Mad? Na, its hilarious. Wars are guards are a joke to me in most cases. Just funny to see everyone with that tag a heavy =p Im solo, so i just troll, kill the yaks and troll some more. Oh, and those wars and guards need more hammers too.

I think VNG guild from BP needs to roll more warriors and guardians.

As a S/S LB condi warrior:

1- Great thieves that use alot of blinds + poison are a rough encounter.
2- Condi necros that transfer my own conditions to me with scepter + fear traits.
3-Plex Condi Engis are a very hard fight.
4- Heavy shatter mesmers, staff s/t can be problematic about 50/50. If i land pin down i win.
5- Everyone else is pretty much an easier kill.

Also, the new runes of anti toxin are very good for this build.

Dire trinkets that have a small prec, Rabid Armor, Dire weapons. Healing is not effective for the point expenditure for wars signet or adrenal healing.

Duels would be pointless unless Anet finds a way to balance each and every class, as it is right now some classes can faceroll others, so where is the fun ?

The fun is trying out new things and strats against classes especially fotm classes/specs. Don’t know how to fight a hammer warrior well? Have your pal duel you until you figure it out. It’s not like you really win anything its to make players better without having to go to custom arenas or hide out by a windmill and hope a zerg doesnt come mess it up.

And why not? It’s not like you HAVE to duel if someone challenges you. Just run off or something or toggle the dueling off.

Haha, listen it isnt that you guys have numbers, its that if we actually to catch you guys (in my experience) with equals or 1v1, even 2v3 or w/e they just run. They dont even TRY to fight just beeline to the nearest tower, zerg, etc. To make it worse the inevitable zerg will roll through and then #emotespam if they happen to catch you. You like to spam 111111 in a zerg? Ok play as you want but dont be a kitten about it if you happen to blob over 3 guys. Its bad sportsmanship, its cowardice, and its rude. So yea, im going to say something about it.

In previous MMOs there was a function to duel faction members and friends by simply typing /duel. It was fun, a great way to test your skill 1v1 and try new set ups easily. I know there is custom arenas, however the gear sets are so limited and honestly alot of ppl just cant be bothered to join spvp. I mean it cant be hard to just put this in the game. Anet, let’s go! Get friendly duels in the world please, i know myself and a ton of others would love this.

Looking for small fighting, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3s ( near impossibru ikno) hmu ingame or if you see me in the world /wave and we can duel.

Warrior by far is the most useless class in almost any scenario.

This week has been pretty annoying overall in regards to good fights for me soloing/duo’ing, its been awhile since ive seen the massive amounts that a higher tier server can bring. That being said, last evening i had about an hour long stretch of 3v1s, 2v1s, and some entertaining duels from both the other servers. I’ll be out again around 10pm pst in FABL/YBBL south camp/vet area if you want to 1v1 just /wave or /bow and we can hash it out.

PS- To that condi ranger that laughed as i bailed from 5+.. sucks when caught alone huh?

Shout out to NA and ORB!….Only guys to stop and fight me as I was running solo yesterday just before primetime. The rest just tried to zerg me or ran b/c they weren’t in a zerg. Seems like most of the fights I got into were interrupted by those rude zergs, but hey, it keeps you on your toes always watching your back for 50 people trying to role one person. I’m not mad at the zerg…they see red and it’s dead…I respect that.

The fight I most remember from yesterday I believe was with an ORB engi. I had a good fight with you in the ruins (some pesky thief interrupted us too) and again just north of the NE camp below the centaurs. Good show bro! Keep it up.

Funny you say that cuz I have yet to see a single ABYS or any DH that has been able to stand their ground fighting me. I’ve had to do sprint training hardcore to keep up with you guys. Maybe one day I’ll be as cool as you. Or I’ll just stay how I am and die fighting like a warrior instead of running like a kitten.

If you stopped bringing at least twice the numbers to any given fight, people might actually fight. Until then, keep falsely thinking that you and your guild are good, as even average would be too generous a word.

Thing is, condition warrior must apply conditions at range through projectiles.
If you manage to have a clone between you and the warrior, you will not be hit by that Torment. Basically, you will only be suffering bleeds.
It’s called positioning, which is really important as a Mesmer.
During the entire fight, I did never have more than 2 conditions applied at once. Sure, it was definitely a harder fight then with my thief, but I still managed to kill him.

IMHO if you want to play a condi warrior you are doing something wrong.

Sounds like you havent played against a good one yet imo. A constant AOE fire burst skill on 7 1/2 sec that is perpetually up that is the size of the node, with good access to stability, good self cleanse (ire) respectable defense (3.7k shaman am). You stand in the fire you are subject to combo finishers, lots of immob that keeps you in the fire, and a very good hp regen rate to keep him up. If that war goes 0/10/30/30/0 and takes banners to add further regen gl. Is it the best? No, i think necros have that title in spvp. Is it good enough? In proper hands i would say so. You can easily defend a node against any one player. In wvw, same idea you lay a constant fire field out for you and your team mates to combo on, lots of bleeds and burning, and heavy access to immob to pain train your teams target. This is assuming s/s +LB.

There is exactly 4 vH., and two pugs in this fight. That green dot way down the map is a person capping Vista. Thats 4 vH + 2 Pugs Versus 9 Pd’s and 1 Pug. If you knew basic math you’d realize that is 6 versus 10. 9 of which are from Your guild. kitten .

I take these odds all day. if you can 2v3 effectively then what are you bragging for? And no, im not PD but i do know them and they fight outnumbered all day everyday. Bragging about not winning and dying because the other side had like 3 more dudes then yours is whack and you should feel bad.

Last night i was being super reckless in SOSBL, Yaks had all these ballistas set up on middle island and sos was on the bridge fighting so me and my 3 man bang squad + 2 SE guys ran around the back of YB and wiped them out for SOS. Then we fought about 20 SoS for a good hour, killing some, dying some, watching Divine Posterity tank a zerg.. yea anyway YOLO right?

TLDR: 3 way 3 vs many, cool story bro. /shrug

I knew we were going to lose this matchup, and so i dont care to see a 20k deficit after the 2nd night. Afterall, it is not SEA or AUS players fault they arent on “our” time. That’s an america-centric viewpoint that is just dumb.

What i am disapointed with is the lack of small scale skill from them and the sheer cowardice of some of their players. 4 SoS see 2 DH? Start fighting one on their team goes down they scatter. Now obviously that isnt EVERYONE on SoS, but kitten seems like alot. I hear they have some good guilds that small scale i guess they are just ghosts or not on the maps i happen to be on.

Just my personal observations so far. I havent had a good fight yet outside of me and 2 PD fighting 5-8+ yesterday. All day long its 5v1 or run from even fights. /shrug Guess i was hoping for more from such a highly rated server.

As I said before, All Servers have good and bad players. Acting like NSP is some god tier server doesn’t make it so. We also have good and bad like everyone. And you act like NSP has never 2v1 ANYONE, and if you say you haven’t you’re a dirty little liar and you embarrass your server. But in the end we still win, coverage or not. When we come into WvWvW we play to win, not run around picking on people trying to run somewhere alone. So yes, while you may have good roamers, doesn’t mean kitten really.

Edit: ESPECIALLY when half your roamers are thieves who run glass cannon builds because they’re too brain dead to do anything else but one shot people
