despite wut anyone says no build or class is super difficult to play. most attacks hit very hard or spammable or takes quick reflexes to dodge. why do tourny player look no better than avg player. why skill gap so narrow?

which burst is hardest to pull off?

is tis still favorable for theif oram i wasting my time?

yes. Rangers have virtually no disengage, so they drop real fast in a 2v1.

thief can easily get away in 2v1 or 3v1 or even 4v1.

This is all true. I don’t believe that the statement that rangers outdamage a thief BY FAR is true. Do they do more damage at 1500-800 range? Probably, however, rangers have difficulties if you have LOS available which effectively puts their dps to 0. As a thief you can easily out dps a ranger in melee. Along with the ability to neutralize their dps with blinds.

And if you’re in wvw and not hitting for 3k with autos I’d add some more power. Dagger autos crit for some absurd values (and with newly added cleave!) and technically backstab is an auto attack too. Sword crits can easily reach above 3k as well.

what build hits 3k autos? i never seen that

dude i have no trouble killing a turret engi on most builds/classes, but it takes too long and teammates dont know

ruins a quick game for me

i cant enjoy a casual game without a turret engi

they’re garbage in serious ranked matches and they’re nuisance in pug games. they serve no purpose besides trolling.

i never seen one my autos hit for 2.5k

There are really only 2 meta builds atm. Here are the details:

S/D Acro

D/P Trickery

With regards to an “easy” build. I would say S/D has more survive-ability… But it’s not really easy to play.

I’d suggest trying both and see which one you like the best.

S/D is easier than d/p atleast at higher levels from my exp

Why does anet allow this? These types of builds are really annoying.(SA condi thief, pu mes, etc)

Hear ppl defend this by saying its to counter bunkers. Then why the toughness? bunkers dont do dmg. All it does is give power builds a hard time.

how do you deal with zergs and mesmers with the camera? sometimes my view is all over the place

Hardly any new content?!!!!!!!!! look at what other Sub based MMO’s (looking at you WoW) put out in their first 2 years and GW2 is either on par with them or blows them out of the water. All for free!!

And if you think GW2 is exceptionally buggy then you must be new to the MMO genre. It’s about the same with any other MMO I have played. Especially with new patches.

In 2 yrs wow had an expansion not some gimmick LS

They’re not really viable in most settings. Seems like they were only made for lesser skilled players to annoy others.
