Just let us que for PVP games outside the heart of the mists prison already … I am so bored right now! Why purposefully make your game a boring waiting marathon? Why are we are trapped in a place designed to be purposefully be boring?
Pretty much, I am considering quitting PVP right now. I only enjoy solo play and losing repeatedly to premades farming pugs is ridiculous. No point in playing to lose constantly.

True, but the issue is that if you get any legitimate whispers from a friend. The person may think you are ignoring them, rather than showing a message that you have disabled /w. Also if someone uses /s you can still see what they say above their character.
Please add an option to disable all chat other than team chat when is SPVP. So other people know you are not accepting chat.
I am so tired of getting /w /s /m because I have beat someone and they are mad. The SPVP community is awful, I really do not want to have to interact with these kinds of disgusting excuses for human beings. I have never played another online game with such a vile ‘community’. (not everyone ofc, but the bad eggs are really ruining it)
Make the new desert borderlands part of EOTM (it is perfect for karma train) and bring back alpine. WVW doesn’t need fancy mechanics, it is the large battles we love, not destroying gates and running around. IMO even alpine had too much running around and not enough fights. I would have been happier with a small map with only 1 keep per team which is worth loads of points, at least there would be fights… if we wanted PVE we would play PVE mode
I am not using the elite spec as a guard and I am doing just fine. I have the expansion too, I just don’t like playing dragonhunter. That being said some of the new builds are OP, I am sure we will see nerfs in the following weeks.
Sometimes I may not feel like playing courtyard but I still enjoy it none the less. I would much rather have MORE courtyard style maps and less PVE maps like Stronghold. Really sad about this map being gone.

Every time I am in wvw (mainly EB I have not noticed this in borderlands however I don’t not play them as much) I end up getting a crash to desktop with the error reporting. Here is my crash log. I don’t know what is causing this but it is stopping me playing the league as the ques are so long. Please can somone help? I have already tried updating my graphics card drivers which didn’t fix it.
This only happens during large fights by the way. My old PC which would get 1FPS in big fights never crashed but my new PC which has a great spec always crashes :S
Deso don’t even know what double teaming even is. 1st place focus 2nd to increase gap. 3rd place focus second to reduce gap. That is WvW… welcome silver league rookies! If you are in the middle of the score you will be focused slightly more. If you were being double teamed you would have nothing in EBG and would be standing at the spawn while we fire siege at you. Believe me it is happened before. If you were being double teamed Deso you would have NOTHING.
And Deso stop talking about ‘honour’ and other BS because your server purposefully dropped to T2 so that you could stomp the silver league servers who were weaker last season. Deso is a pathetic server and what’s worse a bunch of whiners now who complain of double teaming when it isn’t even happening.
I would love for SFR to double team for real now just so that you can experience what it is really like to be double teamed. You would be ticking for 0 to 50 max.

Oh god yes please someone remove skyhammer. Worst map ever, no skill sky lazor and knockbacks off the edge of everything. I just personally leave as soon as skyhammer map pops.
Don’t worry piken don’t have to stop fighting they just lose naturally. Matchup will change when they lose enough rating then someone else will get to enjoy being farmed by SFR over and over again.
I especially enjoyed when SFR made waypoint in Vizuna keep in EB. IMO the whole thing is just karma, piken and vizuna double teamed SFR in league and now they get to be relentlessly farmed by them for weeks. SFR is enjoying the matchup, sorry to hear piken and vizuna aren’t lol. I anticipate Vizuna and Piken servers dying out, they won’t be able to withstand such a moral bashing for many weeks to come.
Imobilisation is fine. There needs to be something to stop people from constantly running away and imobilise does that job. Zerg vs zerg it is no problem most of the time it gets removed by allies and barely anyone uses it in zerg fights anyway. Also most classes have some way to counter it in a zerg fight. I assume the people complaining are upset abouy being slaughtered as they try to run away during or after a fight they are losing or while roaming. Runners are irritating enough as it is and there should be ways to stop then such as imobilise.
Another week of fighting Vizuna and trying to keep them in combat so they can’t run away and port back to base. Oh joy rolls eyes. Maybe one day Vizuna will actually fight.
I am from SFR and embarrassed by this thread. I hope you are just someone from another server trolling and trying to make SFR look bad because this kind of complaining is just embarrassing for the server. What do you expect Anet to do? Just come in and ban Vizu and Piken because you’re sad SFR are not winning a matchup? Having people from a different time zone and double teaming is not against the rules nor should it be.

The first ever vizu sfr match is obviously irrelevant, half the players back then probably are somehwere else now. Also SFR had not even a third of your player numbers back then. I think, you know I was talking about the most recent matches yet you are just looking for any reason to justify that Vizuna were so scared SFR may win again that they teamed with piken. Now no one will know who the real #1 league server is and the Vizuna league victory counts for nothing amongst the GW2 community because piken helped them get it.
Working as intended. Who cares anyway, everyone knows their victory was because piken are helping them so it carries no real value. They can’t brag about it or claim they are the best, their gold dolly finisher will just be a reminder that they couldnt win without piken. Same goes for pikens bronze finisher. At least other servers can be proud of their league rankings (well some of them except servers who purposefully dropped to silver league to dominate low pop servers, I will mention no names).
By the way, I hit “/wave @” to any opponent that I don’t wish to fight, including SFR ones. Just saying.
Well it sure strange that such a sight has never/rarely been seen before that matchup, where as it happened many times during the first league match. To be honest it just sounds like an attempt of justification to me, however such attempts are not going to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes no matter how you spin it unfortunately.
You do not even realize that Piken played normal, they explained many times why they attack more your structures. You are denying the solidity and orga of VS, and the higher than ever morale and maps tactics used.

I am not denying anything, just saying what I see and what the statistics are. Guess we will never know who should have won the league, what you say is just words with nothing to back it up, SFR beating Vizu before league in a fair fight is facts. All Vizu have done so far is double team SFR so no one will ever know the true result. The first matchup was not an agreed double team but it was ‘presumed’ because of the mutually beneficial gains for both teams. Either way it was still a double team. Vizu barely attacked piken either so you can’t put all blame on Piken. We even saw piken and vizu players /wave at each other as they passed, you can’t lie about it because we were there, we saw it! Now this last matchup is an agreed double team but it doesn’t really matter because most of SFR are loving the constant fights, too bad we will never know who the better league server was though. No one will respect Vizu or Pikens league scores because of this. Piken don’t deserve third and we don’t know if Vizu would have come first without Pikens help. Oh well, at least SFR can be proud of their servers result.

@rotsono JS is in last atm so we will see what the week brings. Same thing however applies, Jade Sea are no where near the level of SFR so their second place really doesn’t carry much merit. They got lucky with their matchups and all players know this.

It doesn’t matter, SFR got second place anyway and Piken and Viz both know we are the better server. Last time when we fought Viz without them double teaming us we beat them. Even if the both servers won’t admit it they know SFR #1 EU. Let them double team all they want, but Vizu’s 1st place and Piken’s 3rd will just be laughable because all servers know Piken and Vizuna can’t win without each others help.
Just relax and enjoy the extra bags were getting from winning twice as many fights. This week I have been earning far more gold than ever before. It’s just too bad that it seems many SFR have decided to take this week off after only 1 day, matchup is far from over.

Why do Vizuna blobs always run away and port out from 70% of fights? Most of their players do it too unless they outnumber the enemy. I have even had fights where I am outnumbered winning a 2v1 or 3v1 fight and they both run away even when they are more than me. It is a very cowardly way to play. No over server runs away like this. What is the point in playing WvW if you just PVD or only fight when you outnumber the enemy or have the advantage? Aren’t your commanders embarrassed to always run away?
Simple as that Troma made better community than all those brain dead GvG guilds did as result Vizunah was and is best EU server. Yes they ddos yes they spy on ts and in game yes they manipulated mindless monkeys for double teaming. But there is saying anything works during war now go tell stories about honor and all other funky stuff. Nobody prevented u from doing the same what Vizunah did

Spying on ts? Meh if you want to, its just lame as hell, but you could hear how much of a good time the other server is having while you are sitting in your chair all tense and grinding your teeth to grab some virtual points.
Well SFR TS gets ddos attacked whenever we play vizuna. Maybe it’s not your servers ‘official tactic’ but one or some of your Vizuna players are doing it and Vizuna should be ashamed of this and trying to find the player responsible.
Oh and also we had a Vizuna guy who used to come on and drain our supplies from keep and towers building balistas etc and would troll in chat using french. He only came when we fought vizuna. We kept reporting him and he is gone now so hope he got banned.
I could list more of there behaviours but I’m sure you get the point. If you think players on your server are not using pathetic underhanded tactics youre wrong. Very wrong. Some vizuna players take winning so serious they are willing to cheat and ruin the game for others. Other servers have done bad stuff too like glitching into towers but not on the scale that Vizu does. Prehaps you aren’t aware of it as you don’t see it first hand.
Just thought I would chime in and remind Piken about the time we had waypoint in YOUR overlook keep for an ENTIRE DAY. Oh and do you remember that other time we were beating you by over 80k points and you were last place to Riverside? Oh wait, that’s happening right now! Where’s Vizuna when you need them?

Fact is Piken and Vizuna did ally because Vizuna was scared because we could beat them and Piken are just bottom feeders. So you allied in the hope you could get second. Keep practicing and try a few builds until you have one you like. You will improve with time. You have to be very fast to play a warrior well, I would suggest remapping your keybinds from the default ones if you haven’t already done so.
Swiftness on crit, 25% stance duration, condition removal on burst, stability on cc, stances give vigor, movement break immobilisation, reduce cost of burst.
Endure pain and zerker stance utility and rest is up to you.

Depends on your skill level. I am quite happy with my warrior to be honest. I run greatsword and hammer for wvw and spvp with a build focused on stances and vigor. Nice mobility and burst with plenty of evades. Certain classes and builds are harder to beat than others though but that is the same for all classes.
Ok so I play WvW mostly but love to SPVP sometimes too. I often think it is very unfair though that SPVP does not reward players with gold. Why should WvW players get gold and SPVP players none? SPVP players need gold too… Even if it is only 1s per victory. Why should every other game area give gold apart from SPVP? Many SPVP players do other content so why should they be penalised fanatically when they SPVP? Some players only SPVP and how is it fair that they can never get any gold?
My suggestion is to keep this thread bumped until anet does something about this ridiculous issue that has been in game since release or at least acknowledges it…
OMG this is without doubt the dumbest thread I have ever read. Just spend 15g converting gold to gems and buy a kit if you want one without spending irl cash. You could just run COF which takes about 10min once a day for 7 days and make 15g easily. Many people make 7g an hour flipping goods on the trading post. Are you all so noob you cant make 15g?

Please remove free server transfers. The amount of people changing realms to turn the tides of WvWvW is ridiculous. People should have pride in their realm and want to win WvWvW instead of just swapping to whoever is winning.
Server transfer needs to cost gems. Not only does it make you guys more money but it means that us players can enjoy some fair WvW for once. Another alternative would be to offer only 1 free transfer every 6 months.The rankings will never be evenly matched and be fair if people can change realms whenever they feel like it.
This issue is ruining WvW and needs to be addressed ASAP.
