Actually these champions are different. You find them in open world around those balloons. When you need to get balloon door opened, talk to its pilot and it will spawn one of these events – escort emissary or defeat the queen’s champion or lower aetherblade morale.

You’re aware that PC configuration has jack squat to do with skill lag in zerg fights, right? There’s this thing called latency. Google it up sometime.
oh well… except for the lag i LOVE big zergs fights. To see positioning, tacticals, etc… really enjoy it. Feels like i’m in a real big war. Guess i’m the exception here =/
No you are not. From my experience, the lag hits when zerg fights occur in tight corridors like lord’s room in garrison or SMC (heck whole EB is laggy actually). I don’t have much of lag outside these areas, atleast not as bad. Maybe it’s also because these structures tend to attract larger crowds due to their significance thus increasing the lag.
And yeah, TC will adapt to situations eventually as it always has. Here’s hoping for a fun week ahead of less lag and more love and hugs and cuddles and … loot bags!

Also make sure you’re in the correct home instance – as in the one that corresponds to your race (and that you consumed the Gift of Quartz item)
This definitely isn’t necessary since the node is account bound but once per day. So you can mine in any racial home instance on any character of yours.
OP did you ever do union farming? Or any type of farm in any game? Ever seen someone come and mess up your farm for no reason when they could have joined you and made more money? People don’t like kittenbags. If you mess up a farm for no visible reason then everyone is going to assume you’re a kittenbag.
What’s wrong with kittenbags or kitten for that matter? The game is full of overgrown kitties anyway, how are smaller kitten harmful compared to those?
On a serious note, it’s a starter area map and part of the open world. Nobody and I mean NOBODY owns any part of any map in a game. If your farm is getting kittened upside down, go find another spot or another map or ask players nicely to not screw up things. Being a kittenbag doesn’t help in dealing with kittenbags.
I don’t really think it is previous Sanctum or even related to Zephyrites, unless there’s anything related to them/their architecture etc in those ruins. As Gandarel pointed out they could be related to any other ship that got wrecked. Remember that Zephyr Sanctum is a moving fleet and not a stationary area on the map so the wreckage could be related to anyone on the world of Tyria.
The steel cage might be used by Krait to imprison their captives (similar to what we see in other Krait-heavy zones), and there are a lot of Krait hanging around on the land below where the Sanctum is.
Read? Where? Update thread? So every single time when try make wholesale changes to the game I have to spend time to read the whole bloody thread? Why can’t just make it account bound and problem solved?
Not the update thread. They mentioned that these skins can be reused account-wide for all characters similar to HoM skins before the patch even went live. It’s soulbound but you can “redeem” it infinite number of times from achievement screen. You’re not spending anything, but only reusing the skin on multiple alts. So doesn’t matter if it’s soulbound or not.
What I found funny though was that when I clicked on Deposit collectibles all PvP skins and glory boosters got deposited as well (most probably to PvP locker). Never tried this before but is it normal? :/
Yes pvp armors and glory boosters are considered collectibles.
More people need to know about this instead of thinking that they waste space…

I don’t think its dependent on the zone you’re in. I think the rewards are common for everyone. Opened yesterday’s and today’s chests while in PvE and both times got badges, PvP skins & glory boosters and other PvE stuff. I think they’re equally distributing rewards from all 3 aspects of the game to everyone rather than rewarding with RNG.

In terms of Tyrian time, how long do you think Zhaitan stayed without his main sources of survival? And I also feel, from Zhaitan’s POV, after losing those sources to feed on, it was more or less like “the ultimate fight for survival” than just another fight he may have had in the past where his weaknesses were still unknown and he had a huge advantage over his enemies. More like he was willing to accept his fate, yet give a shot at defeating his foes. It was more or less of “Hunt or be hunted” scenario for him. There was no room for tactics and stuff at his weakest stage. He understood that all existing major races of Tyria understood its weaknesses and there’s nowhere to run but to fight the last battle and die or hope to live.
(All of this with the assumption that Zhaitan is actually dead and not just sent back to hibernation, of course).

Did they fix NW tower gate on BL’s yet? If not, I can only imagine the situation with these EB gates. That NW tower gate has been bugged since the beginning afaik.
After almost 10 months of this game, Portal bombs aren’t a new thing and every server from lower to higher tiers has a counter tactic against it. Not saying it isn’t viable, it still is, but when done properly. A regular “surprise guys!” bomb in enemies’ faces doesn’t help much since players have matured enough to throw CC and siege weaponry has been equally buffed to take the group down before they have any chance to make the next move. As long as it is used as a bait, or advantage of terrain is taken properly by the bombing group, portal bombs are no longer “surprise attacks”.
In one of the matches a month ago, our keep in EB had multiple broken walls with both opponent servers pushing in while we had outmanned buff. We managed to push one enemy out when the other enemy decided to make a push. I saw a mesmer run in and throw a portal right infront of me inside the lord’s room. And as well known, there’s a slight delay in between portal drop and players taking the portal and appearing at the destination. That delay was enough for me to swap to hammer on my guardian and throw a Ring of Warding right on top of it. The next moment I saw the entire stack lying down to AC fire within that ring.
Once people couldn’t see the portal bombs coming, they were unexpected. Now those portalling have no idea what to expect on the other end. Now it depends on the commander’s & the memser’s understanding of the terrain and surroundings of the area where they are trying to port to.

There’s a place in Iron marches map, where there are these spirits of charr called “Displaced Spirits”. They have been bugged since the launch or are indeed meant to be literally displaced since most of them float like 25 ft above in the air and no way to interact with them :/. I reported it as a bug during the first month of the launch and recently made my way down there on my alt and many are still “displaced”.
