Borlis Pass would definitely be a great choice given your criteria. There are several BP guilds which should be a good fit. Go to Borlis.org for more information (there’s a guild subforum which you might want to check out).

It seems that some of you are quite frustrated with your server atm, maybe have been for awhile. I’m not calling out any servers or guilds in particular, but it’s just pretty obvious from reading these forums. If that describes you or your guild, all I can tell you is Borlis Pass is a server on the rise in wvw, we’re big enough to be effective without constant queues, there’s room for roamers and small groups but there’s also zergs if that’s your thing, and we all pretty much get along great. Just yesterday when retaking our eb keep, I glitched through the inner gate that faces our spawn for no reason. 2 other NSP also got through with me at roughly the same time and we have no idea how we got through. Yes and its very disappointing. We are already at a disadvantage as far as numbers game goes. But not being able to upgrade 2 of our towers makes it that much tougher. O well looks like we have accepted the challenge anyway

Clearly, we need to petition to have ANET remove entry into all towers and structures for the remainder of the week, AND temporary removal of all doors/gates in Stonemist. Then we can happily play (kick the kitten) out of each other for the remainder of the week.

The Pass is kind of balanced by now, from inside people get along as usual, post small dramas as entertainment in borlis.org (example: Monkey Shinezz threads about), trade knowledge about several matters regarding to PvE + Craft + toons builds, discuss tactics for WvW, even from the new big Guilds coming from outside there is balance … I’ve notice after a while that for every good from [Lost], there are now the arrogance from [Krew], a kind of thesis and antithesis that drives Borlis Pass forward.

Sigmar, Krew is a great addition to BP and I have no clue why u say this. They are very good, but not arrogant at all.

Is an ele dropping a couple skills on you before he gets blown over by a wave of aoe and vapor forms back into the keep game changing? I know it’s not because I play ele. Vapor form is next to useless in every other setting, just putting off the inevitable like 75% of the time. Is it really worth 3 pages of complaining?

Well, this thread certainly perked up. Normally don’t care for it, but after the boredom of the HoD/DR/BP thread last week this smack talk is a welcome relief. Even more of a relief is match up without a blow out. This is the closest match I’ve been in.

But I suspect there would be some aspect which would disappoint people asking for it. Just keep doing it in wvw and be glad we can do that.

gvg within wvw is great fun, no need to add any perks or special maps.

Sekz / Rekz has been on the receiving end of plenty of trolls / accusations. I find it entertaining. If any of my members get riled up, I tell them to take a break. It’s not worth taking anything from this game personally. If I ever get frustrated, I’ll just go play Planetside 2 for a bit.

This tiers trash talking is the same as any tier. BP / AR / NSP trashed talk plenty in tier 6. The only thing that has changed is each servers roles on the forums.

Doesn’t make it right. I can’t enforce forum etiquette, I get that. I’m not crying, don’t think any of you are getting under my skin just because I call you out. But my opinion is if you wouldn’t say it to my face, it’s pretty gutless to hide behind your comp screen and yell dumpster, you’re so bad, etc. If you and I were sitting around having a beer after a wvw match, I guarantee we wouldn’t talk like that to each other (Archer maybe). We also wouldn’t leave the bar early because no one drew a weapon fast enough. Why can’t we have that conversation here?

Just because I shed a few kind words doesn’t mean I’m not favor of harsh rivalries. I’m not a fan of baseball but going to see a Yankees vs Red Sox game is entertaining. Why? The rivalry. I don’t have to participate in the name calling. Just being exposed to it and reading it is entertainment enough. Lets all pat each others back for the rest of the week and see how many pages we can get before we stop reading it.

I believe it is in Anvil Rock and Borlis Pass’s best interest to break the alliance.

Here is why:

WvW casuals will have a better time in WvW. Sometimes, it is fun to fight challenging fights. But when adversary are way over the top too powerful, WvW becomes less fun. Casuals will less and less play WvW and play PvE more.

You guys will even have more fun if you transfer to Ehmry Bay.

Mostly sounds like why the alliance should be continued. Then you recruit for Ebay. Got a little credibility problem there.
