If you don’t like map completion then don’t do it. If you need the gift of exploration … well that is part of the price tag.
The API does list it as scaling by 40%. Wonder where it is pulling that value from.

Edit: Seems to be a tooltip bug. The tooltip is only showing the damage for 1 hit instead of 4.

Nothing will ever beat the trading post but that also requires various sets of skills as well as willingness to take the risk.
Simon requires about 80g but I don’t see anything particularly expensive for the rest.
There isn’t much things of value in those. You can see the stuff at https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Level_rewards
Uh that is not the problem with those sites.
The typical issue is that the key seller uses stolen credit cards to buy the keys. Some indeterminate amount of time later(depending attentiveness of the card owners) the owner of the card realize what happened and contacts their credit card company and probably does a chargeback because it was a not a purchase that they actually made.
The keys were always legitimate so they will check out. The money used to buy them on the other hand isn’t necessarily so. Not all keys are fraudulent since there are other cases where the seller could have obtained the keys for cheaper such as during sales or something they were bought in a different region of the world for non-region locked keys.
Shouldn’t that be the other way around? Once you know how it goes it should be much easier to go through.
Yes that’s my point. Also the fauna is different: where are all the devourers gone?
Found a vet on one of the pyramids. What is missing are Jade Scarabs …
On the other hand the entire region has been altered by Palawa Joko and the Kralkatorrik’s actions. They are the type of things IRL that would trigger species migration and provide evolutionary pressure.
There are actually a bunch of scarabs on the way up to the vista on the northeast side of the demo area. I don’t know if they’re anywhere else though.
Edit: unless regular scarabs don’t count and they have to be jade ones.
They’re also really common around the southern border
I saw scarabs too and yes it needs to be Jade Scarabs to count. Also needs to be hidden until you get close to them.
It looks like whatever causing the problem for the shield is also causing it for the “Awakened” weapons. In the case of the Awakened weapons it is probably intentional since those are supposed to be from PoF but this might be a potential clue.
Shouldn’t that be “Warning: Pre-order != pre-purchase”?
As long as you have the skin unlocked that shouldn’t matter.
Haven’t had any issue besides slightly longer load times inside the demo.
Movement is handled client side so rubberbanding is a bit unusual. I have played with anywhere from 600 to over 3000 ping(due to the occasional ISP hiccup) without rubberbanding ….
If you are on an EU server they might still be recovering from the previous issue.
Berserker still works fine for most things.

The other vendor is in Ember Bay.
What you are experiencing is probably the more recently introduced bug which breaks any sort of shadowsteping skill
Not being able to set a keybind for the mount abilities would also be pretty awful …
Didn’t put the pass in my bank so I couldn’t check out the inside but judging from the outside the Mistlock Sanctuary is probably a better choice.
It also depends on people choosing correct colors. Using a green tag while standing in the green part of the map isn’t helping anyone.
Why is it bad?
At least it can stack, and that’s handy!1. It replaces all sources of Rare and Exotic Gear
2. It doesn’t replace all sources of Fine, Common, and Masterwork gear.So now, we no longer get good loot. We have to pay for a chance of earning a Rare or Exotic from the loot we’ve earned in the world. It doesn’t stop inventory clutter. It costs 1.67 silver to identify – far more than the materials are generally worth. Instead of having to go to a vendor to sell our sigils, we now have to go to one to identify our gear if we want rares/exotics. And, because it all salvages when you hit “Salvage all Masterwork and Below”, we can’t even simply clear our inventory of trash in the open world without losing all our Exotics and rares!
it’s a massive step back in terms of inventory management.
They are basically the same as Bag of Gear except you can skip the opening step.
And lose all potential Exotics, Rares, and ectos. Where the hell are people getting the idea that the color of the unidentified item corresponds to the tier of rarity – There’s one tier of unidentified item: Green. It identifies into White, Blue, Green, Yellow, or Orange.
In that case they are worse than Bag of Gear …

I guess your browser is having difficulty connecting to the API. Have you tried a different browser? Tried clearing your cache?
or using something like NoScript and various other similar technologies.
It’s pretty obvious why they are linear … just look at the amount of points available and the amount needed to max everything. The second issue is mastery based lock out for content.
These are not working as expected. Pressing the key for Mount Ability 1 causes it to behave as if spacebar was pressed. Clicking on the ability gives the correct behavior.
When changing the keybind the key is not reflected in the display. It shows a 1 in the circle regardless of what key is set.

The other thing to consider is that these also cost karma. Is karma hard to get? No but neither is walking up to a sapling and pressing F.
This sort of situation is actually perfect for a TP baron. Sell highish(now), buy low(after release), sell high(once people have burned through all their karma thinking how great the new system it).
I thought the same but the rates and availability of everything seems too high to be real considering what they typically do. Alternatively maybe they learned from HoT that making things too grindy was to their own detriment.
For the real version I am leaning towards either daily limit on the crates or only one type of crate per day on some sort of rotation and maybe still with a limit or a limit on how many trade contracts you can get per day. Possibly nerfs to the drop rates of those contracts.
Took three tries to get it. Got a bit thrown off on the second try by the fact that the boar meat is not from the roasted pig on the table. Once I got the correct association between name and location it was pretty easy, this is definitely something I would recommend doing with sound.
It did feel a bit too long. I think it cycled through the ingredients at least 3 times.
Also what is up with the running around? If he is going to run around anyway what is the point of having someone around grabbing the ingredients for him?
I got this on my third try, but my main complaint about this minigame is that literally ANYTHING blocks the throw. Even the 1 foot high counters block the throw.
Adjusting the throw arcs a little bit would fix this problem.
Failed a throw due to the table with the shark meat. After that I just moved to the center/corner of the room for throwing.

This is when you realize you should get an invisible bag.
Huh … don’t worry the bounties have plenty of those
I could understand PvP (because it’s a closed environment). And that might be the reason; the damage caused by any problems and bugs might not affect and impact as many players in those two modes.
PvE would create problems on a larger scale. I am just guessing, but it seems plausible. Also, they can get immediately some balancing data and feedback. There is a difference of you shooting some random NPC occasionally or when teams of players use the skills against each other in a high-stress environment.
Excelsior.
wouldn’t it be better to find out about bugs before release? what is the point of trying to discourage finding bugs?
Hopefully this won’t be the only source for the bigger bags ..
The newer books you can just toss since interacting with any of the items for them will give you a new copy.
You want a complicated game? Look at POE.
Also no popups since it doesn’t even bother with damage numbers.
Only if you’re using the crafting table, where it can draw from your bank directly. . For any mystic forge recipe, which requires you to be able to move it into inventory, you have to use the soulbound character.
Although there aren’t many recipes I can think of that use soulbound items directly. Legendary crafting requires you to salvage them for essence, except in the case of gen 2.5, where the previous items aren’t even used to create the next tier items.
The HoT guild weapons and corrupted set can potentially require something bound to another character.
I don’t have any character with the right states to test but in theory hovering over the the legend with the map open should be able to tell you which you are missing for map completion regardless of what it is showing for daily completion.
Of course that’s true. My point is that it’s hard to see the icons on the map to hover over them. The already-done ones stand out better than the not-done ones; I’d prefer it to be the other way around.
You hover over the icon in the top left corner not the individual ones on the map.
Hey guys,
I met up with Irenio, who was heading into my area of the building to talk to me about this very bug. As it turns out, it’s quite a complicated issue and that’s why it took a while to address. But… it has been addressed, yaaay! The fix for this issue should be going out very soon, perhaps before the end of the week.
Naturally, for something this complicated, there are a lot of “layers to the onion” in getting it resolved, but it is very much in the devs’ minds, and help is on the way for our beloved, but lazy-seeming, pets!
Onion layers are pretty simple. I think the phrase you want is “a barrel of spaghetti” or “a vat of spaghetti” :P
That looks like a typical ping issue which is separate from the “Siren’s Landing lag bug” which causes everything to lag even when the ping is fine.
I don’t have any character with the right states to test but in theory hovering over the the legend with the map open should be able to tell you which you are missing for map completion regardless of what it is showing for daily completion.
Not sure why they thought it was necessary to shrink the size of the text when there is still so much empty space.
They are for different things. Leaving out either is just omitting skill information.
Does “Ammunition” count for all #1 skills or just projectile? Seems silly to limit a ranged weapon but not worry about “fatigue” on a melee weapon…
Its only applied to certain skills that need the ability to be used in quick succession, but still limit its spam potential. The majority of skills that got ammo were ones that suffered from odd pacing due to single use cool down, but would OP as a hell if the Cool down was too short.
Distracting Daggers probably had one of the most annoying cases of that. First you had to use a 1s cast time skill then you can use the skill. For something that is meant to be an interrupt that is very clunky. Luckily this change fixed that.
The patch seems to have made this worse. Did the bandaid get removed? Did 3 cycles of shrine events so that is at least 1.5 hours of the instance staying alive.
You probably need to unlock the Mystic Claymore skin for it to count so just crafting isn’t enough.
I think the only thing they changed was the ascended materials used. I think they used to all use bloodstone dust?
Like all other? Well of Power says hi.
Bug Fix:
Fixed a bug that was granting incorrect map-completion rewards.Well I’m glad that’s working now, granted class abilities are still bugges but at least map completion is working :S
It was giving stuff to people it shouldn’t have.
… that is really not worth it just to remove the backpack
The 10 recipe generates 10 or 25 not to. Same goes for the 1 recipe, it generates 1 or 5
I have misinterpreted the “10 – 25” the wiki shows. So has anyone ever got 25? I wonder how rarely this occurs then. I’m sure I would reach the number of gemstones I need before I ever see those 25. Not going to craft 100 times to see if it happens once, don’t even have the gold for that.
Twice in my recent forging. That is from somewhere between 5 and 10 tries.
If you ignore the rare outcomes the 10 recipe is also cheaper than the 1 recipe.
9 orbs + .55 ecto for the 1 recipe when ignoring the rare outcome
8.33 orbs + .5 ecto for the 10 recipe when ignoring the rare outcome
During the last fight in the instance if you grab the chancel for the Siren of Orr mastery it will interfere with the ability to use Counter Magic. Even though the Counter Magic icon will show up in the Special Action slot activating does behave as expected. Normally when using Counter Magic it will remove all the conditions that was applied but if you have the chancel it will not do that. Once the Dirge is used Counter Magic goes back to working normally.
