Share your thief armor set!

Here is my current armor. It is a mix of human cultural, Krytan arm and boots with Vigil legs.

Once the Viper’s armor goes back up for sale I’ll get that sweet, sweet mini skirt and show more leg.

I have really nothing to say about your armor, the colors fit (skin tone with armor dyes), the proportions are right (womanly figure), the eyecolor is chosen according to the whole style and not according to your personal preference of women, the arm pieces send out a message of ,,hey I got spikes I’m dangerous’’ and it really doesn’t have anything obnoxious to it, like mine XD All in all your armor is well balanced in its composition and if I ever make a female thief I’d go with the same style. I love staff. It’s so cool and the animations really show what thief should have been a long time ago. Now, I never liked d/p to begin with, but I do agree that it is the stronges weaponset thief had. yes, HAD. Now it’s time for some kungkittenaction, whirl around like a mofo, leap around like a frog and look cool bam bam dead, next one! BAM.

I’ve had way too much fun with the daredevil, so I want all the others who are disappointed with thief to cheer up a bit and get out of d/p and stealth. It’s worth it.

They did buff thief, they just gave it a different role which a lot of conservative players won’t see immediately. It’s not a coincidence that the superior rune of the daredevil has toughness in it =) I for one love the added sustain.

I got many questions. Like why when I ask people for help in the map chat literally nobody answers or how the heck I should defeat bosses on my own since apparently the population of this map equals 0. Are there already full maps or what? How do you enter them? Who do I need to ask? Is it like Tequatl where you need to be ready 1 hour prior in order to be able to even participate? Why is there no response from Arenanet concerning such things? I just want my bladed armor…

Can we get some confirmation from the devs that they’re working on fixing it?

Because currently you don’t get the damage boost from the trait, in fact, after some testing I came to the conclusion that it actually reduces it. I saw some other post on the forum where another guy warns people of it.

After joining a squad in eotm there was no way to leave it afterwards. Everytime I try to leave it says:

The player or channel cannot be found
(Code=3008:1009:1:1712:101)

Discussion over. This spec is meta for a reason. It’s absolutely broken and thieves have nothing to complain about as long as they play this build. Why else is arenanet trying to nerf stealth builds so much?

Traps visible in PvP?

Hello.

I’ve noticed a lot of players dodging over my traps when I prepare them in the middle of a point. So are thief traps in comparison to ranger traps really visible?
Then what’s the point of having visible traps? Isn’t it like Necro Staff fields then, just much more underwhelming?

I need somebody to confirm this, because I’ve been having fun with traps in PvP and it certainly is much more fun than d/p blind/stealth spamming.

In pvp I don’t see why this shouldn’t be the case. It’s obvious that certain builds have a much bigger disadvantage against retaliation than others. Even some weaponsets becomen unviable if the other party has retaliation. Any class with big single hits can just dish out damage without worrying about this boon. It is this boon that makes s/p thieves afraid of using 3 on guardians and now even warriors, since this boon is apparently not even exclusive to some classes, but is distrubuted like herpes by a Romanian hooker.
It seems to me like retaliation never really had an important role apart from being annoying to deal with and stalling the inevitable (mordrem wolves).

On the other hand you could say that attacks with multiple hits have an advantage against builds with blinds, which is true, however, retaliation still is like a little layer of protection which, in an unfair way, can annihilate certain builds.

The 1 second Internal Cooldown could help to solve this unfairness.

Hello developers and fellow thieves!

I just wanted to tune in quickly and tell you about my absolutely lovely experience hearing about the daredevil specialization

First of all, I want to tell you something about a cancelled game called ,,Rusty Hearts’’.
It was an MMO where you slashed foes in a Gothic environment and with animated, cell shade art that reminds you of anime/manga.
In the world of Rusty Hearts there was a character called Angela Strraugend, a witch, who wielded a scythe and channeled magic to crush her foes. Her dodge made her temporarily invulnerable. You see where I’m heading? =D

I am now very happy to see, that the playstyle I SO adored in Rusty Hearts is finally resurrected in this new elite specialization. It’s always I’ve ever really wanted to see in the thief class and I am already looking forward to trying out the spec.

I especially love the idea of wielding a scythe as a staff again so I searched through the PvP wardrobe to find one. I found the ,,destroyer scythe’’. Sadly, it was part of the old pvp system and we will probably only ever see it in future gem store sales
However, fear not for I have found the Primordus staff skin to work almost (well, not really) as well as the destroyer scythe worked! So here is my current main Lacrimosa and his future look which I will love to bits and will be playing for a long time to come.

I hope other people can get their inspiration from the daredevil and find a lot of fun in the new spec. I hope customizing my character won’t be the most fun I’ll have and I don’t doubt that =)

Mesmers have little access to Burning, the most powerful condition at the moment; so I’m a bit puzzled as to where this is coming from. The two skills you complained about: Counter and Images: both have very obvious tells that makes them easy to avoid. A lot of popular builds with a modicum of condition cleansing can deal with a Condi Mesmer pretty effectively.

My guess is you play a build with very little cleansing, in which case any condition build will wipe the floor with you, not just Mesmers. I should also point out that unlike most condi builds, Mesmers rely on skills with obvious tells (Shatters, Counter, Images) and the effectiveness of their conditions depends on what they’re opponent is doing (running around, spamming skills), so losing to a Condi Mesmer is much more likely to be a L2P issue than to say a Burn Guard.

Sure if you can evade attacks from a stealthed mesmer, which after stealth you need a couple of seconds to focus him and plus he has stuns, dazes which can lock you down in order to hit those condis. I am not going to run several condi cleanses just because there’s one or two severly overpowered condi classes. I have to fight other classes too, and for them I need my usual utilities that synergize with my traits. The End.

I play Gw2 for pvp. Been doing it along time and always will. My main is my Thief and I have had some fantastic times in pvp but these past few weeks I barely even play him anymore.

With all the condi flying around now its just impossible to survive long enough to have a real impact. Sure, we can still burst the lone straggler down but getting anywhere close to an actual fight and we are pretty much dead before we arrive. Just a couple of notable things: A guard burning me for 20% of my health per tick (Killed me when i was fighting him without even landing a hit on me). A Warrior killing me before i even get out of its CC. And also Necros… Just lol!

I have been playing my Ele and my Necro recently and man is it so much easier and fun running around burning everyone down with condis. I actually feel sick now when i log in on my Thief to pvp.

Of course I love my Thief as its my main so I wonder, is it even worth playing now in pvp? Yes you can tell me we are meant to pick of targets on low health and then get out but is it really fun doing that whilst other classes stomp the battlefield with all their condi?

No, thief has not been viable for a long time. Now especially not.

It’s really gotten bad, I found myself in such situations more than once. That’s why I started playing in hotjoin cause I can simply leave the match without it having too much of an effect on others. I am forced to do it basically.

Thief is lowest tier at the moment. We all hope for the elite specialization to bring new wind into the class but hey I’m expecting the worst.

Yeah, I know… it’s somewhat childish of me… don’t mind me, just wanna QQ a little^^

Was not playing GW2 for a month or so. Went back to play some PvP. Played one game unranked and it was a pretty good game actually.

But then there is this person… he was in my team and had to verbally bash everyone. First “the enemy team was all scrubs”, then the “warrior has no idea how to warrior”, then the thief was doing something wrong… only he knows what… Then nobody “stomps”… when there is nothing to actually stomp… and so on…

Finally we lost, because they killed our lord, when we had like 450 points and we all “should go back to hotjoin”…

I know, he may just be one bad apple in a fight of 9 other civilized people. But I don’t wanna have to deal with idiots, when I am back home entertaining myself with a game. And PvP is about everything I do in GW2… so I don’t GW2 any more…

It’s a petty… after all I payed for the expansion… but it’s just too tiring for me.

Why aren’t manners a thing in the internet?

Maybe PvPing in guild arena will be better. I’ll wait for that. So I can actually somewhat influence with whom I play…

GW2’s community is venomous. I’m not saying it’s because of the lack of good report systems but it is because those players do not get punished. They simply don’t. That’s why I rate the support survey with worst scores everytime cause they don’t. do. kitten.

They’re abominations that are being exploited by hundreds of players. They’re easy to play and are very difficult to kill. They break PvP because they’re literally flooding the matches with their presence because everybody knows they’re overpowered. You’ve already had the chance to nerf them yet you did not even adress conditions at all.

,,Illusionary Counter’’ needs to be looked at. The sheer amount of utility this single skill brings is ridiculous and it must be toned down. Along with ,,Confusing Images’’ the scepter just puts out too much damage considering that it has such a low cooldown and the condition duration is high as well, not to mention the gigantic condi stacks that are put on the target.

Sudden Premades in Hotjoin

What’s up with all of those premades contesting against soloers? I’ve just reached phoenix rank (which I am really proud of) and just in the recent days of getting it, it suddenly got really hard to win a match. First of all because there seemed to be much more organized team members in the opposite team and also because my builds didn’t really revolve around outnumbered fights (which obviously changed after some really frustrating matches). I eventually switched from thief to warrior and I finally got my desired rank.

However, for a lot of soloers I can imagine contesting against premades and finding yourself in outnumbered fights almost in every minute is simply not fun. Sure it does kind of help to develop your skills in outnumbered fights; to push your gaming skills to the max. But in most cases you just dance around like an idiot trying to evade hundreds of attacks and waiting for an opening.

So can somebody, perhaps a developer, tell me if there will be a separation between teams and solo players soon? I’d like to hear about it. Cheers.

Thief burst damage back

Yeah, we can definitely do some amazing burst. I always run Shadow Trap in PVP, though I don’t combo it with steal to initiate. Sounds like an interesting idea. The main issue is that most classes will pop some kind of invuln, block, or otherwise amazing survival skill and heal through most damage following the initial burst. If I can’t down someone within one second, chances are the fight will last much longer than it should.

yea this is sooo true. But that’s why I have shadow refuge in the third slot so that I can wait it out and burst again. Also valkyrie stats give you a lot of survivability since you’re gonna relyon backstab only. I noticed even with valkyrie my health drops really quickly still against classes like mesmer thieves themselves. I guess it’s just luck and the moment of surprise which decides if you’re gonna kill or get killed. I mean we’re thieves we’re masters at surprising the enemy. Of course this is also not viable in pvp since finding a single target is pretty difficult in that zergfest ^^’

Hello fellow rogues and roguelles

I have found a build which lets you do backstab like in the old days. I recently just made a 13k backstab on an engineer and even got over the 1000 points barrier on celestial stone heart+ frost aura+ protection eles. The concept is simple;

The following traits will help you reach those number:

Deadly Arts- Deadly trapper
+
Critical Strikes- Signet of Power

The utilities you need are shadow trap and Assassin’s signet.

Use steal+ shadow trap to trigger its effect. you get instant 15 stacks of might and with the activation of assyo signet and extra power boost getting you to 20 stacks of might for ten seconds.

Now this is purely based on your skills to execute an assassination, but if you land that damage you will down almost anything if you add a couple of AA’s and a heartseeker perhaps. Except for celes.

This is a fun build and in no way viable because there are just too many counters. But I as a veteran thief enjoy seeing those big numbers again =) cheers!

Ok they’re not OP or anything, but they’re certainly stronger than any other class at the moment. And yes, the mesmer population did skyrocket because of that very fact. And yes people exploit such things ever since competitive games existed, it’s nothing new but it needs to be fixed soon because people are leaving pvp. Some have a frustration tresholds higher than others, but they will soon get sick of it all, too ^^

Hooray, I can give meaningless anecdotal evidence too!

It’s not only ONE experience, everyone can tell you about how mesmer population skyrocketed ever since the last patch. I find it funny how people always try to find any kind of’’evidence’’ to disprove a fact. Fact is; mesmer is overpowered. And if you say otherwise you are probably maining mesmer yourself and don’t want to leave the OP train or you don’t play pvp at all.

This is my character Duke Neo and he’s an example on how to use the trenchcoats in a creative way.

This style really fits my character cause in the personal story he’s also from nobility.
Trenchcoats are fine by me, just don’t make them dominate your customisation options and design them in a way that enables various customisation options. With this chestpiece I got lucky, I still think that the shoulders look kind of clunky, but I had little to work with. Gl to all the other stylists out there! ^^

I refuse to buy any outfits, no matter how good they look. I want to mix armor pieces together instead of just buying an outfit which I kinda like because of the cool gloves or the head piece. I know this is all about money and that Smith guy probably noticed how they got more profit from selling outfits only. Nevertheless, you should maybe enable the option of combining certain outfit pieces together. And if that doesn’t give you more money because you satisfy the needs of another part of customers then please tell me why it wouldn’t work.

Rangers can use their f2 in their downed state. Is this kittening intended? No, I’m not raging. Just had to try 3 times do stomp a ranger because I got CC’ed so many times and wanted to clear some things. Expect a full on list with pros and cons if it’s intended.

If it’s not intended. Then I don’t know why this has never been brought up/ fixed by Arenanet.

Make Boosters Collectibles?

Throughout my two years of playing Guild Wars 2 I received a lot…and I mean a LOT of boosters in all colors imaginable. And they always ended up either being used all at once for an event or being put in my 3×10 bank tab. So I asked myself the question, how in the name of the six can I manage those pesky boosters?

Make them collectibles. Not only would that help to keep order in everyone’s inventory, but it would also save us some precious bank slots. I cannot come up with more arguments and that’s why I posted this here.

All in all it would just improve quality of life and I would really appreciate if you add your arguments here so I can make a pro/con sheet and revise it.

Thief really doesn’t need to worry at all when their new OP Shadow Art line comes live. Mesmer would never be able to kill you anyway.

But you do have to worry about double Moa form after the patch :P

This is very true and also the fact that condition teef will be even stronger soon will hurt the condi weak mesmer greatly ^^

Remove the Courtyard map

Courtyard, Spirit Watch, and Skyhammer will not be included in ranked arena once the beta ladder officially starts.

Remove it from the game please. If you’ve ever played pvp in your leisure time and not for doing """balance""" work then you’d know that usually organized teams and guilds contest against unorganized ones.
When I first heard of the map I thought it’s going to be a small scale death match 2v2 for example. However, I forgot that gw2 severly punishes solo game play and that anything out of the 5+ player groups is outrageous and should not be tolerated.
Back to the topic though, the Courtyard map is imbalanced as kitten and should at least not be chosable in unranked, so that those who go to pvp with their friends with Teamspeak and so on cannot abuse the map to win.

But hey we all know how bad Arenanet is with balancing pvp, so it will not happen ever. Or they’ll simply “work on it”

Whoah whoah whoah, hold your horse there! Just about all the old teleport spots still work, in fact, there are even a lot of new ones. Maybe I should have specified. For me the teleportation spots in PvP don’t really matter since in my opinion thief does not really belong in PvP any longer (except for S/D perhaps for quickly capturing points). I was talking more about WvWvW (Taking out casters, small scale roaming etc.) and PvE (dungeon teleportation spots or simply stealing is bugged out and one is left with wasting time spamming the f1 button and changing positions until it finally works. E.g. Ascalon when stacking in corners I usually get that glorious message over and over again, I need the steal because of the damage boost of 10% and more).

WvWvW: Since the whole concept of blobs has to be reworked due to stability you should probably not quote me on that but as of now casters can simply memorize the spots where thieves cannot port and they’ll be safe from surprise attacks (except for stealth surprise attack but generally our options are fewer). I find this problematic since the role of a thief in zerg fights is taking out the casters in the rear, but since we can’t port to them any longer we have to actually somehow walk to them (in stealth) and that takes both time and some HP in order to reach them. Furthermore, they can, as already stated, kite us around since our mobility depends often on teleportation skills.

In PvE it gets less tricky. There I sometimes faced situations where I wanted to teleport away from a target but couldn’t do it compared to how I usually could. There are still spots left that one can teleport to but the most important ones are gone (only experienced AC and sorrow’s embrace so far).

While in PvP there’s so much improvement and I’m happy for it if it weren’t for the general PvP system of having to capture points and how it doesn’t synergize with thief at all. Except for decapping empty points, which hopefully aren’t occupied by a decap engi

I’ll take another look at wvw and maybe document all the spots that in my opinion are really valuable to the thief, mesmers and elementalists. Can’t really do PvE since I’m not a hardcore player, so maybe one of you could help me out?
And if someone could explain to me what makes theif viable in PvP and that no other class can do please do so, I’ll look forward to it. Thank you.

We are the profession that relies most on teleportation and kiting than other professions. Thieves need to me mobile and always on top of their target or else we won’t do the damage that we need in order to win a fight and we will receive damage that will easily put us down with that HP pool.
Arenanet has now taken away numerous things that make this profession unique. Not only were several spots where one could teleport with Infiltrator’s Arrow and Shadowstep, no, other players take advantage of this crippling patch and lure the fight to someplace where there is ‘’no valid path to target’’ and kite us until we are dead. Not only did they cripple or absolutely destroy the thief’s capabilities of sticking to the target they have literally crippled our mobility as well. Those sweet spots where you could teleport on the bridge or on top of the roof in order to scout the area? ‘’no valid path to target’‘. Or you need to escape and try to teleport away from that warrior who rivals us in damage and onto that grassy rock? ’’no valid path to target’’ .

I see that there IS a positive aspec about this patch- You will not waste a teleportation skill and won’t get stuck in place or a wall. However, an experienced player will know the places where one should teleport and where not. It needs discovery in order not to waste the skill.

It is truly sad how much this ’’update’’ damages the thief, mesmers and elementalists, who can all use teleportation skills. I can only think this is a joke since several other bugs occured during the patch and I sincerely hope that this is just another bug. I hope this will not disencourage most players to give up on their thieves, but it most likely will since thief has ever since the release of gw2 been doomed to be the ‘’most nerfed profession in gw2 history’‘. Apart from the huge nerf on dagger storm, the ’’no valid path to target’’ update is a big factor which damages not only the quality in battles but also the possibilities that teleportation skills can offer.

Why don’t you just put us in a squared, even room already with no other means than beating the crap out of each other by facerolling over the keyboard?
If you do, please send me the amount of players taking their thieves and mesmers into this map and lets compare it with the rest of the professions- thank you.

Why all teef say we nubs if all dey do is press nr 2 on keybord? LB is so much fun and everone who tinks not is not played ranger. What pipol don’t know is that it’s really hard to click on the enemie if your moving. So for any other pro ranger you have to stand and then aim, cauze you wont mis the target then. Since the game is so unbalanced its also ok to bring 4 other rangers with u I mean rangers are still in such a bad spot that its ok to do it, i mean if teefs can do 16k on backstab why we cant do Rapi Fire with 4 ranger? Plz tell me u’re opinien, kthxbye

Why do people hate on LB ranger?? I been doing roaming with my guild in the BL’s and in my group were 5 ranger in total. We rekt every thief with Rapid Fire and then they write to us ‘’lol u scrubs learn how to use button 3-5’’ but thieves can only press nr 2 can they not? So why every hate on us if teef is liek not pressing 1 and 3 and 4 and 5 ans 6 and so on? I don’t get.

I have been toying with Shadow trap in WvW.It hard to get it to work JUST right but this skill can be so fun. I was laying down a needle trap with a shadow trap on top. I was using it on the approach to a camp and waiting out of site. See it triggered then do the step back.The 1800+ power 1900+ condi with revealed training becomes 2300 power and 2200 condi. You have 5 seconds stealth and the bad guy is immobilized. (they do not see you of course and are not even aware you next to them so will very often not try to break that immob)

it nice when it works just right.

The most important factor here is you lay on all this damage and barely touch your ini.

I used to run Shadow Trap with my Pistol Whip build and I have come across that situation. The damage output from my build is just insane due to the compounding damage bonuses plus the stacks of Might.

All right, I read all of your criticism. Could you please post your build so I can try it out and see things for myself? Because a lot of stuff depends on the actual battle itself and of course your playstyle.

People seem to be under the impression that needle trap must be dropped beforehand hoping the enemy steps on it. You can in fact drop it as you are engaged directly on the enemy. The activation time is equal to that of cNd slice and cripple and it is unblockable.

Your build, with panic strike has a whole lot of Immobs. Now add Devourer venom in there along with that needle trap.

I used to play this build back when I discovered the trap build. I like it but you are veeeery vulnerable against condi builds, however power build are not a problem. Nice one though, keep the creativity coming!

Are you sure you’re not describing your build?

The build I’ve posted left the secondary weapon set open so you can be versatile if you want to. I prefer P/P on the 2ndary set but you can also use D/P or SB to add more mobility.

There is no getting away from “condition bomb” because this is not a build for running away or kiting (that’s boring strategy). This is a build that gets into your face and point blank trapping and pistol whipping.

I can also tell that you have not played against this build since this build has a built-in cleanse at Sword #2 which can wreck your bleed stacks.

You on the other hand are more susceptible to “condition bomb” since you don’t have any cleanse except Refuge.

That’s why sword/dagger is a must as a secondary weapon set, it’s the most fun weaponset for the thief imo. And if spamming pistol whip and unload is less boring than strategic gameplay and positioning with p/d is another question, but to a lot of people the answer would be obvious.

I can cleanse all damage dealing conditions with my heal and if you haven’t looked at my build please do so and we can proceed with the discussion. Also the trait that cleanses conditions in stealth every three seconds is kinda nice, too, don’t you think? Play whatever you want but deciding what’s boring/what’s most fun is an entirely emotionally based discussion that I do not really want to have any longer.

For solo roaming my build is superior since you have far more mobility, hence, escapability.

Furthermore, I apply so many conditions on my first damage rotation that removing the bleed stacks isn’t even such a big deal; I just reapply them, that’s a forte of condi thieves and especially caltrops since the enemy sits in them for such a long time

And no, I decided never to play with shadow refuge again because it’s simply more boring than using my beloved shadow trap <3 and I get much more out of it and you get a much bigger award playing with it, allthough yes, it is riskier against builds with more sustain.

You actually may be right with the predictability of my build. After a while of having fought condi thieves I noticed certain patterns and after a while they became really easy to handle (not kill since they can just escape like that and they usually do)

What sets my build and yours build appart is that my build’s survivability is much higher due to dire armor and the availability of more innitiative points. I have much more sustain and once you run out of innitiative points you have to go into defense, while I on the other hand have always innitiative points ready and I am also safer than you playing mid-ranged. There are so many more points but to conclude; Sword/pistol’s skill cap is reached much sooner than p/d.

Also the fact that you don’t really synergize with your rune attributes and trap utilities makes for another huge mistake. I noticed that my build synergizes with so many things that it gets ridiculous.

So do play with your build but try to fight a group of 2 or 3 in a strechted out fight and you will see how quickly you’ll be vulnerable to their damage since your only stealth source are the traps (perhaps also thief steal, traits or secondary weapon set in combination with blinding powder).

If you have something to add I’ll listen but try to drop the boring/fun topic already cause I won’t argue about that. kkthxbye

Wow guys those are very good builds and suggestions you came up with!
I will make that sinister armor and try it out, however, I prefer to fight in outnumbered fights so my dire armor often saved me ^^’ In a 1vs1 situation your builds would prevail against pretty much every class (except for condi ele since it’s literally our counter).
I would love to see some implementations for the traps, some utility that could make for more strategic gameplay on thief.

Hello everyone

I’ve been using the meta wvw trap build since the release of the trapper runes and I can just say that I love this build. It’s different from the regular condi build because I use hybrid gear and my survivability is much lower too. I’m running full trap utilities, so no shadow refuge to magically save me in situations where I should have thought harder.
Now, I created this thread to put traps under the spotlight. I think they’re really fun to use and with the new runes they’ve become a means of playing strategically with the thief, not only relying on stealth, but also positioning and playing mindgames with the opponent. That is why I’d like to see a further development into this playstyle of the thief and I hope there will be some implementations in the upcoming expansion Hear of Thorns. Let me first elaborate the pros and cons of this spec:

pros:
-Stealth without target (unlike Cloak and Dagger)
-Stealth of 3 seconds (traited)
-Superspeed of 3 seconds (+100% movement speed. If paired with sword/dagger you can be as fast as sonic. it’s really fast when spamming 3 and withdraw)
-Nice condi damage on spikes (bleeding was increased recently, I see the love anet <3)
-Very nice knockdown of 3 seconds (could be a bit too much imo tone it down but give it something different in return like boons or something)
-Shadow trap gives 6 sec of stealth +several other useful things
-Very fun to play
-CC capabilities (once stacked over 50 seconds of cripple on a warrior xD, people will generally have a hard time following you, you will kite them and control the battle)
-Mobility*

Cons:
-Activation time (trap is put down but rune effects won’t trigger)
-Animation (visible in stealth so mind you position)
-Switching weapons after putting it down will bug the effects out, you won’t be stealthed+superspeed
-Revelead (if an enemy steps on the trap approximately 0.5 seconds after you’ve put it down you get revealed, so you HAVE to either get close and activate it in need of stealth or go far away in hope they won’t trigger it)
-1 useless trap (Ambush, with a condi spec this guy won’t do a lot of damage but can be used effectively, you just gotta know how to use him, venom build etc but that’s something else)
-Weak traits Corrosive Traps (only useful in a power or hybrid build but vulnerability doesn’t affect condi damage since condi ignore armor alltogether)
-Master Trapper trait not reaaaally a con but could be better (if you compare it to ranger traits you can see that it does not only reduce recharge rate but increases condition damage too)
-full condi spec will not save you from elementalists, that’s why I chose hybrid to apply more pressure (diamond skin, stupid heal that cleanses all of your bleed stacks Q_Q)
-Mobility*

**Mobility is weak in a non stealthed situation but during stealth it’s at a max. Sword/dagger prefered over SB since I have a hybrid build but also because of nr 3 on sword

Buffood is usualy tuning CRYSTAL since they’re cheaper but for an ideal hybrid build you should take sharpening stones since you profit most from the dire stats on your armor.

So that’s about everything I could think of right now. If any of you have something to add please do so and maybe we’ll see each other in game ^^
