[ETA]-HoD or wherever Mega-server-blob who cares anymore?
You know, I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire WvW team is literally like 3-4 people with 1 of them (i think Devon ?) simply put kinda in charge.
I’m sure it’s economics. It’s labor intensive and internally viewed as a small piece of the pie for gem sales.
I mean realistically how does Anet differentiate between PvE and WvW players? I’m going to assume most players spend some time doing each. Did you buy that Gem store armor to look cool in Lion’s Arch or did you get it for screenshots while you stomp an uplevel trying to solo a camp? I’m not sure why I did, I bet Anet has even less idea.
Sure server transfers, which seem to be on the rise right now ( good job on that Anet ) and finishers are likely the results of WvW direct sales. One can only assume that it’s less income than they receive from the cosmetic and trinket sales which are likely eclipsed by the Gem to Gold Market.
Time will tell I guess.
I assume you two typo’d and meant to say 2013.
You make an excellent point.
#WvWAbandoned2014
Yeap.
I don’t think anyone really believes they are just working SO hard they don’t have ANY time to stop by the forums and drop a cookie for the players.
Meanwhile tune in for our weekly sPvP development live streams every Friday!
#WvWAbandoned2014 , So it seems.
SBI has been hit with 2 exodus since the game went live, and a lot of us don’t really blame it on Anet. People buy this game, and if they chose to either pay real money to transfer, or farm a crap load of gold to transfer, then isn’t that their right? Why should anet keep players from enjoying the game the way they want to enjoy the game?
In the end, some people always think the grass is greener, but as in real life, they find that the new grass dies just like the old.
HoD has seen it’s fair share of transfers while I’m been here as well. I don’t begrudge any Guild for moving servers. Mine has as well in the past.
Even if you disagree with me try, and understand what SBI didn’t have to go through was a massive flood of free transfers directly before a WvW season. I could barely even play for the first 3 weeks of the tournament because of multi hour queues. Anet was wholly responsible for it, despite outcry from the HoD community and every other server who didn’t get a fair shot at silver.
Look, I’m not looking for sympathy. I’d just like to not see it repeated again. It’s not good for the health of the game and it’s sapped a lot of dedicated players will to play. I would imagine Anet is in the business of getting people to play their game not discourage it. They should take at least a passing interest in their player’s experiences.
There’s a very real topic here that should be discussed but, this thread is probably going to get locked because you’ve chosen to accuse another server of actions you have no proof of. GW2wvw isn’t a credible source, not even close.
What has happened to HoD isn’t unique and Anet has yet again received a windfall of paid transfers after the fact. It’s all greatly impacted my game play in a decidedly negative way. I wonder is the dollars coming in reaching their ears more sharply than the complaints on these forums?
I think with this past season, the ham-handedness of the free transfers might have actually cost them some pretty sizable player base in the end. But, I have no real data to back it up. It’s purely anecdotal. I know I’m having less fun when entire guilds have retired and I’m the only person in my guild logging in daily anymore. General feeling around the HoD natives is that the free transfers cost us much more than what a couple shiney weapons are worth.
Deserted WvW isn’t going to keep me around paying Gems for whatever doodad that gets released next. There’s nearly no sense of community left in the game. Just patches of nameless faceless players I’ll probably never see again. If this is the vision of the game going forward, I don’t think it’s going to be on my playlist much longer.
I love this idea with one caveat…
Only achievable in Vanilla WvW maps. EotM doesn’t need a specific draw it’s already plenty popular.
It certainly won’t solve all the games problems but, should be an easy to implement draw to give people something to do.
End of year financial reports are coming out. We can analyse them in due course.
Two words: China sales.
Hey it’s all new to them!
I suddenly feel like Alfred E. Neuman, “What, me worry?”
Whether its stacking tier 1 or people moving to tier 2 for fights its all gem sales for ANet.
Either way they make money from changing absolutely nothing.
Sadly here lies a major conflict of interest for a Free to Play game. Make money now or retain players for later?
I hope someone from Anet reads this thread and takes it to heart.
Not even here to complain. Just please, breathe some life into the WvW game mode before I’m the last one of my guild mates left playing it.
I find myself in EotM more and more lately because vanilla WvW doesn’t have the magic it once did. More and more often waves of “apathy” wash over me in there as the endless Karma Training takes it’s toll on me.
Players need goals to work on. Veteran Players want status items/titles/whatever as proof of their long term commitment. We’ve financially supported you for a long time now and refreshing WvW would be a nice thank you for those of us that have been around for a long time.
I’m throwing in on some already mentioned ideas.
Golem Rushes are a real crutch in the mid and lower tier match ups. Golems have their place in the siege-meta but, I feel the idea of 20 Omegas surprising a keep and capping it against no defense isn’t exactly ideal gameplay. Slowing their arrival and marking their location would be a game changer in favor of defensive play and limiting “ninja” offense. The only catch is. It really needs to only be triggered by Golems. I have no idea if your code allows the distinction between players and golems.
Intel that doesn’t require running an alt account on the other server. Like it or not ( I think it’s cheap ) many guilds will just run alt account characters to spy on commander movements. This has lead many guilds to stop “tagging up” which has made WvW a much more difficult thing to just “jump in and enjoy” for more casual players when a friendly “Pugmander” isn’t available. Just give the players a non-cheating way to get the intel they crave and maybe people can just get back into playing the game, instead of gaming the system.
Bonus “out there idea”:
I know there’s nothing quite like this in the game engine right now but, I’m fascinated by how this might affect a group’s performance. Lose sight of the commander? Good luck finding him. Enemy flanking attack? Suprise! Incoming Poison Cow? Too late to dodge it now.
I’m not sure if this is the sort of thread Anet is likely to read and take a lot of heart from but, I’ll just say what everyone is saying.
Lack of attention.
It lacks the development time, the communities fall apart, it stagnates.
EotM pulls new players away from the primary maps. Guilds have trouble recruiting new players and everyone piles up to the last few servers with lively match ups.
And Anet just neglects it. We’re told it’s too much work to have match up threads so I guess we’re left to assume that WvW is just too much work to maintain as well. There’s no communication.. just a lot of closed threads.
Cheating, stacking, off hour coverage… all just makes the matches less fun than they should be. Doesn’t seem to be much concern about it though.
Most people I know play for the WvW. Sure they PvE some too, some more than others but, there’s less and less of the old guys from release left. I don’t see a lot of new guys coming into it.
This is a very interesting opinion since so many seem to feel the other way. We make every effort to put the player character at the center of the story because…well…it’s your story. But, I also believe that the player character doesn’t always have to be the one with the answers. Sometimes, your teammates (Rox, Braham, etc.) need to help out or risk becoming faceless flunkies. There’s a balance point, of course. Your teammates are an extension of you, living through your story with you.
This is an excellent point. Good examples of this in action is Trahearne verses Tybalt.
Trahearne abducts your personal story to the point where he takes nearly all credit at the end. It was forgettable at best despite the grand “save the world” scale of it all.
Tybalt treats you as an equal, neither the Player nor Tybalt feel like big players in the grand scheme of things. It’s a simple mission filled with character where Tybalt feels less of a mentor than a co-conspirator in some roguish hijinx.
It’s not necessarily the scope of the action, but the level of personal interaction that is the key. It’s not important to be the guy with all the answers, just that you weren’t just along for the ride, force fed story.
Ellen Kiel suffers somewhere in the middle. She was rarely directly involved in the action and was a glorified quest hub npc at times. Still it saddens me she has moved to near irrelevance, given the amount of time and interaction that was spent with her. Mayhaps she’ll redeem her character ( which honestly needs a bit of work ) in the future but, for now she might just as well be forgotten along side the Destiny’s Light drama club.
The current cast is light years better and shows some real progress in story telling. I hope to see some really memorable work coming from the future. This is an area where the Anet team really seems to have listened to the players and made some meaningful work.
Same bug as those above me. Repeated disconnects and rollbacks.
Add me to the growing list of players not receiving a chest, despite a complete meta.
I’m going to echo what is already been said here above.
WvW is great, I love it, and I’d like more of it but, it is so far beyond stale it’s bordering on embarrassing.
I don’t know what more to say that hasn’t already been said but, I won’t continue to play your game if you don’t continue development of WvW, which means I won’t be spending money in your gem shop and historically when I stop playing an mmo I don’t come back.
Maybe you don’t care and I guarantee your silence on these forums isn’t convincing anyone you do.
Not a whole lot has changed with the current patch.
There’s several really good write ups on the options available for Guardians that are still current in today’s environment. Which you prefer depends on the type of player you are.
Harbinger has a great write up here for WvW:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/guardian/Guide-World-Vs-World-The-Guardian-and-You/first
For PvE stuffs go to Obal’s:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/guardian/Guide-DPS-Guardian-for-PVE/first
Brutaly, Amins, Christos all have well respected guides as well if you want some further reading.
For the PvE thing? Sure you could use those but, I think Scholars Runes are still much better if you can afford them.
For anything else I wouldn’t recommend them. Burn Duration and burn on hit just doesn’t seem appealing to me and wastes slots that could have had better stats in them.
The only advantage as stands with Guardian Burns is how rapidly they can be reapplied making condition removal sort of moot. I don’t see burn duration being any great advantage. For conditions that stack in intensity duration would be more important to the overall damage produced but, with Burns, such as they are, 100% uptime shouldn’t be too hard to work out with out building for it specifically.
Same issue as above. I can receive whispers and see guild chat but can not send any.
/sarcasm : Wait what of The Bendravi Alliance? Best buds for ever right? Unless you can’t come in second… Then I suppose… how do the kids say? “To Tier Eight with you!”
All kidding aside, We were really looking forward to a match up with ol’YB, shame it’s been a bit of a face roll but, there’s been some good fights. Great to see some old friends still out in the field even if they are on the wrong team.
Rena, what is this supply trap defense everyone is speaking of?
We just send Azawrath ahead of us, he doesn’t need supply for his assassination missions. Who knows how many he trips off in his blood hunt? Might want to try stealth traps instead.
Let’s face it the player base isn’t exactly growing. Close a few servers and redistributing the population would probably do wonders but, just isn’t going to happen for business reasons.
Besides, MEGASERVERS. Solves everything right? Right guys? Right?
CC in any game should never exceed X duration, people want to play not spend copious amounts of time unable to move or fight back. .
This guy gets it!
Knock Down, Stuns, Blowbacks, Immobilize it’s like the worst sort of game play and it only works when there’s a counter. It all has it’s place, but occasionally it just goes out of bounds and leaves the player helpless. It’s not a good feeling and it sure isn’t fun.
Some classes get good counters but, others do not. A small review of how CC effects different professions and specs would go a long ways towards balancing it out better.
There’s always been something off about the map caps. I’ve had times where I was locked in a queue and guild mates that queued hours after me got in before me.
I’ve seen Guild mates locked at number 1 in queue for hours unable to enter. I’ve occasionally seen one of these “Mega Blobs” on a BL where the map count surely doesn’t support it. Maybe it was just the maximum level of coordination in action?
While I can understand Anet’s reasoning for hiding the mechanics behind it all, it makes finding bugs purely speculative. Not long ago Anet “fixed several bugs and exploits with map queues” Which? I guess that means there were some, maybe there still are. Danged if I know.
So please, HoD. Continue bragging about your off-hour coverage. We’ll continue farming you for bags when we’re actually online.
Sounds like win/win for everyone.
Oh yeah… by the way, did anyone remember to mention HoD won Bronze league last season too? 2-0 Keep the streak. Who’s next? Blackgate?
#HengeOfDestiny #HeroesOfDenravi #HOD3XCHAMPS
Okay, so now, as detailed in our agreement, we shall deliver bags to you during NA Prime. Thanks for allowing this shameless chest thumping.
HoD’s coverage is simply better for OCX and SEA. We dominate all other time zones though.
Can’t rightly blame coverage in the middle of the weekend can we?
Wait, no you’re right. HoD is unbeatable, just line up now and let us execute you for bag drops till the Season is over,
Our server watched “Henge of Denravi” Server amass numbers from surrounding Servers. However obtaining these “new” or “transfer” Players didn’t make them better as a Server.
You’re retconning history here. The last time NSP beat HoD in a matchup was Aug. 10th http://mos.millenium.org/servers/view/42/93 HoD was doing a fine job of improving itself since S1 ended where we started this season reflects the work we did to get here… long before free transfers.
They have the same amount, if not more Hackers in WvW, which is for some reason being ignored by ArenaNet, Their numbers swelled severely, contaminating accurate results from Week 1 of this Tournament.
If this is an issue it’s up to Anet to solve it, no one on HoD is advocating cheating.
Feel free to contact HoD through www.hengeofdenravi.com if you have proof of cheating, while we can’t ban them from the game we can ban them from our Teamspeak, our guilds and our community website. We’re as powerless to do anything meaningful about it as you are.
Crystal Desert got slapped in the face as their primer Guilds left them.
I’d let CD speak for themselves here. This was a planned exodus and was discussed with HoD’s community extensively before it occurred. Guilds leave, HoD has lost a lot of guilds over time, I’m sure NSP has as well. What’s the relevance? Who are we blamming?
Honestly other Servers in Bronze League could have used the population boosts over us in Silver League.
Maybe.
Anet needs to own up to the population imbalances and make some meaningful improvements. These free transfers are a hot mess and could have been handled better but, at least as is stands now, there’s some volatile match ups coming ahead so lets enjoy the possibilities of some unexpected outcomes.
I wish NSP the best of luck, maybe you should set your goals to beating Borlis Pass, SoR or higher. Nothing is written in stone.
I’ve always liked screaming, “For the Yak!”, when I charge into battle with a group. That’s just me, I don’t think people like it =(
Way back on Yak’s Bend we used to use “Winter is coming” back when Honnor was running the community and I know Rena was pushing “The Evil Empire” for a while after the community shake up Prior to S1. Been a while since I played on Yak’s Bend but the original WvW community there was my favorite I’ve experienced.
YB is very interested in the match up. This will determine where we really will be placed in the league. We have friends on both servers, so, yeah, we expect to be pushed
Pushed with love maybe <3 Yakkies
Also, both CD and NS are not to be underestimated.
^ This. I’d love to see CD and NSP perform beyond expectations. They still have some really strong guilds and their coverage isn’t awful. HoD might be getting a lot of spotlight but, these servers got some freebie transfers as well and might have a few surprises in them yet.
Gosh, I love all the speculation.
I heard HoD had 16 eyes and 7 legs with a maw filled with Marzipan.
The only fight that matters right now is HoD versus YB. Just expect any fight with HoD to be an endurance race, because for every 100 people in queue there’s another 100 who didn’t bother. You’ll need to pull a lot of long shifts if you want to beat the numbers game.
But anyone that can match HoD on coverage? Yeah, there’s no community yet, half the guilds are running around anon and not even communicating. There’s some cooperation and it’s apt to get better and honestly HoD needed some new blood… maybe not quite so much new blood… but there’s some real solid guilds in the mix. Whatever.
So anyways Yak’s Bend has PvEers who will WvW and HoD has WvWers who have to PvE… we’ll have to wait to find out the answer the question no one was asking!
I sort of chaulk it up to what sort of player wants to play a Guardian. I personally feel drawn to “Tank” and “Healing” archetypes in games. The Guardian is the closest incarnation of these in GW2 in my eyes. A class that can be very durable and provide support and sustain to his/her group.
So my first expectation is to be very durable regardless of how I spend points or load out. And I think in most aspects of the game this works out. Even full on Zerk builds have blocks and invulnerability other classes do not. Only in the case of conditions does the low HP pool really start to hold you back and that only really becomes a major issue when fighting players who can rapidly apply conditions faster than your cleansing options.
Second expectation is support. In which the Guardian is well known for it’s defensive boons, which are unfortunately in the mechanics of the game, only going to get you so far. They help with sustain, but a well timed dodge is worth far more than any amount of regen you can produce. I get it, no holy trinity… it’s how things have to be.
So often I feel shoehorned, into increasing my defense and support aspects.. which is my own prerogative and something most Guardians will invest into. There’s good traits there, but nothing that changes how the Guardian plays really… just enhancements to our existing base abilities.
Obviously there’s very strong PvE DPS specs as well, so thats not really a valid complaint. There’s other classes that are weaker in PvE, so I gotta feel we’re all thinking WvW or PvP.
My personal pet peeve is getting controlled. As the single most melee dependant class in the game, we’re not the most fierce hand to hand classes out there either. Our CC abilities are very short ranged and easily avoidable. I constantly get stunned, immobilized, crippled far beyond what cleansing options we have a available. And often find it a struggle to stay on top of many other much more mobile classes…. which would be fine if I didn’t know what sort of options are available for other classes.
I would like to have more disabling conditions, things to pressure my opponents, punish them for allowing me to connect. I’d like a passive trait that increases run speed while melee weapons are equipped like Warriors, rather than having to make choices like running Staff or Traveler Runes when swiftness isn’t otherwise available.
That to me would increase build variety. I’m not looking to be the new condition master. I just don’t want to feel like a big lumbering lummox being kitted when we have nearly zero escape options.
I would probably use a weaker shorter cool down tome more often, depending on how much weaker it is.
Far as PvE goes, sort of moot. Most of the content is so easy you could run it without an elite in the first place anyways.
SPvP the cooldown makes it a bad match up with the high paced nature and you’re unlikely to maximize its usage due to the small team sizes anyways.
Which leaves WvW as the place it sees the most usage, still it’s a rare sight at times. Renewed focus is far from useless and offers the Guardian some protection when focused where the Tomes only really shine when you’re zerged up. Pretty niche useage in my opinion, but given how effective it can be, the cooldown seems more justified.
HoD never fights unless their zerg out numbers heavily. Pretty funny actually rofl.
This is actually spot on. We actually don’t really care to get our hands dirty. It’s unfitting.
Sure I mean, some incredibly petty people are jealous because we inherited our vast World Vs. World holdings. But honestly, some of us just come from superior lineage. You can’t fault us for maintaining our massive PPT fortunes through careful investments into Facebook stocks.
Just pull yourselves up by the bootstraps, just like our Great Grand father Harold Oswald Denravi did when he opened up all those coal mines for the immigrants to work in. Get your kids into good state run colleges and maybe if they work hard they could manage their very own McShiverpeaks or Desert King someday!
Also be sure to tune into the season finale of “The Real WuvWuvs of Denravi” where things are about to get really catty! The implosion is real, don’t miss a thrilling second!
It has it’s uses in WvW definitely. It works well for taking down siege, the immobilise is decent and can help you stick to some classes. Use it with the focus normally. The scepter Auto attack moves slowly so smart players will sidestep them, the trade off is they hit reasonably hard for a ranged attack and connecting shots will hurt but, it’s none too bursty.
In SPvP it’s not as useful, due to the close quarters of combat melee weapons just flat out dps it.
Gah… seriously.
I think “proof from in game experience” is do you die all the time or do you kill stuffs… Which honestly… you are never going to show me a math equation or bell curve that’s going to 100% prove any more reliable. My apologies if you’re a math major and working on a thesis on the statistical variances of GW2 armors.
Every set of gear that had crit damage is getting nerfed, so unless you’re banking on Rampagers or whatever being the new DPS “meta” expect to see a drop off regardless of whatever gear set you strap on.
Celestial looks fine for after patch, it’s still not going to be “optimal” for extreme variables, but should work, just in the same way it did before. And if you thought it was the one set to rule them all before… news flash it wasn’t. Just another choice that may appeal more to some than others.
Such underestimation for HoD… wait till you witness the terror as we pile our own bodies building a corpse ladder right up into Stone Mist, spread our remains to fertilize the ferns inside and yet, still our QUEUES SHALL BLOT OUT THE SUN… but at least you can fight in the shade, no?
You guys probably hate the postal service too. Just let us deliver your packages! We’re unionized, watchout!
Really why so much hate? Anet built this creature, this monster, this HoD. We didn’t ask for life, yet you mock our soulless frame as it shambles forth feeling no pain, not even understanding it’s own existence? Shameful.
PS: I realize how much hate I’ll likely get for this from my fellow HODORians, but I make jokes because the alternative is to cry. See yall tonight provided I make it past the 6 hour Queue wall before some other poor shlep does.
Okay I read you, I misunderstood you there.
you’re not going to find many people traiting 30 into zeal to get it.
Oh yes… yes they will. Do not underestimate the bads. They always ride single file to hide their numbers.
Okay purely hypothetically speaking, wouldn’t a 0/0/30/20/20 give you Heal on buff, Heal on burn, Might on crit and dodge heals? Sure you would loose Pure of Voice, but say Soldier runes+Signet of Purity+Purity would handle a fair amount of conditions. I realize there’s some trade offs there, but without doing the math my gut tells me that could make for an awful lot of incoming healing yes? Maybe that’s fine, but I would consider it a pretty strong buff.
You guys seem pretty tight and I personally enjoyed the musical selection… but I’d rather see small team combat on a BL… EBG is just too ripe for videos like this I don’t get the sense you’re overcoming really skilled groups. I hope that isn’t too critical, thanks for sharing though.
Interesting concepts, I’ve always felt like Shielded Mind and Indomitable Courage should just as well be combined, both are useful for sure but, would make for a better GM trait if combined.
The VoC passive you suggest would probably be too good to activate. Would be like the warrior healing signet, a suicide button. Although a passive 10% damage reduction would just about be welcome at this point.
Your VoJ/VoR proposal would make nice sense with Permeating Wrath sort of an offensive version of AH, but I wonder if it wouldn’t be excessive if you were combining AH with PW in a build.
I actually have two warriors I’ve leveled up ( I have an alt addiction ) and hands down I feel they are the best class in the game currently. Just in terms of the multiple, different, interesting specs, weapon choices and the fact you can still feel tanky with arms filled with dynamite. Just a great all round you can do it all class, super fun.
Yet, I have well over 2k hours on my Guardian despite all that. Even though I often feel my hands are tied and there’s classes I just can’t equally compete with.. there seems to be some sort of calming awe I bring to our WvW group. Everyone tells me things are just better, they last longer, get more kills when I’m on the Guardian. Sometimes I have trouble seeing it.
I intend to continue with the Guardian until I see how the balance plays out after patch. I just think it’s insane that Warriors have been where they are at for so long and Guardian are apparently so close to being game breaking that our biggest change is going to be a Vigor nerf that no one was asking for. Seriously, Anet… where’s the “OMG NERF PERMA DODGE GUARDIAN” threads? /boggle
Historically, when these balance notes come out, they don’t showcase all the little nerfy balance changes. Maybe Guardians are fine and Anet intents to bring everyone down to our level? One can hope, yes?
I just don’t know what I would even want from a spirit weapon. Pets are always the worst mechanic in MMOs and every pet dependant class wants some way to get rid of them.
I mean seriously you want some autonomous summon to do your gameplay for you? I’d rather have whatever effect they grant as a pure cast on demand, brainless summoned drones are always going to be just that.
On the plus side, most mesmers are more annoying than threatening. I’ll frequently ignore them as engage them. Just like chasing down Run-a-Way Warriors or wack-a-mole’ing Stealth Thieves you could better spend your time tattooing your own face with a blue ball-point pen for your Norn Cosplay for next years Comic-Con.
Conditions are just terrible all throughout the game, the stacking restrictions imposed by the core mechanics makes having more than one or two condition classes around useless anyways.
If they were to add more conditions to the Guardians repertoire, I’d rather see something disabling or debuffing than damaging anyways. Better fits with the concept of the guardian being a support/mitigation specialist. Chills, weakness, cripples, immobilize and blinds are all more interesting to me than burns.
For a class with pretty weak mobility over all it makes sense in my mind at least, yet Warriors have much better access to these despite their higher mobility, higher defense and generally better damage. shrug
I’ve had pretty positive results playing around with it. You’ll definitely want to mix and match some other stats around in your jewelry slots and weapons. In my opinion full on Celestial in every slot would leave some weak points.
The traveler’s runes really open up some options for weapon selection and utilities you might not have been able to fit in otherwise.
I still think PVT gear would be best for frontline zerging and Zerker is still your best bet for speeding through PvE stuffs, but in Roaming/Small Group WvW or casual PvE the Celestial Armor paired with appropriate jewelry definitely works. If you don’t like the idea of crafting multiple sets, you could do a lot worse than Celestial.
Nice to to hear Yak’s is getting back to it’s roots.
I guess I’ll keep using same build I’ve been using since the beta.
Disappointing.
Playing a guardian is months of watching 7 other classes get new toys .
Come on, it’s not that hard. There’s lots to do. At first glance, spirit weapons aren’t even skills. There are no condition builds. Guardian mobility is garbage and half of it dependent on having rabbits around. Address these issues.
Guardian builds have barely budged since launch. Warriors got even a brand spanking new trait for having trouble dealing with boons. What the hell?
Why does this seem so obvious to the player base but, not to the devs? What do we need to do to get the point across? Would any of these issues unbalance Guardians if addressed?
Personally I feel Guardian’s have been falling behind in the “power creep” for a while in the WvW game.
“In a good place” reads more like “we’re too lazy”. Maybe I’m alone in the observation, but I notice there’s less and less Guardians around. Which sort of says it all does it not?
Why would they even say “You won’t see a huge amount of balance changes to the guardian”? They have to know it’s going to irritate the players.
HoD is looking like a huge bandwagon server right now.
I know right?
Wait is that a good thing or a bad thing?
I’ll let you know when my queue finally pops.
Try www.HengeofDenravi.com if you’re looking for a guild.
Try Crystal Desert of you’re looking for a server. The season hasn’t even started and pre-free transfer HoD players already can’t get into our own WvW maps, consider a different server.
