(The thing is, these things are noted and actions are being done against them. Meaning anet does not approve. You even said it yourself. People are being banned for it. Anet is making fixes to it. Citing one rule and ignoreing the rules to not post exploits doesn’t support your case. The issue is not really with eyefinity your blaming the wrong person or tool in this istance. The issue is that Ac’s are being exploited by using this software. But the use of the software is not the issue. The issue is AC’s have no Line of sight restrictions. By adding a LoS to Ac’s it would remove the issue and still allow players like my self that use eyefinity and do not exploit it to contunie to use it.

Also you have to realize that coding in a game is not as easy as 123. My time going to the Art Institute getting my bachalors in Culinary Arts I had the enjoyment of meeting people doing game art and desing where they program. Some times easy fixes cause more issue so they try to fix things so nothing is affected. Also you will know if you have paid attention to how arena nets does things they do not annouce a change unless theya re sure it will work by X standards. Just becuase they haven’t annouced they are patching it doesn’t mean they are not working on fixing it.

To sit here and say it is ok for this to happen or support or defend it is silly, the irony of this is I have seen more SoR in support of the use of eyefinity than against it yet JQ and BG members are speaking out against this and have specificly stated that they do not condone it. Sure there are a few SoR members that dis like it and feel it is wrong to use it, but more support it than not. Maybe it is becuase they are reaping thebenifits of it who knows. Although the most amusing thing is that FEAR commander has yet to come on and defend his position on it, Usally most people knowingly doing something wrong will not stand up and defend their position.

Well it is what it is, If this is going to be the new meta then arena net needs to

• allow players to extend their zoom range
• remove Trebs/ catas/ balistas/ and golems from the game

At this point all you need is a 40 man zerg and the ability to zoom out further and destory any siege on the other side and PvD the way to Victory.

Kittened players in these threads need to get thicker skin. These matchup threads are great laughs (in a good way). Trash talking and accusations from all sides which should be expected given that all 3 servers have a long history with one another.

If you want to level fast, it’s all about flipping objectives in wvw.

If you happen to be on a server that is dominating for the week and the maps are your servers colors for the majority of the duration you will level slow. Same goes for undermanned servers that are getting spanked and don’t have the numbers to flip towers, supply, on a frequent enough basis etc.

Nah, I’m saying this after playing wvw for awhile and seeing the difference. Its easy to notice after being gone for awhile. All the people freaking out about “get in ts or gtfo” sor was never like that. We promoted ts use yeah but the good commanders communicated with everyone in map still.

Huh? I been following Alpaca for as long as I can remember as he used to log during odd hours like me. He has always used TS. In fact the only times he does type out a map chat command is idle time after a battle (wipe, taken over a keep, etc.).

There are still those random players who don’t use TS (to each their own) but I have noticed a few raging in chat when they find themselves suddenly alone and surrounded by red names as they never got the voice comm to fall back……eventually they’ll learn the hard way.

You are a casual, and have a casual PVE way of looking at things.

There’s no guild mention on the post, unless GvG setup means some especific guild for you. I just left my opinion about GvG setup in WvW and disadvantages that I think of that.

My statement would go for any guild that wants to partake in GvG, why? Because you won’t see many if at all PVE oriented guilds asking for GvG requests as these guys are mostly casuals. The ones that look for GvG are typically the most active guilds of their respective servers when it comes to WvW play. It helps to fine tune their group skills without outside interference to further hone their play.

In another response you state “it’s not the right time for it”, so what is? The match takes a full 7 days and in essence takes a while to schedule GvG matches way ahead of time to ensure meeting locale, rules of engagement, timezone differential, etc.

There is a difference between running past 1 person and running past an entire zerg.

On a side note, kudos to the JQ WvW die hard guilds and players that showed up hard the first 2 days of reset to bury DB. How the public drama unfolded……In late April on Fridays reset, JQ was #1 at the time but was struggling for the first couple hours as they were sitting at around 100ish ppt when some random guy posted this as a heads up in the T1 thread. I actually called this guy out for trolling…boy was I wrong!!

1) They acted like they are the new big guy and talked about replacing the old T1 JQ and SoR 2 weeks after they went from T3 to T2.

I think we’re doing OK with our limited numbers. At the end, if you’re going out there, having fun, getting some bags, killing some dudes…. it’s all good. That’s my take on it… I do that every night, regardless of the PPT/score. We watched some poor guy get taken out by the enemy quaggans earlier tonight on BGBL hills, and figured the quaggans wanted their bags as well, greedy buggers Just have fun with it.

It’s not a bad idea to drop Ac’s if you are massively outnumbered. Dropping them when even fights or you outnumber them then I can see that being annoying. Though it’s all part of the game now. Everyone needs to adjust to that.

For people who need a visual on what TW means when they use terms like massively outnumbered.

From your map I see 3 commander tags, a slew of green dot allies to the left of you and behind. If you want to fictionalize the numbers advantage, remember to remove the dots on your map before attachment……

That’s my take on it… I do that every night, regardless of the PPT/score. We watched some poor guy get taken out by the enemy quaggans earlier tonight on BGBL hills, and figured the quaggans wanted their bags as well, greedy buggers Just have fun with it.

Which of us will be lucky to face DB this Friday? It’s bound to happen and they are gonna be riding high via the T3 faceroll. I would love to see them bumped up to T1. Also a JQ vs DB would be pretty epic due to the history involved….

It’s only almost 5pm PST. It’s been known for months that SoR is filled with NA East guilds which helps with the EU-Early NA trade off..

After all these months it’s now due to the Eastern Time zone guilds, haha.

I’m not sure why you find that “funny”. If you do, I think you haven’t had enough fun yet. Also, nobody said all credit should be given to their EST guilds. It is a fact that SoR tends to have more presence during early NA, but that tends to stabilize as the BG/JQ PST guilds zone into the maps. I’ll leave it up to you to analyze the past 2 hours.

So none of these guilds can fill that gap? I guess BG’s next round of recruitment will focus on that time slot eh?

NA: KnT, ICOA, BT, RISE, GOF, ATAC, PRO, RIOT, RUIN, WORK, RESO, OnS
OC: MERC, LOTD, MEOW, NOC, URGE, XF
AZ: THAI, ND, ND, WM, JL, NBB
EURO: HB, RK

They are not quality guilds. Enough said.
