All skirmish chests earned before PoF launch will contain Proof of Heroics. All skirmish chests earned after will have the new currency.
Are the proof of heroics themselves being retired or are both going to be available in the new chest… also ranking up in WvW, does that provide the new currency or the old?

you can get rewards at the same rate by wasting supply in SMC by repairing a section of the wall every 10 minutes as you can by being the top damage dealer in the main group.

I think one of the main reasons is that teamspeak has more options built around actual voice options.. like “cc chat” .. however I’m also hearing discord has a similar option, but tbh.. Discord feels bloated.
People were already hating that even though you were in combat with another play, it didn’t count towards participation.. but you want to make that even worse by removing basically the remaining amount of participation they have left?

Several players have asked where the test will take place, in an in-game sense.
The area in which the stress test will take place is the Crystal Desert map that you may previously have visited during our PvE Preview Weekend.
Is this stress test only to test the new map itself, or is it game wide?
I ask because WvW has been getting really bad lag issues with zerg vs. zerg fights.. and ping values jumping up higher, and getting “skill delay” issues. Wasn’t sure if this stress test was to also help with that or not.
He can send in a ticket to request assistance. They will ask for information other then character name that he can try to supply to get his password reset.
You need to LOG IN to send a ticket… which requires a PASSWORD…

OP is likely in the extreme minority. I have every bank tab unlocked and never come close to using all of the space
I’m on the game 16+ hours a day. 10 of those hours into WvW, 6 into farming stuff.
I guess it depends on how long you play each day.. even though you have all tabs unlocked.. yours might not be even close to full cuz you don’t play as long?
Make a personal guild and upgrade the bank.
I already have Treasure Trove before HoT came out.. I can’t get Deep Cave because that requires a level 32 guild.. and that’s not happening with a “personal” guild..
You might be able to contact support and ask if you can get the item for the discounted price as you had clearly bought expansion and gems before the items went up for sale. If the gems took longer than 72 hours to be delivered, I don’t see why they wouldn’t honor it.

Doing a screen shot asks for your account to be targeted for hacks honestly so I wouldn’t ask the anyone for that. But can give you some examples form various players I know or have discussed this with in the past (and granted some of these peeps are packrats):
1-2 tabs toys, collectibles, ingame novelty items, widgets, seasonal items
1-2 tabs Black Lion Chest drop items
1-3 tabs zone booster, zone pots, WvW/PvP pots, ToKs
1 tab – WvW siege, items, materials, tricks/traps
1 tab – food and utilities for various toons/builds if the player play more than 6 toons
1-6 tabs ascended rings, accessories, amulets
1-6 tabs ascended armor and weapons
1-14 tabs materials that don’t fit in maxed collections
1-3 tabs on craftable pre-cursors items and items needed for various stages
1-14 tabs if the player is a trader or specialty item trader
1-3 tabs for items moving between toons or items collected on one toon but need
opened on another, aka farming toons moving items to salvaging toons
1-14 tabs items for preparing for guild hall expansions in PoF
1-14 tabs loot bags awaiting opening for bag changes/future material needs
1 tab zone currencies/keys
1-14 tabs of things that don’t stack that should (example: salvaging kits)Just some examples to help picture things.
1. Toys, Tonics, Seasonal Stuff (SAB mostly) taking up 1 Tab.
2. Boosters, Revive Orbs, TP To Friends, Single Use Black Lion Items, etc taking up 1 tab.
3. WvW items (Siege including Superior & Guild), food, reward track pots taking up 2 tabs.
4. Black Lion Salvage Kits.. only 25 charges each.. taking up 3 tabs.
5. Champ Bags stored away for as needed material when necessary. Most of my material is reaching cap so opening the bags would just give me mats that would take up even more space in my bank. This is taking up 3 tabs.
6. Ascended Rings, Accessories, Amulets, and Armor for different builds for different characters. Taking up 4 tabs. (am working on Legendary armor via WvW but that’ll take a while).
I mean I “could” get a character slot and put some stuff on it, but that defeats the purpose if having a permanent bank contract to access your belongings.
Also I do own a personal guild, but only have Treasure Trove unlocked, but not Deep Cave as I didn’t have enough time before HoT came out.. and didn’t even realize you could get more space past Treasure Trove until it was too late. However my entire Trove is filled up with ToT bags.
When PoF releases, we will have 5 maps, and who knows those maps could have each of their own type of items and what not. So it’ll be even worse. More tabs are necessary.
Currently right now the Bank Tab cap is 14 including the one you start with.
As PoF is about to come out later on in September.. having only 14 Bank Tabs is not enough. I am already struggling with the stuff I have now with Core + HoT
We need more Bank Tabs.. it would be nice is there was no cap to allow us to get whatever we feel necessary. Why limit us?

I’m sorry that you’re having this issue. I wonder, have you tried lowering your Visual Blur setting? That is a specific recommendation from the team, and they feel it may help with this problem.
We’d love to hear from you if this adjustment is effective. Team members who have worked/are working on the mounts will be tracking this feedback!
Well not entirely sure about the motion sickness part, it could be for some players… but I had few issues with mounts. Maybe it’s intentional maybe not, but first off Strafing doesn’t work while on the mount when standing still. Look Behind hotkey doesn’t work while mounted, and first person mode doesn’t work while mounted either.
Oh so fully reach 0%.. I thought it was 15 mins until decay starts.. didn’t know it was until it’s fully dissipated. The notes probably should have been worded a bit better..

I agree, getting tickets after finishing diamond was nice. And if it were left in it would give people that already finished diamond for the week to actually still come back to WvW.
Say someone reached diamond 3 days into the week. Now they have about 4 more days left.. usually in those 4 days you won’t see them in WvW because they know they won’t be earning tickets until the next reset. With repeatable tickets in place, they would still play those 4 remaining days for the week. Otherwise WvW will just feel dead half way through the week like it has been.

I’ve been having the same issue against HoD this week. Massive 2-4k ping spikes as soon as we near their zerg.
It’s the same for any server going against another zerg. How do you think I feel when playing thief. and I’m spamming a skill to use, and burn up all my initiate because my skill didn’t go off.
What im getting at is maybe its time to make it only 3 tiers.
While it might sound like a good idea on paper, it’s a bad idea in sense that even with just Tier 1 servers fighting against each other.. there is a problem with skill lag across all servers, so making them even more populated in WvW would make the skill lag even worse.

What does that have to do with it?
Right now when 2 or more Zerg (or Blobs as some call it) fight each other you end up getting 3-5 seconds of delay between skill use. Making impossible to determine what skill to use next. Is there ANYTHING being done to fix this issue?
Also I do not believe this is related to DDoSing as it only occurs when 2 zerg start fighting each other.

Hearing reports from other people on twitch streams they too cannot login on any character parked in Siren’s Landing.
Not sure if this is just a design flaw, or an actual bug.. but if you salvage enough items.. over time you’ll get fps lag until you relog.

What in the ####ing #### has ANet done to deserve these attacks? This is so not cool on so many levels. I can think of a gazillion other companies that are more deserving of this than them.
GW2 isn’t the only game using those servers.
It’s an attack on NCSoft. As long as GW2 uses NCSoft servers it will always be attacked. They need to get their own servers not linked to NCSoft in order to take care of this problem, but that involves spending time and money, and my guess is that money is to pay developers, and other employees.

I know there are lot of upset people about the recent changes to the Participation timer for each event or activity involving keeping your participation timer going.
However I think ANet should really put up a vote to ask everyone that actually plays out in WvW if they should revert the changes or keep them as they are.
They just need to put Cloth and Leather nodes around in PvE maps, like how they have them in WvW. Just not in Guild Halls or Home instances.
Wouldnt help at all, lol. Despite them being introduced just for this purpose WvW synthesizers have near zero chance to drop T6 and on top of that near zero chance for a second try, you only get one mat. Hell getting T5 is incredibly rare. T1-2 is probably 90% of the loot table.
From what I’ve seen T3 is the most rare from those nodes. I play out in WvW for 8-10 hours.. and hardly have any Rugged leather
the only thing we have changed is the reset time for each action.
The reset times are as follows:
• Killing a Player – 10 minutes
• Killing a Caravan – 2 minutes
• Destroying a fortification – 5 minutes
• Killing a Guard – 2 minutes
• Killing a Lord – 5 minutes
• Killing or reviving a merc npc – 1 minute
• Repairing – 5 minutes
• Siege Damage Wall/Gate/Player – 1 minute
• Destroying Siege – 5 minute
• Killing a Veteran Creature – 5 minutesThese happen on event completion:
• Defending a Caravan – 2 minutes
• Completing a Merc Event – 5 minutes
• Completing a Defend Event – 10 minutes
• Capturing an objective – 10 minutes
• Capturing a Ruin or Shrine – 2 minutes
• Capturing a Sentry – 5 minutesIt is still possible that we will tweak these numbers going forward.
Why was this changed to begin with? What was wrong with what it currently was at?
Now it’s going to be near impossible to earn pips at non-peak hours. Which is my only time of day I can actually enjoy WvW.
Please change it back to what it was previously. I’m ok with the Outnumbered buff change that can stay I don’t care about that.
It’s already a chore as it is for anyone lower rank earning pips to reach Diamond chest each week.. now you make it even harder on them. This severely discourages new players to come into WvW as they learn that they can barely keep their participation going without decay kicking in.

We made a change to the way Outnumbered works that should help this feel a lot less bad. Outnumbered is now applied each scoring tick (every 5 minutes). Swapping to a map right before a tick will no longer grant an Outnumbered pip bonus. Instead, you must play on an Outnumbered map for an entire tick to earn the bonus.
You completely missed the point of what OP was making. Say you are on the map for 4 mins and 58 seconds.. and the last 2 seconds Outnumbered disappears. You get awarded pips, but without Outnumbered. Then Outnumbered comes back. Here is a youtube video to explain exactly what I am talking about. Watch the Outnumbered buff as the tick timer counts down.
I’m not sure if this is labeled as a bug or not.. but ever since the changes to Vault the past few major patches, you can no longer weapon swap during the middle of Vault on thief.
I seen nothing in the patch notes to dictate that this was intentional or if it was just over looked.

This could be related to DDoS attacks.. so far 7 of my accounts all have login rewards..
Could always make Tomes of Knowledge be included in a new recipe that would let you craft level 20, 30, and 40 scrolls with the respectable amount of tomes.
