Hi guys,
I quitted the game almost 1 year ago.
I had basically finished the game (pvp rank 80 or close, legendary weapon etc…).
I still have my eye on GW2 because i’m not going to buy any new console and because i think GW2 pvp is honestly the best.
I tried some MOBA and other games but they are not as deep as this one, and the comunity in F2P games suck really bad (i hope GW2 becoming F2P too will not destroy the peacefull comunity).
So, what’s the changes are? I’d probably playing only pvp and some wvw if i come back so i’m not really interested in pve.
What’s the new meta? Don’t tell me is still DD ele, tanky guardian, SD thief, MM necro…

HI guys!
After i got my legendary Bolt in June 2014, in just one month i uninstalled the game, because i felt there was nothing GW2 could give me anymore (i played since release, 80%pvp).
I personally never spent my time blaming the game on the forums or anything like that, because this piece of art gave the best online experience ever.
After i’ve quitted with GW2 i tried some more online game, only MOBAs, and i realized what made this game awesome: the community.
No hate, no rage, no people disconnecting during rated matches, well this things happens in gw2 too, but if you never tried a MOBA or a FPS online you dont have any idea of how good the community of this game is.
So… My only question is: Is there any info on when the expansion will be online? (not the beta, the final version).
I’ll re-download the game in this days, but i think i’ll start playing it again when the expansion will be on.

celestial DD ele – Hambow – celestial engie and more builds are stronger than SD thieves.

Maybe in the super skyhigh top tier where you can find people like Shad or Sizer this build can wreck people, but from the point of view of me, a noob that play in the % of the leaderboards and dont give a kitten about competitive play, the build is not a problem at all, every time i play it i struggle against the high sustain builds, while i can win most 1v2 i do when i use an hambow.

and most important: OP is a troll.

People seem to be forgetting that Blu was actually a really good player previously. And additionally he deserves to go and probably isn’t much worse than the NA players who are generally considered to be at a much lower level to the EU players (generally only and idk if its true).

The NA community seems so unbelievably immature, rude and aggressive. In EU there are some guys renowned for being rude/obnoxious like shad/posi/a few others. But they are rare. In NA it seems like MOST of the community are ego maniacs/immature children.

Pretty sad for those nice NA guys to be stuck in a small community which lacks dignity and doesn’t even have the competitive level of EU.

Shad is actually the coolest top player i played and talked to in game.
So i dunno why you said that O.o

BLU is probably the most influential guy in the whole GW2 community, even more than devs 0.o

You should go there imo, Europe is gonna own NA no matter what team they bring, so it’s not a big deal if you’re not at the level of top players ;P

BTW did you tried to ask Anet if they can bring you as a live shoucaster? You’re actually pretty kitten and can pump the hipe during matches!

PS: how can you live by organizing GW2 events? Do you even eat?

Man i actually play Warrior and have Champ Legionare title so i know how hambow works.
You can also look at my posts and see that i’m not the QQing kind of guy.
I truly care about GW2, i never played a game so many hours as this one.
I’ve never met so many awesome people in a single community as the italian Ring Of Fire community of GW2.
I spent money on this game trough gems.
I went to Metracritic to post a positive feedback.
I convinced 4 of my friends to buy the game.
I organized tournaments and a little pvp school for my guild.

Hi pvp community of GW2,
I don’t know if this is constructive or not, but i wanted to create a topic about this.

In semptember 2013 i quitted GW2 (was playing since launch), the reason was that the game modes that i liked, small skirmish WvW or solo roaming, but most of all PvP, was ZERO rewarding, so i was finding myself doin things i didn’t liked like LS or Dungeons just to obtain those things i couldn’t get from PvP. And the game was a constant run on Achievement Points through LS things that were in the game for only 2 weeks.
The game was not anymore about doing what i liked, but running in a direction without end for the sake of nothing. So i stopped the game and came back after 6 months in march 2014.

Now, after 5-6 months, i’m goin to quit again, now that i have a legendary weapon, the pvp titles that i wanted etc.. I simply can’t find a reason to play.
After the almighty Feature Patch most of the guys that i was playing with in Team Queue reached 80, and leaved the game after 2-3 weeks because they couldn’t find a reason to play. (Rank don’t measure skills but give the player a direction and a goal to achieve).
Leaderboards reward nothing, why should i bother?
WvW did not have a single change in 2 years, just some small tweaks like ranks that should have been in the game since launch.
Only PvE keep on getting new stuff and new rewards, too bad that PvE is better in almost every offline RPG, and PvP is the reason why i play online, sorry if i don’t find funny stacking in a spot nuking every single boss of every single dungeon or spamming the same button over and over again against an immobile giant monster…

But there are 2 things that bother me most than anything about GW2:
1) The game mechanics are so good that every other pvp game look boring and stupid compared to gw2, the pvp in this game is so fluid and awesome that it keeps playing thousand of players even if ANet don’t really care about them.
2) I can’t see a direction where this game is heading, why pushing TOL2 and esport things while players ask for simple things like a button to change build since Q1 2013 or a small nerf to hambow since June 2013? Why giving us PvE rewards instead of new skins? Why keeping Skyhammer in Solo Queue when there are 999999 topics about removing it? Why making the ranks meaningless after 1,5 years? This is the things that i can’t stand the most, i see so much potential wasted in this game…

Well this is it, i’ll probably come back in 5-6 months, play again, and hope i’ll see new things, but i’m not the optimist now…

Engie is hard to understand as a class, but just to be clear, the only really easy class to understand in this game is Warrior, and even that have a really high skill cap when it comes to pvp.
I have 5 lvl 80 and i found the thief the hardest class to understand, but once you understand the basic of the game, everything is possible.
My suggestion: after 2 years of GW2, i never regret the choice of my first class, and even if i have 4 more pgs now, my first character have something “more” compared to them, and i’ll remember my experience with him in years, like i remember the adventures i had in previous MMOs (but only the ones with my main). So play what you like, not what is easy, this is the best suggestion i can give to you. ^^

SP have the ability to 100-0 almost everything in seconds, but is safer to attack someone that is at least at 70% life.
start the cast of PW and then steal (with basilisk activated), you’ll get the immobilize activated by the trait and than if ur enemy can’t remove the condition you’ll be able to use PW even 2 more times in a row (no one can survive this).
Use 6 2 0 0 6 zerker build with scholar runes, it’s awesome.

On SP i like scholar for the hit and run style.

Ehy mate, i do WvW only with my guild or in solo roaming but everytime i’m with them i ask to turn on the Music Bot, i do it because of my commander voice, he sound like he is goin to die from one moment to another, boriiiiiing!

There is one thing that people like about a commander voice: ENTHUSIASM.

If you sound like you’re smoking marijuana and falling asleep while leading people in a fight, you’re doin it wrong.

The whole idea of the videogames like this is to feel the fight like you are one of the soldiers in the carnage, and you do not want your boss talking like he is a prozac addicted.

Go watch 300, then you’ll have an idea of how a commander should make his comrades feel

Perhaps with team queue, but solo queue hardly feels like a competitive experience and therefore shouldn’t be limited. as someone who has spent a lot of time roaming in wvw I hopped into solo queue when the reward tracks came out, never playing pvp before, and no one complained about me lacking skill or such. (except once or twice, when I literally told everyone that i was brand new to spvp, but ironically i recall that we ended up winning most of the time)

I heard a lot of times this story about “i do wvw solo roaming, so i’m a good pvp player”, but as someone who do both pvp and solo roaming with all my 4 classes, i have to say:
1) Tpvp and Solo Roaming have a very different meta. You’ll never meet a decent player in arena using condi PU or condi PD thief, let alone a warrior with a great sword.
2) Different meta means a different counter to the builds that people use.
3) The average level of skills of a wvw player is lower compared to a pvp player (not always, but most of the time)
4) This may sound stupid, but the most i do arenas, the most i understand one thing, the actual ability to fight and kill a guy (and not getting killed) is just a 30% of what a good player is, and the remaining 70% is map awareness through minimap , that lead to a smart rotation in the whole match to support your team to the fullest, this is actually the big difference between good and bad players.

So in the end, my suggestions for Anet would be this:
1) Put a minimum rank of 10-20 to join arenas.
2) When you reach the right rank, a good tutorial that explain the difference between the game modes.
3) Remove the reward cap from hot joins, let the farmers farm, and let them stay where they can play how they want. There is nothing worst than a guy that join arena and play only to get a good personal score at the end of the match.

I think this things could improve the quality of life for all PvP players, what do you guys think?

That’s it, let just admit that most of the time solo arenas are even worst than hotjoins, at least if you try to win, too much people join without knowing anything of what to do or even what is the difference between hotjoin and arenas.
Anet should put a minum rank of 20 to join arenas, and after a guy hit that rank, give him a fast tutorial that explain the difference between the 2 game modes.

Hey Magnito thx for that, but i tried the now popular Helseth build and it’s not my playstyle, my dmg output is lower if i cant setup a mind wrack with the classic immobilize + blurred frenzy combo, and i’m not good at positioning illusions in the triangle scheme.
BTW what sigil and runes you suggest?

Right now i’m pushing towards my Champion Illusionist title (100 wins atm) and i’m switching often between this 2 builds:
Interrupt Build
Shatter Build

I would like to hear suggestions and opinions about wich one is better in the jungle of solo queue, and how you would change my builds to be more effective (runes and sigil hints are HIGHLY APPRECIATED)
My biggest doubt is always between Greatsword and Staff, while i cant go out without a sword in main hand (i’ve made a Bolt too so i’m not gonna change that O.O) the double hand weapons are so on par but different at the same time that i struggle to find wich one is the best for me.
QUESTIONS:
1) Staff or greatsword? Why?
2) Traveller Runes worth it in pvp?
3) Sigils? (i used strenght runes and battle/energy on both weapons 99% of the time in both builds)
4) Best condi removal for you? (i’m goin for null field right now thanks to the aoe area, giving it an enormous support potential in team fights)
5) Is it mandatory to dress in pink or i can change colors?

Finally Anet decide to make something that is truly exclusive and require true skills, and people blame them for this, and the worst thing is that the OP have 7 legendaries, LOL.
This game is not only for the PvE farmers and TP flippers you know…

I know it’s really bad, but after the 15 April patch i became one of those toxic screamers too during Solo Q…
The amount of noobishness and stupidity is over the top and people simply dont want to improve, not to mention all the leavers and afkers…

ANet should fix this ASAP:
-no daily cap in hot joins for tracks
-minimum rank for joining arenas
-bigger bans for afkers and leavers

I’m finishing my legendary in the next months and i have to say it’s a great feeling
Btw i find that the top end game of GW2 is finding other 4 people and create a pvp group to play together, i had one, that was awesome.
Another awesome thing is to be in a good and friendly wvw guild, i have a blast everytime i play with them on TS.

Thank you guys, i was thinking about takin Arcane Thievery for the reduced coolddown, but that skill miss a lot!
BTW, i could use a lockdown build with just PU instead of chaotic interruption…

YO guys,
i’m actually on my way to finish Bolt, and the first thing that i’ll do once it’s done is to start some solo roaming as a zerker PU mesmer.
My idea is to go for a 4 4 0 0 6 build, but i’ll start with something easier, and PU is the easiest build to use.
i’ll use Greatsword and sword/torch as weapons.
I used a shatter zerker mesmer a lot in pvp, i’m actually at 100+ wins in tpvp with that build, so i can not resist a good ’ol F1 in the enemy face sometime…
I was thinking about a 4 4 6 0 0 build, but my problem is:
- what traits to choose in the chaos trait line?

I came back after a 6 months pause from gw2, and what i saw in pve was so stupid…
I have 4 classes, and in PvE i usually use only my warrior, simply because is faceroll, and i have 7,5k AP, so i can join every group.
But every time i see a guy that request a kick to a ranger / necro or because the guy have only 2k AP i leave the group and re-invite the poor guy.
I’m not gonna support this attitude ever in this game.
And most of all, the PvE is so easy that is simply stupid to lose 15 minutes trying to create a perfect party when most of the dungeons last less than 10 minutes…

Liadri is not and never wass a skill test.
Its a BUILD test.

If you can afford (or you are lucky enough to already have) proper sigils/runes/equipment, it will be easy.

If you can t, you will need lot of luck and perseverance.

A Full zerker ele with scepter/focus with XXX46 and a sigil of energy can kill liadrui quite easily.

A soldier will struggle due to lack of damage

Yeah with my zerker thief it was really easy, basically:
- stealth make all the visions lose the aggro, awesome in phase 1 for bringing up crystals and shooting them.
- Fleet of Foot, a master trait in acrobatics tree make you clear both the conditions she put with just a dodge, and with a thief you can dodge a lot
- limtless teleports with short bow save ur kitten a lot
- double pistol put countless stacks of bleeding while doing awesome damage with skill 3

When everything can kill you in 1 hit, there is no reason to go defensive.

I was like “omg this is sooo easier”, and actually defeated her at my third try without even sweating
Zerker thief with pistol pistol and boom, she was down really fast.

Yesterday i went in a good gold pavillon and got 131 tickets, so today i’m goin for Liadri.
I wasted 30ish tickets the last week with my warrior, and my best run was bringin her to 50% life, too bad that was the only time i passed the phase 1 :|
I’m here to ask suggestions to defeat her, i have a zerker thief and, condi mesmer, soldier ele and soldier/zerk war, wich class is better for you and what tactics you suggest?

The problem is it’s WvW there are no points you have to fight over can kite to your liking or abilities allow and even CnD off chickens.

Someone else will point out I’m sure how you mention you find them predictable in PvP but in your story you are getting hit with Eviscerate and Earthshaker 2 high damage but telegraphed skills.

Anyway it was a duel or 1v1 encounter there are no points PvP =/= WvW. WvW is a sandbox.

So your suggestion here is to essentially nerf the warrior base damage and health in WvW so you can kill them with a 6 SA D/P thief build in a 1v1. Does that really sound like a good reason to adjust warriors health and damage? Your 1v1 experience?

I run 6 SA and 6 trickery with S/D and if the warrior stays and fights I find it personally even the warrior can leave the fight when he wants but I can do the same on my thief.

Yeah i was espressing my opinion based on a 1v1 lost with a class i’m new at using, that is wrong.
I probably got shocked but how un-even the fight was from the start O.O
As you said i could have runned away any time during the fight, i just wanted to stay there and fight to understand what i was doin wrong.
The problem here is that while i was running a 2-6-6-0-0 almost full zerk build i was constantly outdamaged by a semi bunker warrior.
As for getting hitted by the F1 skills, i was fighting for 10 minutes against this war, and at some point you always run out of Stun Breakers and cant dodge/blind, and when the enemy class can use the F1 every 7-10 seconds, before or after he will hit you.
What kind of suggestion could you give me against this fights?

A D/P thief should have no problems killing an axe/hammer warrior in in WvW. If you are going to run zerker in WvW don’t complain about losing 60% of your health in 1 attack chain. Thieves can do the same to a zerker warrior with a good BS chain or PW. I think you just got out played. Roaming WvW is a completely different game than PvP. Builds are different, stats are different, foods and consumables play a huge part, if you don’t adjust your play for it get ready to get owned.

My issue here is different and i think you didnt understand, the problem is that the warrior was probably running soldier gear or a mix of stats, of course he was not zerker, but he was outdamaging me.
I dont have any problem to admit when players outskill me, especially when i lose to my thief, a class i started using 2 weeks ago and leveled only with tomes, but in that case it was just not a even fight.

Do people truly not realize this guy is a troll? O.o

i just want to start by saying that i’m not here to whine or QQ, i’m here to understand one thing:
-The difference of the warrior class between PvP and WvW

I have 4 classes i use regularly: warrior, ele, thief and mesmer.
I am 60/70% of my time in pvp, where i use all of my classes with good results, lately (2 months) i started doin some solo roaming in wvw with my mesmer and thief, succesfully most of the time, probably because the average level of player skills in wvw is way lower compared to Arenas.

But here comes my problem, i find warriors in WvW absolutely over the top, and while i almost never lose to any kind of warrior in pvp, due to their extremely predictable rotations and skill animations, even when i use my thief (my newest class),
i find them almost unkillable in WvW unless i’m using some cheesy condi build, but to be honest, i never do that.

Last day i fought over and over a warrior (and i have to admit he was not skilled at all) with my zerker DP thief (shadow arts classic roaming build). It was incredible what i was watching.
While i wasnt able to burst him down to 50% life, even chaining backstabs and other things constantly applying poison to weaken his HS etc etc… he was able to hit me for not less than 60/70% of my life with both eviscerate and earthshaker.
That was almost laughable, i knew i’d never win that match, but i wanted to stay there and try and try again, but that was impossible. I was defending myself with all the things i could, blinds, stealths, teleports etc, but with one error i was down to 30% of my life, while he was eating all of my bursts while swinging randomly his hammer.

Conclusion:
I personally think that the problem is the base statistics of the warrior class.
The base damage is too high and health too, this 2 things together make the class a bunker and a zerker at the same time.
Notice that i’m talking ONLY about WvW stats, i’m one of the few guys that dont find hambow a problem in pvp.

What do you guys think about that?

Hey i was thinking about using something similar to this, but i want to ask, what about putting those 6 points into Chaos Line instead of Illusions and grab some interrupt traits?

In the end the shatters will do almost the same damage, but with GS#5 + Staff#5 + F3 + maybe a mantra you’ll get a lot of interrupts, and considering the might meta we are into this build could work awesome with strenght runes and sigil of battle + energy on both weapons.

What do u think?

So yesterday i finally 80ed my thief, (20lvl tome + 50 tome of knowledge, i hate PvEing) and went to WvW with this build
Gotta admit that it works WAY BETTER in wvw then in PvP, i’m basically invincible when it comes to solo roaming in 1v1s, the only guy that downed me was a PD DP condi thief, i simply dont know how to counter them…
But for PvP it’s a different story, i would like some suggestions for builds in PvP for solo and team queue, i’m not really stick to DP, i like to understand all mechanincs of a class ^^
Another question:
- For wvw Solo Roaming i find the traits IV and XI in shadow arts a must have, but i’m not convinced about the choice in Master Tier, what trait you guys suggest me? is patience good?

I’m not really looking for suggestions considering i’m not gonna use my ele in PvP anymore, at least for a while.
The version of DD i use is the product of a lot of variations i did on traits, and what i have linked is the final and the “perfect for me” variation.
I personally dont like LF at all as a cantrip, the only time i used it in pvp was for the BS combo, but i was using berserk amulet at the time.
I dont put 30 in water because i never died to a condi build lately, so i dont really feel the need to put some extra condi removal ^^

i almost never posted anything in the ele forum, and from now on i’ll switch to another class in PvP because i really like the idea of learning a new class instead of using always me ele (my first class since beta in wvw-pvp-pve).
I decided to write here a list of the builds i actually use in TPvP with my team, i usually switch to one of them at the beginning of the match depending on the enemy team and the map (and what my 4 friends want to use).
I hope this will help someone ^^

List of Builds:
1) DD CANTRIP
-This is classic, i use it the most in Solo Queue or if my team need strenght in the middle of the action, awesome in 1v1 and 1v2, cant hold a 1v3 for long.
The mist form and armor of earth are a must for me, i use them almost only for res/stomp
2) FRESH AIR
-This build have the best burst in game, and is all or nothing at the finest, you use this when ur team need more damage in a fight. This is not a good 1v1 build against any good player by the way, so do not roam solo.
3) STAFF DPS
Use this build when you want hate whispers all over your chat window ;P
This is probably the best AoE damaging build out of all classes, you have to find a safe place and start bombing from there, be aware that you’ll never win any 1v1 against people that actually have a mouse and a keyboard and 2 hands to use them.
I ALWAYS use this build in Forest Of Nifhel. Other map where this build is good is Temple.
4) POINT HOLDER
This is the most bunkerish build i’ve found for my ele, it has only 1 SB but i dont really found it a problem, you can always switch the signet for mist form but you’ll lose 180 toughness.

After messing around with some of the classes on this game i decided that my next “main pvp class” will be the teef, i had 85 arena wins on mesmer and 55 with war but what i enjoy now is learning a new class from zero.
In this topic i would like to get some suggestions by expert thieves about “how to thief” and what’s the approach you have in fights when you use this class.
Here is some questions:
-i like DP 2 6 6 0 0 playstyle a lot, but is it viable in tpvp?
-do people actually use that shortbow in fights or only for fast movement?
-what do you do in the 4vs4 classic fight at the beginning of arenas?
-what burst rotations you guys use? (i think SP have the best burst right?)
-Is it even possible to kill a DPS Guardian as a thief? (they eat me alive…)
-Is it mandatory to dress like a ninja and use only Abyss dye on the armor, do it actually give some kind of stat boost?

I think the only build with higher skill cap is the good old fresh air SD build.

Where is the big skill in mashing all possible buttons at once and one shorting people or be killed.
Its lame.. None of those one shot build needs much skill.
Skill is reacting to your enemy’s moves and taking the right decisions.
I never understood where the skill should be in one hitting anybody..

I play dd ele since beta BTW.

If you say that you play DD since beta how can you argue about SD?
I tried almost every possible build ele could have, and i find SD fresh air the most difficult, i’ll explain you why:
-in DD you can refuel your life every 10 seconds in cleric, or get 50% of your life back in celestial, having a class that can self sustain that much make everybody a decent DD user, the combo is simply pushing button one after another and the only thing that is hard to drop is fire grab (3-4-5-F1-3-5) and if you fail to use the initial combo is not a big problem at all, you simply start the fight on par instead that with a good advantage. Most of the DD users have 3 cantrips: vigor, regeneration, stun breakers, stability, protection etc etc…
-SD fresh air on the other hand what offer? an initial opening combo that will NEVER kill an opponent if he is at full life, it will kill almost everything that is below 50% by the way, but your duty is the same as a thief IF you are bad. Being good with SD means that you’ll be able to sustain damage after using the combo, and be able to win 1v1, and believe me, is not that easy if you don’t have any condi removal, 1 stun breaker, 16k life and 1800 armor, and more important, you need to be sure that your combo will hit every time, so that means that you constantly need to watch: blinds, aegis, retaliation, possible LOS obstructions, defensive skills like protect me or defy pain, thieves around that could kill you in 2 seconds etc…
I personally use warrior, mesmer and ele, and i always found the “all or nothing” builds way harder than others, do you remember the frenzy 100b warriors from the Q1 of 2013? That build was for the most noobs out there, or for the most good. The difference was about be able to drop a lucky combo from time to time, or being a a death machine that could wreck anything in 3,5 seconds. WellSD fresh air is the same imo

I know that the build you are using is actually the fotm in ele forums, but if you try to switch some points and try something like this 2-0-2-4-6 or 2-0-0-6-6 you’ll see that is better, and you get that little defense boost that could actually give you the chance to try a zerk amulet and really see big numbers!
By the way, ele is a kittening awesome class, it can bunker, hybrid, roaming or (as i’m doin) rock a staff and a zerk amulet and achieve the most hated build in the whole pvp community right now, and every weapon combination is viable.

Hi guys, i’m actually running this build
It hit pretty hard but is not as extreme as your Diva, that’s why i want to ask you:
With that kind of build what do you do when you see that the enemy team have 1+ thief? Honestly, a SP zerk thief or a backstab one will make your full match almost unplayable if he is half good (depends on the map of course, forest is the best map for zerk staff).
Another question: why do u interrupt your meteor shower at half the cast? i always knew that if you interrupt it the number of meteors will decrease, isn’t that correct?

yesterday i was playing with my team running this BUILD
I gotta say that is probably the most fun thing i ever did in pvp, finding spots to hide and dropping aoe in the circle!
To the people that insult me (i had a champion paragon whispering me for 15 minutes about how i am a phag and a noob and i will never win a 1v1, after we owned his team 500-70) i simply say that this is a game, and that we all have enough real life to rage about, gaming is about fun.
And btw, the build is pretty kitten hard to play, way more than a celestial DD or cleric bunker, because putting statics, unsteady grounds and other CCs or healing aoes in the right place is not that easy, and avoiding a fast burst from a thief or a mesmer is our main problem.
I think the only build with higher skill cap is the good old fresh air SD build.

The game is simply too fast to follow imo, and my idea is that the staff of Anet know this, and at the same time they want to push the #esport thing, that’s why they nerfed most of the fast bursting things we had in the beginning (quickness most of all) and promoting a slow bunker vs bunker meta, because is easier to follow in the streams.
I have no problem following the movements of players while i’m using my pg, and i run a Fresh Air zerker ele, probably the fastest build to use in terms of chaining skills, but i have problems follow fights in twitch.

Just 2 days ago i won 7 matches out of 8 with my guild members while we were trying new rotations on points, and i thought “ho man we should have joined the tournament” and then i see the match…
i’m so glad i didn’t subscribed my team in the tournament lol, this guys are out of the world..

I say you can predict the match based on 3 things:
-weapon equipped i see so many warriors with GS these days, or mesmer with torch, or guardians with staff and GS…
-shiny style a guy with those glowing metal wings sure is a PvE oriented player, or a legendary GS, tequatl / fractals weapons…
-title every time i see Hero Of Lions Arch i know it’s gonna be bad now, every PvP player should use his champion title (not champion slayer pls) or ransacker / marauder etc…

Try it out in spvp, if you got the rotation in your fingers. You’ll be really surprised how hard it is for multiple folks to damage you while pumping out a lot of pressure.

PU is trait that is usefull IF the enemy can hit you.

1) the build i posted is not for tpvp, PU suck in a cap point mode. I use the Invincible mesmer build in wvw
2) i go defensive because i search outnumbered fights. The best moment i had on my mesmer was winning a 1v4, slowly killing all of them, stomping one after another, and keeping my life low for all the match to give them the idea of almost had me down, while in fact i had my elite and heal ready all of the time. This kind of things are impossible with a zerk build in the current condibunker meta.
3) As for your build, sorry but i dont get why you choose that amulet, i personally dont like it at all in pvp, you have a lot of precision for what? just for a minor trait that stack bleeds? The rest of the build is cool, i can see that you’re a guy that think outside the box ^^

You don’t. You will have basically no chase ability lol, I just count it as a win and go find someone else to kill.
