Jokes aside from the topic title… It’s been 5 years now and we still can’t sit in chairs? I made a topic like this several years ago and I’m upset to see when I’ve come back from a 2 year or so break and sitting in chairs, benches, sofa’s, stools, crates and even ledges is still not a thing that exists.

Why is this Anet? Several other games allow players to sit on furniture with the /sit command when they’re standing near said furnishings. I think it’s about time we got this ability too.

I was hit by the most devastating side of Hurricane Harvey. Our house flooded for the first time since ever (some 50+ years). I wasn’t on to even know about this package until I was able to check the forums today because I’ve been busy with trying to move out of our house because it’s totaled.

Honestly at this point I’ve missed a lot of sales and free items but I’m not bitter about missing them. I’m just thankful to be alive.

The point I’m trying to make here is that in the end it’s just digital items. FREE digital items that are only just data in the end. I don’t know what was in or apart of the package, am I bummed I missed it? Yeah. But I wasn’t going to come here to complain about it. I’ve got RL stuff to worry and complain about for the next year and a half while we have to rebuild our house from the ground up.

Ok I went back and checked; Only one story option gets to choose their lineage and that’s the dead sister one. So it’s not available to everyone which is upsetting.

I don’t think there has EVER been an option to choose your lineage as a human. I wish there was but there isn’t. Unless I missed an in game option.

Same as everyone else here. Have all previous Season 3 nodes and cannot purchase the Orrian Oyster Node. You’d think they would have fixed this by now.

As long as inventory space is a monetized asset, this is unlikely to happen.

The same could be said for the dyes and outfits, but they eventually added those to a wardrobe feature to where it could be access account wide across all characters.

I remember purchasing exclusive dyes and outfits from the cash shop and once they added that wardrobe feature and I went to the black lion armorer I ended up with more than one of the outfits I had previously purchased.

But I do support Anet. I buy a lot of things. My main can’t purchase anymore bags unless there’s no cap limit on how many bags you can purchase.

And as I said before it’s tedious when you want to have the tonics and clothes on all characters without having to plop them in the bank to transfer them to use on another character.

Endless Tonic and Town Clothes Tab

So I’m one of those people that likes to collect endless transformation tonics and I have a few favorite endless town clothes but I have a problem… They are taking over my bank space!

Not only that but I want to take these tonics/clothes with me however bag space is also a problem as well as wanting to use the same endless tonics/clothes on multiple characters without having to store them in the bank to transfer them over and over and over again.

You’ve done it with dyes, wardrobes, and outfits; could it be possible to make an account wide collection tab that unlocks tonics when you use them the same way you unlock miniatures and dyes?

You already have it so that the first use prevents the tonic from being sold again, so why not alleviate some bank and bag space by making a tonic tab!

So I’m doing the Into the Labyrinth Season 2 story and I’ve gotten all of my allies back, reached the center of the maze and am confronted by a legendary Mordrem Predator.

The problem though is that my allies are doing nothing during the fight except following me around. Is this supposed to happen or is it considered a bug? Because there is an achievement to finish Into the Labyrinth in 20 mins, and it’s taken me just 5 mins to get this thing down to 96% health.

So my bank is filling up and I want to do some cleaning. I just want to know with all these Trophy items like the Mistward Trophies that count towards Achievements; Do I need to keep these? Or am I good selling them?

I know there are some trophy items that say they are only good for a collection item and that it’s safe to sell those… but I’m unsure about all the trophy items that don’t say this.

Also things from past Living World 1 like the Beacons, Focusing Crystal, ect.

No one wishes to sit in chairs?! Or on bar stools?! Or… Or sleep in comfortably blanketed and dressed beds?!

Yes. The cycle will be faster than real time. Events and monster spawning will change based on the time of day. Centaurs might attack a camp at dawn, and ghosts haunting an ancient battlefield might only be visible at night. Currently, the cycle lasts 2 hours with 80 minutes of day and 40 minutes of night, but this is subject to change before release.

Except Half that stuff didn’t even make it in.. The ghosts haunting an ancient battlefield may only be visible at night? If that were the case Orr would be deadly beyond belief at night and not near as dreadful during the day. Instead.. Orr is as it is.. at ANY time ingame..

I hate getting my clothes filthy by sitting on a dirty un-mopped floor in a tavern… I also hate having to choose the carpet to tell a good story instead of that luxurious red pillow embroidered chair. I also despise how those three plush couches sitting in the nobles house serve no purpose other than to long for the yearning of lying upon them because I can’t even get around the coffee table unless I jump over it.

Honestly ArenaNet.. What do you take us for? Savage Barbarians who must do all sorts of acrobatic moves before we can sit down and have an actually comfortable and peaceful rest?

Well I say you are the perpetrator! Not allowing our weary feet the rest they need unless we opt for a hard stone cold floor or termite infested wood slabs you call wood inlays! Nor will our bodies ever know to true and beautiful sleep that is lying upon a bed… unless we shove one of the Orphans out of their top bunk cot or “misplace” an injured man to take his spot upon the wondrous hospital bed of which has drawn curtains at our disposal (Protip: These curtains.. they do not work.)

I DO want the reward for first timers for completing the clocktower. But Sadly.. this guide; while it made it seem easy and simple, is quite the opposite. I’ve spent about 5 hours+ trying to get to the top and only once did I manage to get close to the second chest. It’s sad that I can’t just let other people do it for me.

Oh well.. Hopefully they add a new jumping puzzle next year with the same rewards.

The Candy Corn Cob needs an alternative obtaining method. Some people were not playing last year and missed out on hoarding Candy Corn.

Honestly I thought this might be like Zephyr Sanctum where you have a chance from the fortunes to get a Gold Fortune Scrap. Why not make it to where the Personalized Trick or Treat bags have a very rare chance of dropping a Candy Corn Cob?

Can you upload the Mad King and Blood Prince interaction voice overs to your Sound Cloud? I love how they banter and bicker at each other and would like to be able to hear it all year round in some form or way!

The problem I have with Liadri is that I’m color-blind, have severe anxiety and I’m a bit of a claustrophobic (And yes it’s possible to have a panic attack due to claustrophobia in a game.) Laugh at it all you want and call it a joke; but it’s real.

All the other bosses in Gauntlets, save for the Four pirates and Dead-Eye, were a breeze for me but I still had that slight fear of not being able to zoom my camera out all the way like I usually do. However Liadri is the bane of my disorders.

The fact that she’s broken up into two phases, in a tight little bubble, where I can’t even see the AoE circles just sets me off into a panic attack.

Then lets bring on the stress factor of having wasted over 50 gold to level my mesmer, gear it to the tooth thinking “Dulfy’s guide makes it look like a breeze. I’ll do this on a mesmer.” When technically it is NOT a breeze.

Things you could do to FIX this fight are listed below.

Phase 1 + 2:
Only a Maximum of two Visions of Mortality spawn at a time.
Lift the bubble some so we can zoom out to the max.
Get rid of the Hourglass AoE during Phase 2, instead return it back to like Phase 1.
Make the AoE circles more defined. That grate floor is killing most of us Colorblind people.

A reason I joined GW2, leaving World of Warcraft behind was because of it’s stress free environment where I wasn’t always pressured into getting a rare item, pet, or mount, and it’s challenging, yet easily obtainable achievement system.
Liadri is not challenging.. she’s stressful, depressing, and annoying.

Right now.. I’m planning to leave GW2 for some time to go play Final Fantasy XIV; because from what I’ve played so far of their beta and soon to play in their Early access; It’s more stress-free that GW2 is turning into. :\

The crystals that imprison people need to be buffed with a little more HP and some defense to make this Achieve possible for everyone. I have killed Shatterer about 20+ times and have yet to gain a single point towards this Achieve because it always happens to people right on top of him and they get broken out in one hit. It’s also impossible to do this in the off hours because there are still more than 50 people in the zone on Shatterer on Tarnished Coast Server.

Please make this Achievement more Achievable.

Because the game isn’t built around hoarding 100 or more of one item just to use them all at once.

I would love the idea of having account bound dyes. The introduction of the wallet shows that something like this can be possible.

For those doubting the market; The market would still be there as what has been said before; new players come in regularly. And then you have the introduction of extremely rare dyes which you could only obtain through an event that will not be making a return; such as the Flame and Frost Dyes, which will continue to stimulate the market on the dye end, so long as those who have them unused will sell them.
On most servers though; Dyes are not expensive, so there really is no market for them unless they are the closest to three natural colors: Red, Black, and White.

If this were to be introduced; A reimbursement of duplicate dyes across accounts would be wonderful.

Mounts are not a necessity due to way points, Asura Gates, and speed boosters.

Sorry, the truth can hurt. But hey, they still have a riding broom and sonic tunneler you can pretend are mounts.

I don’t really see the point in this as anyone clicking on an item a million times in recession probably saw the end of his mouse coming.

I’m not trying to be rude; but it’s a feature that’s not necessarily needed if you space out the time of your uses. It’s not like you use a karma booster and it goes away after 30 seconds within the start of your clicking of karma consumables.

It get’s frustrating when you’re buying armor in advance of your levels and you mouse over one and go “Wow nice stats!” And purchase it. I don’t know about other people but it’s also difficult to tell exotic armor types from their icon unless you mouse over it. And if you’re like me an purchase armor in advance; not only is the “You are too low to use this.” in red but so is the “This is for x armor type only.” which really throws the user off when they’re purchasing armor in advance.

The Title “Emperor” in GW2 is referring to the fable; “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. There was never a fable “The Empress’ New Clothes”. This title is fine as is.

Personal story and race go together. This is probably why this will not be an option. Also all races have the same base speed. Only traits, signets, and buffs increase speed and that is dependent on the profession. Norns just look slower because of their size and animation.

Actually I could see a race change option in the future. There are several options they could pursue to do this. One option could be upon race change you re select all your story modifiers and start off with a brand new slate; only you are what level you were at them time you began the race change.

Well, not completely log out then back in. You can select a character to play and zone in the go back to character select and it will refresh.

I’m talking about for new accounts. You can’t make a character till you select a world to play on.

We are pretty awesome. A friend of mine got his girlfriend into the game, but she ended up starting on a different server cause she couldn’t join us.

Forget this queue thing, just give Tarnished Coast more server space cause we’re so cool.

It’s not the server space that’s the issue; it’s the amount of people on at a time. Once you choose a server as your initial server you can log in and out all you like and still be on that server. But with new characters with new accounts its more difficult to get in due to the lack of a que system.

I am stuck in the same situation that you are. I have a couple of friends that want to play with me (and my other friends), but Tarnished Coast is always full.

This is the same server that my friend is trying to get into! There is usually always at least 3-4 Full servers for America; and Tarnished Coast is one of those.

My friend is trying to get onto Tarnished Coast, this is her first account with GW2 and the server is constantly full. My question is does the server list refresh while you’re staring at it? Or do you have to constantly log in and out to re-obtain an updated list?

I think there should be a que system for new accounts to select their first world to play on.
If someone logs off, then it bumps them up in line to being able to play on the server they want to.

My friend is going on her second week of being unable to play this game since she got it because the server she wants to be on is constantly and almost always full. She’s 17 and with school starting up soon she can’t stay up until the early hours of the morning for a small chance of being able to get onto the server I’m on.

Please do something Anet, I’m seriously loosing hope in you to fix this problem that is a constant thorn to new players.

Would it kill to have a more realistic sounding thunder? It sounds like someone firing a cannon in some places.

I have a lot of friends who are trying to pick up Guild Wars 2 to play on Tarnished Coast with me and for an entire Week now my friend has not been able to make a character to play with me. She’s tried making toons on other servers; ALL of them are full. No new characters can be made with new accounts.

Please address this issues because she’s had the game for a week and two days now and hasn’t been able to play it because of this crap.

Will Humans and Norn ever be able to get red eyes?

As it stands the other three races are able to select red eyes, yet humans and norn can’t. Nothing screams evil on an RP server other than red eyes.. And it’s sad I can’t choose them for an option for my human. Charr, Sylvari, and Asura have almost every eye color that humans and norn have.. yet the human and norn both get shafted on other abnormal eye colors that the other races get.

Are there any plans to add more eye colors exclusive to the Full Make-Over kits?

Daily Activity Achieve is also bugged; Though I’m not sure if Belcher’s Bluff counts as a true activity for a daily.

How much would Black Lion Keys have been for four weeks compared to now if Evon had won?

Is there a reason as to why we can’t name all our pets and have them keep their names despite pet swapping?

I’d really like to name my pets on my ranger and keep their names even when switching them through slots.

I’d much rather be able to stock up on Black Lion keys when they’re cheap to save for something in the future that is Black Lion Chest Exclusive than get cheaper way points which are already cheap by anyones standards for something that lasts only four weeks. At least the Black Lion keys will keep.

Sorry but that’s the most idiotic thing I have ever read on these forums. If anything, BECAUSE of it’s status it SHOULD be dyeable. For example, the way the rainbow coloured/themed boxes of fun colour armour and weapons – that’s how the hellfire gloves could be coloured. I personally would want more orange looking hellfire gloves to match my destroyer staff because right now they’re too yellow.

Good luck with the suggestion, I highly doubt it will happen though because good ideas never seem to end up being implemented by gaming companies – for some reason they just always ignore them >_< I fully support it though, at least you have us willing to listen.

And yet you failed to see my suggestion below that. If you would have read further than that comment you wouldn’t have missed it and completely attempted to torch my statement. The definition of Radiant: radiating or as if radiating light. Light.. Light is white. Not black, green, blue, or purple.

The definition of Hellfire: a place of eternal fire envisaged as punishment for the kitten ed. Fire is and always will be orange, red, and yellowish colors unless mixed with a chemical or powder substance that alters its colors.

Then the suggestion I made that you failed to reach because you seemed so straight forward and obsessed with throwing my comment out the window; They can make new types of armor utilizing the same structure of the Radiant and Hellfire skins and name them something else in order to offer the new colors of these skins. Such as Felfire = Green Hellfire. Gloom Armor = Black Radiant.

Also saying that they can be colored the same way as the boxes of fun is invalid. That’s just a colored hue thrown on your character and set at a certain opacity so that the color seems like it was just painted over you. If you noticed; it takes away some of the better detail of armors.

Radiant is supposed to be white, glowy, and shimmery which embodies a radiant light.
Hellfire is supposed to look fiery, molten, and smokey; which embodies the fires of hell.

I’m pretty sure the Radiant Heavens in which the gods reside are not purple, black, or any other color other than white to take countenance of it’s holy prestige.

And I’m sure the pits of hell don’t look green as I saw someone suggesting Hellfire armor to be able to be dyed green.

Instead of requesting these new armor skins to be dyeable why not suggest new versions of this item to be brought into existance?

For instance a green version of the Hellfire armor could be renamed Felfire.
And a Black version of the Radiant set could be renamed to Gloomy Armor skins.
