2) New Achievements / New Jumping Puzzles (not super difficult ones)
3) More Personal Storyline / Permanent Content

don’t get me wrong I enjoyed playing the content, just was sad, disappointing, frustrated, annoyed and angry all at the same time that it had to crash for no reason, if it crashed to an error or stated the error code i could diagnose it and find a solution, and then been super keen to get back into the game and continue to try and get back up to where i left off. but since there was no report, no dump.txt literally nothing.. I lost the motivation to continue forward, as whats to say it won’t happen again. I guess looking at it now that I’ve calmed down, its free LS so i guess we have to enjoy the bugs that come with it, like who is going to fix LS for free these days..
I know how your feeling, I have no idea about the story or what was going on, but figured if i pursued and beat the final boss all would be clear. but i think i forgot to “knock on wood” as the team i was in was just about to beat scarlet and then I, crashed for no reason, no error, nothing. i guess that’s what we all get since it was free content not paid content.
I crash once every (10 minutes of play or after 4 hours of play, seems to be random) and it crashes to the desktop with no error summation box or txt being created. no error code either. Rare occurrence, can’t find anything anywhere about it. so i dunno what the issue is. maybe its because i don’t have a $50k PC.
Anet, why of all things when i crashed to desktop by some rare crash right when scarlet was on %2 roughly health, when i re-log, thinking i be where i left off, I’m battling scarlet all by myself and she is now on full health. I serious hate, that’s right hate LS as once you get to the final challenge, it crashes with no error code all because of some rare odd occurrence, can’t find anything about that issue – bug/crash. I’m unable to continue with this LS content, well i could if i wanted to waste another hour of my life getting back up-to the same spot, maybe to have the same issue happen again. Can’t wait until this #@$! is over. that’s my thoughts on this months LS!
I give it a 4. Prefer a real expansion as the LS content doesn’t expand upon my personal story and after the events of the main storyline, it feels like to me, that everyone has sat around doing random LS content that doesn’t have any real back story as to whats going on. I don’t even know why i had to fight Scarlet.
Arena-net please add something for late players playing the LS content that reflects upon what is happening to the world and why. I don’t want to spawn in and see LA destroyed cos Scarlet (enemy) is attacking it for some unknown reason, and for another unknown reason I have to kill Scarlet. Out of all the NPC’s i spoke to not one could give me any back story. for all i know LA could be evil and scarlet was good trying to stop LA from conquering the world.
i don’t like temporary content, I’m very casual player, maybe play once or 2 times a week, i very rarely play the temporary content because i never get time to complete the achievements or be there on the last day to the finish the end content stuff. if it was solid content id be able to accomplish it better in the time i can allocate to playing the game. that’s is one reason why i stopped playing gw2, as there is no point playing something that’s gone in a few days or within a week.
I just want to more underwater exploration, to swim down into really dark places and see what things have been lost under the oceans, but they have neglected the underwater exploration and under water areas, by keeping them in shallow waterholes, rivers and ponds which inst much fun at all. make an expansion that covers more under water action, test player on there underwater survivability. i also want to get better scuba mask.
@Valkyriez.6578 well if they made the game work i wouldn’t have this issue. I don’t understand why every other game runs flawlessly even bf3 yet pvp gw2 just drops connection, though i am Australian. maybe that’s the problem.
they are pointless clones of art and they all look the same depending on the class-type your hunting for, I felt good when i got one but then I felt unsatisfied when i seen another 8 or 9 other people with the same legendary item as me, how can a legendary item be so legendary when there is so many of the same type. give it six months and most of the guild-wars 2 community will have a legendary clone.. you can buy them on trading house for a thousand gold.
I put a bet down of 5 cents that its going to be new items in the mall. other updates can wait till everyone is grovelling on there knees begging for those improvements.
I like underwater combat and exploration, I hope the unending ocean is dark scary place to swim in. i like surprises even if it means death by big fishy mouth.
yeah it doesn’t work, tried a 1000 times, even messaged support, after awhile you get a support message telling you to verify everything in regards to your guild-wars 1 and 2 account. it’s a horrible circle you face ahead to get it to work, so have patients, which i lost. after getting my third support ticket to verify again from some other support staff person working at arenanet.
well unlike most when i get into a game and too much stuff is going on i get booted due to lag, does this mean i’ll get banned? if so I’ll shoot someone literally.
yeah it feels like a grind for time to get the pvp dailies done. I thought gw2 was against player grinding as advertised in many dev chats of youtube, oh well maybe they changed there mind.
its was annoying, but its easy after you do it. you goto kill some turrets and then use control panel and my greatest mistake i kept exiting the convo window, but you wait and then it gives response i can’t remember the correct sayings you could youtube it. then you use the panels over to the right when the portal open up and adjust the coords to a specific set of numbers and go through portal. or just wait till someone else solves it and relays the coords back to computer.
Yeah I really want to explore the unending ocean black depths.. like in everblue. but that wont happen. but be nice to see some fast paced jumping puzzle with short-cuts for me if i get frustrated.

Like take an underwater propulsion scooter and quickly drive through a few areas with krait, sharks and obstacles to an asura ring which teleport you over large dangers to another place in the ocean. Aim is to return some lost tech before the inquest catch you on there scooters. (like that star-wars racer game, only different and in guild-wars 2)

I like mad queen’s post, add shortcuts. I’m struggling on the sun-south cove skipping stone puzzle. actually I do like most of the jumping puzzles its just they are frustrating at times, especially when i lag on a jump. Be nice to see “race-jumping puzzles” jump through and beat the clock by jumping over blockades before a big Indianan Jones boulder squashes you! or quickly jump to your survival for fresh air or be consumed in some green stinky gas from that big fractal robots backside.
@ MaXi.3642 The devs would not have to recreate all of the original guildwars 1 mechanics or content inside guildwars 2, they would only need to fashion a few maps or dungeons in fractal that reflected upon guildwars 1’s greatest moments. Such as show a re-cap, ( back-end story ) of how certain NPC characters or events changed tyria and also how tyria came to be how it is now in guildwars 2.
A friend of mine seen gwen’s grave and did not think much about the character’s name on the stone as he had not experienced gwen NPC in guildwars 1. so i think it be great to have a few fractals or even maybe use the hall of monuments scrying pool to enter moments of the past with friends (maybe even a mini-story with achievements that covers the white mantle w/prince rurik, mussat, lich lord, then move the mini story over to shinro and abbadon and finally the destroyer king) a re-cap so to speak of guildwars history using the current guildwars 2 mechanics. It would help alot of new people including my friend who do not want to buy and play guildwars 1 as they are having so much fun with guildwars 2. It would help them understand the greatness that I and so many others have enjoyed from the beginning of guildwars 1. I hope that makes sense.
at least food would be nice to use on quick-slot instead of opening up inventory every time to click one, especially if you need to use one while in battle, no more than 4 slots maximum.
Kinda like a re-live of the past events of tyria inside the fractal dungeon. At least it would allow new ppl to experience the moments of guildwars 1 and its great moments and gain understanding about the game past events that brought forth guildwars 2 if they don’t own the original.
what if its a dungeon, but takes on aspects like those awesome bosses in living story. like each fight is a meaning ful challenge as you battle your way through vietrans, champions and bosses etc.. while knocking out achievements, and earning special currency to buy skins and other fancy items. though there shouldn’t be heaps of people as it would be too much like WvW or PvP tournament. you could match some battles with other player teams connecting and some with npc monsters, have a mixture. that could be seen as random challenge every-time you play.
It be nice to have a optional rainbow-road to the end for the first time (no chest spawn) for those who do not like jumping puzzles but want to complete the achievement. to get chest and goodies must do it without the aid of the rain-bow road.
random PvP as in everyone has random skillset of skills. I hate my class its nerfed and considered as abandon in guildwars 2 by so many. but it would be nice to play a class that has random skills that change per match, like devs did in guildwars 1 pvp, i think been so long since i played it.
sniping, man the engineer is starting to sound like an army dude, while were at it lets give engineer a tank. though if you want a serious response, id like the mortar cannon to have longer range.
