Hopefully… we already have pistols, i’m hoping more for an axe, mace or melee staff for the monk style.
We don’t need another melee weapon, we need a 1200 ranged weapon. Either a Rifle or a GS used as ranged weapon — just Mesmers, but less butterflies and more shadows.
So Thief becoming a magical GS wielder? i hope Anet doesnt take that road, it would ruin the game.

Don’t see anyone in real life going invisible after stabbing someone and throwing a cloak around themselves…
That and no one is jumping 1200 meters/units. Presumably by stepping through shadows… I’ve tried in real life, it doesn’t seem to work, it actually hurts if you run into a wall trying to go into the shadow…
Or signets doing anything besides being stamps that you can wear…
Or a bunch of guys popping out of NO WHERE on call (thieves guild)…
Or being able to throw down some sort of field/area that makes everyone inside invisible.
Or having a dagger bounce OFF the target and ricochet between a couple targets (some how between 3, yet not being stabbed into any one of them)
Or boons that are able to regenerate you back to health after you’ve taken multiple slashes from the sword, possibly a couple from an axe here and there, maybe a couple arrows, and possibly limbs missing – but yeah boon of regeneration, get’s you back to brand new!

The GS will use “Shadow Arts” to create shadowy greatswords. Or… Using the “Shadow Arts” the thief is able to slash shadows with the great sword from a distance… Or since it’s under “Shadow Arts”, the great sword that should weigh 8lb (or more) now weighs less than 1lb and can be swung for days because it has shadows in it.
Man and i would love to be able to pull arrows out of thin air indefinitely while doing the motion of reloading.
Maybe somewhere between now and HoT, the thief would have picked up a book somewhere on “Advance Shadow Arts” that allow you to create shadow clones or other things. Who knows….You are right, it’s just a game… lot’s of wiggle room for what can and can happen (no, no “can’t”).
Al rite, lets presume everything can happen… but tell me, why GS? GS on a Thief? do you really like GS that much ? on thieves?? srsly, just roll a warrior :P
On the other hand, i would love to see things like Shurikens or Fist Weapons being implemented… even Melee Staff for Thieves… a Monk fighting style would really be cool.

I’ve been on some trouble against really skilled warriors, GS/Bow ones, duelling this guy for like 30 min, and w/l was 2/20…
Gear was all Zerk with some valk accessories, build was (d/d 6/0/2/6/0) and (s/d 2/0/0/6/6).
i guess the armor is not that right, cuz i was getting some hits very like “one or two shotted” from whirlwind…
Any tips?
Remember Neverwinter Nights? or any other game that offers you a different soundboard on voices for the same race when you create the character?
So, that would be good to have on GW2 too, i know there are more “important” things to be worked on the game, and adding (contracting) more actors to record (although not a hard job) is not Anets interest.
But i think it would get the game more rich on deep of personality for each character the players create.

- Download and install AutoHotKey (AHK)
It is a program that is useful for making individual scripts to execute make custom keybinds for individual characters, or even individual games- Create a text file (myfilename.txt) and add this text into it and then save it

Pressing F1 disables the script so they work normally again

As for the others saying “just use another button for dodge” , i play this game since beta, and use dodge on mid mouse button, even with a mouse with many other buttons, for me, it doesnt work well as in the mid button… i am sucessful in pvp this way, so im not changing, also, the other buttons already have its binds.

I’ve been having this problem with accidentally pressing the wheel up and zooming the camera while on pvp, my dodge is on mid mouse button, so its kinda annoying, i have to zoom out constantly on fights.
I checked otpions, and couldnt find a turn off for the Wheel zooming, it was marked the “page up” and “page down”, unbind them but still the wheel zoom in and out.
My mouse is the warrior multilazer,

I Really love GW2 combat mechanics, art, and all, the only thing missing in the game, is more love to pvp… 3 wvw maps, spvp is not enough compared to pve Tyria, I wish Anet could add more than 1 wvw map and the Stronghold mode.

I’ve never been terribly good at utilizing stealth, so in WvW I play S/D 2/0/0/6/6. With the countless evades and dodges you can last pretty long. Killing all 3, however, is highly unlikely.
I’ve been using that too Turk, S/D it seems the kung f.u fighting!
Against enemys with equal skill? No specc will do that.
Against enemys with terrible skill? Every specc will do it.
Against enemys with the average wvw-level? Thats a little bit different…
Easiest specc would be P/D condi, followed by D/P SA most likely. But I don´t recommend them both. Their skill-floor is pretty low. You will have success, yes, but won´t get better.
In general I think D/P panicstrike could do well for you. The condiremove in SA can help a lot against classes with high and heavy hitting access to conditions (very very common in wvw ^^). D/P executioner can do it, too. Is far more difficult though.
Even a well played D/D specc can make it. But it lacks on some things.
My favourite is still S/D acro in different types. When you know what the classes and speccs your enemys are using you can outplay them, dance around them and kill them (yeah, random-dodging works, too).
At the end you should decide for your own what YOU want to play and learn. Like i said above, you will kill the bad ones and the good ones will give you interesting fights. You will learn much more from last ones.
Apart from this…kill the squishy ones first, look what speccs they are playing (is the food condition, bunker or zerker theme?), be aware of medi-guards, are there players you know from previous fights and that you can or can´t kill them? Kill them quickly if its the first type or ask them for 1vs1 when its the second one. Learn from them.
Indeed, Im not a fan of condi builds, so i was focusing on dodging hit and run. I was testing 0/6/6/2/0 with Ambush and Thieves Guild to confuse enemies, but lacks on dmg it seems.

Been using the steal build 2/0/0/6/6 , but not having success in general, any tips?
I can think of a few reasons. Maybe they should FIX somethings before bringing in NEW stuff. Dont know anything about lore, maybe it just doesnt fit? I think there are enough weapon types and skills. Even profs getting new weapons is kind of too much as most likely, some weapons will become sub-par to others in almost every aspect. Think about off hand axe for warrior as an example, You dont get more DPS or utility or defense from wielding it with a main hand axe cause AA is too kitten good. You would be better off with a shield mace or sword. Similarly a land spear, would replace rifle or longbow if it is ranged. Or it wouldnt be used at all if it is just subpar.
Its all about playstyle, you need to think about entertainment and playing “the way you like”.
I know a lot of ppl who uses axe off hand because they like to, not because if its better than a shield, a lot of ppl play games for fun, others to be competitive.
Add more weapon types into the game with HoT ?
Why GW2 should not use Land Spears, GreatAxes, Flails/Morning Stars (guess this works similar to mace), Shurikens ? and theres a lot more i forgot…
im pretty sure the community would love to have these in the game.
If the lazyness to develop these new weapons are because of balance issues, i guess GW2 won’t ever have anymore new options and combination combat style for the classes.

At first, might seem strange, but beleive me, this “troll” build, works, its hilarious to see ppls reaction, because they really dont expect to see this kind of warrior…
I dont even need to link the build here, its simple, take the Skull Crack build, 0/2/6/0/6
and replace the GS with the Rifle… done hehe.
Of course you loose mobility, but you keep the gs “dps” with the rifle, and from range.
I dont want to be rude in saying this, dont get me wrong, but, playing warrior, “is not for the weak” :P
Anet, its time to reduce the recipes of Ambrite weapons to low tiers so people can still craft them, there are no more a lot of ppl doing the events, so its almost impossible to reach higher tiers.
Or make the events earn more favor to raise up higher tiers.
The grand majority Gw2 community are afraid of PvP.

Anet, it could be good to prevent/avoid massive clicking (r.i.p my mouse), for accumulated chests and Essense of Luck, like for i.e: Right click, having an option to consume/open it all.
Im sorry if i missed something, but i dont know what happened to Rytlok after he fell in that hole… then he appears as Revenant, and according to wiki, Revenant is something that died and came back = Undead…

I just watched some guy on youtube, with an intersting build i havent tried, GS/ Mace,Shield…. very very effective, but still, ezly kitted tho… but the gameplay is fun, more than axe/shield.
Greatsword
all Greatsword skills can now cleave up to 5 targets except Rush.since GS does less damage, got no CC or utility.. this change will give Greatsword a unique utility worth of bringing to conquest pvp.
Mending
is now a Physical skill.Physical Training
is now an Adept trait.this change is to resolve the conflict between Physical Training and the other Master traits like Axe Mastery, Slashing Power & Distracting Strikes which made Physical Training to never get used, also by being in Adept it make the trait conflicts with Restorative Strength making the new Mending in check, unless the warrior wanted to sacrifice 4 points to take both traits.
Shield Master
this trait now merges both Shield Master & Missile Deflection into one trait.this change to make Shield more viable and on par with Off-hand Sword when it comes to Missile reflections.
Fast Hands
is now a feature of Warrior requires no traiting.Critical Burst
is now in Discipline line in place of the current Fast Hands.Fast Hands is so important to Warrior to the point it doesn’t feel like a Warrior without it, builds without Fast Hands are rare to nonexistence, which forces warrior always to put 3 points in Discipline not including the forced 4 points for Cleansing Ire.
Critical Burst suits the Discipline line pretty well as a replacement for Fast Hands.
Attack of Opportunity
is now a Master Minor trait in Arms line.Brawler’s Recovery
is now a Grandmaster Minor trait in Arms line, same place of the current Attack of Opportunity.Brawler’s Recovery meant to build outside of cleansing ire or strengthen it, the problem is it located in Discipline line as a Grandmaster trait conflicting hard with Burst Mastery which combined with Cleansing Ire synergies better and offers more than Brawler’s Recovery, leading it to never get used.
so the solution is to move it down in traits or move it to other trait lines, since we made Fast Hands a global feature for Warrior, putting Brawler’s Recovery in there will make the current meta builds more powerful.
so its better to move it to Arms line as a Grandmaster Minor trait, since that line has nothing to cure conditions making it more viable to trait there.

it depends on the resolution of your tv screen, in your case the tv is 1920 x1080 so normal hd probably same or less then your current monitor (if you already selected 1920*1080 in gw2 there will be no difference monitor/tv framerate) Don’t forget to change crop settings on your tv (in standard mode, edges are removed to exlude artifacts of tv programs)
