement?
Gift Dolyak Tonic, Princess Doll Tonic, Plush Griffon Tonic, Toy Golem Tonic, Toy Ventari Tonic, and Toy Soldier Tonic?

There’s plenty of supply of them. I think people would be happier if they had a chance to get on those (considering the supply) if it was added to the achievement.

It Auto-selects a new track for you.

Pretty simple question…but I can’t figure it out.

When your experience bar fills up, but you haven’t yet spent the mastery points, where does the experience you earn go?

Please tell me it’s not just lost… that would be horrible, Anet. Sometimes people might go quite a while before noticing that their bar filled up. I don’t think it’s fun game play to stare at my bar all the time trying to avoid lost experience.

I thought it might go to the next tier in the same mastery line, but it seems it does not. Where does it go?

When this happens, switch to a different Mastery Line and go hunting for the nearest Mastery Points, so you can train the others.
The XP will mysteriously disappear, and it’s very frustrating. It is also frustrating since it isn’t very visible when you complete it, ie it doesn’t draw attention to itself. So when we were doing the tyria ones we missed out a few times taht we had completed it.

Supply Line Management – 3rd tier in Pact Commander. May seem tricky to find the vendors? Well I got a solution for you!

Each of the merchants stay within a designated area. ie: Maguma Jungle, Shiverpeaks, Ascalon etc.

Auto-loot doesn’t seem to work in WvW, edge of the mist in this case. is this intended?

To be fair, HoT is a bit grindy… well, for me and some people anyway. I’d be perfectly satisfied if the grindy parts were 90% of what they are now. Just a minor issue with it, nothing to really tarnish all the great stuff in the expansion.

That said, if it was an option for me right now, I’d be playing, not waste time on the forum… sigh

How is this relevant to my question/suggestion?

When we max out the Experience bar for the Mastery Progression nothing significant happens, it flashes a little bit, if you pay CLOSE attention to it. If you don’t you keep earning exp that goes No Where, and you lose out.

Can we get a Much Clearer indication that it is time to learn it your chosen Mastery?

It is supposed to equal or higher than leveling! When you level we get a big boom in the middle of our screen. Shouldn’t this end game progression feel a bit grander as well.

A little bit of polish here would go a long way, and making the system a lot more intuitive and clear.

Other than that, I must say that the mastery system is incredibly nice, and well thought out. And I do not agree with that HoT is grindy.

I finished the Pact Commander mastery and as soon as the loot should have come in I crashed. After testing: Every time I get loot the game crashes.
Luckily you can shut this feature off, so I did that for now (it’s the Autoloot: Quick Interact option for the people interested), but I would love to have this feature fixed, I didn’t grind my kitten off for nothing

This should work now though! (We unlocked it last night and it works fine)

I just did this, two times with it bugging, then I read this thread and looked at some videos.
In the videos where they completed it they fought the mobs on the platform in the middle, while when it had bugged for me I had kited them around a corner at the edge of the room.
So, I tried killing them in the middle. I do not know if it has any relevance, but if anyone has troubles try this!

I have just repaired the game, and ended up with 5-20 fps in Rata Sum.

Worst thing with these FPS drop issues is that you start to question your own rig, not realizing it’s the game (at first).

On numerous occasions, quite at random, I encounter a sound bug and then my game proceeds to immediately crash.
I have repaired my game, ankitten ow doing it again.
The sound problems with GW2 seem to have extended even further now, because when GW2 is running it screws up the sound for the rest of my computer, which is why I am repairing the game again.

Has anyone else encountered issues like this?

Is it intended that we gain No Karma, and no XP off the events and the mobs?
That makes the no reward even more infuriating to be honest (even if we will gain the rewards retroactively)

I only saw one that was about how the actual buff served no benefits, considered posting there, but for me it was not the same topic. Since I think the buff itself is nice, and now it just needs a name change.

We already know we’re up against really terrible odds against 50 people more than us. Don’t rub it in our faces.

Heading into the battlefield in that case you don’t want to be reminded of that they are 100000 more than you. You want to be reminded of how courageous you are.

What if we could change the name of this buff to well.. “Courageous”
Instead of default to demoralizing our troops. There’s a lot of psychology in this game, having the developers at Anet demoralizing the teams that are already the underdog isn’t really fair, is it?

Last night while I was playing, my reward chests from WvW were stacking up on the side, as I decided to not open them yet, I wanted to save the inventory space.
Lo and behold, in the evening after having gained 13 ranks, I open 4 chests + daily, and then the rest were gone… I almost cried, but apparently I am not the only one with issues like this..

Will I ever get those chests, or are they just lost?

I am currently encountering this problem.
My guild is not displaying it’s tag, the people in it, the upgrades, nothing.

Which kinda sucks because there’s a lot of stuff in that guild bank

If you double click on it and it ‘sticks’ to your cursor then the right thing is happening. You are now supposed to click on the thing you want to apply it to.

I can NOT double click it. Nothing happens, (Well something happens I lift it up, that’s all). This means I can not even try to apply it to any item. I’ve tried both from my bag, and from my Hero tab.

Pretty sure that All items that are usable have a Use option when you right click on them.

I bought a Superior Sigil of Fire, and I can’t get a use function on it, for some unexplainable reason.

I’ve tried 3 things.
- I Logged out and logged back in, also logged another character.

- I sent it to another guild mate, who could use it all fine (he exited when he got the confirmation window) then he sent it back to me and I still don’t have a use function.

- I then sold the sigil, and bought a new one, and still can’t use it.

:(

Has anyone encountered this problem?

Edit: Just checked, I dont havve the Use Function on any Sigils

Last nights reset was an homage to one of our dead friends. He used to always play the reset and a lot of WvW with us, and he loved having fun.

Also, I want to thank everyone for a great matchup, and it’s quite evident that FSP only did so well because we had spies on all servers. (Screen shot for evidence)
Meeting Gandara and AG will always be a benchmarking experience, and I’m quite satisfied. Even if I found out that our guild will never be Fury, which makes me very comfortable with a few of my members being in Fury, or close to their playstyle, but we have fun, and love it all along the way.

I want to thank Fury for giving DW a chance today in a GvG. Unfortunately most of our core players did not show up, some were asleep (all that 24/7 wvw takes it’s toll) and for some Wednesday this week was a very bad day.

We didn’t prepare more than usual, since we’re a very casual guild. The aim was to benchmark, only to see how huge the difference is, not because I thought we’d have any reach chance.

After our little encounter (i do apologize for wasting your time btw), me and some of my members joined the AoA raid that was going on on the Gandara map. And I must say I quite enjoyed it. Scouting around, giving reports, getting the occasional loot bag.
And the great thank you from Caest when I left to defend our! I do miss you in DW sometimes. Will definitely join again.

Ended up on the AG map. Running around teasing Kiss on the ruins. Is it just me or are pugs more attentive now that they can actually see everyone? Was a cool experience non the less.
Random guy came on the map, asked for us to go for Garrison, he needed a Vista. I went for Garrison! We didn’t get inside 2nd gate, but he got his Last vista!

I want to thank everyone, on both sides for the great fun I’ve had tonight!

Maybe they just fixed the previous issue with people not being able to get on the map. While also breaking the queue.. heh..

I was really looking forward to try out the server “in full” after the patch, without any new guilds inc.

Anyways, there’s technically no official confirmation from anyone from Xaoc so and they did ask for a MEETING which has not been held yet.

As a GL of one of the bigger guilds on Far Shiverpeaks (at least active in WvW) I today got approached by one of the xaoc leaders about one of the branches (no idea which, Russian at least) wanting to discuss the possibility of them coming to our server.

I plain out told them that I really do not want them here. And then further brought it up with the other GMs and Officers.

We’ll see what it brings. We know they are server hoppers, and that they will stick around for a few weeks and then leave again. And I guess that’s just something we have to deal with, if they want to pay the 32g (or whatever) for the gems to come here, let them. Either way we can’t really stop them.

Kaleygh, I did in no way say I was celebrating. I was glad about the matchup. And we’ve done great this weekend. I do not see anything wrong in being happy about that fact.

We encountered a lot of great fights last night with TNA. I am proud to say we stood strong, ( we did get our kitten kicked a few times ) but kitten did we scout well!

I am truly enjoying this matchup, and am sort of giggling at the fact people were super worried about how we’d do in t4.

FSP is actually weak in the weekends.

@Fury, we were looking forward to fight you on reset, but we were mostly on your map. And later defended against some of your guys while you were inside the lordsroom of our Garrison, was nice and clean. But figured that most of you guys were to bed and that it wasn’t that organized, not like us at the time.

I truly enjoyed playing tonight. We had a decent cross guild organized force tonight in our night crew. This was our best reset in weeks actually. Might prove that we’re ready for for t4 after all. Then again, maybe primetime with all the guild events will prove us wrong.

I mean we’ve had XxX on our server, we adored them and miss them (great inspiration tho). Meeting Fury before we have as well, and it’s going to be quite interesting to benchmark ourselves against you this week.

We did get to do one nice save at Garrison during the night, loved it so much! Our 16yr old commander lead that. Such an amazing little guy

There is always going to be someone who’s complaining about the commander who “just lost Bay” or “just lost SM” or whichever keep. However, considering the time of day, we could just as blame all of them for sleeping to get up for work, but do we? No.

So don’t worry really. You shouldn’t even give them the time of day. You did great yesterday, and we had a lot of fun.
There’s just a few things you need to polish. But none of us are perfect.

I find this thread entertaining, but seriously guys. Why can’t we just be happy and focus on the good parts of the matchup like: It’s an even match and that makes it fun to play?

Also, commenting on “having to be at work” is just stupid, especially with the demeaning “cough cough” insinuating that the rest of us don’t work, dont want to work and are just scrubs. It’s kinda rude. Not everyone works 9-5. And for my own guild we’ve mainly recruited people who play outside of the normal “primetime” of 4hrs.
Some are students, some are inbetween jobs, some work nights, someone work shifts of 1-2 weeks then off for 1-2 weeks. Some have legitimate medical issues that also keeps us at home. I mean the possibilities are endless, stop being so kitten narrow-minded.

I also had very delightful talk with some FSP fellas and it explained some of the things that happened, some are still not that clear. But meh, I don’t care. The fights are good and its couple silvers we lost there to something.

Yeah I really wasn’t in the mood for coming on TS again, had 2 meetings on there already today.
And revealing my female charms to the enemy didn’t feel like a good idea either.

The zoom thing is actually also a known BUG, so some people will not know they are encountering a bug while using it.
Might want to keep that in mind as well
