We have more combo-finishers than anyone, makes up for lack of fields.
Started a mesmer today and I though of something funny you could possibly put in traits for confusion. " Confused " whenever affected by confusion. I know confusion builds can be overpowered in the right hands but this would be funny to watch >.<
Aggro is balanced out between toughness, dps, and healing power. Tough luck getting some1 else to get aggro if you got the highest stats :/
Just remember the 5 Ds, dodge-duck-dip-dive-dodge(lol). Dodging or using an evade attack(too bad warriors only get one though) can help more than you think.
+1 to the op, can autocast signets out of combat, why not FGJ x.x
IF this was changed because of complaining about fgj voice spam, why not make it like Save Youselves XX% of the time? no voice just a sound effect. Or maybe a slider for voices. Wouldn’t mind getting rid of “I could out run a Centaur” spam on my human. x.x
Side note if it does get changed back, could you make it auto-castable while spamming a button. Didn’t seem to work even though shouts don’t interrupt anything.

Elite Turret – 6 barrels of pure destruction, it can be player controlled but the player cannot move while using it. Not 100% accurate because of the rapid rotation of the barrel. Piercing bullets.
While under control of AI the turret fires basic rounds at a moderate speed. Under the control of a player it has 4 modes.
- basic rounds, same as AI shooting ,100%dmg
- Incendiary rounds, slower speed 50% chance to cause burning per hit, buring proc lost after 800m, 110%dmg
- Crystal (fragmentation) rounds,slightly slower speed and 50% chance to cause bleeding, 50% dmg
- Light rounds, top speed but does not carry the bullet as far, 75% dmg
3(?) second change between ammo types, XXX# of shots, XXX second cooldown
6 on skill bar(1 being shoot, 2-5 being ammo types), Pick up the Gatling gun, cannot change ammo types wile carrying the gun, move at crippled speed. 6 again to redeploy the Gatling gun stand.

you forget perma furry with gs wich can apply more then 20% flat DPS
i’ve tryed today stack furry with GS and i reach at 3 minutes furry stack only from arcing slice spam and signet of rage untill my target died (an champ in fractals)I believe people have tested that out, and even with that, axe DPS comes ahead lol
if you say so, and your axe can bring more then 30k dps in 3 seconds , then i am out of arguments

Yes hb can hit the highest in game but what about your auto attack.? hits about the same as axe but twice(maybe 3x) as slow. I don’t have the highest damage but I can get 21k dmg in 3 seconds.
That is not fun, condition that takes % of your health and you cant even heal it back. . . . .
Would rather have poison on top of agony, that way you can atleast remove the poison to heal.
I was in fractals today shouting away on my warrior to heal people, it usually tics for around 2k but when we all had agony I noticed it was only healing for 1k.
So my question for everyone is does agony work like poison in the sense that it reduces heal effectiveness? I looked at the wiki for agony and it says nothing on this matter.
So what is goin on? # of hits messed up or damage?

axe/mace – high damage from the axe and 18 stacks of vulnerability in 2 seconds. Also <3 #5 with mace offhand
Kinda funny the original eviscerate was nerfed because of people whining about the range. You can see its old range on the warrior page
Perfect back then imo but I don’t think they’ll change it back any time soon -
Axe/mace shout build, awesome survivability and you can stack vulnerability to 20+ in a matter of seconds. Focuses on support but with all the damage modifiers you can get, it makes pretty good damage.
why not run both?
Because you can’t pick “Shouts Heal” and “Banners grants regeneration” in same time

Can someone please tell me what this healing shout is? I’ve looked all through my skills and can’t find anything that removes condition, debuffs, and heals allies in any of the descriptions.
“Vigorous shouts” in the tactics line makes “shouts” heal and as to removing conditions that can be done with “SiO” and/or superior rune of the soldier. Debuff is from “On My Mark”.
Kinda funny you say regen build bu throw banners out the window. Constant regen from banner if it is traited and there is even a heal/regen skill on the purple banner. But like all things in this game they have a downside, if there is a person in your party/vicinity giving regen the banner is basically moot besides the buffs/skills that it gives.
And while constant regen is nice, its sometimes not enough. That is where shouts come in like ChaK was saying. I don’t remember how much heal power I have but my shouts was healing for 2164 hp each in Arah.
I run a build with 3 shouts, regen from signet and adrenaline as well as food.

Corrupted avenger is actually one of the cheaper ones besides ghastly/jotun gs. Ofc you’d need 400 weapon smith to make it instead of buy it. If there was un-soul binding stuff I’d sell the one I made.
All the 100%(or close) crit builds I’ve seen made me think of a debuff/condition. Basically like weakness except normal hits are normal and crits are 50% normal dmg. Weakness is nice but with builds like that, it barely does anything. Maybe they can put in a trait for warrior that switches regular weakness with that.
also, grandmaster trait in defense is spiked armour. 5sec retaliation when crit(15sec cd)

Haven’t played much with the sword but all the weapons look light if that makes sense. Like for the greatsword, I would rather have a long and powerful strike that could cleave a person in two. but sadly no, we get to swing greatswords like it was a feather.

Recently in the Holiday event in Black Citadel I noticed I was only hitting 3 mobs, either that or the numbers were stacking. So i was wondering what the max # of targets there is for the mellee weapons, anyone know?
Why hide buffs/utilities?
If your going for a cannon warrior, I’d say play like your thief. Probably have the same defense. Regen signet is good at lower levels.

Other than that you just have to know the mobs ai, know when to dodge, etc.
Also if your in Snowden drifts, watch out for Icebrood wolves. They can be annoying.
I know, I like to play with ui off but I cannot use inventory or any of the other windows besides the map
Weapon swapping at the right time is part of a players skill, it can do more than stack might(believe thats what your wanting it for. sorry if I’m wrong -_-;)
Use what you have, I believe traits are different on each class. It is not something to be “fixed”
GS #5 is good it my opinion, good gap closer and decent attack if it hits, time/aim it right though, don’t rely on the auto tracking stuff. Could also use it with the number 4 skill for a 3hit combo that cripples
Haven’t used bull’s charge so I cannot comment, but do the people you are using it on have stability?
Thick skin gives 200(?) toughness at full hp, not great but can shave off some of the damage.
Basic ui invisible but you can still open inventory, map, etc. I’ve already learned where my skills are and it would be nice to get immersed in the game, not the ui.
Could have a see through(but still visible) version of the health pool/party window so you can still heal/support at the right times. And/or have it like chat, only pops up when it changes.

No it hasn’t, I got 20 levels(60-80) before they changed cooking a while back. Meh, doesnt really matter when they changed it, still sad. Less reasons to craft now too v_v

I remember leveling my char 60-80 with cooking a while back but now I’m hearing you can only get 10 levels maxing out a crafting discipline. Did it change somewhere along the line or have I been hearing the wrong thing?
Infinite Light is the sword i am going for. Rather basic looking sword, cool effect though.
I believe i heard dolyaks regen was a flat 80 hp per tick, I have not confirmed that yet though.
Capes was a joke but yes they would be nice to have in gw2

On the other hand i understand that the warrior is in the highest bracket of health and armor and that protection is an extremely powerful boon
^You just pointed out why warriors don’t have protection, yes I can understand why it would be nice but at the same time it would be overpowered because of our hp/armour as it is now
I also agree banners need some love but your ideas don’t seem right either(same with signet of precision)

@boon removal- there is a sigil for it but as a class mechanic I say NO. . . warriors are a front line soldier, not a tactician. (if that makes sense -_-;)
Self-roots are meant to be drawbacks of using the skills, use it at the wrong time and your screwed, plus it would be kind of hard to swing a great sword wildly like that without planting your feet
New skill idea sounds like an Elementalist skill o.o;
And “sacrifice skills” what are those? :o
I didn’t know what to call them but that made sense. You can make the bone minion blow up for more damage and you can teleport to the wurm but you kill it in the process so you are essentially sacrificing them for different purposes.
lets make it a skill which deserves the name “reanimator”:
every time a minion dies, there is a 33% chance another one will reappear to take his place to his masters bidding.
+ 1 for this, makes sense and is practical. I can see the cool down being somewhere around 30+ seconds though but honestly I wouldn’t mind. Also another thing is “sacrifices”(?) like the bone minions and wurm shouldn’t work with it unless they are killed, not sacrificed(?).
I got “Ogden’s Boots” the other day. Exotic boots that got me 4 g on the tp.
Had some awesome runs today until this last one, everything started hitting like a truck. Any idea whats goin on? I have full clerics gear with some regens/shouts heal so I can usual tank most damage but stuff started hitting me for a fifth+ of my hp at times x.x
what does it mean by shouts healing? Is it a trait? I cant’ find a trait called shout healing

Not a huge fan of condition builds but I might try this out, looks fun. BTW do you try to stay at range in dungeons or fight face to face?
Please whine about ranger in the ranger forum, and warrior is not op. We just do the best we can with what we got.

One problem i see if it was introduced is how would it work is things hit from the side, behind, or even above? Would be awesome it it worked for whatever is infront of you but that must be a pain in the kitten to code
Running with a regen/shout build atm and I was wondering if the crit damage from berserkers would out weigh the toughness of knights. I heard a while back that you need a ton of armor to get a good amount of damage resistance so I thought it might be better to get a lil bit more damage.

I would love to see something like in Warhammer that I could turn off my fellow players spell effects. It made the game so much more fun only seeing my own.
Totally agree, would lighten the load that your computer has to render(?) as well.
I know triple chop hits harder and the first two parts hit faster but I haven’t seen any math so far.
