Currently recruiting people for brand new raid team. Want a regular chill raid? Here’s your chance! Once the team is assembled will be raiding a couple of times per week during the weekend, possibly more as new raid wings come into play.

The goal is to provide a regular, efficient and fun raid with like minded people who want to clear their weekly raids but don’t necessarily want to grind out for more shards beyond that, especially as more raid wings are added later on. We aim to build a team that will stay together in the long run, so people can get to know each other and have a garanteed spot with other skilled players in a smooth, weekly run even if they can’t play every day.

What we are looking for:
- Mature people, ideally 20+yrs old, but don’t let that stop you if you meet all our other requirements
- People who understand that the game is just that, a game
- Able to speak English and communicate on TS3
- Fun people!! Don’t be forever quiet on ts :p
- Keep up to date with the current ‘meta’ and know what the best builds to run are. Checking that your build is the most recent and/or ideal for a specific fight only takes a few minutes!

Requirements:
- At least 2 classes with ascended gear + trinkets which you can play to really good standards (ie. know your DPS rotations, not just pewpew), we are flexible on this if you are missing one or two pieces
- Excellent knowledge of the current available raid bosses’ mechanics and team member roles (at least theoretical knowledge for Salvation Pass if you haven’t had a chance to clear it yet, there are guides on reddit and dulfy)
- Be willing to occupy a strategic position (for example doing a canon at Sabetha), and don’t expect other people to do all the work for you
- 20+ ‘insights’ as proof of your previously completed runs
- Have a free guild spot for organisational purposes (representation welcome but not required)

This team is not the team for you if:
- You’ve only raided once or twice, and you’re not really sure what’s going on in there
- You don’t like the meta, and prefer running your own builds
- You want to raid every day of the week
- You expect everyone to always be at 100% and can’t stand a fail, someone disconnecting, etc, and generally likes to rage on TS3
- You want to do good runs but you don’t want to help with the mechanics and expect other people to carry you
- You tend to panic when things get hairy

I couldn’t find a post about this so…. Try as I might, I can’t use the potions of Verdant and Auric attunement that I dropped from Noxious Pods in Dragon’s stand.

When I try using them in the correct map I keep getting a on screen message telling me the potion has no use outside of the map… that I am already on!

A fix for this would be lovely.

With raids coming up next week, there’s never been a best time to apply!

Ping Aquabreather [PA] is a recently created semi-hardcore PVE guild based in EU. If you enjoy dungeons, fractals and look forward to raids, this might be the guild for you! This guild was created with the aim to provide a fun, dedicated community of players looking to run with the best strategies without the pressure of hardcore guilds.

We believe that any strategy can be taught, but! We will not teach you the basics of the game, knowing your main class inside out is a must. Above all we value awareness and the ability to learn.

What do we do? Dungeons, fractals, raids… If it exists, we’ll do it! Some of our players also have an interest in PvP and WvW, as well as organized events in the new Heart of Thorns maps. If you have interests beyond PVE, you’ll probably find someone to play with anyway!

All of our members are active, and we have an event calendar on which we plan Fractal dailies, dungeon runs, Hero Points completion, Guild Missions and more!

Requirements:
- Optimized damage gear and build depending on your class, this means being aware of the current meta for instanced PVE
- At least 2 optimized weapon sets for night and day instances
- Always use foods and potions where it’s useful (not necessarily the most expensive!), lazy does not cut it with us
- Be comfortable with weapon swapping during runs
- A positive and mature attitude! Be able to take constructive criticism and discuss your build choices.

Joining the guild:

Please make sure you have read this entire thread carefully before applying.

We are looking for people with a ‘can do’ attitude most of all, who have energy and will run with us, not follow us around. Awareness of your situation as well as your party’s at all times is very important to us.

If we think you are a fit for the guild, we will contact you to invite you to a few runs to give us an idea of your current knowledge of the game as well as your ability to take directions. If successful, you will be invited to the guild and given the ‘trialee’ rank.

Trial lasts for up to two weeks before you can become a full member. The words to complete your application on our website (last question) are: I love carcharias. At the end of those two weeks we will check on your progress and determine if you have worked on things we way have pointed out during trial.

You may be given member status before the end of the trial period if you already meet our expectations.

Representation is mandatory, we are not a side guild, even with the changes to guild chat. Exceptions can be made for WvW and PvP guild, but please note that you must still represent us at least 70% of the time.

Hi there! Maybe our warrior build section could help you out. It wasn’t specifically designed for open world, but you might still find it useful.

I tend to agree… One could argue that once the characters you intend to use for the highest level are fully equiped agony resistance wise, the cost goes down. But if you are using the fractal specific potions for each run, salvaging something ascended every other run and selling the trash loot you just won’t come out on top.

Even assuming you buy keys without spending gold, once you have done some ascended salving already, it still seems as though between the cost of the food and the potions we are still losing money.

This could also be down to the fact that we are getting less rares and exotics from end chests as before. At least, I am fairly certain I used to get one or two exotic pieces per runs at level 40+ before.

Whether this is just ‘perceived’ or real, it’s really not a good feeling.

Any update on this would be appreciated.

So far one single ball from a 100+ rings salvaged.

Well if chaining all swamps for 1 gold each becomes a thing there will be much more money generated out of fractals than from dungeon tour….

This worries me as well. What I get from the blogpost is that the farm won’t so much disappear as just be shifted to other content.

Well, I guess it’s a matter of perspective, I’m actually enjoying the way my druid holds its staff because it’s different from what I’ve seen before.

Thank you for the explanation. I was having this problem as well yesterday, as well as one of my friends who was driven to ‘ragequitting’ a run because of it. Restarting the game did indeed fix the issue, but it was unpleasant while it lasted.

It’s really not a question of how we are connected to the internet. I know of at least one person in my friends list who has the fibre and is connected via cable who experiences ping spikes up to 3k ONLY in guild wars2, not in other games.

Someone suggested that this might be a switch problem with some of the providers…

Same problem as above, since the patch I am getting ping spikes that make the game rather unplayable (some spikes up to 1900!), unless you are into five second delay on chat and skills. I have also traced and the problem is definitely coming from the other end. I’m not getting FPS issues, it’s purely ping problems.

On EU the problem is especially proeminent around peak hour when the servers are under stress, between 5pm and 22pm, some days even later than that.

I imagine this has been posted in here already but just in case… Traits affecting shouts do not affect the healing skill “Heal as One” which is now a shout. A fix would be lovely

Is this guild still active? I can’t seem to catch any of the officiers online no matter what time I log in, or get an answer to my in game mails. I’m interested in applying, but only if the guild has active players

I agree with the above 300%. I have an interest in playing Stronghold, but if it’s going to be the russian roulette, I’m not intereted in even trying.

Same here as above. I contacted support who told me to update my drivers, which I did, and unfortunately that did not fix the problem.

When I log on a map my FPS is fine for about a minute, then it goes down to 10FPS and even lower in LA.

Can a dev please state if that was the extent of the fix or if someone is still working on this?

Not trying to be kitten here I see that some people are alright with the fix, merely asking so those of us who still have very low fps know if they have to move on or not.

Not to rain on the parade but…. No noticable improvement for me either. Even after this fix my FPS still goes from 40-50 to 15-10.

Well, given how game breaking it is for a lot of people I feel fairly confident that they are indeed looking into this, plus we’ve had some officials on this thread saying as much already.

What personaly worries me is that I play with a very minimal configuration because it’s all I can afford at the moment, and before this patch I had finally reached a grand total of 40-45 fps during instances, with the aid of a cooling pad for my laptop, which finally allowed me to see animations in time to reach any kind of performance (mostly to be able to see animations in time to dodge!).

So if they give a fix, but peformance doesn’t go back to exactly the way it was, I certainly won’t be able to play the game anymore

Well at least now I understand why the trading post is always so ‘laggy’ for me :/

Absolutely game breaking for me as well, just tried a pvp game with 12-15fps, it’s just unplayable. I was actually fine immediately after patch, the fps drops started this morning for me. I hope this gets fixed soon, I see some people are on it…

I consider myself to be a semi-hc player and I wouldn’t run anything other than a full zerk party, but I would never come on your recruitement post just to tell you that what you are doing it’s bad, especially when you specified you were a casual group. To each their own!

Hi all, I am having the same issues are described above, and it’s all the more frustrating that Plains of Ashford is the last map I need for completion on my thief.

I see this thread is two months old yet I am having this problem now…. Which makes me wonder, has this been looked into at all?

I just reported the bug in game today, hopefully something will be done about it.

Same here, cannot access the living story content. Some of my guildies have been able to access and have shown me where but nothing for me, tried relogging etc. Just thought I would mention that this seems to be wide spread, as I have also seen it mentioned in map chat by other people.

Hoping for a quick fix! But enjoying the new map in the mean time

Not sure I’m in the right place for this, but I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing some settings/graphic issues since patch. I can ajust my graphic settings as usual in the pannel, but for a few settings nothing changes when I try adjusting, such as full screen gamma. Highest or lowest, nothing changes, which is slowing my game down considerably (I play on an i5 laptop).

I should probably mention that after the patch my game kept crashing and repair on the file would not work, so in the end I had to delete my local dat in order to get the game working. Since then I have had this problem.

All of my drivers are up to date.

PS: It might seem like an overreaction to most people for players to jump the gun like this, but that is only because it’s been building up for a long time now. Every additional bug will make the trigger shorter…

I certainly hope we will get our rewards soon. I would just like to add, as some other players have in this thread, that what bothers is not the delay, it’s the constant problems and bugs that come with every single patch, the general lack of testing and quality in the content releases (not the content itself).

Now, I don’t work in this industry and I don’t know how things work, but what I do know is that I have played other mmos and NEVER have I seen a game having as many problems with patches as GW2 does, and needing constant ‘repair’ after every update.

Also, it seems that some accounts get every major issues and bugs and others get none, or minor ones. I’m not sure what this is about, but there might be something worth looking into.

Or maybe you already know what the problems are, which is my guess, but it would be bad news for you to make it public.

Either way, this is appalling. I enjoy this game very much, but there is only so much a player can take before he decides to move on and spend his money elswhere.

I’m on Gunnar’s Hold, I have played the entire season on this server, and same as everyone else no chest. Hidden achiev does show 2nd place now which I think is the right rank for GH? Not sure now XD Anyway no rewards….

Also I read in this thread that the problem might be fixed on the 1st of July which would be AFTER the merchant for ticket exchange has been removed.

…….. so much fail.

The many bugs are starting to overwrite my enjoyment of the game, to be honest.

Well I hope you figure something out soon… As far as I am concerned pve is what I do most and since I have stopped getting rewards, I have stopped playing. I just connect for some wvw.

PS: It would be nice to have a dev response on this, just to know that you guys are working on this issue…

And add me to the list… Same problems as everyone, no chests, no daily reset etc. I have to say this is extremly disappointing. A small bug that affects one boss or one part of the map is something, but this is just unacceptable.

I have been trying unsuccessfully for a while now to transmute items, gear or weapons, lvl80. I am using the right crytals, not the stones, but still this is not working. Below is a screencap, any help would be much appreciated

I was under the impression that cultural gear of any level was transmutable, since a friend of mine bought T1 for his charr and kept transmuting it to new gear while leveling, but I bought T1 cultural armor for my sylvari thief, tried to transmute it and…. the tranmsute button stayed greyed out.

I thought this might be a gear level problem, so I tried transmuting all kinds of levels but to no avail. Gear level 10 or 60, and with different rarity, it doesn’t work.

The gear was of course all medium since it’s a thief, same as the cultural pieces, and I am using basic transmutation stones, since the T1 is level 35.

Could this be a bug?

Until yesterday I had never had any lag on GW2 but since then I have been having a lot of that… No problem on my internet I checked several times, everything else on my computer works as per usual.

I can get inside the game as fast as usual but when I’m there skills are very slow to activate when I press they keys, and I can be walking around WvW and suddenly find myself back on the map where I was or two minutes ago, or suddenly find myself dead without even seeing what happened or who attacked me.

Not sure if that’s helpful but I’m in France.
