Armor,weaps, and runes? I was thinking maybe some percision for the extra torment but not sure.

Depends on the content you’re aiming for. For open world I would go some sort of mix of viper, sinister and either dire or trailblazer. Rune of tormenting or some other cheap rune is good enough for open world. For raids/high tier fractals full viper with berserker rune, weapons should be mace and axe. In open world you can adjust your weapons to your needs, staff I find really good weapon overall thanks to cc, blocks and semisustain from autoattack. Mace is the condi mainhand weapon but for offhand you can aswell adjust it to fit your needs, axe is the most offensive one, sword is kinda middle ground and shield full on defensive. If you are looking to do pve end-content I highly suggest you check out Quantify’s website qtfy.eu out.

According to the lead dev for material storage, this might be something they can’t undo.
…but I really hope they can. Those items should have been put into the Wallet.

And honestly, the Wallet needs a bit of a UI upgrade, if only to sort/separate the various currencies by source (dungeon, LS2, LS3, etc).

Proofs of Heroics were tokens and turned into a currency you acquire by right click —> add to wallet. They’re glorified tokens now, I imagine it’s doable.

Either way, I’d rather have by bank slots and inventory slots free again, especially with a new map token. I boycotted Lake Doric in protest of the continuing clogging of my inventory. That issue has gone away now.

Its doable but they won’t do it. Lindsey mentioned that they were intentionally made into items because “there’s a lot more things you can do with an itemDef than with a currencyDef”

I think the technical limitation with items in the wallet is that they can only interact with vendors, not crafting stations.

I agree with you, but the fact that she thought it important enough to mention says, to me, that they have zero plans to re-implement these as proper currencies and just let us use them to buy crafting mats for the recipes that use them.

You can’t mine/forage currencies. These you can, hence these are materials.

burn is bad and useless above (and probably in) gold tier. drives me insane when my teammates are burn and I bm’d falselights the other day for throwing a game playing it. though I think we still won that one.

I’m curious what is it about burn that makes it so unviable in your eyes. What area(s) do you find it to be so lacking in? Also are you just running the completely standard meta build with LB – Sw/F this season or have you made any adjustments to traits/abilities?

Wanna know why burn guard isn’t that good? It’s a one trick pony. Every class has atleast little condiclear and guardians don’t inflict much other conditions(that would cover for the damaging conditions to not be cleared) so the burning is pretty easy to clear. That’s why it only works in lower tiers of play and not upwards from gold. Every other condispec currently that is viable in higher tiers has loads of different condis that they can inflict pretty much on demand. So tldr; burnbuild is too easy to counter with condition clears.

I still don’t like removing some of the on swap/critical hit sigils since those were the most popular ones among many classes. Infact why change anything in the close future, I think the pvp balance haven’t been this good ever before. If you want to reduce rng and add counterplay opportunities then just remove chances from on hit/on crit sigils and add cooldowns to them, long enough so they don’t feel overpowered or just nerf some of the dmg.

Why just not delete thief and rev from pvp at this point? While you’re at it maybe remove dh aswell since without power build dh is left with burning build which is countered by 1 sigil. Counterplay achieved!

League rewards Season 6

Seems to be some misinformation going on right now.

The shards were not reduced. They were added to the final chest which is repeatable. So you could earn more or less depending on your play.

Secondly, wouldn’t that INCREASE population, not decrease? Because you can earn more the more you play, so I would expect more people to play longer during the season?

It decreases because in order to get the 1200 shards you got last seasons you have to repeat the final chest 18 times. That is way more games than any casual player will ever want to attempt. Even people who play 300 games in a season will get (assuming 50% win rate and always getting top score and close games) 2400 pips which is only 10 boxes I believe.

They don’t want to hand out rewards for free, like they did last season. I played abit over 100 games during whole season and I repeated the last track a few times. They want to reward players who are consistent. This way we get most of the ppl out of queue who are there only for the rewards and not for the spvp itself, since getting ascended gear through fractals is now way easier and I believe every pve-player will rather do those than pvp. I personally have very high expectations for season 6 being really good.

Dear Anet,

I want to dedicate this Topic to the newly introduced rewards in Spvp season 6. Seriously what is going on with the reduction in Ascended Shards of Glory. Previous season you were able to grind 900 of them in one season by doing all track, however this season you can only get 300 in total. Comparing the effort it takes to finish all 6 chests and the prices of the armors it is quite out of proportion. It takes 400 shards to buy and chest SKIN, not even talking about the ascended piece. This would mean you need to finish all chests and the last chest 3 times. Comparing time vs rewards the propertions are completely out of bounds. Please have a look into this as the rewards for Spvp are completely useless now.

Where did you get 300 from? It’s INFINITE this season. You get ascended shards now from the last reward track repeatedly unlike last season when you got them just once.

Revenants, why alacrity?

The alacrity change more-or-less invalidated the Chronomancer “specialization.” I fully expect that engineers will be throwing portals in the near future.

I suspect that the primary motive was to increase rev presence in raids and to reduce that of Mesmer.

There has been an ongoing trend in the game to reduce the effectiveness of special gameplay… basically the trend has been to buff face-to-face melee and to encourage “group content.”

In simpler to terms, to remove anything that is not sword swinging.

Probably because of pve…

And yet, it will likely not be meta in pve while ppl allready claiming it to be future meta in wvw and some saying it’s really strong in bunker/support in pvp so it could become minstrel druid 2.0.

Yeah, but even with scholar rune power ps (and before the patch power ps did more dps on paper than condi) is still far away from rev dps, meaning if rev get’s enough boon duration, without sacrificing too much dps it could be equal to ps warrior if not even better. So in theory it could replace one of the warriors from mirror comp, we have to wait and see what kind of builds and dps ppl come up with.

How huge was the buff of the revenant because according to the latest numbers of qT prepatch I wouldn’t call 2k dps difference (realistic buffs) “far away”.

Take into account that those benchmarks for warrior both use Assassin’s Presence which you won’t have in your raidgroup with the current meta so the actual realistic dps is lower than what the benchmark is on the list. And I don’t know where you pick up this 2k dps difference, from what I see it’s almost 5k on the dps ranking list. And that is pretty significant difference.

Edit: As for the buff to revenant, they only buffed vengeful hammers but still it’s quite decent buff. Definately noticeable buff even without dps meter as I was doing fractals earlier with my revenant.

That’s exactly the problem. If you try to be anything other than just a DPS class then you won’t beat a Warrior. If you try to bring Ventari for Alacrity, you’re weaker than a Warrior. If you try to stack might then you can’t viably swap to Jalis (which is where the increased damage was added) and you’re weaker than a Warrior. The two classes just don’t fill the same role.

P.S. New condition Warrior is super strong. It gets a free utility skill (Signet of Fury is strong), a stronger and more reliable Deep Strike, and bleeding on its filler sword auto attack Hamstring skill.

A revenant can replace one of the PS warriors now.

  • Herald doesn’t generate enough might alone (~10 stacks)

Gs didn’t receive any buffs and condi ps received a very minor buff that still wouldn’t fill the gap between rev and warr dps. Rev dps was buffed aswell. Protip, don’t play during nights when there are less players playing. That’s how the duoq guys even sit at so high mmr, they are afraid to play when all the esl players are on and can abuse matchmaking at night by getting easier opponents. System works fine there just isn’t enough players queueing during certain times and then this happens.

The traits in corruption don’t make any sense, you don’t have any torment sources apart from pulsating pestilence so the first trait is a waste. Also Spontaneous Destruction is way better than Bolstered Anguish. Also for roaming I would argue that staff is way better than hammer.

I’ll try investigating this more, but from what I undestand your decayed rating doesn’t determine who you are matched against. So in theory, when you came back you were still playing against gold players. Your decayed rating only affects your leader board position and nothing else.

This is correct. Decay does not affect your matchmaking. With our current decay settings, you can work off your decay in 7 games.

Wait, that means;
1) a correct placed player will have a match making with 50/50 win rate
2) decay reduces the division
3) but you gain it back when you win all games, in the previous division you had a 50/50 win rate
D) something here seems odd

You gain back 100 points of decayed rating per game played, not per game won.

This is incorrect. I tested the decay partly because i was on holidays, the max decay is 700. If you win games, you get 100 off of decay every time and you gain rating on top of that, if you lose, your decay stays the same but you lose your rating. So decay is there basically just to prevent ppl who reached leaderboard from staying there without playing games.

I was on vacation for a week. Came back, had -670ish decay. I’m not sure I understand what’s going on because I thought that playing matches (ranked) would eliminate or reduce that decay and, instead, it’s increasing. I now have -699 decay and I’ve played at least fifteen ranked matches today. It’s entirely possible that I am missing some crucial element here, but I really don’t understand what’s going on. Can someone dumb it way down for me and tell me why my decay appears to be increasing rather than decreasing?

Maybe it’s because on top of playing ranked you actually have to win games to get your rating back. Like someone said it’s individual counter but you still lose rating if you lose games and win rating if you win games, if you have decay you just win more of rating than you would normally do. If you lose I believe the amount of rating lost is the same with or without decay, but with decay it adds on top of decay

The best players are in Bronze

I came to the conclusion that the best players are stuck in Bronze. Because matchmaking is broken and all the good players lose all their games and go on massive lose streaks. The odds are always against them and all the games are uncarriable.

So I think the best players are in bronze around 300-900 MMR range is the best range for maximum MLG skill potential.

Im looking at the leaderboards right now and it dosent mean anything litereally every1 from rank 1 to rank 100 is just bad and somehow magically appeared on the leaderboard.

So yea I agree with every1 here who complained about matchmaking its just plain broken. Bronze players are the best players.

You are actually somewhat right, NA leaderboard players would be bronze/silver on EU.

Only problem I find is people sitting the top slots with 9/1 unpunished not even bothering to play any more. I’m moving from t1 silver almost plat now after 70 games. Probably another 40 or so to make it to the top 250.

We need a minimum games played such as 40 to take on the 250 slots at midseason. They can keep their rating but not be ranked until they meet the minimum to prove it wasn’t a fluke. That or decay needs to be more harsh.

Don’t worry, decay is fine as it is and on top of that atleast on EU the leaderboards change constantly so if you don’t keep playing actively you’ll drop out of the top 250 in no-time. I have a guildie who was at 36 and dropped to near 200 in one night after others got better rating and he lost few games.

To the people arguing about warrior rotations, there’s really no rotation but more like skill priority rather. Arcing Slice>Hundred Blades>Whirlwind Attack>etc. with GS AA actually having the least priority if you have any other gs cooldown available. Arcing Slice is the best dps if the target is under 50% and it’s important to use whenever available above 50% to upkeep Berserker’s Power. It’s also important to keep up Stick and Move-bonus as much as possible. Using Blood Reckoning (for the adrenaline gain obviously) instead of other healing skills is a dps increase aswell if you don’t lack survivability because of it.

Why are attacking so much with confusion on you? Literally not the,smartest thing to do

so you just recommend he afk’s in spawn then right? mesmers never stop applying confusion. if you cant clear it (rev cant) your dead.

If you have a large amount of stacks you can kite away and leave the point. On a Rev you have lots of blocks, evades, and other ways to avoid the confusion all together. I personally don’t try to 1v1 a condi mesmer on point though when playing my rev…..that’s just me tho.

Or you know Anet could actually try some QA and fix this bug since it’s right now the only multi hit skill that has this bug…..

the op has claimed several times. it provides 5+ times per UA attack. which is a bug. to which everyone instantly replied “LEARN2PLAY GIT GUD EXPLOITS R GUD FOR MESMER”

His wording is that1 UA attack procs 1 confusion damage. He goes to say that he’s getting hit for 5 confusion procs per UA use. That means he is being penalized for each of the 5 attacks of UA.

WORKING AS INTENDED PEOPLE.

Now if he was getting 10 procs of confusion per 1 UA use THAT would be a bug. This is simple a user error problem not an actual bug

Like all damaging conditions, it will stack up to a maximum of 1500 times.” Quoted from gw2 wiki. Unrelenting Assault is one skill with multiple damage instances, just like Hundred Blades, Unload etc. It is a bug, even on UA’s wikipage ( https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unrelenting_Assault ) it states that it’s a bug and devs have said it themselves it’s a bug but they have not found a way to fix it yet.

I agree. There are many players who have similar play skills if you take away the support of a rehearsed team.

While a minority believe that the mode is designed for team play.. It’s really not. It’s designed for “teams” of randoms. It is not designed for farm teams against randoms.

Do you have randoms in the actual proleague? No. Every team uses voicecommunication and they scrim and practice, it’s just a matter that who’s the most devoted to win. Sure some players are naturally more skilled than others but in the end it just comes down to teamplay. Conquest was designed teamplay in mind, if it wasn’t designed for it there would be no 5man teams that face off against eachother. It would be either full on deathmatch or some other different gamemode if it was designed for soloplay.

Except the gamemode as conquest is not about soloplay, it’s about teamplay. Get over it. Also Helseth taking a regular job instead of streaming just tells that streaming gw2 isn’t as profitable as the job offer he got. He will still play competetively, he won’t just stream as much as he did while he was unemployed. Even if he’s the most successful gw2 streamer out there it’s not enough to pay more than a regular dayjob, compared to lets say dota2, cs:go, overwatch or other top viewed games on twitch.

Revenant main here, didn’t bother to read all the comments but I have a few words to OP. I don’t think you’re a main revenant if you complain about precision strike and ua getting countered by minions and making those into single target skills is a bad nerf to rev, I mean autoattack is still the best dps against single and multiple targets(cleave) if you can stick to them. Pve proves us that. Minion necro is one of the easiest classes for a rev to kill(even when playing retribution with lesser damage). Things what actually counter rev is condi-mesmer, thief if you play invocation and outsustaining bunkers. Necro counters you with condi and boon corrupts but you can actually win the matchup if you can time your dodges and get a jump on the necro, he is super dependant on his lifeforce. Rev mobility is totally fine, you just need to manage your energy better, though i agree that both cooldown and energycost on some skills kinda seems little stupid. Every class has weaknesses like revenant has condi, every class/build has a straight counter.

I just fail to understand how a player of that skill level would require the builds off metabattle.

I’m not saying my build is the best. Perhaps it’s not. But I doubt that everything is so unbelievably narrowed to an elegant game of rock paper scissors.

Is it really so narrow at that level of play, that a single trait choice can be the difference? A single utility choice? Is it really so limited that the only necro is conditi reaper?

Why is that?

Bad balance?

Or does the community only trust the builds of tournament winners?

Are you saying it is impossible to counter a meta build?

Or that those counters are only available on patch day before they become meta.

Ok, you clearly did not get my point why I linked the video. Now onto different problem. Don’t read metabattle like it’s the bible. The builds there aren’t always meta and when they are they aren’t meta for all tiers of play, ie. lower skilled players can do well with the metabuilds but in higher skill play you might get rekt on the same build. On some classes sure pros use the metabattle builds because they are simply the best what the class can offer to a team (atleast somewhat, they might change the rune or 1 trait here or there). But the answer to your question why power necro isn’t considered good is that there are multiple classes that are better as power and do every aspect you can do, but better. And that leaves necros with conditions/boon corruptions. I could see a power necro work even in higher tiers of play if you incorporate boon corruptions to your build, which btw you don’t have except axe3. Corruptions are what make necro unique and what other classes don’t offer and that’s why ppl play them in higher tiers.

You’ll have to pardon my ignorance then, what exactly is different beyond other player’s twitch reaction speed at high level pvp? I’ve watched endless hours of youtube of top end players, and much of the time I find myself thinking… “why did he do that? wouldn’t that moment have been better served doing X or Y?” or “why that trait choice?” and while I admit that I’m by no means at that level of twitch reactions… when watching the video’s I’ve got all the time in the world to analyze… and it feels like its just ‘faster’ than what I do on a daily basis.

I called this anti-meta, because the top end players tend to use the same 9 (or perhaps 11 if were being generous) builds. Just about 1 per class… and when you see X class, you know it has Y build on it… the counters are all fresh in your mind. If you were good enough to take your build into high end pvp, and do what they are not expecting… they will melt before they have any idea how to deal with it.. because they haven’t spend endless hours saying to themselves “now when i see them pop this move, interrupted with that skill..” and so on. Its a wrench in the works, so to speak.

Isn’t the attitude that no other build is viable just perpetuating an unnecessary stereotype?

Why assume my heal WILL get interrupted? Isn’t it possible that I lock down an enemy with fear to create a window… or start the cast while they are in a dodge-roll?

Some of the reasons that you listed as to why its bad, don’t hold water in my mind.

Again, I admit that I’m not some legendary pvper with my own youtube channel, but I have been playing since launch, and have more time spent playing necro than any other class… and I have every class leveled and geared.. multiples of my three favorites, just so I don’t have to swap builds. Perhaps that means little… but as a guitar player I can tell you, its not about how fast you hit the same notes as everyone else, but how elegantly you use them.

Help me out here, what am I not seeing?

And how you know this info exactly? Last time I checked you couldn’t check out teammates/enemies builds ingame. Also in the World Championships most revenants used Rune of Surging, instead of the original Leadership or Strength.

Well… the issue is a non-issue… Endure pain don’t prevent lifesteal damage, endure pain only prevent direct damage.

Lifesteal is fine. I don’t care so much about that damage.

But having damage that can’t miss is the issue. That’s all I care about. If I dodgewhen you have the daggers up, I should be rewarded and you should be punished for missing attacks.

This has irked me since the class came out. Its a poor design. Easy comparison is adrenaline consumed on everything. Even the old style put it on a cooldown.

You are forgetting the fact that Enchanted Daggers is a healing skill and with the meta revenant build we actually have 2 of the worst heals out there against competent players. The initial heal of glint is 1.8k and the initial heal of shiro is 1.5k. Enchanted Daggers duration is 15 seconds and even though the lifesteal cannot be countered with defensive skills you can counter it by being offensive. There are stuns, roots, dazes and as a warrior you have alot of those. Glint heal can be countered even easier, just don’t hit them while they have it active. You are not playing a bunker so should you be able to live 1v2 regardless of the opposing classes? No. I can see the concern if enchanted daggers was an utility skill then it would be overpowered. But as a healing skill, I think it’s fine.

Didn’t yet check all of the builds you posted but you already have a mistake in the first build of Drazeh, he actually used carrion amulet, not mender. He trolled at the start because they know casters will check their builds, which is kinda funny since Jebro wasn’t even boggled by the amulet choice and didn’t go back to check it again later. How can I know he used carrion amulet? Check his full hp after the match starts, it’s 28k something and at the start the hp is 24k something. You can confirm the hp yourself ingame. Also why would anyone run mender with the condi metabuild? I could understand if he had a decent power weapon instead of longbow since mace+shield is decent even with power builds because of the all cc. I believe you picked up the builds from the caster previewing them but you probably will have to double check every odd spec since players can swap around stuff.
Edit: You also have a wrong weapon in the build, I just went back to confirm that he was using longbow because you made me think twice lol.
Edit2: Also Denshee used lighting flash against r55 instead of aftershock like you have in your build.

1. Infil Sig is a stun break and shadowsteps to a target for it’s active and the passive is helpful. Blinding powder is a blast finisher and gives quick access to stealth.

2. Longbow gives good access to burns.

i do not, but i roam in wvw alot. i would have set my bars up very differently on a thief, and probably would have went s/s, s/t on the warrior. I was thinking that mobility was more important for the warrior but guess not.

Roaming in wvw=spvp since when….? Totally different metas and playstyles in totally different gamemodes. Go play spvp abit and get a clue how different it is from wvw roaming. Sure the skills from either of the gamemodes are very valuable in the other but the playstyles are very different and the objectives/goals are totally different.

I also do not need Berserker to do well on my Revenant, so you see, it is all subjective. I play more build on Revenant than Elementalist for example.

Never go full retar… He mean’t that he doesn’t need the elite spec for warrior to do well with it, unlike revenant is quite dependant on herald spec to do well.

Well, as long as this topic is up, I have a legit question.

Very first league match today on Skyhammer, and as soon as our gates opened the entire enemy team was standing at the bottom (of our spawn) waiting for us, and within less than 3 seconds had capped all 3 points despite all 5 of them being at our spawn. Needless to say, it was a slaughter.

I have encountered, in unranked, a couple times where someone from the enemy team beats us to our home point and simply chalked it up to some insane movement ability I don’t understand yet (only 1 80 so far so I don’t know everyone’s abilities). But this was ridiculous. Not sure if it’s a bug/exploit with portals or what, but my entire team cried hax.

Is this something that can be done legitimately, or did I actually encounter some hackers?

League match? Skyhammer isn’t in ranked. Think again. Was this unranked match or hotjoin? Also if any hacks were included I seriously doubt the whole team would be using them. There are some known players who probably use some kind of hack that can give your character immortality(you get downed but you can rez freely since you can’t get stomped or be damaged) and instant teleport. Dunno if these guys are banned already since I haven’t seen anyone cheating since last ranked season.

Why would anyone in their right mind play a power reaper? All of the necros weapons suitable for power builds are the worst in the game across all classes right now, atleast before anet decides to buff those weapons. Also you shouldn’t be fighting warrior 1v1 in the first place as necro that isn’t your role. If you still want to 1v1 the key to possibly win this matchup is boon corruption and poison. Still though I would suggest playing condi instead of power.

I’ve seen few ppl run it in pvp and now Drazeh is using something like it in the finals. Hybrid build with gs and mace shield. I’m not sure if i can see the build fully from the vod (traits, sigils, rune, amulet etc) so if anyone knows the build I’m talking about, it would be nice if they can post it here.

I play rev a lot. Were okay, really… Power rev is a glass cannon and needs to be as glass as it is cannon. The cannon aspect of rev is high, the glass part balances it out.

As for the talk about rolling mist, it should be reverted to give a 1.5x bonus (so fury gives 30%). If charged mists gets fixed at the same time then invocation will be okay and power rev will be as well.

So many revenant “experts” in this thread it makes me cry. About the nerf to roiling mists no, just no, it would affect pve too much. Many esl lvl revenants use charged mists so this makes me question what is actually bugged with charged mists? I’ve been using it lately aswell with nefarious momentum and to me it seems to work ok. Running full glass cannon with marauder amulet and strength rune is kinda hard in the condi meta we are in now but to me it seems it’s the only viable way to play rev as of now. So I agree that we need some condi clears because currently we are too reliant on the cleric ele cleansing/rune choices.

Hey guys, I’m quite fresh warrior(rev main) and I’ve been really getting into wvw lately. I’ve found myself a nice roaming build but now I would like to have a build for zergs aswell. What kind of frontline builds you guys run? Both with and without berserker since I don’t yet have the elite spec unlocked on warrior(currently working on tempest). Also I know there’s a build on metabattle, I’ve seen it so don’t bother posting that but instead if you have your own build post that rather

as a player that uses nomad stats in pve ..why in pvp must i fight with less then half my normal life points and low def..i don’t see the zerkers have to fight with half their attack, and crit.. that seems like a onesided deal..for those who use nomad gear.

We had Nomad amulet in spvp (minstrel’s amulet) but it had short Life because was totally broken on bunker classes like Ele and ranger, and the resulting was games like 200-200 where no one could die with no skill involved, worst than the most famous bunker mesmer meta we had after.

Maybe there is some esl games recorded around with Minstrel’s

What class you play? If you want to play bunker just pick up cleric amulet and soldier rune on ele, or if you play on ranger pick up mender amulet and dolyak rune. On guardian you can use cleric i think and on warrior cleric or mender both work fine. There are still plenty of options for different bunker builds in regards of amulets and runes.

The problem i feel with the wanderer build now vs merc build before is that power damage is very low so if you are up against a class that has good condi cleanse/resistance then you’re almost worthless.

When i was playing Sw/Torch Mace/Sh Merc Amulet setup at least i felt i was doing some power damage even if the other guy kept cleansing condis. (damage stats were 50/50 power/condi on every match)

For eg. who do you think will win in a 1v1? This build vs a Power GS Axe/Shield War . The power war has the same trait setup so has great condi clear and resistance uptime BUT can do a huge amount of power damage against you while negating most of your damage. (i accept that pvp is not 1v1 so dont flame me. im just asking the question)

Using Pack Runes and a sigil of Agility (swiftness/quickness one) you will have more run speed to help counter anyone who wants to kite you.

Sometimes (at least for soloQ) a good build may be one that counters the meta rather than the actual meta.

I didnt play yesterday so cant say how its going and pre S3 in unranked i played the Sw/T M/Sh Merc build and sometimes the LB M/Sh Merc build.

I started using sage a few days before they removed merc. It works really well for me, you just have to get used to it first. You can get bursted easier than before but you can still sustain really well if you hit your primal bursts, I’m doing easily 300-400k healing to self per game. And the power dmg is still there aswell. I tried wanderer also but I felt it performed worse than sage on the M/Sh LB build I’m using.

I played exactly 10 games, 6 wins, 4 losses so 60% winrate, i got 2x 3game winstreaks, after the last 3game winstreak i stopped for the day so I’m now 6pips in sapphire. I played all 4 of my classes, 5 on warrior(3-2), 1 on ele(win), 1 on necro(win) and 3 on rev(1-2). So far it seems to me that s3 is the most balanced yet.

You don’t get the complaining because you’ve been fortunate to not have clowns for team mates.

I actually had clowns even in the games I won, mostly because others played well and carried the clowns. Still season is quite decent so far.

Never, and I mean NEVER engage a revenant with 0 lifeforce. Use boon corrupts, try to stay out of their range while out of reaper shroud, since you have 900 and 1200 range weapons while they have full melee. Use shroud to tank their cc+burst. Rise! is a great utility against revenants especially in teamfights since it renders unrelenting assault basically useless. Also they have very little condi clears so if you can survive their burst you have already won if it’s 1v1.

Assassin Stance. Riposting Shadows is great in place of Phase Traversal if you don’t have available targets to use it on. Also Impossible Odds is really great to run away, since it gives superspeed and not many classes have superspeed on demand available. If I need to run away I always get away unless I get CC’d to death. I think rev has the second best mobility in the game after thief.
