Yes, I work on map completion while waiting. You can waypoint within the map you are currently in, but you can’t change maps or go to guild hall or WvW.

Are runes of the traveler and divinity going to get concentration and expertise?

Thanks for your help – I finally got this achievement. I did it by using the backwards dodge roll technique.

It would be double-nice to have a merchant that sold picks, sickles, and axes.

Do you have ascended accessories? The Bloodstone Fen rings are best in slot at the moment as it is cheap to change their stats.

I’d get accessories after weapons and before armor.

I’d like achievements added to the WvW legendary backpack collection, similar to what the PvP backpack has.

There might be cheevos for:
Winning a skirmish
Killing players
Killing guards
Taking camps
Taking towers

etc.

It would add a little something to the timegate.

You might park all your alts at the Pagga elder wood farm and cycle through them every time it refreshes. It’s pretty quick.

Alternatively, you could run your alts once a day to the rich iron node near Helliot Mine and then over to Pagga.

The best way to farm gold is to buy gems with money and convert.

I wanted to get autoloot on my second account so I had to do some masteries.

I did:
Level 10 to 70 personal story (7 points)
Kill Tequatl (1 point)
Hidden Garden jumping puzzle (1 point)
Kill Skritt Queen (1 point)
Lion’s Arch Exterminator (1 point)
Kill 4 legendaries in Silverwastes (5 points)
Kill each head of Triple Trouble (3 points)

That’s 19, all you need for autoloot.

Please make the ingredients for a cold-resistance potion account bound instead of soulbound.

I could buy an unlock pack for ritualist skills, would that save a lot of time?

Years ago I played GW1 and I want to get back into it for GW2 achievements. I have 3 level 20s with warrior, ranger, and monk primary, and a level 15 elementalist.

I’ve completed Prophecies and EOTN. My skill level is low to medium-low.

I see some builds for heroes that have 7 of them, but the first mission for Nightfall only allows three heroes.

My questions:
Should I use one of my existing characters, or level up a Ritualist spirit spammer?
What configuration of heroes should be used on the four-player mission? I’m dying on the boss with my warrior.

This started fairly recently. At the beginning of a round of Southsun Survival, all players have 1000 hitpoints. During the first two minutes, there is a grace period where if someone is killed they respawn and are still in the game. During the grace period, after a respawn, the player display does not show up as 1000 hitpoints. Environmental enemies (karkas) do less damage to respawned players as well, normally they one-shot you. Damage from players seems the same before and after respawn.

I will report this in-game the next time that Survival comes up in the rotation.

The last battle is not so much a fight as it is a repair orb sink. It wasn’t fun.

I would also like to endorse the Acer E15 series. Good bang for buck.

IMO having kitten is nice but not required, now that they are nerfing ABML.

I’d say this event was a failure. I had never even heard of “strange rock” before today.

I just use Eidolon as it looks the same as the aegis.

I would love a way to gift this item. It would be great as a guild giveaway.

IMO you should do the icy runestones at the very end. There are very few other uses for icy runestones so if you abandon the legendary you will have wasted 100 gold.

You can start by doing the appropriate dungeon, at least you will get some gold and loot out of it.

On reset night WvW can be fun if you can get in, try doing that this weekend. Make sure you set your WvW reward track to the Gift of Battle track, and use booster if you have one.

Avoid purchasing T6 mats until your clovers are done.

You can get clovers from the monthly reward chest, so don’t make too many clovers.

You don’t have to spend any money. Just farm some gold, buy 200 gems with it, and unlock the episode.

There will be some tedium with the dungeon runs. Be prepared.

Question: don’t the enemies in higher fractals have greatly increased toughness? So wouldn’t a condition damage 9/5 have a bigger effect?

I’ve made some money with rare purple dye but dyes are low volume items. You’ll have to collect your own grapes from the Fields of Ruin grape farm (southeast corner).

At one time brown pigment was valuable so I would gather potatoes from Loreclaw, make brown dye, and salvage.

Promoting bronze to iron ingots works pretty well, again you need to gather your own copper, there is a rich copper vein in the ettin cave in Queensdale where the oak event used to spawn.

You can also make the T7 mats. I got lazy and I let nearly 100 of each mat accumulate, I dread the effort to convert them to gold.

See the common thread in these? You have to go to the effort to collect mats and somehow add some value in order to get some profit.

For anyone searching this thread, I opened a ticket with support, they told me which character started the collection, I then did Hearts and Minds with that character, and the strap dropped.

If you do not multiloot you might also want to invest in ectoplasm. People are starting to hoard already (supply dropped from 900K to 700K) and the price has jumped from 28 to 34 silver.

Ecto was 50 silver before multiloot.

(disclaimer, I am sitting on 100+ massive globs of ectoplasm)

For the quest reward, I got a strap, but the strap I got didn’t fulfill the collection. It either wasn’t the right strap (vigil instead of priory) or it was bugged. Unfortunately I didn’t screenshot the strap that I got. I cannot make progress on the collection now.

I have a Broken Caladbolg. I sent them a message. We’ll see if they send me one.

Did Hearts and Minds again on my ranger. The collection item still didn’t appear. So frustrating.

As happens, the suspect character has completed all the way to Bitter Harvest, but has not completed the original story or any of the other storylines. This should not matter?

All the items in the collection are unlocked except the last one that you get by completing Hearts and Minds. Some of the items were purchased by alts that didn’t start the collection. So all you have to do is do Hearts and Minds with the character that unlocked the collection. But, I believe the character that unlocked the collection is a member of the Vigil. That should not matter?

Okay, I found out that one of the items (Priory tuning crystal) was purchased by another character who is not in the Priory. But I cannot repurchase the crystal. Am I stuck?

Looks like I deleted/salvaged/sold the Novice’s Pack.

Am I out of luck?

Any way to tell which character started the collection? Almost all my characters are Vigil, I don’t think I have any other Priory characters.

Recently, I completed Hearts and Minds with my engineer who is a member of the Durmond Priory.

This should have awarded the “Dragonvine Priory Strap”. I see that the progress on Hearts and Minds is complete, but the strap was not awarded.

Does Hearts and Minds have to be completed twice? This wasn’t the case with my Vigil and Order of Whispers characters.

If I do Hearts and Minds again with this character, (ugh), will it work? I do not have another character in the Priory.

Is the problem just another bug with Hearts and Minds?

I just want them to stop being so darn stingy with the achievement points. A rare collection giving 3 points? What’s up with that?

I cut down trees, I eat my lunch, I go to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays I go shopping and eat buttered scones for tea.

That would be something cool for Chef 500 to make.

I didn’t know there was an upgrade to the candy corn node. That’s my goal now!

If you have multiple characters each doing 2 crafts, pick two crafts for a character that, between the two crafts, cover all of the ascended materials: wood, cloth, metal, and leather.

One of these combinations might be armorsmith and huntsman. There are more now because they added leather to the armorsmith recently.

I didn’t do this and I have to switch between characters to do my daily ascended crafting.
