I’m not sure what you are trying to do exactly. Making yourself more tanky won’t help your teammates. Either you use defensive skills that help them, or you go the healing route.

Perma-protection is a big help, and you can get it from hammer guardian, druid with Stone Spirit + trait, or the Minster chrono build.

As a dragonhunter, you can do things like pop F3 and carry the whole boss fight if the group dps is high enough, but it doesn’t seem like that’s what you are after. I think you would get better results playing a standard healer druid.

Thanks for responding!

First let me clarify that no I’m not trying to go all tanky. I’m trying to be supportive. To me that sounds like heals & protection. I mentioned zealots gear because it has power, precision and healing which may be helpful say if running heal on shouts. That was the rough draft of my thoughts.

I was not aware of the protection up time on hammer. I will research that further.

What would you suggest for a build if I might ask? I thought vanilla guard would be the better option but you mention dragon hunter so was hoping you could provide some direction on what to take on that trait line.

Sorry if I’m confusing. It’s sorta a rough draft in my mind. Was hoping people more experienced on Guardian would have some insight.

Thanks again for your help!!!

Frankly, you dont need to switch your gear to carry new players. Just switch skills and traits. For example, in higher levels using reflections/projectile blocks at raving asura is not necessary but if you know your party members aren’t experienced, you can switch to wall of reflection and spirit shield. Run shouts with pure of voice in condi heavy encounters and if you feel like they are getting downed often, you can even run signet of mercy for that extra pampering. Also, if you are familiar with the content, well timed F3 or “retreat” aegis can save your friends from getting one-shotted.
Changing to full healer on guardian wont help you carry them as dealing damage and ending the encounter faster is often the most effecient way to help your teammates.

I agree yet disagree with you there. I can use some different skills/traits to help. But I think they will learn more if I am keeping them up so they can learn the mechanics first hand. I would run my main (mesmer) if I wanted to quickly end the encounter. But I think if I’m instructing and prodding them through the mechanics themselves then they will learn faster and become more efficient themselves.

Now I’m not saying “full healer” build. But a mix with some zealots or something similar I feel would be beneficial to my purpose.

Thanks for the response!

Magical Things.8465

Hello,

In my guild I have newer players who are brand new to dungeons and fractals that I do training runs with. However with them being new to the game their survivability isn’t at meta build players level. So I was thinking of running a guardian support build to, for lack of better words, carry them a little as they learn the mechanics.

Please no get good responses. They will get there in time. I’m just thinking of the immediate.

I saw a draft build posted on metabattle but I’m not too sure of it. It seems way too tanky for PvE. So mostly I’m looking for any must haves and best gearing options so I’m not aggro’ing everything from 3 maps over if you know what I mean.

I appreciate any and all help and guidance.

I run such a mix using S/F regulary in an 2-3 man group.
Gear is a mix of Viper (mainly) and some rabid, wanderer, celestial pieces.

Here the durability version i think i will use again after getting the second ring from PvP rewards. Currently i try antitoxin rune combined with sweet bean bun and have the small armor pieces in rabid and then trait geomancers training which gives 20% + 24% + 33% resistance to criple/chill/imob.

The build is fine solo and in a team. I might use FSG as elite in solo roaming.
Food can be as needed. Classic pizza is fine.

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vFAQJArdnUMA9XiVYCOOAcYilPArIMOBfBuv166fd4AEAegA-TFCGQBG7BAIFlY6T9HAcCA0jSQ1pHAd7PgQlHBAQA2ZdGArX9qX9qX9cdduzduzdGA-w

Precision looks low but you gain fury with each swap. The build is a boon build with a lot of might stacking and the nice thing is the ele playstyle feeling.
Invigorationg torrets is something i don´t need in this build having regen from multiple sources annyway.
Warriors and some Necros are usually very hard and i can´t handle condi mesmers very long due to lack of constant cleanses. On the other side i can handle thiefs very well and they are the most common class in WvW. Most power builds tend to perish against me.
I don´t care about zerging … But i have a wanderer staff in my backpack if needed.

Greetings

Wolf

Hey Wolf!

Thanks as always for your advice. One question. Did you link the correct build? I ask because you mention antitoxic runes & rabid/wanderer pieces. But the build linked has trailblazers and durability runes.

Just wanted to double check. Thanks as always for your assistance!

Support Ele: Power or Condi

I had this discussion with a veteran Ele friend of mine the other day.
Seraph’s gear is fun-looking but hard to utilise fully, and not actually that good for an Ele.
If they’re gonna be healing, they need some bulk (pref. vitality due to low health pool) is why Apothecary/Magi is better. With Shaman, you can do something like 3-4k dps per second while giving out CONSISTENTLY GREAT heals and amazing support via auras and protection/vigor sharing.

Seraphs is sufficable for a Druid/Engi (if people let you bloody play it) and a couple others prolly like a Revenant hybrid perhappps, but it falls a little short on ele.
Also, to make Seraphs do ANY damage, you neeeeeed the condition duration in your runes/sigils and food. It’s mandatory.

I agree with most of what you say, however, Shaman is quite useless in general. If you wish to support as an elementalist you only have 3 options, which are Magi, Apothecary and Clerics. The reason for that is that you want to maximise your healing output, so healing power needs to be the gear main stat.
Apo is best for fractals with dagger warhorn, and Magi is best for raids with also, either dagger warhorn or staff.

For fractals wouldn’t Apothecary and Clerics give you too much toughness?

Also for healing wouldn’t Zealot’s be the better choice for fractals? Power/Precision/Healing power. While it won’t pack the punch full zerk does it seems like the most logical option to support and actually do some damage.

You could go damage and support them with aura sharing? Personally I don’t think sc/x is that good unless you go full damage

Yeah I couldn’t think of anything supportive for scepter/x either. Was hoping someone smarter than me had some ideas LOL

But yes can do a little more aggressive geared auramancer.

I’m a big fan of scepter and wanted to see if anyone was running a mix of support & dps type build?

This is for 3-5 man havok. My thoughts is a mix of damage while providing some support to team mates.

Anyone running something similar or have some good ideas?

I appreciate any guidance and tips!

Whats helly said.

I use a power build of my own that i found it helps in outnumbered fights specially with durability runes wich i use in my first video.

In this one i use strenght runes for more ofensive. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/external?l=https%3A%2F%2Fyoutu.be%2FfEQekbVU2u4

Hellys build is more rewarding catching large groups distracted. He can easily take 5 downs ina few seconds.

Thanks for sharing! Good fights in the video! One question….how does the build hold up against condi? I see the trait where minions take 1 condition but was curious if that was the only condi clear?

I’ll watch your other video too. Both of you are very skilled on necro and I need to practice and learn some tricks lol.

Thank you so much for the advice!!!

Necromancer while solo roaming isn’t always a pleasant experience no matter what build you run. Every necro build will rely on team support to some degree, though once you get good at positioning you don’t require it so much.

If you are only looking for a build that is strong while solo/small group roaming, this would probably be close to the best Build 1

You can always run an alternate variant such as this one, Build 1 Shouts

Those are probably the strongest condi builds out there currently for necro. Additionally you can go with a more dps variant of those such as; Build 1 DPS/Shouts

I personally dislike those builds and run my own variant of them (though I acknowledge that the above builds are definitely stronger). Mainly I use Vipers/Carrion gear so I have more of a hybrid damage source.

Here are my three main builds I use;

Builds:
GS Standard: https://goo.gl/mfHAUw
Axe Standard: https://goo.gl/NvZbzz
Signet: https://goo.gl/0TpLlu

I will also toss in a shameless plug to my Youtube since it largely exclusively features necro solo/small group roaming. Youtube

Thank you so much for your guidance!

I actually like the idea of a hybrid damage source instead of strictly condi. I will def ponder these builds and play around to see what best suits me.

Thanks for the YouTube link. It’s always great to see a good player in action! I will admit I did laugh a little on the first video where an entire zerg came and mowed you over LOL. I’ve had that happen countless times. I’ll log on to YouTube and follow.

I so appreciate your guidance! Thank you for sharing!

Hello,

I’m looking at gearing my reaper in condi gear for solo/very small group roaming.

On metabattle I found:

https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Reaper_-_Chillormancer_Roamer

The other ones look like they are reliant on group support. I’m looking for something that can stand on it’s own to some degree.

Is this build the current best roaming option? Or do you know of something better?

I appreciate any and all advice.

Thanks!!!

WvW Front Line Sustain Build???

If you don’t feel comfortable with the armor, you can always take soldier rings. I have 2.8k armor/22.6k health and feel plenty tanky even without Retribution. If you’re in a group that can provide you offensive boons and swiftness, you can also opt for Dwarf over Dragon.

Since you’re going for damage, take Swift Termination. You have like 2 1/2 CC moves in the whole build and the chances that taking off an extra stack of stability is going to matter is probably nil. Not to mention you have to save your juice for resistance.

Thank you! I think your the only one who understood my post.

The build I posted is directly from Metabattle where it’s rated as meta for front line sustain. Why is the build ranked as “meta” if the gear should actually be different?

Just trying to understand here. I think 2 soldier stat earrings are not enough toughness considering the rest is pretty much glass except for vitality. But the build is rated as part of the meta so………..

You mentioned “resistance spamming” on your first post. Pain Absorption already costs too much energy and has short duration leaving you no space to use hammer’s damagin skills so the power-precision-ferocity on the gear doesnt rly help. Hammer dmg-dealer is one thing (and doesnt even need to be front line , hammer has good range) and frontline-sustain-supporter is another.

https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Herald_-_Frontline_Sustain

Read under usage.

Here is a clip:

“Mallyx (Legendary Demon Stance)

Use Pain Absorption Pain Absorption to absorb conditions from your team and give resistance.

Keep an eye on your parties conditions using Party View as opposed to Squad View. Save your energy until allies have conditions that need removal, rather than casting preemptively.

Pain Absorption Pain Absorption breaks stuns and pays the energy cost at the start of the cast but only gives Resistance Resistance and pulls conditions at the end of the cast. Be careful to avoid interrupts.

Banish Enchantment Banish Enchantment hits up to five targets in a line, try to save it to remove critical boons such as Stability Stability and Resistance Resistance.

Increase the healing of Empowering Misery Empowering Misery by first using Pain Absorption Pain Absorption to pull conditions to yourself."

Once again that is from the Metabattle Front Line Sustain build rated 98 of 100 and updated 37 days ago.

If your going to reply please make sure it’s an informed response and not out pulled out of your hat. Your not helping when your explanation is tota

Now the question is who’s right and who’s wrong?

https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Herald_-_Hammer_Backline

Is the back line hammer build I believe your mentioning. 2 different roles….2 different builds.

I asked for and quoted a front line build.

Playing a FL full minstrel, full melee healbot rev atm; Ventari + Mallyx.

Works well in an ORGANISED guild group setting where you have RELIABLE guards for stab… if you were trying to play this pugging… you’re probably gonna get boon stripped, condi bombed and CC chained to death unless you’re on point with positioning/know your limits. In small scale this build can shine unless you get hard focused/locked down.

Not that I’ve ever been fond of using the rev section on Metabattle let alone copy paste – I prefer to make my own builds, but that mara’s looks risky… when I first started out with my intention of being resist-spam bot I was running full wanderer’s (basically oldschool PVT but with boon duration) and even then getting spiked hurts a lot, couldn’t imagine what the scenario had been if I were clad in mara’s… probably dead in seconds.

Those comments were made practically a year ago… I doubt the build is out dated but I’m inclined to believe it works best in an organised setting where you’ve got people covering you for stab and heals.

I still have my rev with full wanderer’s on it, can’t remember the dmg output but I was okay with solid 3k+ hits – the purpose wasn’t dmg but it helped. I much prefer playing healbot rev – that ventari alacrity on siege is not to be underestimated either.

If you’re looking to gear yourself for boon sharing and resistance spam then I’d recommend the full wanderer’s approach. At least then you can take a few hits and still deal dmg.

If you have any questions feel free to let me know.

Thanks but not the play style I’m looking for. I don’t like full support roles and not what I was looking for.

Thanks for the advice on the gearing!

boon sharing = +concentration
frontline = +vitality +toughness

so I dont rly see any room left for power-precision-ferocity to make you effective at frontline cleaving. You can just go for Minstrel’s stats(healing, toughness, vitality, concen) and play Mallyx stance for resistance sharing and switch to ventari stance when needed for healing support.

Also there is a build posted that does exactly what you say. I’m wanting a front line sustain build which is what I posted from Metabattle.

Hi Gang,

Looking at gearing my rev for WvW front line for boon sharing and resistance spam. I followed Metabattle’s guide but the toughness seems a little low for a front line build.

Ofc. one of the reasons why it’s usefull. A tip then. You can use the f skill to reveal the enemies then quickly swap to motar kit. That way you can use it as an opener while still using mortar kitin the fight, If that’s what you want

Thank you for that tip. One final question if I may. For roaming would I run the same except for more offensive gear? Just trying to cover all my basis as I roam some and also run with a larger group 3-4 nights a week. I appreciate your help! Not sure if I’m the most effective but def having fun with engie.

An old WvW vet engi here. I would say you are getting there. But a few things are missing in your build. for a frontline build. As much as I like bombs they are still really hard to land properly so I would take E-gun instead. Very nice support/condi cleanse 25 condis cleansed in 2 sec+ stunbreak something u need in WvW.

Taking elixir S it’s a valid choice it’s also used on meta battles build. But I also really like the tool kit, 2 sec block on a 13 sec cd, plus a long range pull. Deadly for an ele/necro. Plus a nice cleave with the f skill Is something I really like.

And your elite again valid, but if it’s in a larger teamfight I would prefer the nice amount of fields that Mortar kit provides, Chill, Poison for downed, Aoe blinds, Water field. And it gives u some ranged cleave.

As for traits. The explosive line in a tanky/frontline build is useless. And since u wont need bomb go for Tools instead, much more usefull. Reduced cd on f skills(more waterfield, and reflects) 50% more endurance. reduced cd on toolkit.

Then go Aclhemy line. The 2% reduced dmg taken pr boon from Iron blooded gives you around 8-12% dmg reduction and absolute beast trait. Plus extra condi cleanse on elixir skills from E- gun skill5 and mortar skill 5. And 20% boon duration. Is just too good to pass up. AS well as a free elixir S if you get in real trouble. PLus more protection if stunned.

Gear: I try to keep a general rule saying. As much power/crit/crit dmg as possible while still having just under 3k armor. And some decent health is what a frontline should have. As an engi you can go a bit lower since u have so many skills. But it all depends on your skill lvl.

And here’s a link to what I would typically run for a large scale fight. http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vdAQFASncoCFpitbBmcB0ehlKjievr78ecDigGQcZCgyD-T1CBAB8v/wGXAgKVXxLlGWqSwZKBxSJWXKDyTHQmqQAwDAIAACwNvZAApAKSZE-w
But let me warn ya engi in WvW aint no picnic. And you will be destroyed if you are not carefull.

Thanks for the helpful info. Just to clarify I took the elite for the reveal not the individual stealth.

I had an idea for a build used in group WvW play. Basically a semi-front line bomb build. Not sure how viable this is but wanted to post to see if anyone would have any feedback on this concept.

Here is the shell of the build so far:

Any guidance on traits is appreciated.

One thing I’m stuck on is gearing. I’m unsure if I should go power or condi. From what I saw even full Trailblazers isn’t going to greatly impact damage. Sure it helps in some areas but I don’t think the benefit justifies the cost.

I appreciate any and all constructive comments.

If you’re talking about frontline sustain, I’m gonna suppose you’re talking about WvW, right?
So…

Sword/Axe is worse than Staff when playing frontline in zergs. Of course, it has more damage, but you’re missing a block, a heal, a blast, a condi clear, a non-targeted fake leap and a evade. All of them way more important to frontlining than the extra damage from sword. You can have your damage and AoE CC from your hammer instead.

About legend choices. Glint is 100% fine, but Dwarf will give you much more on a organized group. I’d go Jarlis/Mallyx.

About traits. On herald, running Radiant Revival is much more important than Hardening Persistance, because people will eventually go down and rev is a good resser. And also Enhanced Bulwark is better than Elder’s Force when playing frontline, even more when your damage sucks (I’ll get there).

Devastation can be good if you’re glassier, what is not the case. Invocation will give you as much damage (Roiling Mists, Equilibrium, Ferocious Aggression) while also giving you utility like a heal and a stunbreak.

Corruption is just a waste, IMO. You’re wasting the minor traits condi-focused while you also don’t need Demonic Defiance to keep your resistance uptime. Durability runes, herald and boon duration food are enough. Also, running Manical Persistance for the crit chance instead of running Invocation with Roiling Mists is just a terrible choice. Just go Invocation instead of Corruption and make a decision if you wanna run Retribution or Devastation, if you’re playing more pirateshippy or not.

About the stats, this is a mess. 18% crit chance, 3k armor, you REALLY don’t need it as a rev. What I understood from this build is that the person build the stats tankier and tried to get damage from the traits, when the opposite is WAY more effective. Go marauders with zerker, pick Mallyx/Dwarf, pick Invocation/Retribution/Herald, get a staff (aka the meta build) and if you play smart, you’ll have both more damage and a better survivability.

Also, get Mussels Gnashblade as a food. It’s straight up OP. This is my two cents, I hope it’s helpful.

Thank you so much! I agree with everything you’ve said I just couldn’t word it nearly as good as you. I run more of what you described myself down to the mussels gnashblade. I’m trying to convince the guild of switching to it but that’s an uphill battle.

Thank you again for your input!

Here is the build:
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vlAQNAsXin3geNSuQvJRboHlsP0kS4I6SJ4EtrkFNFKdDj4EtDIAPwugJshA-TFDEQBvRPwTUGAgjIwiU/xJKxcnmgH8IAkiShookwAnAgNqEEe7PEAAB4mtZbezADdoDdoDdoVoDdoDdolBoYMA-w

This is supposedly a front line sustain build.

My biggest gripe is running the Corruption line. His reasoning is the additional resistance from the trait “Demonic Defiance”. I haven’t seen where that would be necessary. Also does it really add another 2 1/2 sec of resistance to the 2 1/2 sec of resistance?

IMO Retribution would be better.

Can anyone help me give some constructive criticisms and guidance that wouldn’t be flat out rude. I’m a bit of a bluntly direct person so my own wording would be abrasive.

I appreciate any and all assistance

This build is propably the strongest support troll in the game :-). I agree durability is a good one. I run it in WvW. but don´t get bored, the damage it does is very low. Maybe pick cheaper utility like precision oil or sharpening stone.

Do you feel durability is stronger than trooper runes? With the traits not cleansing on water attunement I would think trooper runes more valuable in that case. Durability if traited to cleans on water attunment. Or do you feel differently?

With my 10 -15 man. The Ele’s job isn’t condi cleanse that’s our guardians job. The Ele’s job is mostly water fields heals and perma prot.

That’s really dependent on your group’s comp is organized. Sure you could have guardians running shouts with trooper runes or rev’s spamming resistance. But it’s really not a one size fits all situation. But I do understand your point. However my original post specified condi clearing which is why I was asking for clarification. I think probably the perfect scenario would be 2 armor sets. 1 with durability and 1 with trooper.

just reading. How are minstrel trinkets easy ?

I think he may mean easier then some of the other stat combinations. Looks like for exotic recipe’s you need air ship parts or use proof of heroics. That’s not too bad. But ascended trinkets look difficult. Unless I’m mistaken, for rings and accessories those are only available from the PvE raid. Which I have no desire to run. So I may have to live with exotic on those.

This build is kinda called the GF Ele (or atleast that’s what we call it)
I much prefer Durability runes over trooper but since you want condi clears.
If you cant afford minstrels gear and weapons switch those our for Nomads but minstrels Trinkets should be very easy to get.
The playstyle from back line ele isn’t much different. Instead of positioning your self to take least dmg and maximize dmg. You have to position yourself in ways that you can stick close to tag and still move and target low health allies to heal them

Thank you for this!!!!!!!

You don’t need boon duration. What you should be doing is overloading earth on pushes for protection and using shouts for more protection. Id focus on healing power instead of boon duration since your revs will help w that. If you dont run revs in pt you got bigger problems.

Just a question……wouldn’t increased boon duration increase the duration of protection and regen? Or does that increased boon duration only apply to self? I’m just wondering is all.

I appreciate your assistance!

Hello,

This is for WvW 10-15 man group.

I’m hoping some of you experts can assist me with a build. I’m trying to maximize protection up time and condi clears with this build. More of a supportive in nature.

I’m assuming earth, water and tempest for the trait lines. I believe I need to maximize boon duration for protection up time?

Dagger/Warhorn was the weapons I was planning on using.

If someone with much more knowledge of how this should be put together, I would greatly appreciate it. I’m so used to playing glass back line that I’m confused on where to begin.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!!!

Magical Things.8465

Hello,

I’m a little unsure of what I should run on my thief to be primarily used for scouting. Also capable of 1v1 if need be. Mobility is important.

Wasn’t sure if I should take the stealth route or acrobatics and such. Any ideas?

I have daredevil unlocked if it matters.

NA server for WvW

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey there,

I’ve recently decided I want to get back into GW2, mainly because it has a healthy player base and is still one of the top MMO’s available on the market. TBH i’ve never really given GW2 a decent chance and would love to dedicate some actual time to playing it. I’m a semi-experienced player in GW2 but I don’t have the Heart Of Thorns expansion.

I’m wondering if you need another member for your Guild and wouldn’t mind someone joining up who currently doesn’t have the expansion? I will definitely be purchasing HoT in the future since I’m going to be actively playing GW2 as my go to MMO.

Sent in-game mail and guild invite!

WvW - Condi Bomb Mesmer?

in Mesmer

Posted by: Magical Things.8465

Magical Things.8465

Tl;Dr: There is no Mesmer condie bomb build for group play. It simply does not and cannot exist. If someone says otherwise, they’re either in a tier where ‘group play’ means <10 people or they simply don’t realize how bad their build is.

Explanation

Mesmer has fairly limited ways to apply conditions, so this will be pretty quick. First lets look at weapons.

  • Staff
    • Slow auto with weak conditions and awkward bounce mechanic
    • Chaos armor (heh)
    • Chaos storm applying mostly non-damaging conditions or cc to a low number of targets in a small area on a long cooldown
  • Scepter
    • Slow and completely single target auto that applies weak conditions
    • Block/counter applying a strong stack of torment, but purely single target
    • Beam aoe applying 6 confusion
  • Torch
    • PbAoe burning explosion, long cooldown
  • Sword
    • Nope
  • Greatsword
    • Nope
  • Focus
    • Nope
  • Pistol
    • Nope
  • Shield
    • Nope

Well that’s depressing. We have literally 3 skills capable of applying aoe conditions. 1 doesn’t apply anything worth mentioning (chaos storm), 1 is pbaoe and on a long cooldown (the prestige), and one is an incredibly clunky beam aoe (confusing images). Not much in the way of group play here.

Well, how about utilities? Do we have utilities that apply conditions?

Nope.

Ok, that was pretty quick. How about traits and shatters? Surely we can get good aoe conditions from those!

Sorta. The problem is that shatters are inherently linked to having illusions. You can do a powerful condition bomb by setting up your shatters properly, but that only works if you have illusions to do it with. In WvW group play, the average lifespan of your illusions is about .25 seconds. Any shattering you do is absolutely limited to the personal shatter effect to produce; extremely underwhelming.

So there you have it. Mesmer is literally incapable of producing anything even remotely capable of being called a ‘condie bomb’ for group play in WvW.

Edit: I suppose I should probably mention distrust. Distrust is a trait that applies aoe stacks of confusion on interrupt. What you can do is take that trait and a bunch of cc and randomly throw it into groups. Once in a blue moon you’ll get some interrupts and cause a bit of a ‘condie bomb’. 99% of the time you’ll just see a bunch of blocks and immune floaters.

Thank you so much for the explanation. Might I ask what you would recommend running in group WvW? Especially now that boon share is nerfed. Thank you for your help!

Boonshare with added goodies.

Boonshare still works fine, you just need a different group comp than what was possible before. We do 2 guards, a rev, an ele, and a Mesmer. With that comp we still keep 100% uptime on quickness, regen, vigor, protection, might, fury, etc. It’s not possible to effectively do 100% uptime on resistance, but you can burst it up for 10-12 seconds.

I also take a midnight and heal signets, then trait for distortion. Well-timed distortion shares are invaluable to a frontline, but it’s only 1 second at a time, so you really have to be aware of the fight to do it properly.

How would you gear for that? The updated metabattle is overkill on the boon duration. I’m assuming with a rev in party 67% boon duration is the max you want considering natural res. is 33% boon duration.

So in regards to the distortion and signets….are you taking Domination over Insp?
