it’s a not a thief bug so it won’t get hotfix patched almost instantly like in the past.

sounds reasonable, although I’m biased and have been leveling a ranger without tomes. only problem I see with this change is drakes may appear weaker if anet gives every other pet cleave on autos like they did necro/thief dagger.

nice 1v1s. running outnumbered must be annoying though. I usually run more sustain and I do fresh air paired with one with air and hydromancy sigil.

I miss the old hydromancy sigil that made people “WTF?” when it hit them for 4-5k in the damage log.

press 1 2 3 4 5 and random dodge whenever your stamina bar is full from having perma vigor

but for pve you just camp in fire with staff ignoring all your other 15 weapon skills (is it 15? I’m bad at math)

also traits really don’t matter much for pve as long as you wear zerk or valk gear.

6/6/2/0/0 vs 6/6/0/0/2 D/F, is that extra 10% dmg modifier really going to make your dungeon/fractal runs better compared to having perma vigor which most other classes don’t have anymore?

typically it’s good with FA builds too because the uptime on bolt to the heart is not as good compared to having better mobility and staying offensive against builds that use alot of soft cc to kite/harass.

shorter range autos = more damage more soft cc more gap closers more survivability?

Used a seperate partition I have XP installed on and can confirm the problem above we’ll just have to wait for a fix or continue playing on a different OS.

my reading skills are not that great but does this mean you can’t port to higher elevations?

edit: nevermind, just looked at the pvp forum and now it should just work more reliably.

grenade cleave is excellent and the 1,500 range can be put to use on that map

i too have also started playing again recently to see if i still suck and i still do. i would say ive been ganked by thieves at least 100 times mid dodge role. I know this because you cant dodge thief focus and yet i dodge and get blown up. Pls fix this mid dodge bug with thieves

if you nerf charge so it can’t be used to run away with you’d have to nerf all the other mobility skills in the game too.

I would still argue warrior is the best pve class I mean how can you die with GS evade defy pain 2 dodges + having high base HP and decent armor also axe auto does insane damage and res banner always carries bad pugs.

D/F can carry pugs that don’t have a guardian/thief/mesmer for projectile hate

your build is probably only good for duels. Duels vs other squishies. I dont see you lasting against a good d/d ele or a good warrior. This is easily fixed by changing your build. You need more vitality and shouldnt be using ruby orbs.

youd probably be better off running something like this if you want to duel.

We was having this discussion over our community today and turned out I’m not the only one out there that thinks that Anet should pay more respect to veterans with 2y+ in this game and stop matching them with with low levels (someone who bought the game yesterday and is not on same page with people who have been playing for 2 years or more).

Please Anet remember to include this fix in your next patch and separate players according to their playtime and level too.

I do not imply that low levels are unskilled or anything i just do not want them to be part of my team when i play the only competitive part of this game – I feel better having people who have spend enough time playing the game and learning it’s mechanics rather than teaching it every match to new players. (and trust me i did quite a lot explanations and guides in past 2y)

you spent 2+ years on this game but don’t have the patience to play a 5-10 min game with a player who may or may not be better than you at pvp despite their level?

you can dodge 9 or more times in a row on thief with 15 acrobatics, runes of adventurer, energy sigils, agility signet and vigor.

ranger has highest undodgable/unblockable AOE burst that can do over 9,000 damage in under 1 second.

broskibro’s blinding ashes build is the only one worth running.

nade builds always getting nerfed.

maybe instead of nerfing nades you dodge them?
