Too much micromanagement and not truely needed with a good team and team speaks. Also, if I’m correct, you’ll be hogging a lot of download speed from your ISP which could theoretically lag your game, especially with family members using their computers.
As for enemy teams, the really lucky or serious ones will buy a service that can use a delay server.
Sadly, ebay has the games for a greatly reduced price and paying fees would really be a bit of a hassle that I could just use the game myself..
My father plans on taking the game to gamestop tomorrow to see if there is a small chance he could get a refund or some sort of exchange. I do not expect it to happen though.
Soo, the box is opened to where you can see the account cd key? If no, I don’t see why they will not let you return the game.
It doesn’t come in plastic wrap, only a transparent stickler covering the opening part of the box that can be peeled off and easily reattached to make it look unopened.
Plus, on the gamestop website they state that they do not accept PC download games for refunds.
Well. I have a friend who really wanted the game but couldn’t get a ride until a few days later. I decided to be generous one day and get the game for him from the shop but sadly I could not get in contact with him before he got the game himself.
So now I have an unopened GW2 case. I do not believe that the company will take refunds on downloadable PC games (I tried that before with a RIFT box I didn’t actually need..) so I was wondering on how I could get my 65 bucks back somehow.
I saw Defektive.
Then I thought of that “Captain Hammer” build.
And then the “Mr. Freeze” build.
I tried both, and it felt so much fun to try something made out of the usual routine even though I felt much weaker then the builds that work.
I’ve tried my own kinds of builds. Confusion bunker Mesmer, Phantomtank Mesmer, Axemancer stacking bleed..It is quite fun to do it but at the same time I feel like I’m not playing seriously since I’m not using what works/
I am trying to find an outside build that does work out for me though. It’d take a while for me to come up with something.
Only for arenas.
For Capture Points though..I believe 6v6 is a perfect number. 5v5 requires too much coordination that most pugs can’t handle, 8v8 is chaotic.
Seeing as how a Goalie’s entire job is to defend against Offensive Players of all levels, their opinion on what their own Offensive Players are doing wrong/should be doing to beat the opposing Goalie is extremely valid.
You want to beat a Goalie? Ask a Goalie how they get beat. Want to beat a Mesmer? Ask a Mesmer how they get beat. Ask them what frustrates them and what tactics counter their playstyle.
Makes perfect sense actually.
There is a difference between telling an offense what they should be doing if they make a mistake or to pick up a strategy for the team (Though that’s usually left to either coach or other offense.), and telling the offense to re-read the entire book of offensive soccer tactics.
If you want to tell a person to “L2P” You have to usually be more specific or you end up telling them to “L2P whatever role you’re doing cause you’re terrible at it.” as opposed to “Learn about how mesmer clones work so you could stop casting it out of range and no clones pop up thus you can’t use any secondary abilities.”
Plus, learn to play is more of a rude term, as it’s telling you to learn to play in general, which means “everything you do in a role sucks.” At worse, it means learn to play the game, MMOs, or whatever. So many arguments could’ve been avoided if the OP simply stated “learn to” with whatever afterwards instead of L2P in every single one of his posts -2.
ok lets use baseball as a better example because i think your wrong.
a catcher tells a pitcher how to play because he knows what a pitcher is capable of. even though a catcher is not a pitcher.
so no you do not need to be in somones shoes to know how they walk sorry i just dont agree with you. and every coach in the world will also. many coches never played the game but know how it should be played.
and dont worry about my attitude your wrong on that also.
but ty for your opinion i hope you look past my so called attitude and realize with the evidence i stated you dont need to play all 8 classes to understand them.
A catcher and a pitcher play different roles in a game. The only way the pitcher would honestly take a catcher’s advice is if that catcher was a pitcher himself or he has a godlike throw. Honestly. If you’d really wish to prove your analogy right over Sprawl’s or mine, you have to put yourself in the shoes of another role and see how that works out for you.
In other words, go be an engineer, a necro, something else. If you truthfully can overpower the populace yet again with your understanding of all of them then perhaps you may actually have a say in what to teach. You’ve taught people that they should keep at range from Warriors (As simple information that is..) Now teach warriors how to get up close to other classes without reliance on BR.
Also, you constantly call me “wrong” on opinionated beliefs. Sprawl made his analogy and you consider my interpretation wrong and says that he agrees with you (When you should never be putting words in anyone’s mouth.), thus calling yourself right. Your temperament has been shown throughout the entire forums in which you don’t listen to anyone but yourself and those who agree with you. Such a mindset gives you an entitled belief that you’re superior than everyone else and no one would be as smart or “awesome” unless they bow to you and accept you fully. That’s not how you teach a person to play a game and help this so-called metagame.
Seeing that you will not accept opinions especially when a majority has been arguing with you and how you’re acting rather then your post (showing how your post structure is worded.) I’ve decided to label the thread un-negotiable. It’s like watching a person wish to get into the video game industry to make an “innovative” game when they don’t know the first step, yet continue to say they will do it and it will be massive and awesome. You just can’t talk them out of it without a fight and even then it’s hopeless and they still go in guns blazing armed with an idea and nothing else.
L2P ppl its hat easy msg me in game if you need help i help everyone.
if you just L2P im sure u will be fine in this game. like i said if you need help about your role in the game i can help you. just whipser me in game and you will get good at it and have more fun then you wont be complaining so much
I appreciate that you’re attempting to help people out, but the way you approach is what is causing you bad flak. People are attacking you because of your structure. What does helping people since day one of the game have to do with personality? Perhaps you may have had a different approach to them but your current approach now is..well..sickening in my opinion.
Regardless of how you’re wishing to help people, your words come out as “You’re an idiot at this game and need to learn to play. Since you’re not good and need to learn to play you should whisper me and I will teach you how to play my way.”
Personalities can change on will. I can go from being calm and as respectful as I can be to downright snarky and rude should I choose to because I’m typing all of this. It’s how my post structure is worded out. I don’t use abbreviations as much as the next guy to show I mean business and take patience with how I type and reread my wording to try my best to make sure it isn’t taken the wrong way. I don’t put opinions into truths by saying you’re wrong or “You’re the person that needs to L2P”.
playing only one class and talking about balance is like a goalie telling the offense to l2p.
good analogy bro. im glad you are finally agreeing with me because everyone know the golie understands the offense better then the rest of the team.
hence the reason its so hard for the offense to score in soccer (football for the EU readers)
instead of the goalie pretending to be good at anything other then golie he l2p his role on the team perfect and then learns how best to counter everyone else.
immagine if a goalie qq that the goal was to big or the ball was to small ? ppl would laugh at him and tell him to learn to play.
or immagine if the offense said they goalie spot is to op they need to make the goal bigger or the ball smaller so they score more? ppl would laugh at them and tell them to learn to play
ty sprawl glad your on my side.
Except in this one case. In here you’re wrong and simply putting extra words into Sprawl’s mouth. Let me emphasize:
-The goalie is a goalie, not offense
-A goalie who has been a goalie all his life should not be telling the offense to “learn to play.” and taken seriously.
-If another offense that was better than the “faulty” offense told him to “Learn to Play.” THEN it would be a much more appreciated term.
-The goalie was never in the offense’s shoes. He should keep his mouth shut and have a more constructive chat about it later on instead.
-You’re a mesmer, telling everyone else to L2P their classes despite not having been in their shoes (regardless of who they are or what they’re complaining about.) You’re the goalie telling an offense (Let’s say dagger/focus Necro or Double Axe Warrior) to L2P despite not having been in their shoes.
You can tell anyone to L2P, but you risk it being either an acceptable jab or a downright elitist remark depending on who you are, what you’ve played, and whether or not you’ve had experience with the person’s current ideas.
@Breakin: I understand he didn’t mean it to be as offensive, but it comes out as offensive because of his structure of the posts. In Frankenstein, Elizabeth’s speech to the Jury claiming that Justine was a kindhearted goodwilled person instead caused her execution to happen because the structure of her speech made her seem ambitious, ruthless, and deep-down uncaring.
I think your a bigger idiot than the poster, common sense alludes you.
A skilled pvper doesnt need to tell anyone how good they are, they know it balls to bones.
A great pvper doesn’t pick the most OP classes in a game, pretend to be ignorant as to why those classes are OP and then tell everyone else to L2P.
NO they pick classes that are considered Underpowered and perform better than anyone else could with that class. If they choose to pick an OP class for whatever reason they don’t deny the fact that they are OP. A great pvper always knows when they picked something OP because it is so much easier than what it usually takes to gain victory.
It is the same reason why people who are born rich swear they earned it, because no one wants to believe they just got lucky, or the deck was stacked in thier favor.
I was barely talking about what makes a person a great PvPer (Moreso good player), just that the OP has a condescending attitude even though he states wishes to better the community in one of his posts. Instead it’s a case where he pretty much says he is better then everyone else and tells everyone to L2P in every single one of his posts..
I’m not saying he is, just that regardless if he is or isn’t he should not be acting in such an attitude that is sure getting flak from everyone else.
Like I said, my post was aimed at the poster and his style, not the post itself. All these comments within three pages all happened because of how he has acted. If it was his post in a better style (Like, saying that people should cope with what we have, that arguing on forums usually gets us nowhere after a monthly update.), it would at least be more constructive.
P.S: If you’ve read “Fourth” as his number 4, I mean the forum user Fourth..first page bottom post.
(edited by Oracle Fefe.5078)
This has gone on for far too long.
SAt, you’ve bought up good points on your post. Yes, people should learn to cope with imbalances or cheapness. I personally believe no one gets anywhere by complaining and if they want to become better they have to go with the flow of the game (Despite it being against them) and figure out ways to defeat a particular class through strange means (I enjoy most of Defektive’s builds for such a case of originality.). People should “fail better” in a sense and in my opinion.
However, the way you presented your point is flame-war worthy and shows absolutely no modesty or humbleness. It was that fact which caused many people to not only disagree, but call you out on your other posts. L2P is not mean in your regards, but in actuality you’re beckoning people to reply back because you’re belittling them. You constantly show no modesty and an extreme prideful arrogance by continuing to tell people to go to you as if you’re the messiah that will lead people out of some dark age, or even someone sneak-advertising to get “popular” with the masses for some sort of likes or subscribers or +1s.
Fourth is right. The only info you’ve actually shared that actually concerns game strategy is to keep distance from a melee class (As if new players didn’t already know that..) and time enemies CDs.
Alongside that, you’ve constantly been snarky or downright elitist to people who have disagreed with you right from the getgo. One of your posts states that you’re fine with people disagreeing with you but then later on say “some ppl have to QQ instead of L2P.”
If you truly want your word to go out to the populace and change up mindsets, you have to show at least a form of respect in your posts. L2P and QQ terms are usually, if not always, disrespectful. You can tell a person to learn about something, but the terms you are using can really beckon a person to just come and argue with you especially if they do not know you. Make videos also even as they better show who you are as a player rather than simple talking and pics.
In the AC3 community there are two guys who aren’t quite the humblest of people, but they make videos and good points and they are well known and usually respected. They know when certain words could be taking it too far past the line between “acceptable” and “elitist”.
Tl;dr: Yes, I’m attacking you and your post structure. I’d suggest to stop using derogatory terms to “help” people. If you really want to help, be tolerant, respond to things they say with a calm tone, offer to “pm” only once, in bold, in your starting post instead of telling random people that if they arent good pm you. If you really really want to help, start a playlist of tutorials, howtos, or general info on a video site or a guide/infographic on a forum. Trust me, you’ll be doing more good with that for both the game and you as a player.
The problem with the sharks isn’t just the sharks on ruins. It’s shark + player (usually Mesmer or Thief but any class) on ruins.
Hell, in my sPvP times when I was going for a win. I’d cap node quickly with Mesmer abilities and I could never lose it. Even when a team of 5+ came in I usually survived long enough to make a difference or reinforcements of one or two came in and we defended the point easily.
Obviously, when it comes to computer controlled AI for one player it’s a giant handicap for the one without em. And 3+ sharks means you’re not facing one player and a shark, but one player with equal skills as you (in a perfect world) and 3+ sharks with the ability to hit massive and make you bleed along with the futility of getting the cap (Won’t really know your underwater skills so well, necro minions disappear, reinforcement, cant fire cannon there.) People didn’t like it one bit and even detest that all spvp servers have it.
To be honest, I would’ve preferred 6v6, as an uncoordinated 5s team seems too small and leads to giant disadvantages if one person is missing.
Locking players in wouldn’t work, that would just encourage them to afk.
Honestly I dont think it’s that they removed one leg, but rather they crushed it to be very minuscule in comparison to the other roles and even incorporated it into the other roles so much that going full support would be kittening your team.
Support chars need more then just regeneration and random boon giving to be competitive.
They need to have more weapon type-abilities (Perhaps the ability to switch them out of combat to one focusing on attack a la most of the ones we have today, or a defensive one?) And perhaps extra abilities you won’t find on any class. How about a support water ele giving everyone in proximity one stack of a boon able to cleanse conditions (such as immo, 10 stacks of bleeding at once, poison below 50% hp, etc.) when they activate a certain ability or someone is killed in their proximity? Maybe a guardian who can swap places with someone whose hp is below 40% or has three conditions on them.
Honestly, I don’t like the constant stealth in-battle especially with Shadow Refuge which is basically restarting a fight or getting away from one. Having no stealth detection allows stealth classes to always get the edge without a counter.
Of course, I have found it to be easier using a profession that has a changing autoattack. I use my axe war and look at my abilities to see if I hit something invisible.
Server update soon.
I believe warriors need a tuneup vs conditions and on banners.
Chilled, Cripple, and Immo destroy nearly all builds especially Axe. They have no good ways to cure conditions either and usually must trait for removing immo or cripple on heal or take a 45 sec signet. Evis may also need a look at in my opinion cause I tend to get a “miss” even though I could pretty much see the opponent touch the axe.
On the other side, Haste needs to be looked at if not Hundred Blades itself.
Honestly, some people will see thieves as a whole as a bit annoying, since they are given abilities that give too much for what they are worth.
Dagger thieves have extreme high damage gap closers, evasion bleeds, and a good damaging cloak which they can activate multiple times in a battle. Sword thieves get a cripple on their auto attacks, immobilize/stunbreak/condition removal/teleport on 2, a stunlock attack on 3. Pistol thieves are granted full bleed on any side (Compare to shortbow rangers) and three to four consecutive dazes that are very fast. Shortbow thieves get three to four consecutive evades while crippleing a target (Compare to shortbow rangers) and a medium ranged teleport.
For utilities, they have Shadow Refuge which grants them very long stealth, a bit of healing, and teamstealth for a 60 second cooldown (In other words, once-twice per battle or once every one or two skirmishes.), a stealth while casting a stomp, and permanent 25% in movement speed. Their elites either summon pets or freeze you for a split second (Which with fast DD damage makes it near-unmitigated unless you catch your health meter going down in the blink of an eye.)
When downed, thieves throw a bouncing dagger that cripples enemies. They can teleport away from being downed which, with the dagger makes you have to dodge roll to get to them in time or else they will vanish wasting another downed attempt.
Hell, when they dodge, they lay down an aoe field that cripples and bleeds and their shadowstep can deal damage, fears for longer then necros, spins stronger then a warrior, and gives more buffs than a mesmer.
They will be considered unfair in the eyes of quite a lot. I believe the main problem would be how initiative is covered however. A more balanced option which doesn’t make it seem like all thieves spam a single button would be more pleasing to the eye. Perhaps a combo system for a few skills that enhance other’s effects?

Could you explain more about this program and how you created it? It is very interesting to see this come around.
I’m more of a PvP guy, but I feel that the scepters would be much more interesting to me if Ether Clone ended up actually confusing and giving you a clone that cast the same rotation but with confusion at the third attack.
It’s not just items but traits.
The mesmer traits for confusion are all spread out, shatter build or not. You have three trees which support confusions along with dueling which has a good 25 minor trait for confusion.
I don’t think the other classes can even get as much confusion done, sadly.
I have a low score because I do most of the point capping for peeps but at the same time I rack in the sustained points too.
No. But I would like the idea of somehow transmuting PvE sets to PvP instead.
As long as stats arent changed.
lol, more people trolling.
When you can escape any fight it don’t matter how well you predict. I will reset the fight until I land it.
Shrugging off anyone who is telling you that your theories are wrong because they are just empty opinions as trolls is quite immature.
Yes, I believe thieves are very powerful too. Anet will not do anything if you sit down and tell them that over and over. You’ll have to show proof, and you’ll have to come up with a small solution even.
I think the moa skills should be updated (And not root you besides for two) and have an instant tooltip that shows what each one does.
A normal moa peck.
A little moa dash
A skill that grants regeneration and protection
Repetitive pecking which roots you.
Moa Daze which roots you.
Maybe give access to a heal. And then it makes knowing the moa skills more beneficial to the victim.
Perhaps it’s because there isn’t an incentive to keep on playing. It’s fun at first, but cosmetic gear that isn’t even colored the way you want and will take many ranks at a slow grind really doesn’t do it for some people to convince them to play for fun to get to the next coolest thing.
It’s as if you’re stuck with an endgame for spvp. You do the same thing over and over again while its still fun and soon it gets repetitive, you feel its a bit unfair X class wins easily, you feel your class Y just can’t be played the way you want to play him and it just gets to you.
An elementalist can save mist form when he is downing an enemy. I’ve done it before.
However, I do agree that downed state is making it hard to win unbalanced fights. More numbers practically means a much more greater chance of winning despite skill.
@Ayde. I’ve seen people win against others while being outgeared by them. World of Warcraft is not the only example of this either.
Kronos, your second post is taking quite an immature turn honestly.
This game isn’t an FPS. Milliseconds of reaction time is impossible due to the slight delay of a skill activating when you press it and many other elements being used against you (Checking your conditions, health, cooldowns, how many enemies there are, lookin at your opponents animations.)
The destealth lag is real due to the bug in the system that renders a stealthed character much slower then you would expect. From the time you get backstabbed by a rogue they are still stealthed and can get a few extra hits.
Ever considered using double mace to bring an extra daze and Adrenaline stun that lasts quite a while? It really ups single target CC by a landslide (And also gives them weakness as a normal condition.) but it does chip away your ability to burst.
Perhaps they may have had more total points then your team. I count 1405 on their end.
So, apparently zerging and killing people yet still having a tie means they have the advantage.
Please don’t offer bads the ability to spam an exectution move that was designed to be used when an enemy is low hp as a finisher from 100% again and think they are good because they can. Yes it is a little odd that immob is counted as a condi and not a cc, and yes quickness can cause ruthless burst on classes that run it. However, most quickness builds are also put on glass cannons, so if you time your dodge/condi remover, you can punish them while everything of theirs is on CD.
Apologies if the heartseeker comment was strange in any sort of way. It was just a random suggestion since thieves have been getting the nerfbat at the moment.
My main gripe with Immob, besides for not being an actual stun, is that stability does nothing against it and it is very popular and widely used. Melee classes that don’t focus on something akin to bulls rush + HB 100 to 0.
My main issue with Quickness is that it is combined with either a stun or a condition.
-If I choose to pack two offensive utilities and stun break OR cc removal then I risk Immob/Stun respectively and get 100-0ed.
-If I choose to pick one offensive utility and both, then I kitten my own playability in either single or multi-target CC. I guess I’ll have to play as that for now. Have to admit this is a venting thread too.
To be fair, the classes I play are Mesmer and Warrior with a bit of Ele.
Throughout the games, Immobilize not being counted as a stun weakens melee classes greatly. It’s akin to a stun, only cannot be cured without using actual condition removers. Either it should be counted as a stun or leaping skills should still be allowed use (Or have it be unusable, because wasting a cooldown when you think you can finally do it is beyond annoying.) Stability doesnt work either.
As for quickness, it has been causing too much burst to be within the game for the classes that can use it. Thieves and Warrior specs have been seen with it most constantly and when someone surprise entries you it really feels like a kick in the groin. I don’t suggest anything for quickness, but if something were to nerf it then perhaps thieves could get a bit more in the HS role again.

My suggestion for an actual “Our Time is Now” Trailer and possible commercials.
Five commercials or trailers. Each one for each race detailing their races history and future goals. Then, at the end the respective character for each race says (Our time is now.) And the camera zooms into their eyes and then zooms out to reveal them with the other races as they get ready to battle Zhaitan.
For example. In the charr version Rytlock could be explaining their past and the fighting in Ascalon. He would be detailing the ghosts of ascalon while fighting with them and saying how their just may be some larger threat somewhere else. As he breaks through/blasts a wall in, it gets silent as he is with multiple Charr and states “Our time is now.” Then the camera zooms into his eyes, zooms out and shows him roaring as he charges into a fight with the undead and Zhaitan.
@Oracle and others who like w/l ratio: i understand your point, i think i know the feeling of being “quite invincible”. but what if i tell you that, for example, half of your victories you were carried by a 2-3-guildy premade and you did only a little part of their strategy? do you think you belong the winning still? do the w/l ratio become more valuable or less valuable?
8v8 is too random to give him some “importance”. maybe anet did wrong to put a win ratio to the whole class instead of torney part only. but at the moment, without a kind of ladder, w/l ratio is useless.
Then it would be practically the same as League of Legends. Sometimes you carry, sometimes you get carried.
I find w/l to be more of a pride thing. Play 100 games, look at how many you won, and smile. I understand there is no ladder system and that some of the games I did absolutely horrible or trying out a new spec, but not every game I have been carried.
All of the Battle of Kyhlo games I either manned the treb, secured clocktower and runway to my treb, defended it, and repaired it with portal exploit (I know, but that is a different topic.)
All of my Forest of Niflhel games I rushed to henge or mind (Provided someone just comes too for no reason..) and then head for keep and survive as long as possible, dropping down time warp and either null field or feedback for my team even.
All of my Raid on the Capricorn games I secured ruins being the fastest to get there (Spear helps against sharks, and phantasms do good damage.) And stay bored making sure the ruins are never, ever taken. I’ll admit its mainly my team capping the second point to help out the win.
All of my Legacy of Foefire games I rush graveyard, then rush to enemy keep to use phantasms to blow down the walls as I cripple or immobilize enemies trying to get somewhere else. Sometimes I initiate teamfights in graveyard.
I already made my tasks and sometimes they work, don’t, or aren’t needed. But, if I am willing to do all of that for the team I am on then what of the other team when I get switched?
Kyhlo means that the treb I protected and used for so long is now against me.
Niflhel is alright, I can understand the change as there isn’t too much lost besides for the monster kills.
Capricorn means that the point I have been protecting all game long was used for the enemy team, and capping it would be difficult mid game.
Foefire means I broke down my own wall, and secured the graveyard for my enemies.
pouring concrete into the water to equalize the ground ( ), put flag on the top of the ship: best map ever.
To be honest this is the best possible option. It’d make this essentially a better Kyhlo in which whoever controls mid controls the cannons.
@Shukran:
There is actually. If you go to your go to mists PvP tab you will see the # of games played with each class listed out, and if you select another listing you can see # of games won. This, to me, is my own pride. To have a loss because I helped the other team literally win really hurts in that special area.
Plus, I do not know if there is a “win” bonus. I believe there is, and to work hard for that win bonus only to lose sight of it because I was put on the other team really gets on my nerves. When you had hard teamfights with you constantly getting downed, then rezzing again from killed players as you drop time warps and managed to keep a three cap by telling your team where to go…well..Being put on the team you stomped at 490 points for the now enemy team just isn’t fun.
Just two minutes ago, I came out of a game that I should have rightfully won.
I had used my skills on the Blue team to keep hold of the graveyard. Our team three capped and I initiated multiple teamfights with multiple enemies to make sure the points stay safe. We were going to win. I saw it. 499 to 36
At the same time, auto balance happened, RIGHT WHEN it hit 499. The moment I saw the screen load my jaw dropped, as I was on the red team. We lost. It will now go on the record of games played and not games won. I turned the game off and started to write this topic.
Arenanet, give players a bonus for being put on the other team. Hand them some sort of free glory. If they lose, hand them a loss forgiven somehow or something similar to “doesnt count”. Anything is better then taking a loss and having it go down and sometimes pissing us off when such a thing happened at the worst moment (A few seconds after the end of the game.)
Actually, what you mentioned is a certain build which has you focus on getting phantasms up. I call it SPSS, threeswords and a pistol.
The plus side is the damage that you can do from it is great. The downside? In sPvP it is chaotic and you’re easily able to lose your target especially if cloaking is covered. Your targeting may just go wonky and target a pet..You have no staff for teamfight potential or GS for control..
I find that build fun, although it is one of the ways to play Mesmer.
It is nice to know that this isnt just a problem for me. Perhaps this is something that could be looked at by Anet.
If there was a spectator mode, then the mode COULD have Red/Blue dyes.
However, for the people in the game, I believe it should be their choice whether they want to see the red/blue dyes or not. To be honest, it’s easier to remember a person by their odd colors rather then their name.
To be honest there are some smart warriors who can outtrick a paranoid player. If they use hammer then they have knockdowns which you will likely break a stunbreaker on it. They can Bulls Charge you while Frenzying and go HB to pretty much take a chunk out of your health. They can use GS Charge then Stomp to get you to waste a dodge.
GS/Hammer warriors are the stunlockers. Unless you have many stunbreaking utilities (Which means you are kittening yourself usually) Expect to be hurt. A lot.
It’s utter chaos when there are mesmers, rangers, thieves with thief ulti, necros, etc..
As my mesmer, I find my builds primary damage output in summoning phantasms to deal damage to my opponent as I survive. However, it seems like when I target someone, they can disappear at any moment, replace themselves with a pet or clone that I even know is such, and then I realize most of my damage output is becoming low.
Even in a teamfight, it’s hard to focus on the person I wish to target. At any moment it looks like my targeting is just going to jump from one person to the other when I least expect it and I have been wondering how to counteract this.
Apologies, this is mainly just a little vent thread for me. not something asking for a change.
