I agree, you probably want to contact Support by filing a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page. They will be able to assist you. For tips on what information to provide in a ticket — mostly intended for security reasons to establish that you own the account — please read this post and provide as many suggested details as possible to expedite the ticket.
There’s a tricky spot where some of those pirates appear to be spawning under ground. They’re pirates after all so they don’t play by the rules. But I’ve got just the thing for them, we’ll get it fixed.
As the person who scripted her to do that, yes! All this business about being one of the most powerful mesmers in the world and she’s going to just stand there? I think not…

So I quit Guild Wars 2 for a bit, but I’m trying it again now with a better computer. I dont remember any information to my account. Luckily my computer remembered it and it automatically logged me in. I went to go change the password but it requires the old password. I don’t know what it is. I tried using recover password link but I dont know what the character I have on the account’s name is? Anyone could help
If the computer logged you in, can you not see your characters on the screen? Wouldn’t you then have the names?

We have a lot of people in the game, and this is the only report I see about this in the forum right now. I suggest that you submit a ticket or post in the Technical Support forum, as I believe this may be a situation that is unique to you.
Render Service
The render service provides in-game assets in web-friendly formats.
To use the render service, you need to get a file ID and a signature. Various APIs can be used to find these values (for example, the /files.json API). Once you have these values you can construct a URL to access the file:

A new rendering service was added for retrieving game assets in web-friendly form.
The item API was updated to show item icon IDs that can be used in conjunction with the rendering service. Also, a small API was added that lists some generic useful UI icons that can be retrieved from the rendering service.
You can’t be unaware that the word you included in your name is extremely offensive in English. The name change is not optional, and those who choose an offensive display name are not given a rename privilege at this time, nor is the team going to spend time “discussing” the matter with someone who invariably will argue about the acceptability of an unacceptable name. I just spent 100$ on gems for today and it said pending how do I know if its going through or when I will get them please help.

Are you logging in from a new location? If not, it seems to me that your location has been saved and you would not need to authenticate again.

Hi Timebandit (nice name, by the way) – For whatever reason this happens with security software after updates. All of a sudden it sees the game as a threat and decides to block all the things.
I’d make sure you have Guild Wars 2 added to the exceptions list of Trend Micro. Unfortunately I can’t walk you through this as all security software have a different interface, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to set up.

Just to get a better idea of the issue at hand here – Are any of you still having this issue, and if so, could you please tell me what operating system you’re using? Additionally, crash logs may help as well in this case. You can find them by navigating to Documents\Guild Wars 2 and it’ll be the ArenaNet.log file. You can attach this report to the thread by clicking “More posting & formatting options…”
Most of you guys have this dead on. It will take some time for ratings to settle and MMR to improve.
Many players from our community asked us to create SoloQ to give players from hot join a next step up into how competitive PvP plays. For many people who only know the less structured mode of hot join this will be a training ground to develop them into competitive team players.
The best thing that you guys can do as our more advanced players is to help coach and guide these raw recruits with some strategy tips in team chat. Have patience with them. I’ve been playing this morning and have seen some amazing players really step up and do this. Our community never ceases to impress me with how awesome you all can be.

Let me explain the process again: No one ignores a player report. A report is a means for a player to let Support know of his/her concern. But a report doesn’t necessary equate to a true game issue or a violation. A report may or may not result in action on an account. That’s why we don’t set up “report a name = instant name censor” or “report a chat violation = immediate suspension.” Each report is read and assessed, as it should be.)
In the case of this in-game activity that you’re concerned about, the team may have assessed the situation and determined it was not a violation. They have be in assessment mode. They may even be discussing the concern with developers to see if, while a certain mechanic isn’t strictly cheating, it is functioning as the devs intended. (That can, in some circumstances, result in a game change later.)
Please don’t adopt a “I reported and nothing happened, therefore they are ignoring reports” mentality. That’s not accurate. That’s not even fair.
In the latest patch, the mumble link was enhanced to provide more information about the character in the ‘identity’ field. Hopefully this extra information is useful for API developers.
This should be fixed in the latest patch.
Hey Stryfer – First, could you please provide us with a crash log? You can find this by navigating to Documents\Guild Wars 2 and it’ll be the ArenaNet.log file.
Additionally, would you mind posting your system specs? The more info you can provide the better we can be of assistance

Cabzi: You will have gotten an in-game error message that explains that the transfer is not currently possible, but that it will be possible in the future. As suggested above, you can transfer at smaller amounts in the short-term, or transfer greater amounts as you have more time/acquisitions in the game.

Players are accessing our game from China, so I do not anticipate you will have problems. If you have authentication in place — and I hope you do — you will be asked to approve a new location, and you then should be able to access just fine.

Are the badges in the inventory of one of your characters? If so, the BoH will not be added into the Currency Wallet until you log in to those characters.
Aetherblades do in fact appear at the balloons.
If you completed their instances on that character, they should recognize you. Logan, Queen Jennah, Countess Anise, and Faren also all have different conversations based on your choices and progress in Human stories.

I know they would deny it, but I would bet heavily that this whole election thing was fixed in the first place. Due to the fact they have to plan what they are doing in this next patch, and they can’t have a person win and change everything at the last minute.
We mentioned that we will build the fractal the winner supports and will put it into the game towards the end of the year, not the next update.
This situation, as you have surmised, is probably going to be the hardest to fill. It will be filled by any players who queued solo for Team Arena, presumably because they want to climb both the Solo and the Team Arena leaderboards, despite not having a team. It’s not clear yet how many of these types of players there will be, relative to the number of 4 player teams queuing. So we’ll have to see how feasible this is long term and make adjustments if needed.
