Lmfaoooo. I had to laugh at this I’m sorry because something similar happened to me. Friggin’ strict but anyway yeah, the best way I know is probably Crafting like others said, and do some DE’s. Start out on new starters area’s. I don’t think I can re-play this game on an alt even after doing a 100% and I can’t even do that because it gets a lil tiresome.

I have never seen anyone in any MMO so quiet and out the way except for GW2. Was GW1 like this? Yeah we’re basically forced to do DE’s together and sometimes not even so only need peeps for a Champ, but that’s it. We do DE’s and not even say “Good job.” I do but no one says nothing at times and go on about our way or just go off to do other stuff.
I think, and I say, I THINK the reason is because of no one has a specific role or that Holy Trinity stuff. It’s really sad, there is like no community in-game. It’s probably just me but that’s my 2 copper.

I feel like I do well in groups with mace. As for PvP. Don’t mention it for I never PvP.

Amen to this OP. I was just thinking this today when I was fighting Angry spirits, the guy blocked 3 attacks with a shield up as he guarded and I’m like “We don’t have this?”. I also think Shield SHOULD have waaay more defense then it gives us. Even if it’s really bad I still use my shield even though I barely use those 2 skills. It just fits the Guardian look first of all. I won’t use anything else. So yes, please do something with the shields.

Oh yeah, people just do no like Mace on this game do they? xD!
I’m glad someone else used Mace and having an easier time. Then again I’m doing a Tank/support type of build.
I’ma full mace user here on PvE. I’m almost level 40 and have been using it the whole time.
I can get 2-3 higher enemy’s too. The 1-2 1st skills on mace are lovely.~

Yeah it only effects what your sister looks like.
Canthan is an Asian-look I believe. It would be nice if you guys got to choose where you guys came from then in an Expansion the Hero goes to the homeplace and see the sister there again after being retired from the Company [Just an add-on I made] since you never see or hear from your sister again. It was kinda bleh when I seen it on a video, I wanted a better reunion of the sister and reunion so I made my Guardian a orphan now lol.

Quick question: Did GW1 ever add more classes down the line or was they all already just there?

Actually, choosing to save Quinn some people died because they drank from the well. When you walk around the place some townsfolk talk about it.
Honestly, this was a hard one to pick before I deleted my character. I literally stopped here because I hated the Street Rat story till this part lol.
I liked Quinn he was just a misguided soul and got in with a bad crowd, choosing to save others he finally sticks up to em and ratted them out but he dies but did it to save others. :’)

Yea I agree with you are maybe a command saying: /Ping or /Lag or just a tiny icon on the top.

Funny because the only weapon I ever use anywhere is Mace and Shield and I’m probably the only person here who uses it lol and I hate the two combinations in every other MMO but now I love it thanks to GW2 and a different game.
I like spamming mainly 3 skills. I shouldn’t even use the shield because I use the 2 skills rarely but I still like em.
Maybe Guardian’s can use Bows or something to change it up a bit. I do use Staff every now and again but for healing and running lol.
Every other weapon is meh for me for Gaurds.

Withdraw maybe? Idk I only use it to run faster lmao.

The finding about my Parent’s was a great and fun storyline.

People complain about level limit? In GW1 you could only go to level 20. I wanna know what else people did in GW1 all those years of being 20 lol. So I think 80 is a lot compared to that.

Well ok, it’ll never stop, it’s the nature of MMOs, but as one person stated here, people just move on if they happen to buy a console game they don’t like. They put it on the shelf and it gathers dust. No biggie. But with MMOs, the players get so ouraged when it isn’t everything they want or expected. Rest assured, bugs will be fixed, other things will be tweaked and adjusted, but if it isn’t RIGHT NOW, the sky is falling. In offline games the attitude is so different.

If the game upsets and frustrates you that much, just let it gather dust a while, and someday when the mood stikes you, give it another shot. The beauty of non-sub. In GW there were times I’d get bored and would not play for as much as a year. Then I’d start it up and have fun again. No loss.

For real though, I agree with you here.

I play with 20-30 fps, mainly 25, and Reso makes a small change. I can’t play fullscreen coz it’s like 10-15 fps lol. I’m playing on a Laptop with a Processor and GFX card that shouldn’t even be playing. You should see how small my window is to play this game.

Hi an welcome to the game.
Just about everything helps you level here.
Let’s see: Hearts, Dynamic events, Vista’s, exploring new places, don’t forget to mine ores or chop tree’s for some stuff and sell it. It’s a good way to make money here and there, craft, revive people, help others on personal storys. I’m like 10 levels above my Personal Story. xkittenep going other things and leveling over it.

I am very surprised at how much people dislike this game. It’s not the best but it’s not down-right horrible. There are some flaws, we know it but what’s killing me is the Doom&Gloom all over the forums. It’s very refreshing to see people actually like the game and not nit-pick on every little thing. For some, I guess the hype died.
At least you all lasted this long, I get bored of games before I even hit level 10 lol or never a time I reached max level from the generic bullkitten they got.
Offer suggestions on what can be done with the game. Let’s remember it just game out, most MMO’s are rocky in the beginnings. I’m sure we will see a lot of flourished content later on.

Just for fun I guess. I heard Tarnish Coast is the Unofficial RP server.

Well….Crafting is pretty crappy here. I think one of my end-game things is going to attempt crafting again. May help me in the long run. -Shrugs-

When you want to sell something, go to a VENDOR and ALSO open the auction house.

Sell to whichever gives you the most money.

Sell everything, salvage nothing, dont craft.

Thats my recommendation for making money…

My advice: Take things slow and enjoy the game slowly, I felt a little overwhelmed too at first.

You should of looked at videos and stuff before you even got it man lol.

Hmm…Well the Halloween event is coming up so that should give everyone something to do. The holidays are up so I’m sure they will dish out Christmas too, and probably Thanksgiving but sometimes it’s best to move on, and come back when the game updates more stuff…It takes time.

To be honest, I don’t care for weapon switching.
I mean I only use Shield and Mace and staff for Running quick on my Guard. I don’t like the other weapons though. I feel like there should be more variety on skills somewhere down the road for every weapon but that’s my 2 copper.
MMO’s you got tons of skills and you use like 3 of them the entire time others are crap lol. I use all mine here. Either way, I still love my shield and mace in this game so I’m not too bored yet. ~ I have never loved that combo in any MMO. GW2 just sold it for me. <3

Anyway, yeah be careful sometime.
On an Alt I right-clicked twice because I didn’t hear the money jiggle when I bought it.
There needs to be an “Are you sure you want to buy this.” Warning or something.

Just like your typical MMO’s.
Knight and Warrior.
Spect both these classes can do just about the same.
Dunno for Warrior but Guardians heal tons better and have better support.
I think Warrior has those banners you can use, and an Okay heal. If you want reeaaaly good DPS, warrior.
Guardian provides heals, good buffs/boons and Shields for ya. I love Guardian more and leaning towards a Tank build. ^^ I suggest you try Guardian too just so get a feel of it.

Hmm. I think I seen a whip user in this game. It’s in the Syvalrian area.

Yeah, the same ol typical weapons are kinda mundane, so I am all in for whips.

As a Noble Guardian, I sure don’t get paid as much as I thought I would lol.
Anyway I took people suggestions here and the selling mats is the best thing for me so far.

GW2 is like a PS3 game, to me it’s too single-player as of late…All you need are like Serpah/Vigil all those other folk NPCS and recruit to make the game a Console solo game.
My main problem is that, the rest of the stuff is okay but kitten man where are people in this game? Absolutely no one talks. I say this everywhere I go when giving my opinion with GW2, other than that. It’s alright and my friend bought this for me so lol.
There are problems but everyone else said it. It’s still a fun game to me.

Nah, but I think for our waypoint money thing.
Waypoints should cost by DISTANCE and not level.
If they do it, then sorry didn’t realize it because I’m huffin’ it a lot because of the costs are almost 1 silver now for me.

Depends on the place.
In Kessex Hills that one place with the Waterfall was gorgeous.
Other places like some dirt road type of deal is meh.
